राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा किसी की भी निजी भूमि, संपत्ति इत्यादि दान स्वरूप स्वीकार नहीं करती

-समस्त भूमि एवं संपत्तियां विधिक तौर पर खरीदी है, उन पर राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा का स्वामित्व है

आगरा। पिछले कुछ समय से कुछ स्वार्थी तत्व राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा पर अनर्गल, भ्रामक, झूठे और तथ्यहीन आरोप लगा रहे हैं कि ' राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा, दयालबाग आगरा ने सरकारी व अन्य निजी लोगों की भूमि पर कब्जा कर रखा है। यह सब आरोप निराधार, भ्रामक, झूठे और तथ्यहीन है। हम इसका खंडन करते हैं।'

राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा ने समस्त भूमि एवं संपत्तियां विधिक प्रक्रिया का पालन करते हुए कानूनी तौर पर खरीदी हैं और उन पर राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा का एकमात्र स्वामित्व है।

इन सभी संपत्तियों के समस्त विधि अभिलेख, दस्तावेजी प्रमाण राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा के पास सुरक्षित हैं।

यहां यह भी विशेष उल्लेखनीय है कि राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा किसी की भी कोई निजी संपत्ति, भूमि इत्यादि दान स्वरूप कभी स्वीकार नहीं करती है। बहुत सारे अनुयायी एवं अन्य श्रद्धालु समय-समय पर अपनी संपत्ति, भूमि इत्यादि राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा को स्वत: दान देने की प्रार्थना करते हैं। परन्तु सभा उन सभी की प्रार्थना को विनम्रतापूर्वक अस्वीकार कर देती है, स्पष्ट है कि राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा की ओर से इस तरह की कोई भी प्रार्थना कभी स्वीकार नहीं की जाती है।
राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा, दयालबाग आगरा उच्चकोटि की एक उत्कृष्ट पावन धार्मिक संस्था है, जो प्राणी मात्र की सेवा, पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं उत्तम जीवनशैली के लिए विश्वविख्यात है। जिसकी समय-समय पर विश्व प्रसिद्ध हस्तियों, विद्वानों, शिक्षाविद्, नेताओं एवं अन्य धार्मिक संस्थाओं ने भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की है, कर रहे हैं, और को प्रेरणा लेने के प्रेरित करते हैं। राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा दयालबाग आगरा के अनुयायी एवं प्रशासन शान्ति प्रिय लोग हैं, जो
'फादरहुड आफ गॉड एंड ब्रदरहुड आफ मैन' (Father of God and Brotherhood of man) सिद्धांत में विश्वास करते हैं, अमल करते हैं। यह उनकी निस्वार्थ सेवा का ही परिणाम है कि वर्तमान में आगरा शहर के बाकी क्षेत्र के बदत्तर पर्यावरण स्थिति के सापेक्ष दयालबाग क्षेत्र को इसके स्वच्छ और प्रदूषण रहित वातावरण के कारण ' आगरा के फेफड़ों' की संज्ञा दी जाती है। यही वजह है कि आगरा का आम नागरिक, खिलाड़ी, बच्चे और बुजुर्ग प्रतिदिन सुबह इस स्वच्छ और प्रदूषण रहित वातावरण में खुली हवा और बेहतरीन वातावरण में तरोजाता होने को सैर के लिए यहां आते हैं। शहर की तड़क-भड़क और प्रदूषण से दूर सैकड़ों की तादात में लोग यहां की शुद्ध वायु का आनंद लेते हैं और स्वयं स्वस्थ रखते हैं, अपना स्वास्थ्य सुधारते हैं। ऐसा इसलिए संभव हो पाया है, क्योंकि राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा ने अपनी कृषि भूमि का कभी बेजा और व्यवसायिक इस्तेमाल नहीं किया। उनके स्वरूप में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं किया, वहां कंक्रीट के जंगल को नहीं उगाया। पर, राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा यह प्रयास और विचार कुछ लोगों को पसंद नहीं आ रहा है। दयालबाग का शान्त एवं स्वच्छ वातावरण सदैव से ही भूमाफियाओं एवं बिल्डरों को आकर्षित करता रहा है। अपने आर्थिक लाभ को वह यहां पर कंक्रीट का जंगल उगा यहां के वातावरण को प्रदूषित और दूषित करना चाहते हैं।

भू-माफिया व बिल्डर लॉबी अवैध रूप से राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा की जमीनों पर कब्जा कर मल्टी स्टोरी कालोनियां, शापिंग कांपलेक्स का निर्माण कर सके, यहां शांत और प्रदूषण रहित वातावरण को दूषित-प्रदूषित कर अनुचित लाभ कमा सकें। इनका और उनके लोगों का क्षेत्र के विकास से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। इसके विपरीत राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा दयालबाग आगरा ने क्षेत्र के विकास की दिशा की मजबूत कदम उठाए हैं, जिनमें प्रमुख है, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और रोजगार व स्वरोजगार के क्षेत्र में युवाओं को आगे बढ़ाना। उन्हें उच्च और उत्कृष्ट शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य देने के साथ-साथ स्वरोजगार परक शिक्षा देकर स्वालंबी बनाने का काम किया जा रहा है। राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा दयालबाग आगरा द्वारा संचालित सभी संस्थान उच्चकोटि के हैं, जहां राष्ट्र की मजबूती, भावी पीढ़ी के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए सेवाभावना के दृष्टिकोण से कार्य किया जाता है। राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा दयालबाग आगरा और उसके अनुयायी सतसंगी न तो किसी का हक-अधिकार कभी छीनते है और न ही किसी को अपना हक-अधिकार छीनने देते है।

