Introduction

In the war of Humans and Orcs that occured long ago many Orcish warriors were corrupted by demonic influence and became tools of blackest darkness. One such warrior was the leader of the Half-Tribe of the Bloodied Axe Clan; Mogul Kahn. Mogul was slain by human Paladins but mysteriously was seen fighting alongside the Scourge around the time Mannoroth started to command the Orcs in the war against Archimonde. The Axe has been revived by demons and uses his reflexes and powerful blows to hunt down and seek out the Sentinels' agile warriors and cut them down to size, even projecting his lust for war onto them.

2. Concussive Shot

With Dragon like intuition, the Skywrath Mage releases a compact ball of magical lightning at the closest visible hero within 1600 AoE. Upon impact the ball bursts slowing enemies by 40% for 4 seconds and dealing damage around the target.

4. Mystic Flare
(Active, ground target)

Dragonus uses his ultimate magical ability to conjure a precise and violent mystical field that lays waste to his adversaries. Deals massive damage distributed evenly among any heroes in the AoE over 2 seconds.

Xin dashes around with blazing speed, attacking all enemies in the targeted AoE and returns to where he was standing after. You deal 50% less damage to creeps.

You are invulnerable during this process. Takes 0.2 seconds to attack per unit.

3. Flame Guard (active, no target)

Xin surrounds himself with a ring of fire that consumes incoming magic damage, leaving him unharmed. Deals dps in a 400 aoe. If the shield is dispelled, the dps buff goes away.

4. Fire Remnant (Active, ground target)

Xin charges himself with the energy to create a Fire Remnant every 30 seconds, with a max of 3 charges. Releasing a charge, sends a Fire Remnant that runs to the targeted point at 2.5 times your speed. Xin can use his secondary ability to dash out to each remnant's location, detonating them for AoE damage, and arriving at the one he targeted last. Remnants last 45 seconds or until you fuse with them. The remnant placing ability is limited by charges and not cooldown or manacost.

The secondary ability lets you target a location closest to whichever Remnant you want to choose. Xin will then dash out going through each remnant, arriving at the selected remnant last. Each Remnant you go through causes it to detonate, dealing damage in the area around it.

Notes:

2. Timber Chain
(Active, targeted point)

Fires a chain that embeds itself in the first tree it hits, pulling you to it and cutting any enemy in your path for pure damage.

Cooldown: 4 seconds

Note: You will not be pulled in if you are stunned when the chain latches onto a tree

3. Reactive Armor (Passive)

What doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger! Every physical attack made on Rizzrak increases his armor and gives him bonus hp regen. Each stack lasts for 16 seconds.

Bonus: 1 armor and 1 HP regen per stack

4. Chakram (Activatable, targeted point)

Fires your main saw blade at the target location, and once there the blade will spin, dealing damage in an AoE around it and slowing enemies by 5% for every 5% of health they are missing. The blade deals pure damage and cuts down trees in its path when fired and retracted. You lose the ability to attack while the blade is out.

3. Moment of Courage (Passive)

When Tresdin is attacked, he has a chance to gain a moment of courage, instantly attaking again with bonus lifesteal.

Notes: Cannot proc more than once every 0.75 seconds. The lifesteal is not an orb effect.

4. Duel (Active, enemy hero target)

Calls the targeted enemy for a duel. Both you and the enemy will be forced to attack each other and will both be unable to use items or abilities. The victor gains 10 permanent bonus damage.

Introduction

After the map v6.65 was released kaldr became one of the best heroes for me with four active spells. Using his four active spells can be quite difficult but once you master this hero it will become one of the most powerful heroes in DotA. Ancient Apparition can stop push from the enemy creeps of one lane using his ice blast while he himself is pushing from other lane Using his first kill either cold feet he can easily harass most of the heroes in DotA, and therefore has a brilliant lane controlling ability. Introduction

Alchemist is one of the best tanker heroes in DotA. He is a more of a tanker hero than a carry but if farmed correctly can also become a great carry hero. Now, since his stun has been reworked he is able to become a support hero. If not played and farmed correctly this hero may prove almost useless even for tanking in the game. But if farmed correctly it could change the course of the game from defeat to conquest. Surviving from and in gank

In times when you get ganked, your surviving depends on your skill and also your enemy’s who are ganking you.

While in the lane if some heroes suddenly rush out of the fog towards you, it is better you use your stun or slow if you have and run away but don’t do this if you have to go near the enemy hero to cast your stun like Dragon Knight’s spell Dragon’s tail. After that, run directly towards your tower and get inside the jungle which is good for confusing your opponent. Sometimes, when your opponents make a tower dive you may have chance to kill them while juking in the jungle.

