RIM BlackBerry Curve series handhelds have so far been directedtoward consumers and those looking for an entry level device. It seems that RIM is going to change things on the handheld device by releasing the Curve in the series 'next-generation' with the code name for RIM BlackBerry Curve Sedona. Currently, the only confirmation comes from this image and various technical featuresof which should be equipped with this new BlackBerry smartphones Curve3.

At the time this new device has a numeric code, even if internally to Research In Motion is known as R010. The blackberry Dakota borrows its design from the Bold range of BlackBerry devices but seems supercharged and a lot more feature rich in comparison.

The Dakota is said to be a Quad-band device with Tri-band UMTS, rocking a 5MP camera with HD video, 4GB of internal storage, 768MB of RAM and a 2.8-inch 640 x 480 screen. Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc handset is merely 8.7 MM in thickness at its slimmest part and packs a large 4.2″ capacitive touchscreen of FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. A mineral glass is installed on top of the LCD screen to protect it from scratches, while the Bravia Engine Mobile improves its image quality.

Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the smartphone offers 8.1 MP camera with the new back-lit Sony Exmor R sensor and 720p HD video recording capabilities. The f/2.4 aperture of the camera lens improves the low-light performance of the XPERIA Arc camera even further.

Among all the present and upcoming handsets the most crucial fight is in between the Nokia E7 vs Nokia C7. Out of these two the latter one is already released and is doing quite well in the market. It has a 3.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with facilities like Nokia ClearBlack display, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate

This combination makes it well in navigation as well in screen protection. The memory storage includes internal memory of 8 GB storage, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM and external support of microSD, up to 32GB. Samsung has unveiled its four new smartphones based on its Bada operating system. The new phones- Wave 525, Wave 533, Wave 723 and Omnia 652 come priced between Rs. 8,800 and Rs.10,600.
Samsung’s new launch comes with all the standard features of smartphones at affordable prices.
The Wave 525 has 3.2 inches wide touch-screen with 240 x 400 resolution. The phone is also equipped with 3.15 mega pixels camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, 100MB of internal storage and up to 16GB microSD cards. The Samsung Wave 525 comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,800.

Samsung Wave 533 has a slider QWERTY keypad along with touch-screen comes priced at Rs. 9,990.

The Wave 723 is a cut above the other two models. The phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS and comes with microSD cards up to 16GB. Samsung boasts of the 5 mega pixels camera with an LED flash that offers crystal clear images. The Samsung Wave 723 has been priced at Rs. 13,500.

The other high-end model in its recent launch is Samsung Omnia 652, which has a QWERTY keypad. With 2.4 inches touch-screen, the phone supports more advanced features like Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G. The phone has an internal storage of 220MB and supports microSD cards up to 16GB. The Omnia 652 is priced at Rs. 10,600.