अनुचित लाभ कमाने के लिए दयालबाग क्षेत्र के पर्यावरण को बिगाड़ने, यहां की आबोहवा को बदलने और प्रदूषण फैलाने की नीयत से अवैध तौर-तरीके अपना कर सतसंग सभा की भूमि पर अवैध कब्जा करने की भू-माफियाओं-बिल्डरों की हर कोशिश को कानून सम्मत तरीकों से रोका जाएगा, उन्हें उनके इरादों में कामयाब नहीं होने दिया जाएगा। सभा न्यायप्रिय है और भारतीय न्याय व्यवस्था में पूरा विश्वास रखती है। राधास्वामी सतसंग सभा दयालबाग आगरा कभी भी अपनी भूमि पर ऐसा नहीं होने दे सकती है, न ही इन बिल्डरों के मंसूबे कभी पूरे हो पाएंगे।

However, it's also a journey filled with challenges, especially when it comes to mastering a new language like English. In my own experience, I've encountered barriers that many individuals face when striving to become proficient in a foreign language. Biased judgments and the fear of making mistakes can be paralyzing, inhibiting our progress and confidence.

Building the Foundations: A Multilingual Household

Growing up in a multilingual household, I had a unique blend of languages that surrounded me. My father's strong background from Gurukul Kangri in Haridwar and his Missionary College Education from Madras shaped his proficiency in English and Hindi. At home, my mother conversed only in Telugu, while my father preferred English or Hindi. Despite this rich linguistic environment, I found myself communicating with my father only in Telugu, avoiding English and Hindi due to inhibitions, fear of making mistakes, and self-doubt.

Empowering Voices: The Emergence of School Radio

These experiences inspired me to embark on a journey to create a comprehensive resource for teaching English to children, particularly those in rural, tribal, and semi-urban areas. My goal was clear: to transform language learning into a joyful experience for individuals from diverse backgrounds. From these thoughts, the concept of School Radio emerged. It's a platform that lends voices to children across various backgrounds, allowing them to create their own content without bias, judgment, or fear.

A Lesson in Inclusion: The Impact of an Inclusive Environment

One day, as my husband and I visited a nearby furniture shop, we stumbled upon a small vegetable and fruit shop beside the Udupi-Goa Highway. The shop was managed by two boys, with the younger one weighing our purchases. During our interaction, I began conversing with him in Hindi, not knowing the local language, Kannada. To my surprise, he responded with enthusiasm, revealing his proficiency in four languages: Kannada, Tulu, Hindi, and Konkani. This encounter underscored the transformative impact of an inclusive learning environment that nurtures confidence and proficiency.

ద‌యాల్బాగ్ కేంద్ర కార్యాల‌యంగా ఉన్న రాధాస్వామీ సత్సంగ స‌భ‌, ఆగ్రా-282005, (Murar Declaration 13.06.2010) స‌హ‌కారంతో స్వీహా సంస్థ మ‌ధ్య‌ప్ర‌దేశ్ రాష్టంలోని ఆదివాసీల అభ్యున్న‌తికి, అభివృద్ధికి విశేష‌మైన కృషి చేస్తోంది. రాజ‌బొరారీ ఎస్టేట్ ప‌ది ఆదివాసీ గ్రామాల స‌ముదాయం. ఈ గ్రామాలు అట‌వీ ప్రాంతంలోని స‌హ‌జ వ‌నరులకు ఆనుకునే ఉంటాయి. అట‌వీ, స‌హ‌జ‌వ‌న‌రుల చ‌ట్టం ప్ర‌కారం కేవ‌లం క‌ల‌ప/చెక్క‌కై చెట్ల న‌రికివేతను న‌వంబ‌ర్ 11,2022 నుంచి మ‌ధ్యప్ర‌దేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వానికి దాఖ‌లా చేసింది. మాన‌వ‌సేవే మాధ‌వ‌సేవ అనే దృక్ఫ‌థంగా రాధాస్వామీ సత్సంగ స‌భ‌, దయాల్బాగ్, ఆగ్రా, 1919 నుంచి హ‌ర్ద జిల్లాలోని ఆదివాసీలు, నివాసాలు, వ్య‌వ‌సాయంపై హ‌క్కులు, యాజ‌మాన్యం క‌లిగి ఉంది. స‌ర్వస‌త్తాక, గ‌ణ‌తంత్ర దేశ‌మైన మ‌న భార‌త‌దేశంతో పాటు ఇంగ్లాండ్-వేల్స్‌ల‌లో (సింగ‌పూర్ డిక్లరేష‌న్‌-1971) రిజిస్ట‌ర‌యిన సంస్థ‌గా సేవాభావంతో ఆదివాసీలు ప్ర‌ధాన జ‌న‌జీవ‌న స్ర‌వంతిలో మ‌మేకం చేసేందుకు కృషి చేస్తోంది. వారి సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధికి అంకిత‌మైంది.

