THINGS TO TAKE CARE OF WHILE PURCHASING A HD TV

nikhil2himanshu@gmail.com ( Himanshu Sharma & Nikhil Malik) — Tue, 25 Feb 2014 20:50:00 +0000

samsung smart HD tv

For all the Gadgets freaks , Gadgetsorbit4u this time has bring up with the article on how to buy a Flat panel advanced televisions. people those who are looking for the new television can follow some of the tips given in the article below. while buying a television , it is very common that a salesman will try to confuse you with the lots of technical terms which will actually confuse you.

now some of the people are confused between the term LED , LCD and PLASMA??

so read out the following paragraph to understand the terms.
LCD Tv, we have a display screen that is charged by Liquid Crystal Technique and CFL Bulb. which is actually not energy efficient in compare to LED Tv. and if we talk about the Plasma TV. It have a Good display screen angle but the thing is it consumes more electricity than LED tv. so if you are looking forward for energy efficient TV , than we suggest you to go for LED TV.

Which SIZE to prefer while purchasing a TV?

Size is also another concern for the consumers while buying a TV. well if we talk about the size , so there are alot of options that are available in the market. which have a range between 19 inches to 65 inches yet.
now if you are also confused to take decision between which size to go for. there is a new solution to it. there is a formula for better viewing quality according to the viewing distance.
lets say if your viewing distance is 5 inches that is equivalent to 60 inches so the minimum size you should go for that is viewing distance upon 3. i.e 60/3 = 20 inch.
and to calculate the maximum distance so divide it by 1.5 i.e 60/1.5= 40 inch.

so decide according to your viewing distance.

HD TV

CONTRAST RATIO:

This is the technical term which can confuse while dealing with the salesman. Nowadays, we have a ratio of 100000:1 to 1000000:1 . the measurement ratio depends upon the different companies .

in Earlier times , there were Static ratio, but now the manufacturers trick has worked. as to turn of the light when there is black picture has to be displayed. so this one is also a tricky one. and not has to be provided a lot of attention to it.

High Definition / Full HD:

A HD ready is said to be when we require an additional HD set top box then it is said to be a HD Ready . and the other which have an inbuilt HDTV tuner , is known as the HD TV.

and if we also state this in another words it is said to be that the TV which is able to catch the HD signal of its own , is said to be HD tv, and the one which need to receive the signals through the external sources like additional private set top box. is called HD Ready.

If we talk about the Indian market and the Indian scenarios we prefer you to go for HD ready Tv also. because , now also in India , govt. has now provided HD broadcast , that is now provided through the DTH service providers. but also those who don't consider for the budget as a main point can also go for the FULL HD TV.

These were the some of the important areas which we need to look for while purchasing a TV. along with these points we have additionally more of the points to be taken care of like the TV supports the 3 HDMI ports. which we require for further process like one for HD set top box, one for games and the other for players.
