Reading the new updated article posted on Monday, February 06, 2012 | 9:10:00 AM posted by Caroline Halpin, AdSense Optimization Team titled Watch our video to learn how to integrate AdSense ads with your quality content; really helpful in understanding of how to integrate one's site quality content and the AdSense Ads placements.

Anyhow, she emphasizes publishing quality content be the first thing must take place (Content is King) and for sure the key reason behind it is to get more traffic. As the norm thing that is well understood, without traffic to one's site AdSense Ads will be useless. Seems like having a quality taxi without getting paying passengers (no revenue).

In this video embedded below, it's very obvious the explanation focus on using F-Pattern method for AdSense Ads placement on one's site; claimed more effective in getting high revenue completely with fully utilizing the various AdSense Ads types e.g. Leaderboard, Square or Rectangle, and Skyscraper.

In this case, I got one big question! How bout for AdSense Publishers who used Blogger platform with the new Dynamic Views template? They got now chance to customize the template layout! I mean to add their own AdSense Channel HTML code like what can be done using "Add Gadget" on Blogger old template.

One Click Optimizer and Optimization Lab

Thanks to AdSense for providing the two (2) sites; One Click Optimizer and the Optimization Lab. These both "tools" really making a publisher easily understand about the best ad locations, formats performance, and also optimizing revenue.

In the One Click Optimizer, I can select for the following; News Site, Classifieds Site, Game Site, Forum, and Blog.

In the Optimization Lab, I can select for the following specifically to boost my ad performance and revenue; Increase CTR, Boost Impressions, Lift the CPC, AdSense for search Optimization, and also for More Resources.

These suggestions really helpful because I like it so much for my self-experimenting the given steps. In fact, I changed for every quarter of the year using different methods to observe the "Cause and Effect", as I firmly believed that it is also depends on the site content/article category.

My hope in immediate future, Google Search will add up Google For Feed in optimizing Publisher's AdSense For Feed in the current search option list; Everything, Images, Videos, News, Shopping, Books, Places, Blogs, Realtime, and Discussions.

I also hope, the search option list displays all of the search categories without using "more" button. Image embedded below really illustrates for what I meant for the "more" button. Only familiar searcher will click the "more" button.

I am referring this article using the new AdSense interface (beta) in viewing my own AdSense Performance Report. In the Home page, click on the Performance reports tab. Look at the left sidebar, you can see the provided text links for Custom channels, URL channels, and Products; and an another drop down option button.

Listing in the drop down list there are Entire account by day, Entire account by week, Entire account by month, next is line separator continuing listing Ad types, Ad sizes, Bid types, Targeting types, and Ad Units. To ease your understanding from the text explanation, below I embedded an image for how it looks like;

What I want to share here is the interesting part about Targeting types because it shared data about Placement, Contextual, and Interest-base. From this point, we can learn more about each data section, by clicking on the text link for Placement, Contextual, and Interest-base; and for each of it we can click View button to analyze Custom channels and Products generating more earnings.

I liked much this type of announcement published on Google Inside AdSense Official Blog through an article posted by Sheeba Eustachius - AdSense India on January 25, 2011 (9:25:00 AM), A success story made possible by AdSense.

Amit and Anurag (Co-founders of CarDekho.com) had created success story completely shared the fruitful methods/steps of monetizing their site using AdSense, where all publishers throughout the world can learn the true story from the real people through significant result speaks itself.

So far, there are million of articles published on internet (including mine) but mostly based on theory with no document material type of statement on earnings. Although, Amit and Anurag success story published without any earnings statement, but the result announced and verified by AdSense India.

Should AdSense announce every champion in every quarter of the year?

I think it is the right time for AdSense to consider my question as a proposal for approval, so that all publishers can learn and take advantage from the shared success story. For sure, there will be different steps/methods implemented by “champion” publisher in every quarter.

As you all know that Google Affiliate Network endorsed under AdSense program, so now is to think about how to introduce and implement your own unique and creative campaigns as an approved Publisher to your selected Advertisers.