రాజ‌బొరారీ ఎస్టేట్‌లో స్పీహా సంస్థ ప్ర‌స్తుతం ప‌ది రోజుల క్యాంప్‌ను ద‌యాల్‌బాగ్ ఎడ్యుకేష‌న‌ల్ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ (డిఇఐ- డీమ్డ్ యూనివ‌ర్సిటీ) భాగ‌స్వామ్యంతో నిర్వ‌హిస్తోంది. వంద‌ల సంఖ్య‌లో ఆదివాసీలు ఈ ప‌ది రోజుల కేంప్ ద్వారా ల‌బ్ది పొందుతున్నారు. ఇందులో ప‌లుర‌కాల సంక్షేమ కార్యక్ర‌మాలైన మెడిక‌ల్ క్యాంప్‌లు, ఆధునిక సాంకేతిక‌త‌ను అందిపుచ్చుకునేందుకు విద్యా సంబంధమైన కార్య‌శాల‌లు, డ్రోన్ సాంకేతిక‌లో శిక్ష‌ణ‌, బాలిక‌ల సెల్ఫ్ డిఫెన్స్ (స్వ‌యం ర‌క్ష‌ణ‌), యువ‌తకు ఉద్యోగ అవ‌కాశాలు పొందేందుకు స‌హ‌యం, వాయు, నీటి నాణ్య‌త‌ల ప‌ర్య‌వేక్ష‌ణ‌, మొక్క‌ల పెంప‌కం వంటి అంశాల‌ను పొందుప‌రిచింది. ప‌లు రంగాల‌లోని నిష్ణాతుల‌ను ఈ కేంప్‌లో భాగం చేసింది. అల్లోప‌తి, హోమియోప‌తి, ఆయుర్వేద వైద్యం అమ‌లును కొన‌సాగిస్తున్న నిపుణులు ఉచిత వైద్యం, ఔష‌దాల‌ను అయిదు వంతుల స్థానిక జ‌నాభాకు ఇప్ప‌టికే ఈ కేంప్‌లో అందించారు.

క్రీడ‌ల‌లో ఆస‌క్తి, ప్ర‌వేశం, అభినివేశం ఉన్న వారిని గుర్తించి, ఈ కేంప్‌లో ప‌లు ర‌కాల క్రీడ‌లలో శిక్ష‌ణ అందిస్తున్నారు. క్రీడ‌ల‌లో పాల్గొన‌డం ద్వారా స‌మాజంలో ఉన్న‌తంగా ఎదిగేందుకు ఓ సాధ‌నంగా ఉప‌యోగ‌ప‌డ‌తాయి. త్వ‌ర‌లో డిసెంబ‌ర్‌లో ప్రారంభం కానున్న ఛీఫ్ మినిస్ట‌ర్స్ క‌ప్ వాలీబాల్ క్రీడోత్స‌వాలలో భాగం తీసుకునేందుకు ప్రోత్స‌హించారు. ఇందుకై స‌హ‌యోగ్‌, సంఘ‌ట‌న్, స‌ఫ‌ల‌తా క‌ప్ కార్య‌చ‌ర‌ణ‌లో భాగంగా ఆదివాసీ గ్రామాల‌లో 36 జ‌ట్ల‌కు శిక్ష‌ణ‌ను అందిచించి, స‌న్నద్ధం చేశారు. ఇక్క‌డ నిర్వ‌హించిన క్రీడా అంశాల‌లో 1200 విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు. బాలిక‌ల‌కు సెల్ఫ్ డిఫెన్స్ లోనే కాకుండా, భార‌త ర‌క్ష‌ణ ద‌ళాల‌లోని పోరాట‌ప‌టిమ పాత్రను కూడా స‌మాంత‌రంగా నిర్వ‌హించారు. విద్యార్థుల‌లో ఆత్వ‌విశ్వాసం, ప‌ట్టుద‌ల‌ను పెంపొందించ‌డం, శారీర‌క‌, మాన‌సిక ఆరోగ్యం మెరుగుద‌ల‌కై సుశిక్షితులైన జ‌ట్టు ఈ కేంప్ లో శిక్ష‌ణ అందించింది.

ఆదివాసీ విద్యార్థుల‌కు ద‌యాల్‌బాగ్ ఎడ్యుకేష‌న‌ల్ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ (డిఇఐ- డీమ్డ్ యూనివ‌ర్సిటీ) ప్రొఫెస‌ర్‌లు ఆధునిక సాంకేతికత‌ను అందిపుచ్చుకునేందుకు కార్య‌శాల‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. అందులో డ్రోన్‌ల‌ను, కంప్యూట‌ర్ల‌ను ప‌లు రకాల అభివృద్ధి కార్య‌క్ర‌మాల‌కి వినియోగించ‌డం, స్థానికంగా వాయు, నీటి నాణ్య‌త‌ల ప‌ర్య‌వేక్ష‌ణ‌ను క్ర‌మం త‌ప్ప‌కుండా నిర్వ‌హించడం ఉన్నాయి.

స్పీహా స్వ‌చ్ఛంద సేవ‌కులు విద్యార్థుల‌కు సీవీ వ్రాయ‌డం, ఇంట‌ర్వ్యూ నైపుణ్యాలతో పాటు ప‌లు కంపెనీల‌ను ఆహ్వానించి, ఉద్యోగ అవ‌కాశాలు పొందేందుకు అర్హులైన విద్యార్థుల‌కు స‌హాయ,స‌హ‌కారం అందించారు.

