I don't know what Hollywood moms do to their body. I mean, it seems as if they've shed all the fat together with their babies. I think it isn't happening in normal people's world. And here is Beyonce, just a month after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter. The world is so unfair.

Anyway, this post is not really about awesome post-baby bodies.

This is about Beyonce's Christian Louboutin 'Devidas 140mm' embroidered pumps from the brand's Spring/Summer 2012 collection that I featured last December.

Aperlai leather and snakeskin slingback platform sandal

This rather futuristic slingback sandal by Aperlai is so unique that its thumbnail image intrigued me so I had to take a closer look. It is made of leather and snakeskin that makes up the upper.

The inner side is exposed to create a different silhouette. Its heel measures 125mm while the platform is 25mm.

Of course, a unique footwear like this should be worn with leg baring dresses. If this fancies you, you can have it for $760 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

I am infatuated with this shoe... look at it! It is in turquoise--which happens to be one of my favorite colors. It has a towering 5 1/2-inch heel and 1 1/2-inch platform. The ankle strap is too sexy (I only wish I have mile long legs) and the cute peep toe is perfect to show off gorgeous pedicure.

Wow! I think a biker chic should own this... that is if she has two thousand grands to spend. I am actually amazed at how the people behind the McQueen house maintains the style Alexander was known for. And although I am not a biker chic but has money to spend, I would definitely buy this.

Elizabeth Banks wowed the crowd with her head to toe gold look during the premier of Man On A Ledge in Hollywood, California. She wore an Emilio Pucci short sleeve dress with a sexy back cutout that she complemented with Jimmy Choo tube clutch and uber sexy Christian Louboutin 'Lady Max' spiked sandals.

The eye-catching sandals was even emphasized because of her sexy (no veins, mind you) feet with pink colored toenails (no cracks and chips).

I love wedge sandals! They are my go-to footwear whenever I feel lazy or whenever my feet hurt from wearing stilettos. (I think I've told you before that my feet hurts more whenever I wear flats.) Whether it's peep toes or sandals... wedges help me make it through the day.

It's such a sad thing when bad shoes land on good people. It's sadder when those good people are known to have good taste in shoes... like Cameron Diaz. She usually wears kick ass shoes except for this one instance during Christian Dior show in Paris Fashion Week Paris (of all places and event). From the ankle up, she's flawless. This moccasin made me nostalgic. It reminded me of the days when I was still a medicine student... those days when I would sleep for only four hours to study, those days when my friends and I would hang out on the parking lot of a supermarket just for the heck of doing it, spending the whole day in front of a cadaver to study anatomy, those days when the hippest cellphone is a Nokia 3210 with a ringtone maker (the first one of its kind). *Side note: You can still create your very own ringtone at mobile17 if you no longer have a "vintage" cellphone. Wink.*

Those were the days! I miss all of those!

A few days ago, I was telling myself to go back to school, take a master's degree... that I need it in my future endeavors. And each time I think about studying again, it reminds me of my medicine days. Although short, it was one heck of an experience. And if I'd go back in time, I'd choose to go back to the days when I wore white uniform and a white moccasin while I carry with me tons of notes and 3-inch thick books that I should finish reading before the semester ends.

If there is one thing I regret not doing, it is finishing my medicine course. It will always be my number one frustration.

She looked so pulled together so I was impressed, until, the wind blew on my face and I felt I was given Manny Pacquiao's left hook. She smelled so bad that I had to move several seats away from her. It's just then that I noticed that every one who sat beside her moved to other seats after a while. What a turn off!

My pretties, no matter how good you look but if you smell bad, it ain't gonna work. It's the worst fashion faux pas... worse than wearing neon from head to toe and more horrifying than wearing a shress (sheer dress). If you please, do not forget to spritz cologne or perfume. This summer or spring, it's nice to wear fresh scents like vanilla, green tea, strawberry or apple perfume... yummy!

It is not the brand that caught my attention, it's the words horn heel that did. It didn't say in the product description whether the 5-inch heel is actually made of horn. And if it is a horn, it perfectly complemented the old and rustic feel of the upper. From the side stitches and to the T-strap... it looks like a 'modern' medieval shoe.

New Shoes: Charles & Keith platform sandals with golden heels

I treated myself today with a pair of gorgeous Charles & Keith sandals. No guilty feelings here because I think I deserve to have another pair for working so hard this year. I actually got an award for being one of the top 10 department heads of the year.

And, this sandal is on sale. I bought it for only $16. It has 5" (I think) golden heels and platform. Its upper is made of brown crisscross leather with buckle on the sides. This is a size 41 (I am a size 40) yet it fits like a glove... which makes me think... are shoe sizes getting smaller or it is just my feet that's getting bigger?
