Nesta altura do ano é inevitável. Começo a sonhar com as férias. Com os dias grandes, vagarosos em que temos tempo para muito. Confesso que sinto falta de ler. Junho é mês de santos populares, de sardinha assada, bifanas no pão, bailaricos e muitos manjericos para festejar. E é em Junho que se comemora o dia de Santo António de Lisboa. Organizam-se as marchas populares e festeja-se até ser dia. Mas associado a este santo popular e casamenteiro temos também outras tradições.

Para uma festa com a família e ou amigos, uma das coisas que gosto de fazer é uma tarte. A tarte pode ser servida quente ou fria. É excelente como entrada, basta acompanhar com uma salada de verdes e um molho vinagrete de mostarda, por exemplo, e já está. Simples, rápido e saboroso. Para a receita da tarte de hoje usei o queijo Président Rondelé Nature, em substituição das natas. Há dias que convidam a um almoço com tempo, depois de um passeio pelas ruas bonitas de Lisboa. A semana passada, num dia envergonhado de Primavera, fui almoçar ao restaurante Real Cozinha do Hotel Real Parque, perto do Saldanha e a dois passos da Fundação Gulbenkian. Cheguei já passavam das duas da tarde e a sala tinha várias mesas ainda ocupadas. No passado domingo, dia 9 de Junho à tarde, voltei à Feira do Livro de Lisboa. Dentro de mim transportava o mesmo entusiasmo e alegria de quem vai fazer algo de que se gosta muito pela primeira vez.

Senti-me muito feliz ao ter este segundo convite para voltar à Feira do Livro e tentei aproveitá-lo da melhor forma possível. Há alturas em que nas refeições cá de casa procuro fazer pratos sem carne e sem peixe. É uma resolução no sentido de encontrar um equilíbrio na alimentação cá de casa, e que nos sabe muito bem.

Na minha última ida às compras aos supermercados biológicos Brio trouxe arroz da Herdade da Carvalhoso que adoro, tomate seco produzido em Portugal e um molho de espargos. Este foi o resultado.

A Primavera traz-nos a vontade de fazer pratos coloridos e apetitosos. Nesta altura do ano procuro aproveitar as coisas boas que a natureza nos oferece. Adoro a chegada das batatinhas novas e das ervilhas, doces e tenras.

Desenvolvi esta receita para as Batatas de França.


Ingredientes:
500 g de batatas cozidas inteiras com a pele

A Primavera é a rainha da abundância e das coisas boas. Esta altura do ano é tão rica em frutas e legumes que me apetece fazer coisas diferentes todos os dias. Na minha última ida às compras aos supermercados biológicos Brio, já vi à venda beldroegas frescas e viçosas, mesmo a pedir um delicioso destino, mas desta vez rendi-me aos damascos perfumados do Algarve. Para quem faz exercício - e para quem não faz - a minha sugestão de hoje é um batido de papaia com frutos secos e bagas goji, bem saboroso e nutritivo. Caso o batido fique muito espesso, aconselho a colocar um pouco de leite.


Ingredientes:
1 iogurte sólido magro natural
1/2 papaia
1 colher de sopa de frutos secos, ao natural (ex. amendoins, cajus, nozes, amêndoas, avelãs)

Sábado esteve um dia bonito de Primavera com sol. Depois das compras no mercado e de preparar um almoço leve, a meio da tarde fui para a loja de Almada da Fnac. Mais uma semana que chega ao fim. Há alturas em que o tempo passa a correr ou pelo menos é assim que eu vivi estes dias. Entre alguns cozinhados, esta semana fui conhecer o restaurante Can the Can, no Terreiro do Paço em Lisboa, no âmbito da iniciativa Lisboa Restaurant Week.

Imaginem que recebem amigos e que adorariam fazer uma pavlova, mas como não há tempo, deixo-vos hoje uma ideia com suspiros, natas e fruta fresca. São servidos?


Ingredientes:
1 embalagem de suspiros (90g)
200 ml de natas
45 g de açúcar

Um dos ingredientes que costumo usar regularmente é arroz. Arroz com peixe, com frango ou pato, com legumes, com enchidos, arroz de tudo, sabe sempre bem. Nós portugueses somos conhecidos como os "chineses" da Europa pelo nosso consumo de arroz que anda, se não me engano, por volta dos 15Kg/pessoa/ano. É uma boa média, não acham?

Hoje deixo-vos mais uma sugestão de um batido para beber antes de fazer exercício físico ou ... para quando vos apetecer! ;)

Ingredientes:
100 ml de bebida de soja natural
2 a 3 colheres de sopa de flocos de aveia (ou de gérmen de trigo)
1 molho de espinafres
1 colher de sopa de sementes variadas (sésamo, girassol, chia, cânhamo)
1 maçã (ou 1 pera)
