In honor of the 10th year, HIV Plus honored their 10 most-admired leaders in the September 1st issue.

The Executive Director of Hope's Voice International, Todd Murray, is featured on the cover of the issue and honored as one of the 10 most-admired leaders.

"I am deeply honored to be recognized as a leader with these incredible individuals that have made significant contributions in the HIV and AIDS epidemic. I share this honor with the ambassadors and speakers of Hope's Voice International that have committed their lives to end the stigma for all those living with HIV or AIDS. We look forward to reaching young people for another ten years," says Todd.

Todd's photos were taken by Mike Ruiz, a highly sought after celebrity photographer. "I would like to thank Mike for giving his time and passion to do the photo shoot. He is a wonderful friend and supporter of the work of Hope's Voice International," says Todd. Mike shot the Does HIV Look Like Me? Mexico print campaign and produced the promotional video. World AIDS Day Programs Book Fast!

Three Schools have already confirmed speakers for their World AIDS Day programming this fall. On December 1, 2008 Kevin Fletcher will speak at Anne Arundel Community College and Josh Lunior and Christina Rock will share their stories at Alvernia College and Jeremiah Vialpando will present at Adams State College on December 2. SUNY Oswego is in the mist of selecting speakers for their December 1, 2008.

"It was an amazing program, Lance did a terrific job telling his story about how he received HIV. I believe all the students learned a lot from him that day about what HIV is and how we can avoid this huge epidemic. Lance's story was very emotional and very touching.

"Also, Lance did a great job; he is a charismatic person and very sweet guy. He has a certain aura about him he that made everyone smile that day!! Does HIV Look Like Me? campaign is going to Swaziland!

Hope’s Voice International is proud to announce that our campaign team will be going to Swaziland the week of 23 March -30 March. The Swaziland National Network of People Living with HIV, or SWANNEPHA (http://www.swannepha.org.sz), with technical support from the Family Life Association of Swaziland, or FLAS (http://www.flas.org.sz/), has agreed to act as the Country Campaign Host in Swaziland. We are thrilled to be partnering with such widely respected community service organizations. The Hope’s Voice International team will be staying at a lodge with 30 campaign ambassadors in Swaziland, and facilitating leadership workshops and film and photo shoots. The week’s events will be capped off with a “Movement” party on Saturday night celebrating the ambassadors and kicking off the campaign in Swaziland.
