Rainwater barrels

I just saw cute, nice rainwater barrels at simplyrainbarrels.com and I instantly remember home and Mama's garden coz for sure, her garden will be lovelier with a rain barrel in it ( which can also be used as a garden decor, aside from its real purpose of storing rainwater).

Here's the photo of the rain barrel that I like the most and the same rain barrel that will make Mama's garden lovelier as well:
Though we have a deep well in our home with a motor pump connected in it for easier usage, but still a rain barrel will be a nice thing in Mama's garden coz we use a lot of water everyday just for watering her plants and flowers. So, it's just a smart idea to store rainwater in this lovely barrel to lessen the electric bill ( coz it means less usage of the motor pump). :) I just hope there are rain barrels for sale where we live and as cute and nice as the barrels I saw at simplyrainbarrels.com.

My Mother loves plants, flowers and gardening. We always have a lot of flowers at home since my childhood days until now. She even made the different species of mayana (a local herbal plant) look beatiful with their different leaf patterns. And now that the house in Pinas is renovated as well as the landscaping to give space to the mini-multicab that she bought on her 49th birthday, still she manages to make a space for her flowers. :)

How I wish our house has a bigger lawn, so my Mama's garden will be bigger as well coz I really want to buy her some home and garden products just like the ones I saw at Become. Here's a beautiful garden table that I saw from there:

I really love the table set and I'm sure it will look perfect in Mama's garden. I love the landscaping in the photo too. I can show it to Mama and maybe we can hire someone to landscape the garden so it will look similar to this. I miss my family, I miss home.

I just stumbled into justaddressplaques.com a while ago and I enjoyed viewing all their address plaques and numbers. The store is the marketplace of a wide variety of address plaques categorized into: residential address plaques, commercial address plaques, address numbers, address posts, specialty plaques amd mailboxes. All their plaques are so cool that I want to have one for our house in Bohol.:) But the brother has to make some more renovation to our house, so it wouldn't look "over" if we will put an elegant/cool address sign just outside the gate. hehehe.

Ate Eves is one of my funny,kind ate friends.:) I've known her since my visa waiting time in Pinas. We've already shared a lot of memories together in Denmark, Norway and now Spain.:) I love her so much and I admire her for her determination to succeed in life. And oh, her love for her family is so greaaat that she sacrificed her own happiness for her family. She has a lot of dreams and one by one, those dreams are coming into reality. And one of it is her dream house. And about 1 year ago, she finally built the house or her dreams.:)

Ohhh my goodness, it has been a year since I last posted here, what a shame!:( The last post was on November 2009 and I even told there that I'm back to blog, but too bad and it was also my last post for the year. grrrrrrrrrrr. I know it has been so long since my last post here, 4 months to be exact and it's really frustrating.:( I want to blog all the time, but I just don't have enough time, let alone maintain 5 blogs! Here's a photo of the living room of my host family in Norway. This is also a typical living room for me, with only few things, so it creates a clean and peaceful view. A really nice place to relax because it has no clutter at all.
The glass window is also a nice thing coz it brings more light to the house. The white paint makes the house more lighter and the brown wooden floor also matches.

After several days of searching for house models, I finally found the house of my dreams, just like I mentioned on the earlier post, the total cost is more than 4 million pesos,hehehe. Seems impossible for me to have the house of my dreams, but I'll keep on dreaming since it's free,:) And anyways, the cost is more expensive coz it's a house and lot package in a subdivision. But maybe, if I'll buy my own land then it will be way much cheaper.

But I have some modifications to it,:) as if I am ready to build it,hehehe. I want to family room section in the ground floor to be converted into a guest room and the family room upstairs into a library. No matter how small my house will be, but a library is really a must since I love reading and I love collecting books and novels,:)

About 2 months ago, I saw a wedding video of a couple from Manila who had their destination wedding in Bohol. And I just learned that time that destination wedding is already an "in" thing these days. Poor me for being behind about the latest:(. Welcome to my newly reformat blog!:) Finally, I´m done with my long overdue assignment of reformatting my blogs. Yohooo, my female employer told me last night already that I´ll be having a holiday next Wednesday (June 24) coz it´s also a National holiday here in celebration of St. John´s Day. And she told me that I can already go home on Tuesday night around 8:30pm. Yeheyyy, I´m lovin´it coz the singles are already planning to go to the beach on Teusday night to watch the fireworks. They said the wireworks and celebration on St. John´s Day here in Spain is amazing and I am already excited to witness it.:)

