Dear blog readers, I am going to share my clinical experience of treating some severe common cold and flu cases from now i.e. July 29, 2017. On July 27, 2017, I saw first case of severe common cold/flu. This was a robust healthy adult male who came to me complaining of high fever last night and severe back and upper body pains. Upon asking, he told me he get sense of scratchy throat in day, by evening he was having mild runny nose, and early night he developed headache and in mid night he started to have high fever with chill and body aches. A few months ago I accepted a case of cerebral atrophy to treat/manage with homeopathic medicines. The stool may be changing every time. 4. Pulsatilla: This medicine can be indicated in if there is too much heat in the cloudy environment with history of recent diet change consisting of rich food and fruits in excess like Natrum Sulph. A young man Mr. Anis contacted me for his problematic penis. His penis does cause pain upon erection. Penis does get erect without reason if he sits in chair or car for rather long period of time. Dear blog reader, I again here with my weekend case diary for 10 June, 2017. I am posting only one case this time I had gave too much time on photo work done above. I had treated many cases of Urticaria (पढ़े प्यार में धोखा के बाद पित्ती उछलना)very easily, but recently got a tough case. This case was of a 35-year-old emaciated anemic female. I found her very impatience. Her gestures and talking were so that she is saying cure her at once and complaining why previous doctors did not cure her. She was having itchy red areas for last six months. She was taking treatment without permanent cure. She had allopathic medicines with her, which were antihistamine and steroids. I told her that recent studies had shown no effect of steroids on urticaria so she can use only antihistamine if she had severe itching. On first visit, she complained she is having so much itchy red eruption and upon asking show me any. She looked at her arms and legs but found nothing to show. On second visit, she was still unable to show me any area of redness. I reviewed with her the possible causes of her Urticaria. She was not taking any medicine. Dear blog readers, I am again here with my this week clinical experience. This week I mainly saw people having muscle cramps, indigestion, diarrhea, dysentery, and other infectious diseases. The cases given below I found worthy to share with you. Leucorrhoea: A 19-year-old girl came to know best medicines for leucorrhoea as she is having this for last years and tried so many treatments without any improvement. Her main symptoms were lumpy leucorrhoea and profuse thick white leucorrhoea. Her leucorrhoea starts four days later after the menses are over. Her leucorrhoea stops 4 days before her period. She is having painless vaginal discharge, which is bland in nature. She asked me about best tonic for anemia. I inspected her eyes and found her anemic. I reviewed with her some best anemia tonics with her as well as foods rich in irons. I review for her the use of napkin during periods. She does notice vaginal discharge after urination. Upon asking any other problem she does regularly face, she said doctor please tell me best medicines for painful menses too. After 10 days, I give him Thuja 1M stat dose only and waiting his revisit.

Pityriasis Alba सेहवा: This 15-year old boy was having loss of pigmentation from face for last three months. I diagnosed him to have severe pityriasis alba. He had maltreated it with various creams and his condition was getting worse and worse. On the basis of suppression of skin eruptions with ointment, I gave him Sepia 30 and Sulphur 30. He argued me to give some cream; I review with her the use of creams versus internal healing of body. I told him that I am giving him best medicine for सेहवा i.e. pityriasis alba. After 20 days of treatment, his loss of pigmentation came back to normal and he was very very happy with the result.

Dear blog reader I am here again with weekend case diary for May 27, 2017. This week I saw few interesting cases, which I am going to share few cases with you. Face Discoloration: A 35-year-old lady was having bluish brownish blackish skin discoloration of her face for last three years. Her facial discoloration got worsened over the time despite aggressive treatment. Her skin get more dark in winter. She noticed much worsening during winter season each year. These lesions are progressively spreading to neck and arms. She recently noticed that the lesions started to have some itching, which was absent earlier. I gave her Sulphur 30 water dose and revisit in 15 days. I had treated a similar case few years ago, but this lady is different from her. In that case, I found that lady to very loquacious and living happily one. I tried lots of medicine on her and advised her to talk less as much as possible and drink lots of water. Finally, she gets fair color of skin and was very happy with the long-lasting result. She recently brought a new patient to me with cold drinks. Update 3 June, 2017, this patient did not visit again yet. Update 7 June, 2017, this lady came today and I review with her the diagnosis of Berloque dermatitis. I showed them few photographs of this disease and they were satisfied with the diagnosis. They also recalled that her problem initially started with use of a new fairness cream. I advised her to not use any cosmetic cream and avoid sun exposure as much as possible. I gave her Natrum Mur 30 water dose.

