Taggie blanket features Michael Millers adorable Children at Play fabrics! The back side is super super soft ivory dot minky fabric to comfort your little one. It features the rag style quilting and different kinds of ribbons. It also includes a starp with a snap so your little one can't drop it. The more you wash this taggie blanket the more the edges will rag. I have already washed it once to start the ragging process. It measures approximately 16""X16"". Ribbons measure approx. 2"". All the ribbons have been triple stitched for security. The fabrics have been pre-washed for shrinkage.

I use dream-like imagery in my art to enhance or provide a different way of looking at everyday reality. My works are symbolically structured and mostly based on my personal experiences. I'm currently working with two themes. In the transitions series, I create contrasting environments of safety and danger and compose womb-like settings with the subject in various stages of emergence or retreat. I've also recently started a series of block prints of children, containing folklore and fairy tale elements based on my family history, referencing paintings, stories, poems, and etc... that were dear to me as a child.

When Emily Van Do got pregnant for the first time, she was excited and a little scared. She did everything she could to prepare for a smooth and healthy pregnancy and baby! What she wasn't prepared for, however, was all of the inappropriate comments and questions people uttered to her!

People made comments about her appearance -- her growing body parts, for example! They touched her belly (without permission) and made some guesses about the sex of the baby, based on her growing body! Emily couldn't believe what she was hearing! She wrote the questions/comments in her diary so that she could remember to tell her husband.