Overwhelming response to SPHEEHA INTERNATIONAL DRAWING AND PAINTING COMPETITION 2022

It is said that Drawing is a form of visual art that has been used as a specialised form of communication before the invention of the written language, demonstrated by the production of cave and rock paintings around 30,000 years ago. These initial drawings are known as pictograms which depicted objects and abstract concepts. Eventually people used instruments to mark paper or other two-dimensional surface. Today it is the era of Digital drawing where drawings are created using graphics software’s on a computer with the aid of a stylus or finger on a touchscreen device and in some cases a computer mouse. Drawing and painting helps develop fine motor skills, writing, reading, creativity and boost self-esteem in kids. It is also an excellent way for children to express their feelings and emotions and when the expressions are coupled with environmental consciousness, it creates magic.

SPHEEHA – which is a registered NGO in India working towards Environment protection & awareness with chapters across the world, recognised that to educate and make the future generations aware of SDG goals including the concepts of environment conservation, climate change, agroecology and ecology protection, Drawing & Painting would be one the best learning aids. Hence it has been conducting Drawing and Painting competition for kids since 2006.

This year SPHEEHA Drawing and Painting competition was held in partnership with DEI (Deemed University) and in over 180 schools across the country earlier today (30th October). Over 20000 children in 400 locations participating across the globe, with students from every age group and they were allowed to use any form of mediums including digital drawings, supervised by SPHEEHA volunteers.

Most Revered Prof. Prem Saran Satsangi Sahab, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Education (a non-statutory body working as a think-tank for consensus building for Dayalbagh Educational Institutions) on the occasion of SPHEEHA's 17th Drawing & Painting competition noted the remarkable association between SPHEEHA, DEI (Deemed University) & Radhasoami Satsang Sabha, Dayalbagh. He was also pleased to observe that the Charity Commission for England & Wales has incorporated the Dayalbagh Radhasoami Satsang Association of Europe (DRSAE) as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO); which gives recognition and credibility to the genuine charitable work being done by Dayalbagh Radhasoami Satsang Association of Europe. SPHEEHA (a registered NGO in India) is proud to be associated with such an internationally accredited charitable organization.

The main event was held at a veritable abode of peace and tranquillity venue of “Anupam Upvan”, the open-air amphitheater of DEI (Deemed University) built on the lines of Shantiniketan. Hundreds of children sat under the trees and open skies to be inspired by nature and paint their drawings. Director of DEI, Prof. P K Kalra, inaugurated the competition and the kids were jointly supervised by the volunteers of SPHEEHA and staff members of DEI.

There were 5 categories defined by age: Superman A (up to 4 years of age), Superman B (between 4 to 8 years), Junior (between 9 to 12 years), Senior (between 13 to 16 years) and Super Senior (17 years and above). The topics varied from Clean Energy to Environmental Sustainability to Water to Pollution and Agro-Ecology based on the category.

Speaking on the occasion, President SPHEEHA, Mr. Asad Pathan congratulated the children and mentioned that, “It gives immense gratification to see that SPHEEHA’s vision & initiative of green education amongst young children through its drawing and painting competition has grown over the years and the day is not far where-in we see tangible results on the ground in creating an greener and healthier environment.”

Secretary SPHEEHA, Mr. Pankaj Gupta said, “With over 20000 students participating in our 17th International Drawing and Painting Competition held in partnership with DEI (Deemed University) and at the premises of 180 schools is a testimony of the environmental consciousness we aim to create across the society.”

Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar, who is the global event coordinator, thanked all the volunteers and participants for their whole hearted support. He said that, “This year we have gone more inclusive and have covered more schools and regions than earlier. We hope that it would translate into more environmentally sensitive future citizens.”

All participants will be given e-certificates of participation and every category will have 1 first prize winner, 5 second prize winners and 10 third prize winners. A total of 64 prizes will be awarded internationally and 64 prizes will be given in every region. Global results will be announced by end of November 2022.

పదిహేడో అంతర్జాతీయ రేఖాచిత్రాలు, వర్ణ చిత్రాలు, డిజిట‌ల్ చిత్రాలు, కార్టున్‌లు, డూడుల్‌, స్కెచ్‌, పోస్ట‌ర్ల‌ను సృష్టించడం వంటి ప‌లు సృజ‌నాత్మ‌క రంగాల‌లో నాలుగేళ్ల‌ వ‌య‌స్సులోపు వారి నుంచి ప‌దిహేడేళ్లు పైబ‌డిన‌ క‌ళాశాల విద్యార్థుల‌కు స్పీహా సంస్థ అక్టోబర్ 30, 2022 న ప‌లు ర‌కాల ప‌ర్యావ‌ర‌ణ అంశాల‌లో పోటీలు నిర్వహించింది. చిన్నారుల వయస్సు, విద్యార్హత ఆధారంగా నాలుగేళ్ల‌లోపు వ‌య‌స్సు -సూపర్ మెన్ (ఎ); 4-8 ఏళ్ల వ‌య‌స్సు- సూపర్ మెన్ (బి); జూనియ‌ర్ 9-12 ఏళ్ల వ‌య‌స్సు; సీనియ‌ర్ 13-16 ఏళ్ల వ‌య‌స్సు; సూప‌ర్ సీనియ‌ర్ 17 వ‌య‌స్సు పైబ‌డిన విద్యార్థులుగా విభ‌జించింది. ఇలా మొత్తం అయిదు విభాగాల్లో పోటీలు నిర్వహించింది స్పీహా సంస్థ. ఇందులో ఆయా వ‌య‌స్సుల వారికి అనుగుణంగా ఉండేలా అంశాల‌ను ఎంపిక చేసి, పోటీలు నిర్వ‌హించింది. పోటీ అంశాలుః నీటి సంరక్షణ, పచ్చదనం, పర్యావరణ సుస్థిరత, కాలుష్యం, ఆగ్రో ఈకాలజీ, శుద్ధ ఇంధ‌నం, ప‌ర్యావ‌ర‌ణ సుస్థిర‌త‌.