Eczema एक्जिमा A 22-year-old pregnant lady came with husband for a skin disease, which they wrongly know as दाद Daad (ringworm). I asked them how it started. They reported it started as an itchy papule, which upon scratching discharged some fluid and soon some few more papules developed. Husband told that he went to a local allopathic medical store and said please give me any good medicine for दाद. The chemist gave him Ring guard, which gave wife temporarily relief and as soon as she stops the ring guard her itchy eruptions comes more severely. Husband again do bought same and again clearing of lesions but once again came back severely. In this pattern, she applied about 12 creams over the last six months. I told them they had made the condition very complicated by this kind of self-medication. I asked about the itching. She replied she does have more itching during day and when she works in kitchen or when her body gets heated. She does get relief from cold bathing. I confirmed the diagnosis of eczema, which got worse by hormonal changes caused by pregnancy and wrong medication. I assessed the temperament of the lady as irritable and careless. She reported she does like to scratch the lesions very much but not so excessively. She also reported it burns after the scratching. Her whole lower abdomen, buttock, and thighs had affected with eczema. I asked whether any other family member had any skin problem. They replied none recently. I advised them to stay with homeopathic treatment for best result. I gave her Sulphur 30 water dose and Psorinum 1M water dose and asked them to return next Friday.

Psoriasis: This patient is a regular patient of mine over the last few years. He did have very bad scalp psoriasis that I had treated very successfully with homeopathic medicines mainly Ars Alb, Antim Crud, and Mezerium. He had started to have psoriatic lesions on her scalp at the age of 40+. He started homeopathic treatment and after two years of treatment his lesions got disappeared and he stopped taking homeopathic medicines. After two years of remission, his psoriasis came again and this time he visited to me to get treated. I started the treatment and gradually his scalp psoriasis cleared and remained cleared for about 4 years and he used to take homeopathic medicines randomly from me. Last time, he came to me and showed his back, which had psoriatic lesions for last 15 days. He does have mild itching in the lesions especially in afternoon and evening. Recently an young lady contacted me via email asking about possible homeopathic help for neck and shoulder pain and stiffness throughout the day (more as soon as wake up in the morning), heaviness and pain in hands and feet and legs, headaches, pulling pain inside the mouth near my gums, pulling pain near the outside of ears sometimes ears become hot and red outside, legs making sounds while walking, frequent constipation. Upon asking how these symptoms started, she replied, “Back in June 2016, all of a sudden while walking carrying my then 6 month old baby, I had a chest pain and hyperventilated. Thought it was heart related and rushed to emergency during which I was told that I had costochondritis then my primary care provider prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 5 mg and said it might be due to tight chest / rib cage muscle and right shoulder and upper back muscle spasms. Used only few tabs because I was breastfeeding, then pain was there but was bearable. Since last 2 months, I had unbearable pain and stiffness in the upper back, neck, shoulders and weak arms and legs with occasional lower back near tailbone. Then doctor ordered MRI and X-Ray and confirmed it is arthritis in neck.

Her MRI shows small posterior central disc protrusion at C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels causing mild narrowing of the spinal canal at these two disc levels. No other abnormalities are seen. In my first reply, I advised her that she should take Arnica 6C 4 pellets three times a day until I computerized her details. Few days later, she mailed me marked improvement in her condition with the use of Arnica 6c. Silicea, Natrum Mur, Calc. Jaundice Responded Well to Homeopathic treatment

Dear blog readers this week was average for me. I had seen few interesting cases, which I am going to share with the world.

Headaches: I had seen this week two mid thirties ladies with severe headache. The first lady Mrs. S. Awasthi was having severe left sided headache since last 6 years. Whenever she does get episode of headache it never gone without taking medicine. She will be in severe pain until she takes painkillers. No home remedies or other measures can stop it. She does have vomiting and dim vision with these episodes of headache. She is married for three years with good married life. She does have low-grade fever at times with these episodes. Her menstrual cycle is regular. She does recall that before attack she does have tendency to get angry and irritated. Her blood pressure was 90/70 and was bit anemic. Her headaches are throbbing in nature involved mainly left side including eyes. Her headaches are worse by sunlight and lying down. She does get bit relief from cold water bathing. She does sleep at lot and does drink little water usually. I prescribed her few medicines naming Chamommila 30, Ipecac 30, and Sangunaria 30 as needed and she had reported there is bit relief. I encouraged her that if she continues homeopathic treatment homeopathically she will be better and better. I also advised her strongly to drink more water. The second lady, Mrs. P. Devi, also was having severe chronic episodic headache with fever, vertigo ameliorated by lying down, and loss of appetite to such extent that she does not want to see the food. Her blood pressure was 100/80 and was anemic. I gave her Ars Alb 30 and Gels 30 as needed. She also reported mild improvement since started taking medicine. I also encouraged her to visit again and again and she will get more and more relief from her migraine headache. Update, 3 June, 2017, none of these patient visited again in dispensary.