There are two (2) strategic parts that a Publisher must go through. The first part is to get traffic to the published ad campaign. I think it's not a hard nut to crack, as many Publishers now knew and discerned themselves how to optimize search engines (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and also social media optimization (SMO) or may be by using AdWords. The only hard part is the second part, which is to initiate conversion. In other words, to turn the traffic into purchaser(s) that lead into sale so that from the successfully sale transacted or done able to convert it, be as the Publisher's sale commission earning.

In this article, honestly speaking, I can't share the method of how to get and increase conversion rate because from the data shown in my connectcommerce account (Michael Dadona Sales), I am still fail to make any conversion from the incoming thousands of traffic. The only thing or part I want to share here is how do I get many traffic, I mean the methods I used asides of publishing the related Advertisers' online selling products using contextual article via blog posts. I used button clouds, banner clouds, and Google calendar tool. The following are true examples;

Now you can block the displaying "Ads by Google" ad content by category as you wish to have so that all are related to your blog category or theme. For example, your blog is publishing articles related to health category and for sure you want all those ad contents must be in line or in other words relatively subjected to your content. Making your blog visitors are at high tendency to further click the ads and in return you will begetting more earnings for "AdSense for Content".

Here are the steps to activate "Blocking options" feature for your selection to block the irrelevant ad by category. This feature only provided in AdSense Beta Interface and not in Old AdSense Interface.

On the left part, there is Overview section listing Ad review center and Blocking options. There are two options listed under Blocking options; Advertiser URLs and Advanced settings.

At this stage, I understood that any advertiser's ad will be totally in controlled by a publisher, and the feedback given by a publisher also as data collection in the system for further action that would be taken by Google for filtering process in AdWords

For those who want to be as an AdSense publisher can apply here; https://www.google.com/adsense/g-app-single-1. One thing you must know on filling up the "Payee name", once your submission approved you cannot change it later and forever.

By the time of this article composed and published (Dec. 13, 2010), there are six (6) publisher solutions to earn money through AdSense program. Learning to each of it, I think it would be much better for me to share the authentic explanations done by AdSenese Team members in video version as to ease your understanding the details;

1. AdSense for Feeds

I think to explain this part for "AdSense for Content" is not a hard nut to crack for your understanding because you can easily configure it yourself by simply go to your blog "Design" tab, in the "Page Elements" sub-tab page you can click "Add a Gadget". The pop up panel for "Add a Gadget" appears and select "AdSense".

You can imagine for what it's all about by observing the embedded images (below) and compare for what I've published on this page (right-sidebar); skyscraper type of "Ads by Google" with 160x600 dimensions;

4. AdSense for Domains

For this type of earning or revenue is actually for advertisers and it's related to the unused domain with targeted ads. The selected domain must adhere with Google's policies.

My profound learning about this feature, last time I've registered with domain name "synthasite.com" and it's an unverified domain. What is the meaning of unverified domain?, here is the answer for our learning process, today from my true example;

After you have confirmed your settings, selectRecheck Domain from the Actions drop-down menu to have us verify your domain.

So, I register another free domain at co.cc for www.michaeldadonaadsense.co.cc and I straight away back to my AdSense account > AdSense Setup > AdSense for Domains > New Domains; I register michaeldadonaadsense.co.cc as domain name; and the rest of the final steps I followed these instructions given by co.cc site for how to set up; http://www.co.cc/adsense/adsense.php

Estimated Earnings

Your account balance for the time period selected. This amount is an estimate that is subject to change when your earnings are verified for accuracy at the end of every month.

Page views

A page view is what Google counts in your reports every time a user views a page displaying Google ads. We will count one page view regardless of the number of ads displayed on that page.

Clicks

For standard content ads, the number of times a user clicked on an ad. For link units, the number of clicks received by ads on a page resulting from a link click.

Page CTR

The page clickthrough rate (CTR) is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of page views.

Improving your AdSense as a publisher

Last time I felt not so happy with AdSense seemed like invited users to promote ads and pinched with lots of strictly rules. But, yesterday (Dec 8, 2010 1:14 am) I received an email (subscription) from [Inside AdSense] "Improve your AdSense implementation for the holidays", I am very glad reading all the written words and found it's very publisher friendly.

