Create Animated GIFs on Android

If you want to share movies from your Android phone, making and sharing a quick animated GIF instead is definitely a better option than sharing the whole movie because it will consume a lot of your monthly bandwidth. An animated GIF can be made using GIF Droid. A video can be taken and turned into an animated GIF that you can send to anyone in seconds.
Instructions:

First install GIF Droid from the Android Market, and then open the application (app).
Click Select Video button. This will open your gallery to select a video. OR Click Record Video button. This will open your phone camera to record a video.
The section of the video you want to convert into an animated GIF can be chosen through sliding the grey bars at the start and end. Now click the Next button present at the extreme end of the screen.

To reduce the size of animation through cutting out unwanted sections, select frames from the video you would like to use. Now click on the Create GIF button at the extreme right end of the screen to pin down the project.

Preview your GIF and share by hitting the Share button (which is the second last button on the left side of the screen).
You can also rename the GIF by clicking the Rename button (which is the second last button on the right side of the screen).
You can make another GIF by tapping the Create another button from the extreme right end of the screen.
You can even delete the one you just made by pressing the Delete GIF button from the extreme left end of the screen.

Today I am telling you about how to download torrent files with IDM(Internet Download Manager) or other Fast Downloader. I have already post one trick about this but this is one is better and fast way to download torrent files.

Instructions:

First of all download a torrent file which you want to download i.e movie file or pdf torrent file etc.

Note: Just download " .torrent " file which almost 2 or 3 KB.

Now click on Signup and Create an account.

fter creating your account click on upload button and select your torrent file from computer which you first downloaded.

When you select a torrent file then click on GO! button.

Now you will see a dialog saying please wait and wait for some seconds.

Note: It cache the file very fast but sometime it take time then wait or login after some time to your account.

When the cache is complete for your file then the download button will be activate and click on it to download the file.

Some Information On Above Code:
Where “YourPictureName.jpg” is, delete that and replace with your picture name for example “abc.jpg”

Save the notepad as “desktop.ini”.

Unlock Memory Card Password Trick

If you protect your memory card with password and forgot that after few day then step easy method How to unlock Memory card without software.

Hacking or finding memory card password.
Formatting corrupted memory card(but no guaranteed).

There are many methods to find memory card password.

Install and launch MMCPWD application. it will display some special characters including your password.(MMCPwd.sis)
Locate mmcstore file. install and launch System Explorer or FExplorer application. go to c:system and open (using unicode/hex editor) the mmcstore file. it will display your password.
NOTE: you can also copy the mmcstore file to any folder of your phone memory, rename it to mmcstore.txt and open it without using any unicode/hex editor).

Instructions:

open up fe explorer thingy.
Go to C:system folder and locate a file called mmcStore. Scroll down till you find it.
Copy it to C:nokiaothers
Highlight it
click options
FILE>RENAME
IT should turn blue: right click then write “.txt” (should look like “MMCSTORE.txt”
try to open it, (that should be your password, if nothing happens then go to 9.)
connect phone to pc
Open the file from C:\NOKIA\OTHERS\MMCSTORE
copy the file to your desktop
open with Windows notepad/ microsoft word
that should be your password

How to Reset Ubuntu Password

If you have ever forgotten your password, you are not alone it is probably one of the most common tech support problems I have encountered over the years. Luckily if you are using Ubuntu they made it incredibly easy to reset your password.

All it takes is adjusting the boot parameters slightly and typing a command or two, but we will walk you through it.

Reset Your Ubuntu Password

Reboot your computer, and then as soon as you see the GRUB Loading screen, make sure to hit the ESC key so that you can get to the menu.

If you have the option, you can choose the recovery mode item on the menu, usually found right below your default kernel option.

Then choose Drop to root shell prompt from this menu.

This should give you a root shell prompt.

Alternate Root Shell Method

If you do not have the recovery mode option, this is the alternate way to manually edit the grub options to allow for a root shell.

First you will want to make sure to choose the regular boot kernel that you use (typically just the default one), and then use the e key to choose to edit that boot option.

Now just hit the down arrow key over to the kernel option, and then use the e key to switch to edit mode for the kernel option.

