Gift of Art: Artist and Artisan Show & Sale

On Saturday July 10, 2010 A Gift of Art hosted their one of a kind Artist & Artisan Show and Sale at Bond Head Beach, in Newcastle.
It was a gorgeous day at Bond Head Parkette, right on Lake Ontario. The CMM/Clarington Tourism booth was located at station #1... right at the entrance! Being most participants first stop of the day really helped to draw in the crowds, and boy did we draw them in as you can see in the following photos.
Marketing Minds Members such as Cedar Creek Studio, The Spruce Tree Interiors, The Hampton's Bed & Breakfast, Gallery on the Farm, Archibald Orchard's & Estate Winery, Model A Acres, and the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington were all kind enough to lend some of their amazing merchandise for the Tourism in Clarington booth.
We had a plentiful display of local tourism products/materials, which were awed by all who passed by. At the end of the day we left the event with a much lighter load as everyone was eager to scoop up our various hand-outs, business cards, and pamphlets. All of our Family Adventure Tour Maps were taken and we even had to keep refilling the Christmas in Clarington brochures, as they were very popular!
