Using Title Tags to Improve SEO:

Until now, the Title Tags generated for each page of your Blogger blog would display the blog title first, then the name of your post. This wasn't so good for SEO (search engine optimization) as this made keywords from your post titles appear after your blog title.

So if you want to improve SEO that is important for your blog, follow step below.

1. Go to Design > edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard.

2. Search for this tag:

3. Replace(means remove code above and place code below) this tag with the following:

<title><data:blog.title/></title>
<b:else/>
<title><data:blog.pageName/></title>
</b:if>

4. Save your template.

This work only in XML blogger templates. Also is and a hack for classic bloggers, but as I know no one use classic blogger anymore.

How to change Font and Colors on your Blogger template:

First, you should try to edit Font and Colors from your dashboard, most of my templates are compatible with new template designer tool, so you just go to: Design > Template Designer > Advanced

If this not work, this means you are using old blogger templates, but this OK, the template works perfectly.

Now let explain how you can edit your color and font direct from template source:

Change Font Color:

1. Design > edit HTML
2. Search [CTRL+F] for: body {
3. After you find it will see usually color:#333333
4. This is color of your text, change it from #333333 to #ff0000 [you will see difference]
5. You can do many search [CTRL+F] for the word color: to change color link etc

Change Font style:

1. Design > edit HTML
2. Search [CTRL+F] for: #outer-wrapper {
3. After you find will see something like: font: 14px Arial; or font-family:Arial;
4. Replace it with your favorite Font [Georgia, Helvetica, Times, etc]

Usually I use diferent font for Header, so to edit and header font search for #header h1 {

Hope I explained as simple was possible, if you have any other question let me know, but remember that latest templates and new ones will have option to change font and color from blogger dashboard [Design > Template Designer > Advanced]

How to display the navbar again in my template?

Easy! Enter in the code of your template (Dashboard --> Design --> Edit HTML) and search for:

#navbar-iframe {
display: none !important;
}

Delete it and that’s it.

Add meta tag in your blog (SEO)

If you don't know what meta tags are, and what is the importance of adding meta tags, here is the detailed description on how to add them to your blogger(blogspot) blogs or any website.

Do you know adding meta tags is so important if you want to get more traffic from search engines like google,yahoo,msn,etc,especially the meta description is the most important one.

If you don't know what meta tags are,Meta tags are the tags which describes your site and tells the search engines what your site is all about.Adding meta tags is an important factor in SEO.(Search Engine Optimisation).Meta tags allows search engines to index your web pages more accurately. In other words,Meta tags communicate with the search engines and tells more information about your site and make it index correctly and accurately.

Here is how to add meta tags to your blogger(blogspot) blog:
1.Sign in to your blogger dashboard>click the 'layout' button[see the screenshot below]

2.Click on the 'Edit html' tab

Don't forget to add description and keywords.
and save the changes.

IMPORTANT:
Several people were filling with just the keywords in the description.DON'T DO THAT.Google and other search engines will ban your site from the search engines list if you did so.And also,don't repeat the keyword more than 3 times.
That's it!You have sucessfully added the metatags to your blogger(blogpsot) blog.If you want to check whether you added the meta tags correctly or not,just type 'meta tags analyzer tool' in the google and you will find so many sites which can check whether you have added the tags correctly or not.

This is only for users which has already installed this code on their templates, they need only to update a link.

1. Go to edit HTML --> search for this:

NEW USERS READ THIS:

Read more function is used to cut our post on homepage, post will appear fully when we click read more link. It's cut automatically and if we insert image, it appears thumbnail.
This is automatic read more function with thumbnail. We just need to set up our HTML code.

Follow steps:

How to show Static Pages on your current Menu Bar

This tutorial will help You to show Blogger Static Pages on your previows installed Menu Bar, which most of my templates has one. Check also and images, will help you to make this tutorial easy as it is.

Let Start:

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard --> click New Post --> click Edit Pages --> create New Page [ie: About Me] --> Publish Page

2. Now you will see How would you like the Pages Gadget to appear? --> click No gadget --> Save and Publish [Check This IMAGE]

3. Now click Edit Page and right click on View --> Copy Link Address [Check This IMAGE]

4. Go back at your Dashboard and click Design --> Edit HTML --> Search [CTRL+F] --> About

5. You will see all code for top Menu Links [ie: About, Contact] [Check This IMAGE]

6. Now if you created About Me page, replace # with your link, that you copied [see step 3] [Check This IMAGE]

7. Preview / Save That's it.

How to EDIT Menu Links (ie: About, Contact):

UPDATE: Before we go, its important to know that this tutorial is for previous templates. If you after installed the template see only HOME button on top menu than don't need to read this tutorial but just go to
Blogger Dashboard > Edit Post > Edit Pages > New Page and create easily new pages :)

Otherwise read this tutorial:
Menu Links that you see on your blog, actually are on your template code, is not hard to edit, just need to know when you should look on your template code, for this I will show simple tutorial with images.

Lets Go:

1. Log in --> Dashboard --> Design --> Edit HTML

2. Now you have to go to menu links which are on template code. Search [CTRL + F] About
(I choose About because most of my templates has this TEXT link on Menu, you can enter Log In or etc, enough that this word must be on Menu Links)

3. Now you should SEE something like here [Check this IMAGE]

4. Now to add Pages on those Menu Links read post below:

5. If you want to delete, just delete only About text or all link

How to install a Blogger Template:

1. Click in Download button and save file in PC [hard drive].

2. File that you have downloaded is .ZIP file so need to be extracted. Extract / Unzip it.

3. Log in Blogger dashboard

4. Click Design link in dashboard panel.

5. Now click in Edit HTML link in tab bar.

6. Click Browse button and look for folder that is created after extracted file that you have downloaded.

7. Folder has a XML file and TXT file or Internet shortcut, you select only XML file.

8. Click Upload button.

9. Confirm and Save.