First, we want to remind you that you're allowed to put three standard AdSense for content ad units, three link units, and two AdSense for search boxes on each page of your site.

Although I am "nobody" on internet world, but as a publisher to AdSense advertising program, I want AdSense Team to understand that nowadays there are many advertisers out there (including me) wanted their businesses' ads to be displayed broadly and accordingly to their selections submitted to AdWords.

Many publishers (including me) followed the AdSense Optimization methods or AdSense Activation Demo and we tried to the best level by accordingly follow the modalities provided at Google Checklist. At the same time we found some other unique ways to display AdSense Ad, but after going back to the rules we are not confident to pursue implementing it scared of violating the stipulated rules. The best "additive" is to ad AdSense Ad (three link units) or may be for GAN ad links (Google Affilate Network) which is introduced by Google or OpenSky ad which is introduced by The Blogger Team.

What I found, most of GAN ads really suitable to be placed within paragraphs in one blog post. because the advertisers' offers within the selected days. Selecting the relevant GAN ads matched the content may help much in optimizing the specific ad itself. Matter of fact, it can be changed or replaced accordingly to the specific time related to advertisers' products/offers campaign.

About Displaying AdSense Three Link Units

AdSense three link units also be the important ad element to be added within paragraphs as it's allowed to be embedded or displayed not more than three (3) numbers of link unit on one page if one blog displaying only one number of post.

That's what I understood from the quote section above which is clearly stated about it, for "on each page of your site". For this case, this is the beauty of displaying only one blog post and for the rest published posts I would rather much happier using FeedBurner BuzzBoost (below).

The only weakness point of using AdSense Link Unit, as a blog owner (verified through Google Webmaster Tools), I can't select for which ad to be displayed at the system will automatically display any ad which is relevant to the blog content keywords.

Examples of There Link Units; 200x90, 468x15, and 728x15 (respectively)

I've tried many times to display the three by embedding the respective code in this post, but it didn't work. Very sorry! So and again, is it publisher friendly? AdSense Team (AT) only can provide the answer. May be "on each page" really meant for page (10 pages at blogger.com blog) and not yet for blog post.....!!!!!

Normally, when I visited my AdSense account at the message section it notified me with "No message and you can play outside". But, today I found there is a new message titled; "New AdSense interface now available globally in beta."; from the Google AdSense Team.

Today I am very happy receiving an email from Inside AdSense and reading the article titled ‘Tis the season for placement targeting: Display advertising"

The article led me to another landing page for "What does the future of display advertising look like?". From the listed items and explanations, I found this paragraph/list really edified me to discern and subtilize;

We showed some of the things that are becoming possible with our new Teracent technology.

This technology can dynamically alter the creative elements of an ad in real-time to make it more relevant and effective, depending on factors like geographic location, language, the content of the website and the time of day. - Provenance Link

The words for "more relevant and effective" making my eyeballs glued to the monitor and followed the next words of explanation.

THE DEPENDING FACTORS

Let me explain why I like much to hear and read about Teracent Technology used or commenced by AdSense?

Being as both users in the world of AdSense; publisher as site owner publishing AdSense ad and advertiser as AdWords user; few months back I've participated in AdSense forum and shout out loud about AdWords should provide 'Country Relevancy' button for publisher to select for which country their ad to be published and displayed. Unfortunately, nobody answer to my published post.

This is very important for an advertiser (AdWord user) to drives their ad campaign to a certain country and if possible to a designated state in the selected country related to the product(s) completely direct to the specific target group.

In other words as for an example; you live in the USA, but your selling product originates from China and you want to sell it online to India specifically to Tamil Nadu State. For sure, you want AdSense to display your ad i.e. 'Ads by Google' only for netizens in Tamil Nadu State. Not to the entire world because you'll waste your bidding money per click (AdWords), if the clicker comes from the United Kingdom.

From the above quote, explained by AdSense about "depending on factors like geographic location, language, the content of the website and the time of day.", these are the things I'm waiting for. I think this is the real "Win-Gain-Through Situation" for three parties; Advertiser-AdSense-Publisher, respectively.