Acne: A 40-year-old lady Mrs. U. Singh came with her husband for inflammatory papules on face for last one year despite being properly treated by a skin specialist. These papules do leave black spot behind which makes her face very bad. I asked about other problems and they said doctor please treat it first. I explained them homeopathic system of medicine treats the patient not the disease so you have to tell your all other problems to get best results for your main problem. Upon this, she told she does have a mole on scalp and hair loss surrounding the mole. She also does have calves cramp since one year. She also does have high blood pressure, but does not take any medicine for it as it is not so high. She does get irritated easily and get headaches afterward. Upon asking her menses, she revealed that it is bit heavy with clots usually for many years, but she does not have taken any treatment for this. She does have burning during urination at times. I measured her blood pressure, which was 130/90. Upon asking, she accepted that she does have tendency to easy bruising. This female was a tall fair colored beautiful lady. I gave her Phosphorus 30 and Carbo Veg 30 and Berberis Aquafolium Q to apply on the black spots. Lastly, I advised to them to improve their married life and spend much time with each other for best results. Update, 3 June 2017, this lady visited today and was very happy her face got cleared up nearly about 90%. Now her main complaint is night leg pains, which renders her from sleep. I gave him Bryonia 200 bd to see whether it works or not for her .

Sciatica: Another case I would like to share was of an old gentleman who was having very severe sciatica for last three days who was brought to me by a regular patient of mine. I advised the old gentleman to get 48 hours of complete bed rest and gave him Arnica 1M stat does, Bryonia 30, and Berberis Vulgaris Q 10 drops tds. He returned lately in the week and thanked very much as he got tremendous relief and asked whether he need to take more medicines or not. I advised him to take it for at least 10 days more and start practicing yoga after 10 days.

Jaundice: Lastly, I would like to share the case of a young man whose eye photo I had posted in the started of the diary. This very severely jaundiced young man came by own on cycle. I asked for how many days he is having this. He replied for last 10 days. I asked any pain anywhere. He replied about 12 days before he had pain in the abdomen. I asked to locate the area and he located the liver region. I asked about weakness. He said in starting he was severely weak so why can’t able to come to me and get treated locally and now he is bit better so came to me to get treated. I measured his blood pressure, which was 100/60, pulse 64, and he was mildly anemic too. I examined her abdomen and there was mild abdominal tenderness in the region of liver. His hydration status was good. I asked about appetite, which he revealed it is okay. I also asked about fever. He denied any fever now. I asked about stool, which he revealed not watery. Upon asking about color, he confirmed light colored stool and dark yellow colored urine he is having for many days. I advised him to get rest as much as possible and drink at least 200 gm of Glucon-D, drink boiled water, eat light diet. I suspected this man is having infective jaundice probably hepatitis A. I gave him few homeopathic medicines naming Bryonia 30, China 30, Chelidonium 30, and Carbo Veg 30. I advised him if he does not feel better in next one day then go to near CHC and get properly investigated. Five days later, this patient returned and reported 50% improvement in the sense of well being though he did not follow my advice to drink glucose and take plenty of rest. I again strongly advised him to do so. Update 3 June, 2017, this patient did not come yet, I will collect information about his health soon.

When I first saw this child’s face, my first impression was Melasma. I am seeing such skin discoloration in a young boy for first time so I was bit confused and does not wanted to make any hurry. Generally melasma is caused by an increase in tyrosinase activity found in melanocytes of skin. This boys skin discoloration pattern was very similar to centrofacial melasma. I inspected the patch with magnifying glass and found his discoloration is deep so it is the case of dermal melasma. Dermal melasma is much difficult to treat and it spreads more easily. As you can see, the lesions of this boy is not typical brown, it is blue-black too, which is another indication of dermal melasma. In epidermal melasma, we can see a layer of dirty brown layer, which seems can be rubbed off. Generally, melasma is associated with hormonal treatment and any other medication, but in this case there was no medication use and he is having this problem since last summer and this time it is worse again. Ultraviolet light of sun makes melanocytes very causing worsening of melasma in summer.

I also tried to differentiate it from allergic dermatitis, but the parents and patients denied any symptoms of allergy, but they admit that boy’s eyes tend to be injected at times. There was no itching or discharge or any other sensation in the patches so I confirmed the diagnosis of dermal melasma. I also asked any other problems the child may have to rule out any underlying serious condition, which may be causing any hormonal misbalance. It may be possible that excessive use of herbicide and pesticide, leaky gut, poor diet, etc is possible cause for this boy.