స్పీహా సంస్థ విశాఖ‌ప‌ట్నం చాప్ట‌రు దయాల్ నగర్ కోల‌నీలో డాక్ట‌ర్ రాజేశ్ వెంకట్. ఐ, డిఎం (న్యూరాలజీ), ఆధ్వ‌ర్యంలో పోటీలు నిర్వ‌హించింది. ఇందులో భాగంగా విశాఖపట్నంలోని దయాల్ నగర్ కోలనీలో నిర్వ‌హించిన పోటీల‌లో యాభై ఆరు (56) మంది చిన్నారులు వివిధ విభాగాలలో పోటీల‌లో పాల్గొన్నారు. ద‌యాల్ న‌గ‌ర్ కోల‌నీలోని విద్యార్థుల‌తో పాటుగా, న‌గ‌రంలోని విశాఖ‌వ్యాలీ, హోలీక్రాస్‌, అల్వార్‌దాస్ ప‌బ్లిక్ స్కూల్‌, కేంద్రీయ విద్యాల‌య‌- ఐఎన్ఎస్ క‌లింగ‌, గ్రీన్ డేల్ స్కూల్ విద్యార్థులు ఎంతో కుతూహ‌లంగా, ఉత్సాహంగా ఈ పోటీల‌లో పాల్గొన్నారు.

స్పీహా సంస్థ ద‌యాల్‌బాగ్ ఎడ్యుకేష‌న‌ల్ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ (డిఇఐ- డీమ్డ్ యూనివ‌ర్సిటీ) భాగ‌స్వామ్యంతో ఈ పోటీల‌ను నిర్వ‌హించింది. దేశ‌వ్యాప్తంగా నాలుగు వంద‌ల (400) కేంద్రాల‌లోని నూట ఎన‌భై (180) విద్యాల‌యాలు పాల్గొన్నాయి. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఇర‌వై వేల‌(20,000)కు పైబ‌డి చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త ఈ పోటీల‌లో పాల్గొన్నారు.

స్పీహా స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ అధ్యక్షుడు అసద్ పఠాన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, "స్పీహా సంస్థ నిర్వహించిన డ్రాయింగ్ అండ్ పెయింటింగ్ పోటీలలో పాల్గొన్న చిన్నారులందరికీ అభినందనలు. ఇటువంటి కార్యక్రమాలలో పాల్గొనడం ఎంతో ముఖ్యం. చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త స్పీహా సంస్థ ఆశ‌యాలైన‌ ప‌ర్యావ‌ర‌ణ విద్య‌, ప‌రిర‌క్ష‌ణను, డ్రాయింగ్‌, పెయింటింగ్ పోటీల ద్వారా ఆవిష్క‌రించ‌డం ఎంతో తృప్తిగా ఉంది. ఈ పోటీలు ఏటేటా అంచెలంచెలుగా ఎదుగుతూ ప‌చ్చ‌ని, ఆరోగ్య‌వంతమైన ప‌ర్యావ‌ర‌ణాన్ని చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త‌ ఈ భూమిపై సాకారం చేసే రోజు ఎంతో దూరంలో లేదు." అన్నారు.
స్పీహా కార్యదర్శి పంకజ్ గుప్త మాట్లాడుతూ "స్పీహా సంస్థ నిర్వహించిన ప‌దిహేడో డ్రాయింగ్ అండ్ పెయింటింగ్ పోటీల స్పందన చూస్తే ఆనందంగా ఉంది. డిఇఐ ఆధ్వ‌ర్యంలో చేప‌ట్టిన పోటీలలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 180 విద్యాసంస్థ‌లు, 20000 పైబ‌డి చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ అంత‌ర్జాతీయ పోటీల‌కు వ‌చ్చిన‌ స్పంద‌న చూస్తే మా సంస్థ అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రజలలో, సమాజాల్లో పర్యావరణ స్పృహను పెంపొందించింది అన‌డానికి ఈ స్పందనే సాక్ష్యం" అన్నారు.

స్పీహా అంతర్జాతీయ డ్రాయింగ్ అండ్ పెయింటింగ్ కార్యక్రమ సమన్వయకర్త రాహుల్ భట్నాగర్ మాట్లాడుతూ "ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఆయా కేంద్రాలలో దిగ్విజయంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు పాటుపడిన స్వచ్ఛంద కార్యకర్తలు, ఆద్యంతం ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొన్న చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త‌కు ధన్యవాదాలు. భవిష్యత్తులో ప్రతి ఒక్కరు భూమాత పట్ల, ప్రకృతి పట్ల బాధ్య‌త‌ ఎరిగి ప్రవర్తిస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాము. గ‌త సంవ‌త్స‌రం కంటే ఈ ఏడాది పోటీలను మ‌రింత స‌మ్మిళ‌తంగా, అంద‌రినీ క‌లుపుకుని పెద్ద సంఖ్య‌లో పాఠ‌శాల‌లు పాల్గొనేలా, మ‌రిన్ని కేంద్రాల‌లో ఈ అంత‌ర్జాతీయ కార్యక్ర‌మాన్ని నిర్వ‌హించాము " అన్నారు.
ఈ పోటీల‌లో మొత్తం అంత‌ర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో 64 బ‌హుమ‌తులు, ప్రాంతాల‌వారీగా మ‌రో 64 బ‌హుమ‌తులు ప్ర‌ధానం చేయ‌నున్నారు. పాల్గొన్న చిన్నారులు, యువ‌త‌కు ఇ-స‌ర్టిఫికేట్ అంద‌జేస్తారు. వ‌య‌స్సుల వారీగా అయిదు విభాగాల్లో ఒక్క‌క్క‌ ప్ర‌థ‌మ‌ బ‌హుమ‌తి, ఐదు ద్వితీయ బ‌హుమ‌తులు, ప‌ది తృతీయ బ‌హుమ‌తులు ఉంటాయి. 2022 న‌వంబ‌ర్ నెలాఖ‌రులో ఫ‌లితాల‌ను వెల్ల‌డిస్తారు.