A publisher will be much happier because having high probability/possibility in getting more local clickers to the displaying 'Ads by Google' published on their site especially when their site is a local type of content i.e. geographic and language.

After reading its new features about the new CSE, what I found the advantages are; Improved indexing of your pages, Quick and easy updates, Selecting ad location, Site Search, Tuning search results and ads with keywords, and Vertical search.

No need to activate it through other system or leave our existing active AdSense account because CSE is an integration between of Custom Search into "AdSense for Search". These are the steps into it;

Click "AdSense Setup" tab and select "AdSense for Search."

Select the sites you'd like your users to be able to search across (Extra learning.....).

From what I understand the email notification (content) that I received on Sat, Jun 19, 2010 3:12 am from inside-adsense@google.com, as Gmail is related to Google Buzz, it's very important now to place that small button at blogger blog, although we have an alternative to buzz our blog post by clicking the "Share" drop down text link which is located/provided at the blog navigation bar.

Not less to say about YouTube video and Google Maps to be embedded on in the blog post as now many advertisers also do know how to geomap/geotag their advertising properties on Google Maps and Google Earth. After years of been testing how to optimize my AdSense Channel a.k.a "Channel" through my reading the steps shared in "Inside AdSense" and various third parties' sites, finally, I got my own technique of optimizing my Channel. My Channel related to my blogging activity are; AdSense for Content, AdSense for Search, and AdSense for Feed ad.

This particular technique revealed its effectiveness proven when I referred "result speaks itself" after I've linked my AdSense account to my Google Analytics. When we do talking about AdSense campaign effectiveness, nobody can claim they are the hero as it's based on visitor's clicking activity. The one who is the so called hero is the one who earn more money from AdSense advertising campaign on monthly basis.

It's a type of displaying your feed content by publishing this icon (above) where it contained the targeted text and image. Wherever it's viewed and next your site's visitor(s) subscribed, you earn money. The most thing to understand is this ad targeting is optimized for RSS feeds, ensuring relevant, user-friendly ads.

In your blogger.com (example) layout page, do the followings as next steps;

click "Setting" tab (remember I said "Setting" tab and not for "Posting" tab or "Layout" tab or "Monetize" tab)

Step 9 of 12 :
click "Site Feed" text link to paste the FEED URL's form Step 7

Step 10 of 12 :
Must ensure that the "Allow Blog Feeds" selected for "Full"

Step 11 of 12 :
in the "Post Feed Redirect URL", paste the FEED URL's address which copied from Step 7

Step 12 of 12 :
click "SAVE SETTINGS" located at the bottom of the page

BACK TO YOUR FEEDBURNER SITE TO CONTINUE IN GETTING THE FEEDBURNER'S CHICKLET ICON

The following steps is actually a continuation steps from Step 7 in FeedBurner burning process and the followings;

Step 7-i :
click text link for "Skip directly to feed management" which is located next to the "Next >>" button

Step 7-ii :
click "Publicize" tab, located in a row of tabs for Analyze, Optimize, Publicize, Monetize, Troubleshootize

Under the main title for "Publicize Your Feed", focus your viewing for the published content under sub-title "Make it Easy to Subscribe"

Step 7-iii :
click the text link for "friendly graphic"

You'll be brought to "Chicklet Chooser" page and noticed that the radio button has been checked automatically for the STANDARD CHICKLET" icon.

Step 7-iv :
Scroll down to the bottom of the page for this box "Copy the HTML below for use in your own page templates:" You can straight away copy and paste the given FeedBurner's CHICKLET embed code to your blogger.com site page BUT much better you automatically push this code direct to your blogger site by following the next steps;

OBSERVE CAREFULLY THE "Use as a widget in" AND "GO" BUTTON

Step 7-v :
click the option drop-down box and select "Blogger"

Step 7-vi :
click "GO" button

It's a direct sending method where the CHICKLET icon will be embedded on top part in the sidebar page element section. You can drag it later to any location in your blog page elements to wherever place as you wished.

D. What is AdSense for Mobile?
