Feature: v22000 Aluminum Bumper Case by S.K.Joo

Today we present to you the beautifully crafted Aluminum v22000 Metal Bumper Case. Korean born designer S.K.Joo designs bicycle frames as well as wheels, which gives an insight as to the type of background a designer who would develop such a case could have. less than 500 cases have been, by Joo with a colleague of his.

The process begins by preparing a aluminum sheet which has 2.5 mm or 0.098 inch thickness, followed by cutting the sheet to the same size as the case. Once prepared the aluminium sheet will undergo a makeover via a CNC machine. After sanding the surface, coloring the case Joo then laser marks the case.

The case comes in Silver, as seen in our pictures, as well as Black and Red which has reasently been added to the shortlist.

T.O.U.K: Summer Spring 2012 Lookbook

Today I present to you T.O.U.K, short for Takeover UK. The T.O.U.K consists of a very tight community/cult of ambitious and laid back creative's whom are involved in many creative sectors, such as Street Art, Skateboarding, Photography, Music and Design. The young crew, founded in 2010, have been going from strength to strength since their very first release, the hand bleached DIY tees. Originally starting as a brand, then evolving into a lifestyle movement the crew have been fully representing their local street culture. In regards to their brand T.O.U.K is pushing a confident body of work which consists of bold and fearless apparel as well as an "GETDOWN OR LAY DOWN" mentality.

On the 20th June we saw T.O.U.K drop their first Summer Spring 2012 look book, which was set on a roof top of their local area Kettering in Northamptonshire UK. On the 24th of June the dope menswear and womenswear seen in their lookbook where released to the public and are still currently available for purchase exclusively at www.touk.bigcartel.com. Judging from the quality of their items they clearly aren't going to last long and will be gone before you know it.

The first item is the K-team chino. Shape, cut, colour and fabric is totally on point with this piece, but it is the detailing and quality of the construction that puts this head and shoulders above the competition. "I have always been really into streetwear clothing from an early age when I was a teenager and used to skate. After an operation on both my feet the skateboarding stopped but my love for clothing stayed. After uni I started doing fashion photography for about 6 years before starting the site. The site is a culmination of the music, the skating, photography and the clothing. The site is building in brands with Crooks and Castle available from summer 2012 and a brilliant new UK brand Represent Clothing which is definitely going to be huge (one to look out for). Represent Clothing will be on the site over the next couple of weeks. We have an audio section to the site, something which we are building on to promote new talent. We hold regular mix competitions to win clothing and also get peoples music onto our audio section to promote artists.
