She was generously given three incredible pieces from their collection. The Lotus Flower Raincoat, is quite adorable and perfectly stylish to suit her upcoming elementary school years. I absolutely adore the scalloped arms and bottom hemline. This rain coat also includes a matching detachable hood. It is made of PVC with a comfortable polyester lining. It appeared and felt quite durable, a raincoat that will definitely survive the years to come.

The Lotus Flower Boots are made of natural rubber and are easy to slip on and off. Kidorable offers fifteen different adorable rain boot styles for girls AND boys. Such unique designs and characters, your kids will be proud to wear them (just like little {e}).

First, Rubbermaid's 2-in-1 Recycler has been a great addition to our home. This particular trash can, although slightly taller, virtually occupies the same amount of floor space as a standard trash can. We typically keep our recycle bins, (yes, I said bins) in the garage. It's nice that we now can save space and now use just the one 2-in-1 Recycler. It larger and can fit more in it than our previous bins and is more visibly pleasing to the eye. Finally, Rubbermaid's 2-in-1 Recycler has made sorting and recycling super easy and convenient for the entire family!

The American Reunion Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is little of a hit and miss. There are some great nostalgia songs that will bring you back to your high school hey day... such as This Is How We Do It as well as Rump Shaker... but in addition to these catchy tunes of the past, there are twice as many current pop songs. I'm not opposed to current pop songs, so I had no issues singing along.

Fun, Delicious and Tasty Veggie Recipes With Country Crock

I don't know about your household, but in ours... vegetables are a hard sell to the kids. No matter how I try and serve them... it's takes a lot of convincing to even get them to try it.

The smart folks at Country Crock just recently introduced something I think my kids are going to LOVE. The Crock Country Chronicles offers easy vegetable recipes ideas that are delicious and more importantly, kid-friendly.

If you head on over to the Crock Country Chronicles, you can download a cookbook for FREE - A Very Veggie World by Clare Crespo.

This particular cookbook offers colorful pictures and inspirational recipes to make serving those veggies a little more fun for the family. From veggie pets to lighting bolts, veggie volcanos to rocket ships, your kids will certainly get a kick out of at least giving those veggies a shot.

For my family, I opted to give the Pasta Full of Posies a try. The recipe was simple to follow and called for the following ingredients:

2 yellow and/or orange bell peppers

1 package (16 oz.) whole wheat penne (or pasta of your choice)

3 Tbsp. Country Crock® Spread
1 Tbsp. olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 5 cherry tomatoes, halved

7 basil or baby spinach leaves

Chop off top and bottom of peppers. Slice down the side, remove the seeds and lay pepper flat. Cut into petal shapes.

Boil pasta according to package directions; drain.

Melt Country Crock® Spread and heat olive oil on the stove over medium heat in a pan big enough to hold pasta. Cook garlic and peppers together for about 5 minutes. With tongs, remove pepper petals and set aside.

Add pasta and cheese to garlic and toss together. Put pasta in shallow serving dish. Arrange tomato halves on top and surround them with pepper petals to make “flowers.” Add a basil or baby spinach leaf to each flower.

Thankfully, I had the majority of ingredients on hand and the directions were easy enough to follow.

First, I wanted to get the pasta started.

Then, gathered my veggies - yellow pepper and cherry tomatoes.

Began to cut my flower petal shapes from the yellow peppers.

Added my Country Crock, along with olive oil to the pan.

Saute the yellow pepper flower petals along with the garlic in the pan.

Removed the flower petals from the pan and added the cooked pasta to the pan, along with the parmesan cheese. Stirred for a minute or so.

Once combined, added to a serving dish and created my posie flowers with the yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach leaves.

I loved how it turned out and so did the kids... they said, "How did you do that?" I thought, YES, they LOVE it. The overall flavor of the pasta was actually more delicious than we expected it to taste. The peppers that were sautéed with Country Crock (with 70% less saturated fat, 30% fewer calories than butter and 0 trans fat) had a nice crisp, roasted flavor. The kids added a little extra parmesan to their pasta mixture and were super pleased! Ahhhh... a veggie success!

We received the new Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Peter Pan Returns 2-Disc DVD and Digital copy set today and my little {e} was thrilled! One of here favorite adventure show, so she was super excited to get to see some new episodes. As with many of the other Jake and the Never Land Pirate shows, these new episodes are kid-friendly for all ages, music is fun to sing and dance along with and there are some little lessons to be learned as well. Overall, a fun and enjoyable show that we had a great time watching and will be seeing many more times in the very near future! I mean, really... who doesn't LOVE Peter Pan... ?

The Ten Commandments, which is narrated by DeMille, was the last film he ever directed.

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

Jesus Christ Superstar is a film adaptation of the rock-opera of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Weber. Released in 1973, the musical centers loosely on the Gospels’ account of the last week of Jesus’ life, beginning with his arrival in Jerusalem and ending with his crucifixion. However, the film also highlights interpersonal struggles between Jesus and his traitor, Judas Iscariot that are not in the Bible.

As soon as our morning begins, we are already running behind. We try to follow the same routine each morning, but have a difficult time staying on track. So, wherever we can make-up some time, we do it!

So, when it comes to breakfast, as a family, we each grab something quick and easy. My husband usually has a bowl of cereal and the kids typically eat waffles or pancakes. On a recent shopping trip to Sam's Club (check it out here), I was in search of an alternate quick breakfast option and came across the Tyson's Breakfast Bread Bowls. These little bread bowls are filled with a combination of scrambled egg, chefs and sausage. To prepare the breakfast bowls, you heat them in the microwave for just under a minute and let them sit for another minute or so and they are ready to eat.

The kids were excited that they could prepare the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls themselves and easily enjoy.

The Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls are available at Sam's Club (packed twelve) for just under ten dollars. Each is packed two per package which made it easy to share between the kids. Overall, the kids really enjoyed them and they are thrilled to have another quick and easy breakfast option!

Xia-Xia for the Nintendo DS is a VERY cute game and easy to play. The game itself is quite easy to navigate and there are a variety of options for play while exploring many different nautical worlds. My kids really enjoyed the option to change and mix up the different shells with their favorite Xia-Xia crab character.

During the nautical fact finding mission they like uncovering and discovering lots of secret rewards. My kids have decided that the game is entertaining and look forward to completing each of the 25 different levels. Should definitely keep them busy!