In nearly all pub games there is 2-1-2 type laning that means if you play mid there will be only one hero else 2 in other lanes. After the game begins, most of the players stay near the towers to wait for the creep line while few think of ganking others hero from the beginning of the game. If you found there are less no. of heroes in your lane than it is supposed to be then immediately write “Hero Missing from the top lane “ or bottom or something like that. That will make your allies cautious and decrease the chances of feeding you enemies and also tell your allies to do same for your safety and sake of the game

Warding also helps you from running away from a gank. Observer wars are very useful and can change the course of the game. So, always make the supporter buy a ward in the game.

Tower hugging is also one of the strategies in the game. If the enemy heroes are weak and can’t take more than 4-5 hits from towers then they basically don’t tower dive so at that time tower hugging comes very useful. Until the missing hero goes back to its lane don’t get into the range of vision of enemy heroes leaving the tower you might feed your opponent. You can also stay in blind spots where your opponent can’t see you and get experience but don’t think about earning gold about the gold just stay behind.

When to running away when an allies calls “Hero Missing”?

At the time when you are outside the range of your tower and there are more than one path to your lane from the forest.

When there are invisible heroes in the opponent team.

Also, when your enemies come more closer to farm on creeps than they usually do.

In the start of the game you have 853 gold but after you pick a hero you will only have 603 gold. If you random a hero you will have 853 gold and if you do certain attribute random (like –random agi, –random str or -random int) then you will have 753 gold.

So, what to buy to start a better early game?

These are the items that you should buy with your available gold when you leave your base but not after end of the early game except the observer ward which could be bought from the early to late game for better visibility of map and save yourselves and also for perfect ganking.

Physical damage.:

Physical damage is dealt by all normal attacks from all the units in DotA, and also by few of the spells. Physical damage taken by a hero is reduced by armor and damage block and is unaffected by magic immunity and resistance. Ethereal units cannot be attacked by physical attacks.

There are a number of attack types that causes physical damage, depending on the source, which are reduced by different types of Armor.

Hero Attacks:

They do 100% damage against all the units in DotA except the fortified towers and siege creeps, which take only half damage (50%) from heroes.

Piercing Damage

They do 50% reduced damage against heroes but 150 %( bonus 50%) damage against Creeps. This type of damage is possessed my Venomancer’s plague ward which makes it more helpful to control the lane rather than to harass heroes also possessed by creeps.

Siege Damage

They do 150 %( bonus 50%) damage against fortified tower and siege creeps but 75% reduced damage against the heroes. This type damage type is possessed by siege creeps and towers.

Chaos Damage

They do 100% damage to all units in DotA but 40% of damage in opposition to the fortified towers and siege creeps. This type of damage is possessed by warlock’s infernal and also by ancient units as well as fountain of health.

Magical Damage:

It is caused mostly by casting spells, while not all the spells do magical damage. It is reduced by magic resistance and does 1.3-1.5 more damage to ethereal units but magic immune units are unaffected by this. Like Dragon knight’s Dragon breath.

Mixed Damage:

It is a combination of both the physical and magical damage types. These types of damage are reduced by magic resistance, amour and damage block but not by magic immunity and ethereal units are not affected by this type of damage. Like Leshrac's Diabolic Edict.

Pure Damage:

This type of damage ignores all armor, damage block and magic resistance as well. It does normal damage against ethereal units but doesn’t affect magic immunity units. Like Enchantress' Impetus.

HP Removal:

This type of damage ignores all damage reductions and affects units under magic immunity and invulnerability and does physical damage against ethereal units. Like Necrolyte's heart-stopper Aura.

Attributes and types of heroes

In Warcraft 3, all the heroes have three attributes strength (STR), agility (AGI) and intelligence (INT). To become a good player one must know all of these. These are very important so read it carefully.

All the heroes in DotA have a main attribute upon which their damage is based. Every point on their main attribute increases the damage of the certain hero by 1. When a hero levels up there is always increase in their attributes but in main attribute there is larger sum of increase which also increases the damage of the hero. Additional increase in attributes by the items also increases the damage. Rather than damage there are also other kinds of gain.

Like every point increase in Strength increases their maximum health points of the hero by 19 points also there will be increased HP regeneration by 0.03 per second.

Every point increase in intelligence increases their maximum Mana points by 13 and Mana regeneration rate by 0.04 points per second

Every point increase in agility increases their attack speed by 1 point and armor by 0.14 points.

Strength Heroes (STR hero)

Strength heroes are those types of hero which generally have high hp and damage but low attack speed when compared with other heroes. Most of these heroes play the role of tankers, supporters and gankers and few play the role of carry and semi-carry. So, these types of heroes should buy the items which are in common with their main attribute items like gauntlet of strength and circlet of nobility combine to form bracer and many more.

Agility Heroes (AGI hero)

Agility heroes are that type of a hero which are generally focused on attack speed and damage but has low health as well as mana. Most of these heroes play the role of carry hero in the game and others play supportive and ganking. Items like wraith band, butterfly are one of the most items made by the agility heroes which increase their main attribute.