Arggggggggg, it´s freakin´hot in here right now!! As in I am sweating though I already opened the window. I have been sweating almost the entire day here in sunny Spain and it´s not officially summer yet. Grrrrrrrrrrr!! For the past 2 weekends, I have been wearing shorts and skirts. I was concerned about my scars, but I don´t care anymore what others might say about it coz I can´t wear pants anymore coz it´s really so hot. Ohhh my, it´s becoming hotter now..grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It was indeed a bad day for all of us and it was also the description given by my female employer. We (my female employer, me and the 18 month-boy) went to the school to pick up the eldest child. While the eldest child was playing, she dropped and I was far attending the boy. We went to the commercial center afterwards and then another accident happen. We went to the lower part of the grocery store using the escalator and I was bringing the youngest. The eldest was unattended coz the mother was talking on the phone, she got difficulty getting off the escalator and she fall once again. Some women helped the child. And my female employer scolded the child..And few minutes later, we were already on the lower part of the grocery store. My employer kept talking on the phone and I tried putting the small child on the trolley and as I did so, the other child tried to climb to the trolley and so it lost balance since I was not holding it anymore and it fall sideways together with the kid. Ohhh my, I almost lost my consciousness as the child fall and screamed without any sound coz of great pain. An older woman came to help and she kept on bouncing the child,so the voice will come out. As if, most of my energy went out of my body coz I was so scared that my employer will get mad and I was scared too if the head of the child was the one that hit the floor. Thanks God and it was her feet that got the most pain and not the head. My employer didn´t get mad, maybe coz she realized that it was also partly her fault coz she didn´t helped me take care of the 2 children.

But the bad fate didn´t end there. We were already on the car on our way home. My employer was driving in the garage passage towards the exit as a car suddenly got out of the way without seeing us. So tale part of the car hit the front part of my employer´s car. My employer went out screaming of anger and the young driver insisted it was not his fault. My employer was so mad coz her car is very new, a gift she received from her husband on her 35th bday last April. There were ugly scratches on the side of the car.

Thanks God we arrived safely here at home. But I felt really weak out of nervousness. Thanks God and I am already ok now.

another sleepless weekend..

Argggg, 3 weekends in a row that I have been sleepless (and my roommates too). We were still busy arranging our new place and thanks God that it´s already more or less in order now. There are still few things to be done in the house, but it´s only minor things now. We are really looking forward for the complete order of the house, so that we can already relax. Hopefully, this weekend, we can already do that. But even if not all things will be fixed this weekend, we already decided to go to "pasa-pasa", a filipino restaurant with videoke, this Saturday to unwind and we are all excited about it.:)

But I have a sad story to tell : I gained weight (though it didn´t go back to the usual 56kg., but I got heavier than 52kg., but I am not sure about the exact weight coz I haven´t weighed myself yet. But all my ates made the same comment last weekend that I got bigger. Argggggggggg, so frustrating, but I can´t blame them coz I have been so careless about my food intake last week. So now, I am trying to discipline myself once again. But no worries coz it´s still manageable though. Not yet time to research for the best diet pill available in the market,hehehe.

Yeheyyyy, my roommates and I are so happy coz we already moved to our new place near La Ramba. The house is way bigger than the old one in Barceloneta and our room is way bigger than the old one. The house is so spacious..We started sleeping there on Saturday even if the things were not yet arranged. Thanks God and we had the Monday free and we were able to do more arranging. The house is more or less in order now. A little bit of arranging this weekend and the house will be totally organized already. Thanks God and people from our CFC-FFL community are always there to help and they made the moving easier.

I was so busy in the weekend due to the moving, thus, the lack of posts here and in my other blogs. Plus, the wireless connection in the house is not functioning yet and my usb connection was also malfunctioning last weekend, so I was not able to blog or check my emails.

I was tired from the moving too, that´s why I prefer to sleep and just stare at the ceiling than blog,hehehe. Glad and I have some energy to blog tonight.:)

Layout disaster...