All of us listened to the bedtime stories narrated to us by our grandparents during childhood, and as youngsters while listening to them we wide open our eyes in curiosity, amusement, in astonishment and brighten with joy and smile on faces with utmost satisfaction, we fell fast asleep in their laps listening to their lullabies.

Are we sensitive?

Couple of days back, I received a call from a friend, sharing that one of the students from the educational institute known to me committed suicide, because he was stamped as unfit to write & pass 10 std. I was in a melancholy. I was Speechless! My heart pondered. That state of mind, made me to go and visit to check National Crime Records Bureau-(NCRB), to find out the number of children committing suicide after the results were announced. These suicides can be averted. (kindly let us keep away 'Karma' from this discussion that is a different topic altogether).

In India, every year, over 1 lakh people are committing suicide, as per the National Crimes Bureau's Report 2020. In 2020 alone, 12,500 students out of 64,114 youth- below 30 years of age, committed suicide in India. Unfortunately, students stood at 8.2% of the total suicides. Let me give you figures of suicide victims of children and youth according to their education levels: Illitates-12.6%, educated up to primary level-15.8%, educated up to middle level-19.5%, and educated up to matriculation level- 23.4% Graduates- 4.0%.

Aren't these spine chilling numbers? These figures made me to ponder over again on -what is education? Life? Learning? and Career? Why are we- as parents, teachers, peers and as a system, failed to address these? Isn't our education system pressuring or pushing students to jump into the rat race of getting ranks and the heighest marks or to read well and stood at the top rank? Students who get good numbers or ranks are only considered as achievers, successful students and paved their way to enter into a career neither in Engineering nor in Medicine? If a child fails to get good rank, marks or an admission into an Engineering college or a Medical college, after intermediate, aren't we consider them as failed students in their life and there is no life beyond engineering and medicine? As parents, teachers and as a society, are we taking time to understand, think and support and build our children's career path?

If a student fails in 10 std, isn't there any life for him or her? no career? what really interests them or matter to them to lead a sucussful life in future?

In most of the cases, we never show any empathy towards the child. His/her inability to perform well in academics didn't mean they are failed in life. Did we ever made the school management to show him/her an alternative career path. I doubt, their minds might have been conditioned before they found their mind, likes, dislikes, abilities, capacities, capabilities, skills, passion and his/her aspirations. If we take all this into consideration, there won't be any suicides by chidlren and youth after the announcement of the results.

We never bother to check the child's family background, accessibility to resources, environment and start judging within the parameters of learning outcomes or performance in academics. If it is so, then we need to consider Sachin Tendulkar, Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, MS.Subbulakshmi, Mithaliraj, Dhirubhai Ambani, and Neeraj Chopra are as failures. But, we don't do that. Why? They are successful in their chosen fields like-sports, movies, music, entrepreneurship etc.

I think, we all lacked one thing or the other as a student or an adult. I believe that if we focus on knowing the each child's abilities, skills, interests, capacities, and passions-abd support them to enter into that field. Then, they definitely succeed in their life, irrespective of their academic background.

Do your duty and don’t bother about the results.

If I look back at my journey-as a person, as an entrepreneur and as an experienced development professional having 26 years of experience, I always believed that a great unseen power is leading, guiding and showing path to me to enjoy this journey as it is! I am a mere microcosom in this well designed creation by the supreme being.

Last one year, was a heartening with great learning experience, even though confined within the four walls of the home at Vizag, due to ruthless pandemic, COVID-19. I was enrolled in Women Startup Programme WSP-3.0, at Nadathur Sarangapani Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL), Indian Institute of Management Bengaluru (IIMB), was an insightful journey to me and our venture School Radio www.schoolradio.in.

Those were the days of First Wave of Pandemic, COVID-19, hit India. Almost, everyday, I was reading about COVID-19 pandemic related news, and its disruption brought to people, planet and profits. I was worried to read many heart wrenching stories and I was reading and working various types of ways to keep myself busy after shutting down of Educational Institutions, and hitting our business badly. We quickly adopted change and was busy broadcasting Talkshows on School Radio, to motivate and encourage children and youth to engage. At the same time, it forced each one of us to explore and adopt to eco-friendly behaviour and change our life.

Earlier, I was not able to participate in the two cohorts of NSRCEL-IIMB, since I was busy working, traveling, and promoting School Radio. Within the blink of time, Life came to the standstill and barren, then came this email, from @Shloka Sachdeva, NSRCEL, IIMB. It was a green patch and a hope to look at and explore. Immediately applied and part of the MOOCs on SWAYAM platform to do ‘Entrepreneurship: Do your Venture Course for Women Entrepreneurship Programme WSP’, Later, it was a history.