Intelligence Heroes (INT hero)

Intelligence heroes are those heroes are generally focused on spells or magic and Mana points but not much in health points and attack speed when compared with strength and agility heroes. Most of these heroes play the role of support and ganker as well as initiator. In an early game, it is very easy to kill or harass the opponent heroes with its spells. It is better for these types of heroes to stay back in a gank because of their low hp and low resistance and cast their spells affectively to support the team. These types of heroes prove to be weak in late game and strong during early and mid game.

Carry Heroes

Carry heroes are those types of heroes that become strongest heroes throughout late game. Carry heroes are generally dependent on items so they farm throughout the early game till the mid game and also dependent on good supports my ally. In comparison to other heroes they are generally weak. If carry heroes can get a good farm they could destroy all the opponents including their carry with a good support by teammates. If your opponent team has also got a strong carry you should remember that they could also get well feed. So, you must try to end the game as soon as possible.

Semi-Carry Heroes

These types of heroes are just like multitalented people who we see in our day to day life. Semi-Carry heroes are heroes that can play all the roles like supporting, ganking, tanking or AOE/Team-fighter. Generally semi-carries are strong during the whole game but won’t be strong as carry hero.

Support Heroes

Support heroes are those heroes that help out the carry hero to farm during the early and mid game. These heroes are generally having strong spells which are supportive like heal, disable and offensive skills like stun, nuking spells, etc which would help their carry to get more creeps and kills. These heroes also help carry by giving them last hits on creeps, heroes and towers. These heroes mostly have low hp so the player must be aware of the fact that he must be alive throughout the gank and support the carry. A good supporter must also remember that a kill by him is worthless and know that that kills should be given to the carry. This is how a supporter should play and the player should think that the success in the farming of the carry is equal to his success.

Ganking Heroes

Ganking heroes are generally same as support heroes. But as for ganking heroes they would mostly require farming for few items like Kelen’s Dagger. While playing a ganking hero one must always remind to kill the opponent’s carries 1^stso that their carries would have difficult time to farm and the game would come into your favor.

AOE or Team-fighter Heroes

They are also generally same as the ganking heroes and support heroes. Team-fighter heroes are not much required in game the only think that would require from them would be their some specific spells like tide-hunter’s ravage, etc. These types of heroes may also require few farm like gank heroes to make the Kelen’s dagger.

Tanking or Initiators Heroes

These types of heroes are generally the ones that start the ganking and take on all the hits instead for their carry. These are mostly the strength heroes who have high health points and good amount of regeneration. Most of the game has carry heroes. These types of heroes mostly initiate by stunning their opponents like dragon knight a very good tanker hero and a very good initiator spell dragon’s tail.

Pushing

Just like ganking pushing is also a very important type of game play in DotA. In pubs is more or less always difficult to manage the whole team to push on a lane. Nearly all players desire to go inside jungle to farm on neutral creeps almost the whole game unless they have complete build of items. This is how the play style of the poor players.

Destroying a single tower gives more than 1100 gold advantage to your team if your opponent has destroyed none. And if your team destroys 3 of the opponent’s towers and they have destroyed none, your team will gain more than 3100 gold advantage which is very huge and can be the reason for your victory in the game.

If the opponent team tries to push a certain lane to destroy one of your towers, at that time you will likely need the support of your whole team to defend your allied towers. You will be in advantage while fighting beside a tower since it has high damage, reveal invisible units nearby. So, defending a tower is gives you nearly all the time advantages.

While pushing most of the players get too reckless which is really bad the most important this is to just remember to keep pushing. You should always remember that you are pushing to destroy the towers of your opponents not to get kills. After you have destroyed all of the 3 towers in the lane, you can destroy the mega towers. There are two mega towers in a lane. When you have destroyed the both of the mega towers, melee creeps as well as ranged creeps will gain more hp and damage of the lane.

While pushing, destroying the mega towers is also one of the most important ways to put the game in your advantage. Because, destroying the mega towers means the Creep line being constantly pushed against the opponent team, which makes them to defend more than to farm and push. Also, the gold obtained by killing the upgraded creeps also known as mega creeps are very low almost the half.

Like I said before, never to forget why are you pushing for? It is far better to keep attacking the mega towers rather than going after opponent heroes. Destroying the mega towers are very easy unlike other towers since it has low armor. So, after you destroy these towers you can go after the heroes which will also make your push successful. If you don’t do this you will only lose 20-30 second going after the hero and giving them chance to kill you or something like that.

If you have chance end the game as fast as you could because if you think just destroying the mega towers wins the game then you are wrong. It will be like throwing away the game that you have already won. I have seen many players do this kind of idiotic mistakes and losing the game. This kind of mistakes will make you feel as if someone have pulled out the candy which you have already put inside your mouth.
