Seungri High School ranks as one of the worst of the 178 high schools in Seoul based on academic scores. Seungri High School is now busy preparing presentations for its new students. Class 2 is at the bottom of grade 2 at Seungri High. Nam-Soon (Lee Jong-Suk) is elected class president for grade 2, thanks to the support of Jung-Ho (Kwak Jung-Wook), who is a member of the school gang. Se-Chan (Daniel Choi) is the top Korean language teacher at a famous institute in Gangnam. In order to improve the student's scores at Seungri High School, the school hires Se-Chan. When Se-Chan appears at the school's opening presentation, Nam-Soon becomes embarrassed.

Block B sues Stardom, asks for exclusive contract to be nullified

It has suddenly been reported that Block B has filed a suit against their agency to ask for their exclusive contract to be nullified.

According to the media outlets that reported this, the Block B members have filed against Stardom at the Seoul Central District Court, stating, “During the signing of the exclusive contract, it was promised that in addition to providing proper training opportunity and facilities, we would be paid on every 25th of the following month… However, the agency has not paid us for nearly one year since April of 2011.” (it’s not clear whether it is 2011 or 2012 since the quote in the article states that it is nearly a year, but April of 2011 would be well over a year).

“It started last year in March when one member’s contract was ended and his portion of the pay was calculated… Appearance fees from events as well as pay from SBS drama ‘Phantom’s OST, MBC drama ‘Golden Time’ OST, and funds collected from the inaguration of our Japanese fan site’s fan club, and more for a total of 10 things, have been omitted.”

They also added, “The CEO of the agency, Mr. Lee, has also disappeared with the 70,000,000 KRW (~66,000 USD) that he collected from the members’ parents to use for promotion and production costs… He never listened to the members opinions or thoughts on their activities and directed only in his way.”

So far, there has been no word from the agency about this matter, so stay tuned for updates.

4minute‘s Jiyoon has released a solo track, which is a remake of “Between Love and Friendship“! The song was publicized through “I Am A Singer“, and is from her first musical ‘My Love By My Side‘. The musical also features other songs such as “As Much As Love Distributed All Over the World“, “Farewell That’s Not Farewell“, “Feelings For Only One Person“, and “I Miss You“. Jason.j, a producer for movies and albums as well as Jiyoon’s musical, produced the album, and Jjangragi, who worked on many famous songs, edited the song. The song is not a traditional ballad, but is more bright with guitar melodies which Jiyoon reinterpreted in her own way.

She posted a picture saying, “We’re in the middle of taking pictures for our Japanese album jacket” on the 16th on her Twitter.

Rookie group Gang Kiz admitted that it’s embarrassing for them to call their fellow label group T-ara, “seniors” in public.

Gang Kiz, whose members are preparing for their debut day, consists of members Hwang Jihyun, Choi Sooeun, Lee Haein, Kim Hyeji, Kwak Somin, Jo Eunbyul, and Esther. Members Hwang Jihyun, Choi Sooeun, and Lee Haein have already debuted as actresses before and are technically seniors of T-ara.

Hwang Jihyun debuted as an actress in 2002 and is in her 10th year since her acting debut. Choi Sooeun and Lee Haein debuted as actresses in 2006 with CFs. Member Kim Hyeji was also a model before.

Gang Kiz stated, “In the music industry it’s certain that we have to call T-ara seniors because they have debuted before us and are seniors. But when we went to Europe to do shootings or when T-ara prepares for their Japan concerts and fan club meetings, we often meet T-ara in the practice room and it’s embarrassing to call them seniors then.”

About this the T-ara members said, “When Gang Kiz calls us seniors, we T-ara members are even more embarrassed. We spend our time together as older and younger sisters and hearing “senior” from them is embarrassing. Especially from senior actresses Hwang Jihyun, Choi Sooeun, and Lee Haein.”

On the other hand, Gang Kiz went to Europe for eight nights and nine days with T-ara for shootings. They have gained popularity since then along with the teaser image and footage they have released from Europe.

Gang Kiz is currently practicing their title song, “HONEY HONEY” for their May debut.

Big Bang unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming World Tour and hyped fans by setting up their official announcement page. Prior to their comeback this year, YG Entertainment announced that they have collaborated with Live Nation for the “Big Bang Alive Tour 2012.”

On May 14th, the full trailer of their upcoming tour was uploaded on their YouTube account and it highlighted clips from their three day concert in Seoul, South Korea. It was also confirmed that the group is set to take their tour to Asia, North America, South America, and Europe, and will perform in 25 cities in 16 countries.

After kicking off their concert tour in South Korea last February, Big Bang is set to bring the tour to Japan from May 17th to June 24th. Information of their upcoming concert dates across Asia, America, and Europe will be updated on their official page.