Arggggggggg, I was so upset last Friday for tweaking this blog that resulted into its LO disaster. As you can observe, the LO is already different. I tried applying something on the HTML after reading a trick in the net, but so stupid of me coz I didn´t save the old template before doing the change (I felt so sure that it will work as if I am a computer genius,grrrrrrr) and pressed publish without having 2nd thoughts. And viola, the LO changed into the very 1st LO I used 2 years ago. So, I went to bed very frustrated. And on Saturday morning, while my employers were away, I hurriedly opened my lappy and changed the LO into this (much better than the other one). I will change it later today and I just hope that I made a copy of my LO in my Acer lappy, if not, then it means I have to start from scratch in designing this blog.:(

Barça - European Football Champion!

Yohoooo, I am so happy coz Barcelona Football Team, FCB, is the European Football Champion for 2009 and they played against Manchester United. The game just ended and the surrounding is very noisy with shouting and fireworks and my roommate said that it´s more noisy in Barcelona.

I should admit that I am a Barça fan-in-the-making,hehehe. I don´t care about football before, but since I started working here in my new employers, my male employer is so crazy about Barça team and his shout of cheers when Barça plays encourages me to watch the games too.

My male employer watched the game at his brother´s house together with other close friends. For sure , they are so happy and so noisy in there,hehehe. He said the game will start at 10pm, but I was late in opening the TV. I already heard shouting from the neighbors and when I finally switched on the TV, Barça already scored 2 points. So, all I saw were replays of how they scored. The game ended at 2 - 0. And since Barça won the Championship, it means that someone owes me dinner,hehehe. I´ll tell you about it in a separate post.:)

Yeheyyy, 2 more days and it´s finally weekend and I am so excited coz I´m gonna be free from work,:) I am always excited for the weekend to come so I can relax and unwind from work. This weekend will be an extra exciting coz we are going to have our SFL household (hh) prayer meeting in our boarding house and it´s gonna be just us, sisters:) And then, we will also start moving our things to our new place which is near the center of Barcelona. By the end of the month, we will be staying at our new place. And we are all giddy to move coz the new place is so huge, 4 to 5 times bigger than our place in Barceloneta, that´s why we are all excited. We will have a huge place where we won´t feel that our space is limited and we can now move without inhibition. Yeheyyy thanks God.

Unchanging Love is the title of the wedding special of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo that was shown yesterday in Pinas. My roommate, Ate R., told me that the coverage was already available at PinoyChannel, so we hurriedly went to the site and watched the videos. But too bad and only the 1st vid out of 11 played. The rest can´t be opened. So we went to bed frustrated.:(

Thanks God and the videos are already ok now and I just finished watching the entire coverage. I am so "kilig" until now and I am so happy for both of them. I am a big fan of Judy Ann since my elementary days. It´s a simple, yet very unique wedding.

Now, I can go to bed with a smile in my face and perhaps it wil trigger me to dream of "my wedding",hehehe.

Ohhh my, I was so ashamed after Florean "my 1st cousin in Norway) told me how she knew about my blog posts. She told me that the post title of the day for my blog appears on my YM status. What??? Are you sure?? Ohhh my, I really felt so ashamed for not knowing about it and I felt that I am from a different generation... a very old generation:( It just shows that I am no lnoger updated about the latest news. :( I am seeing the blog posts of my blogger friends in their YM profile and I thought that it´s because they made some program sychronizing their blog with their YM. And Florean said that my blog posts still appear on my TM even if I am invisible. And I was able to confirm it as my friend in Norway sent me a pm in YM telling me that good for my brother and he´s already home and that she enjoyed reading my blog. And I even replied to her, which blog are you reading? The one at Friendster? Obviously, my friend saw my blog posts too in my YM status that´s why she knew that my brother is going home already..

On the other hand, I was happy coz it means that I have an avid reader,hehehe. Since Florean said that she´s been reading my posts, especially when I don´t have a permanent net connection yet, that´s why she´s still updated about me even if we were no longer chatting constantly.

And this discovery encourages me to improve my writing to make my avid reader/s (with and s if someone´s constantly visiting me too aside from Florean,hehehe) come back for more.:)