It was such an amazing experience to learn from the Professors, Mentors and Peers and attending online classes which made all the great difference with other online courses.

We were constantly engaged attending different kinds of learning platforms for all the women led ventures, selected for incubation out of 310 pre-incubatees out of 10896 applications or learners enrolled. We were all working in small groups to focus on Sprints, AMAs, Founders Fridays and many more mentoring sessions with many inspiring people from the respective industry. My gratitude and love to my family-my partner and my husband, Udaya Kumar, and our son, Dheeraj Gali for their constant support. Without the support and guidance of my mentors, as and when I needed, our Venture, School Radio would not had been at the top 50 ventures of WSP 3.0. Last, but not the least, my cohort made it possible to enjoy my journey.

Yes, irrespective of results or outcomes, we really take our venture, School Radio to the next level as we wanted with out diluting core values and the purpose of founding School Radio. Thank you each one of you and lots of love. The greenery is coming back. Let us all enjoy this greenery.

Evolution of Story Writing!

Times have changed but not emotions and feelings. These are universal. Stories are part and parcel of civilization and human development. Written word is found in Mesopotamia – present day Iraq, dated back to 3200 BC. Stories were told and passed on vocally to generations after generations by our ancestors. There were words, images, song, dance, feelings and expressions to the stories. Earlier, we used to write stories with pen and ink on the leaves of palm and later on paper with ink pen. Then, in China, Buddhist texts were printed using blocks in reverse direction to print on paper. In 1450, commercial printing press was invented by Gutenberg. This evolution made it possible to print the world literature as books.

Evolution not stopped there. Humans are with their intelligence, creativity and by using the technology, created e-books, flip books and multimedia books. Now, creativity plays a very crucial role in the ever changing world in the era of AI, VI and 5 G and future generation technology and super computers, nano technology and quantum mechanics.

Creativity is evergreen. IT is ONLY going to provide us to be eligible to get future jobs. WE are not aware what kind of innovations are going to come in the next two decades. But, creativity is the master of all on the higher plane and highest opportunity to get future jobs. Be ready for the future world. School Radio gives an opportunity for children and young to explore their inherent creativity to weave their stories on their own canvas.

School Radio is a platform initiated by Digital School, a registered partnership firm, to promote the content of 5-19 years age group children and youth, and they create their own content in their choice of language, medium and are exposed towards finding solutions. They shed fear, shyness and inhibitions while expressing themselves and become confident. In the entire process of creating content, children and youth learn 21 century skills, soft skills, life skills, empathy and human values.

Sustainability to me is what ever activity we do, we must be mindful about our consumption, the impact we are going to create and the way we are putting pressure on our natural resources of this planet earth. As much as possible, I wanted to remain as a carbon neutral person: with my acts of responsibility.

Example: After waking up from our beds, we brush our teeth. We use paste, brush and water to clean our teeth.

Do you know how much tooth paste is produced in India in 2020? 141 thousand metric tonnes! What happens to all the toothpaste tubes made out of plastic, rubber and metal? How much waste? How many tonnes of tooth brushes? or how many tooth brushes?

IF you are using bamboo brush, neem stics as tooth brush etc then you are a changemaker. Every act of us is going to impact this planet earth.

So, each one of us let us start noting our activities after waking up in the morning from my bed till going back to bed in the night to sleep. We are eager waiting to know your stories of change.

Do you know how Soil is playing an important role in maintaining the Carbon balanced cycle on this earth? If you are not, let us explore about our 'Soil'! it takes thousands of years to form soil. Big rocks brake down into small pieces. Later they undergo physical, biological, geological, and chemical process with the support of air and water, they weather, and become soil. Soil is limited resource and is considered as a renewable resource, because they keep on forming on continues basis. Soil plays a major role in maintaining and balancing the carbon cycle at global level. All these years, neither our education system nor we focused much on our soils, and their health. They neither taught us by practically showing the importance of soils-as carbon sinks and food cycle and eco-system. Our houses, apartments and buildings are built without giving a space for soil. Soil is entirely covered with concrete. There is no scope for soil to absorb carbon. All the open spaces too filled with the concrete, brinks or other ornamental tiles to walk. Did we miss the link between soil, water, ether, air, fire and other gases to understand?, which are available there in the atmosphere? Soil absorb all kinds of GHGs including Carbon Dioxide. Carbon is absorbed into the soil and it become a nutrient to plants. Soil becomes the carbon sink by sinking 75% of carbon pool on the land. We, while building houses, apartments and villas, we are blocking the natural carbon cycle process. Exorbitant increasing of towns and cities are ending up creating a concrete jungle and increasing the climate change and pressurizing the earth and natural resource-soil! COVID-19 has given an opportunity for all of us to ponder over our priorities. Is this not the right time to think about soils? Don't we need better planners? designers and visualizers who are passionately working towards promoting Eco-friendly designs, material and masters to build our homes which are carbon neutral and which support soil positively.

