When I am thinking my exchange period in Norway I got so many navels experience and I tried so many thing I never tried before in my life among those things specially in the winter time I tried all the Ski games with the snow and ice even some 20 years old Norwegian children didn't all those things but I did those things there are Skiing,Ice skating, Snow board I thing I am very lucky to stay in Bronnoysund and with Ostergard family.

KFUK-KFUM Speider Rover Conference 10th to 12 th Feb 2012 - Aalesund

I participated Rover conference it was held in Aalusand from 10th to 12th of February 2012.It was nice to stay with them and participate their activities.after we were arrived we had meeting with all Rovers it was for giving information about this programme then at around 10 pm we went other place for the playing games.

next day morning we went to a hike it was middle in the town when we reach the top we can see all around the Aslusend town on the top.then we ate our lunch on the top(BBQ) in the evening we had a special dinner party.The final day morning they had a election for who are going lead Rovers in Norway as a Rover Committee in 2012.

When I was in this programme I met 2 nice guys one from near by Oslo and other from northern part of Norway,they are living in different places but they have met before come here at the world jamboree in Sweden 2011 and it was unforgettable place both of them because of they have found girl friends in the world Jamboree and this programme conducted in Norwagian language but my two friends they are translate to me in English. ...... !

We celebrated 2012 new year with Kisten familly and Bawumik and his wife at Kisten place. That day we had a dinner only sea foods then mid night we went to out side we celebrated new year lighting fire creaks it was so fun.

Christmas with Ostergard family in Bronnoysund

It was nice experience to spent with the Norwagian family in the Christmas time on 24th of December at around 4.00 p.m we went to church for the Christmas eve mass.After that we were spent our time eating,singing and dancing around the Christmas tree with Kiasten familly.(my self and Naren) after that I got so many presents from friends in bronnoysund.

On 25th December - We had a party at same place Kirsten house. It was nice gathering lot of people in the bronnoysund.I met priests in bronnoysund church and other pries and their family members. After having the dinner we spent our Christmas day singing and dancing around the Christmas tree.

100 Year Celebration

With De Macalousa

This was my first scout camp in Norway represented as a scout of Sri Lanka. I met different age scouts around bronnoysund city, at the camp we were spent our time singing,playing and cooking with each other. we had a holy mass,carnival, and especially we celebrated 100 years of Scouting in Norway KFUK-KFUM.

The first day I slept with the scouts in the tent it was real experience for me because of the out side was very cold that time climate was 5 or 7 Celsius. During the camp time I am organized a obstacle hike for them and I taught marching and some scouts commands.

I got an opportunity to climb a one of the famous mountain in Bronnysund. I went with my two friends in Bronnysund one is Stefan he is the Rover scout leader in here and other friend name is Ovar he is the husband of gry. It was a nice experience I felt I am in Hortain Plance it's the place of in Sri Lanka up country in Nuwara Eliya District because of the same weather and environment.

We spent to reach the top of mountain 1.15 hours and we spent to do down 40 minutes.

This exchange programme was organized by the Y-Global of Norway (KFUM-KFUK),

An excellent opportunity given for youth’s from different countries to develop their skills.