Impetigo

Impetigo is a bacterial infection of superficial skin. It mainly affects children with weak immunity. It mainly affects face with yellow crusty eruption. There is pain and ulceration and bleeding at times. Generally, there is no fever but in severe cases there can be fever. A 14-year-old boy was brought to me for (1) difficult walking (2) weak legs (3) lack of coordination (4) right sided neck pain on neck movement (5) chronic constipation (6) muscle twitching of upper extremities, aggravation from lifting . Upon asking how these symptoms started, family members told that the child had a fall injury landing on head few years ago since then he had started to have these problems and increasing over time. A 35 year old lady came to me with sore throat, chest pain, scanty menses, body aches, heaviness, fever with chills, pain in nape of neck, yellow vaginal discharge and cystic acne. A 35 year male come with (1) back pain (2) left quadrant abdomen pain+tenderness (3) heaviness in upper abdomen after eating(4) fatigue/bodyaches (5) frequent urination with thin stream since having back pain. He describes having back pain since May 2016. His back pain is worse while lying on back and has to change position frequently if he lies on back. His pain is also worse by prolonged sitting. Sometimes feels feverish if he sits for long period of time. Walking makes his pain better. I tested him for heel walk toe walk and straight leg raising; all were normal. On first visit I gave him Arnica 30, Rhus Tox 30 Aconite 30 and Bell 30.

A 28-year-old female came to me with diagnosis of chronic cervicitis by a gynecologist but no permanent cure. I asked about the problems she was having. She replied she does have episodes of thin watery discharge along with pain in lower abdomen for about fives days per months for many years. Gallstones are very common problem these days so I decided to share my deep knowledge and experience here in this article about gallstones.

Pre-Diagnosis Symptoms: There will be history of bouts of mild indigestion in the form of self limiting diarrhea, self limiting vomiting, and self limiting abdominal discomfort/pain especially after heavy rich meals which may followed by loose yellow white or green oily light weight stools which floats in commode. People thinks it may be due to over eating or some impurity in food and skips few meals or take some treatment for few days without having ultrasound and things back to normal very soon.

Symptoms During Severe Acute Attack: Generally after heavy meal patient feel constant pain not relived by anything and patient does not find relief for a minute so constant pain. There will be constipation or very little stool initially and after the pain subsided without proper treatment there will be again yellow white or green light weight fatty loose stool which floats in commode. People and even doctors think that the pain and problems are due to acidity which will be more worse by eating painkillers so they try only antacid and anti-spasmodics if available, but theses medicines do not give enough relief. The patient then generally brought to emergency room and upon ultrasound it comes out cholecystitis due to cholelithiasis(Gallstones).

Causes/Reasons: There are many causes some of which are common and lots of uncommon. I will discuss here only common ones which are lack of exercise, obesity, and poor gut bacteria. Lack of exercise makes all thing sluggish and cause fat deposition everywhere and causes increasing population of bacteria that feeds mainly fat. These fat feeding bad bacteria destroys bile salts and bile acids so that the eaten fat cannot be digested and remain available for bad bacteria. Thus in this way there is gradual decrease in bile acids/salt in system and increase of cholesterol in body system which goes to intestine as well as to gallbladder which many times turn out into cholesterol stones.

Management: It will depend upon severity of symptoms. If very severe then the first thing is nothing per mouth for 2-3 days and IV nutrition should be given. If patient is tolerating well the attack and vitals are stable then juices and liquid diet should be given for at least 2-3 days. Patient should not drink milk or eat any milk products and should not eat eggs. First 3 days no oil should be taken. No nuts. No chocolate. If symptoms are too bad and vitals are not stable then people should take antibiotics+antiinflammatory+bile salt supplements.

Food To Avoid: Fried foods including snack, Whole Grains especially gram grains and wheat grains. If you feel any discomfort or gas in the abdomen after breakfast or lunch then skip next meal and only take more water and juices and fruits.

Food To Take: Drink water as much as you can. Make habit of drinking at least 4 glass of water before tea or breakfast in the morning, Apple, Lemon, Green Beans I.e. Lobiya, Beet, Vinegar especially apple, pears, papaya, and pineapples. Use coconut oil for cooking and take raw extra light olive oil as salad or put it in your food in very little amount initially and very slowly increase the amount but never exceed to one spoon with a meal. One can also eat raw coconuts also if olive oil is not available. Try to take small meals. Start with half roti (Indian home made bread). Try to take six meals a day initially and for about 2 months.

Homeopathic Management And Treatment: There are many homeopathic medicines which can manage and treat these problems successfully. I found these homeopathic medicines useful: Chelidonium majus, China, Lycopodium, Dioscorea, Belladonna, Magensia Mur, Berberis Vulgaris, Cholsterinum, Phosphorus, Podophyllum, Nux Vomica, Calc Sulph, and Pulsatilla.

When opt for Surgery: If you have recurrent pain i.e. once a month then it would be wise to opt for Surgery.

A menopausal obese female looking older than her actual age contacted me for treatment. She does not talk a lot and remained worried most of the time while in the dispensary.