As a person, I just love to live as much as close to the nature, and practice all kinds of Eco-friendly life style and take small actions, which in turn going to impact at the global level. For example, plant as many plants/trees as possible in your premises irrespective of whether you have place or not. Don't you believe? I have been practicing this for the past seven years and successfully planted almost 200 plants in my small place in all kinds of containers. If I think I am no more using them in kitchen, or at home, those automatically serve me as my planters. If we have a will, there is a way to find solutions. As much as possible I continue to follow my heart and put my efforts into practice. At School Radio, children and youth not only learn about creating socially relevant and meaningful content, but they participate in the process of understanding the life cycle analysis, carbon foot print, and visit to field, identify the issues and find solutions. School Radio is creating young changemakers. We offer internships, workshops and training on different aspects of Environment Education-especially waste management, home composting, kitchen gardening and preparing EM Solutions. #GenerationRestoration to revive and protect our ecosystems. I have been a part and parcel of environmental initiatives all through my life. It all began, when I was a toddler. My maternal grandpa used to carry me on his shoulders, it was a fun to me, I used to jump and dance sitting on his shoulders, yet he carried me with utmost care and affection to our family fields to collect vegetables. It was a sheer joy for me, to go along with him to the fields:sitting on his shoulders, and enjoying the surroundings, and sometimes, plucking the green leafy veggies grown in the fields. He taught me many things, which were related to plants, insects, and reptiles and their importance. He used to grow vegetables and green leafy veggies in the farm, and as well at home too. He was leading a sustainable life. He was respecting all forms of life. I used to see huge Anthills as snake houses in the farm. My grandpa used to narrate all the stories about Subrahmanyam, the reptile God. How he was protecting them, and their yield in the fields. He was leading a sustainable life. As a toddler, I never understood, but when I was growing up learning all about the food chain, I used to relate that story. It was easy for me. But, no one taught me the way I wanted to learn. There was a huge vacuum in teaching and learning. After my grandapa, my mother carried the same passion towards plants, nature and gardening. She is an ardent lover of plants and gardening. Where ever we lived if there is a possibility of having a small tiny place to grow plants, we make it sure to have a tiny garden and grow local food varieties to full fill our needs. That used to give greater satisfaction. The love for nature and environment sprouted during my childhood and it continued and will continue forever. The environment and nature have been part and parcel of my life. My growing up years, we used to live in Nallamala forest range, where we used to encounter with tigers, peahens and peacocks, cobras and reptiles on a regular basis. It was a joy to live in harmony with nature.

When I was working as an NGC Project Officer, AP Pollution Control Board or promoting SHGs grow and nurture nurseries as their livelihood option in the NORAD watershed project. I carried the same zeal, enthusiasm and learning from the children and the communities, I was working with. Used to organize and participate in lots of activities which made me to learn from the children. Children are always awesome and they come up with lots of questions, solutions, and inquisitiveness. This make them unique. Each child is special and learn according to his/her will. They always enjoy learning in a fun filled activities and through activity based learning.

This kind of mixed field experience helped me to start our venture 'School Radio'-which is a blend of self learning and learning by doing. Children and youth identify, understand the issues and explore the solutions on their own by participating in the process of content generation.

Do you know? By 2030, 47% of Indian youth lack 21 Century Skills and they end up joining in labour market without any track to find the 21 century jobs. UNICEF, Global Business Coalition for Education and The Education Commission conducted this study jointly and published their findings in 2019. Pandemic made more spoil sport on the process of making children and youth ready for the 2030- job skills. WE need to empower children and youth by making them to learn 21 century skills. Sustainability is very crucial aspect in the entire process of development and in achieving SDGs by 2030. Children and youth must be made important in the part of decision making process, allow them to take leadership role, engage children and youth to learn by doing and experience. Education, learning and knowledge are applied to find solutions. Currently, our education system unfortunately not focusing on these skills. Communication, Creativity, Collaboration and Critical Thinking are not at all focused in the entire process of learning.

It is saddening to know about the increasing temperatures in Indian rural and urban areas. Year after year, temperatures are soaring. Heat waves are intensifying. Yesterday, heat was unbearable. Vizag's temperature touched 43°C. Vizag used to be a cool place to live. We live in lush green colony and community. It is our responsibility to change our behaviour. Need to reduce our Carbon Footprint. I grow many plants. If I have to spend money, I spend on purchasing plants, without thinking twice. These plants all grown by me at home. I collect, store and preserve and, I plant seed. My organic waste turns into compost. I just give recyclable waste and sometimes sanitary waste to the trash collector. Recently, I gave away sarees, and few sarees are up-cycled and recycled as Anarkali dresses. My carbon foot print is neutral. I follow eco-friendly life style and hence talk about Carbon Footprint, Eco-Friendly lifestyle and I am ardently taking up Environment Education and would like to create young changemakers -who are ready to be part of the solution, and take up the responsibility, to transform the societies we are living in. Online Summer camp!

Stories always capture the attention of children. The moment the narrator starts the story: the faces of children brighten up with a beautiful smile, spark comes in their eyes, curiasity and inquisitiveness dominates them. They wide open their wings of creative imagination to fly leaps and boundaries beyond this world, sometimes universe. The power of spoken words, expressions, emotions and senses make us to glue to the seats and listen to the narrator with rapt attention. Narrator, takes us to the dreamland of our own. That is the power of story telling. Not only physical sessions have this power, but, also online sessions on story telling equally are making children to enjoy and learn joyfully. Children explore 5 Ws and 1H of communications.

School Radio and Chalam Foundation, have come together to organize a two week long Summer Camp for Children and youth, to engage them during COVID-19, make them happy and enjoy their vacation sitting at home and spending quality time to create, learn and unlearn. In this camp, children aged 5-15 years are going to learn Yoga, Music, Story Writing, Story Telling, and Origami. Around, twenty five children have registered for this camp.