You will first be presented with a screen that looks very similar to this one:

You will want to remove the ro quiet splash part with the backspace key, and then add this onto the end:

rw init=/bin/bash

Once you hit enter after adjusting the kernel line, you will need to use the B key to choose to boot with that option.

At this point the system should boot up very quickly to a command prompt.

Changing the Actual Password

You can use the following command to reset your password:

passwd < username >

After changing your password, use the following commands to reboot your system. (The sync command makes sure to write out data to the disk before rebooting).

sync
reboot -f

I found that the -f parameter was necessary to get the reboot command to work for some reason. You could always hardware reset instead, but make sure to use the sync command first.

And now you should be able to login without any issues.

Increase Hard Drive Speed in Windows

Close SYSEDIT and reboot your computer.

Remember: None of these two methods will harm your hard drives. So do it without any worries.

Adding Languages To Keyboard Input in Ubuntu

It is easy to type in multiple languages in Ubuntu. This tutorial will guide you through the simple steps to ading keyboard languages to Ubuntu and show you how to modify the settings for keyboard shortcuts to toggle between languages. You can switch between different keyboard layouts, preview and print the layouts, and alter settings at any time.

To add keyboard languages in Ubuntu, click on “System” and this will open the System menu. Select “Preferences” and then “Keyboard”.

This opens the Keyboard Preferences dialog in which you can select different language layouts. Click the “Layouts” tab and then click “Add”.

Now the Layout dialog box opens. Scroll through the various different countries and variants to select the desired language layout that you want to set. Keep in mind that you can set multiple languages and the default will not be lost. In this demonstration, we are selecting basic German for the keyboard layout. Select by country to choose any language and then select any applicable variant. Certain countries, such as the United States, can display several different languages. When your selections have been made, click Add and you are able to preview the keyboard layout for that language setting.

You are also able to set the layout by language and set a variant. When you have completed your selections, click Add.

In this case, the keyboard language was set both by country and by language. You can do either one, but the layout may vary somewhat if you do not set by country and by language. This is something you will have to experiment with, as the settings will be different for each country and language. Always view the preview to be sure that it is what you are looking for or at least close to what you are looking for.

Notice that we now have two languages displayed in the Keyboard Preferences. Both are immediately usable and you can add additional languages or simply close the dialog.

Now that multiple languages have been installed, a new icon will be displayed in the System tray. This will be located in the upper-right portion of the screen. An abbreviation of the country for which the keyboard is set is shown here. Click on the icon to reveal the list of languages and to change languages. You may also access Keyboard Preferences here to add more languages.

Click on “Show Current Layout” to preview the keyboard layout for a selected language. Here, the language was switched to German and we get a layout preview.

You can print this layout easily from this screen. At the bottom-right you will see the Print button. Click Print and you have an easy reference to keep beside your keyboard for reference.

To change keyboard shortcuts for switching languages, open the keyboard preferences dialog and click the “Layouts” tab. Now chose the keyboard shortcuts to switch between input languages. For example, check the box next to “Alt+Shift” and this will be the shortcut to change keyboard languages. Choose the shortcut that is most convenient for you.

There are other options in Keyboard Preferences to customize keyboard settings, should you desire to experiment with these. This covers the basics for adding keyboard languages to Ubuntu.

Password Protect Your Word Documents

We all use Microsoft Word to create documents.
and some times we dont want other people to access our documents
specially when you are on a shared computer in your company and you may have your certain secret data stored in your word document that should not be accessed by your boss or other employee’s.

To deal with such a situation Microsoft word 2007 integrated a security feature in Microsoft word so that you can password protect your files.

Instruction:

Open the document you want to password protect.
Click on the Microsoft Office Button present on the top left corner of the window.
Now Click on the Save As option
Now a new window will pop up.
Click on Tools option at the bottom of the window.
Now you will have two options.
You can select either one or both options
One is Password To Open it will ask for the password every time the document is opened.
So to view the document you have to enter the password first.
Second is Password To Modify it will ask for the password every time somebody tries to modify the document.

Restrict any drive in windows 7
