While most customers use (and depend on) the standard same day courier services (picking up and delivering everything from documents to machine goods and parts up to 10,000 lbs.) from Logan on the north through Salt Lake City or down to Provo and Spanish Fork on the south; the truth is that J & R Xpress also offers Priority pick up and delivery in those same areas 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A dispatcher is available to take phone orders at all times. Once an order is placed, a box truck or van is dispatched within an hour to get the order picked up and delivered in a timely fashion. The Priority service is a dedicated run non-stop from the pick up location to where it is to be delivered.

J & R Xpress Couriers also offers Hot Shot service anywhere in Utah and surrounding states. Prices for both the Priority service and the Hot Shot services are based on the weight of the package and the mileage to be traveled.

So, when you need to get something from point A to point B, call J & R Xpress Couriers. We are proud to say that "Your priorities are our priorities."

About J & R Xpress Couriers

Businesses today must be light on their feet. When customers require documents or parts or equipment right away, pro-active companies in Utah know that there are same day delivery companies such as J & R Xpress Couriers, LLC have the resources and expertise to follow through with timely service.

J & R Xpress Couriers has over 25 vans, box trucks, and sprinter vans on the road. Local service runs from Payson in Utah county on the south to Logan in Cache county on the north. J & R Xpress Couriers makes multiple runs in every direction each business day. Example: ABC company in Ogden needs 2 pallets of plastic materials picked up and delivered to company CBS in Provo. J & R Xpress Couriers makes 3 runs every day between Ogden and Provo. One driver will pick up the materials, coordinate the exchange with a Utah county driver to meet up in Salt Lake City, and the materials will be delivered within a few hours of pick up.

J & R Xpress has the resources in place to make such deliveries hundreds of times each business day. In addition to the normal daily local deliveries, customers can also know that J & R Xpress Couriers has priority service (non-stop pick up and delivery 24/7) available as well.

Hot Shot Delivery

J & R Xpress Couriers is happy to pick up and deliver anything. From documents to auto parts to machine goods to tires to pallets of plastics to steel pipe. However, even with this being the normal practice, occasionally something comes up that makes us wonder...

We received a Hot Shot order to take some containers to an oil field in another state. The plan was to drop off the containers and then to pick them up a few days later after they were filled up with rock samples. When we got the call to make the return trip, we received instructions that an armed guard would accompany our truck back to Utah. When our driver arrived at the designated pick up location, he was met by the armed guard, along with two black SUV's full of armed security men. He was instructed to follow one SUV with the other to trail him. On the way back to Utah he was told to follow the first SUV in a detour off the freeway. They drove for almost 45 minutes in what appeared to be an effort to elude any possible followers. In the end, they arrived back in Salt Lake City without further incident.

Those must be some very valuable rocks...
For that to happen, they must have the necessary parts and equipment. J & R Xpress Couriers connects the supplier and the customer by picking up and delivering both parts and products.

Case in point: On a recent Saturday night an oil services company in Salt Lake City was called by an oil company in east Texas who needed a part for an oil rig. The fact is that if the rig goes down, it can cost the oil company thousands of dollars an hour. They needed to get the part to the job site right away. The services company called J & R Xpress Couriers at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Within an hour, a van was dispatched and picked up the part - 600 lbs. The part was delivered to east Texas at approximately 2:20 p.m. Monday afternoon. Both the oil company and the oil services company were satisfied with the results of the services provided by J & R Xpress Couriers.

Lessons to be learned from this experience: 1.) When parts or products are needed (up to 10,000 lbs.), J & R Xpress Couriers is ready to provide quality service and timely delivery. 2.) Companies can call J & R Xpress Couriers 24 hours a day, seven days a week to place their order. 3.) J & R Xpress Couriers will pick up and deliver anywhere in the state of Utah and/or in surrounding states. 4.) At J & R Xpress Couriers, quality service with on time delivery are the central objectives.
J & R Xpress Couriers, LLC. has been operating in Utah for over 15 years. Starting with just a few vans and even fewer customers, the company has grown to include cars, vans, and box trucks. Initially, the company delivered documents and auto parts. Now, deliveries include everything from engines to pipe to manufactured composites to any kind of parts (whatever will fit in a van or truck).

Our customers are the life blood of the business. Each one is just as important now as they were back when the business began. The goal of J & R Xpress Couriers, LLC is to provide quality service, along with a timely delivery. While there are incidents in which something less happens, our customers know that we are intent on continuous improvement. We have added priority (non-stop delivery 24/7 within our normal delivery area) and Hot Shot Service (non-stop delivery anywhere in Utah and to/from surrounding states). These services provide our customers with the means to move their businesses forward.
