"Farrah Abraham" appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 3 Sep 2012 15:55:00 -0700

Farrah Abraham appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show earlier this morning to chat about the Teen Mom series finale which airs next week on MTV. While on the show, Farrah revealed some surprising news including the big reveal of her new boyfriend. That’s right, Farrah’s got a man and she plans on holding on to this one!

Farrah had gone on a date back in June with one of the staffers on Ryan’s show, John Parra, and the two really hit it off. Farrah tell Ryan that they have been talking “like every day for two months.” In fact, things are going so good that Farrah is even crashing at his place with her daughter Sophia while she’s in Los Angeles to promote the series finale of Teen Mom.

Last night, Farrah and John went out for sushi in Chino Hills. “It was like a sleepover,” Farrah told Ryan. “He has an awesome family and they’re super fun.” (I’m assuming that means Farrah didn’t drop another "lone bird" bomb.) Farrah also revealed that when they woke up, they found a huge mess in John’s refrigerator, courtesy of Sophia.

On top of her new relationship, Farrah announced another big change — she moved back to Omaha, Nebraska, with her family. After more than a year in Miami, Farrah has returned to her roots. However, now that she’s in a relationship with John, could a Los Angeles move be in her future? It’s a possibility but it would be difficult for her to manage her restaurant in Omaha! During a recent Ustream chat, Farrah revealed plans to open F & S (which stands for Farrah & Sophia) in the city “soon.” No word on an exact date or location. (Any Omaha locals wanna help us out?)

Farrah also hinted at a possible reality show comeback — something we initially reported on back in March. She told Ryan, “Cameras will probably still be in my life moving forward, but I’m just happy that I get to show the older side of me now.”

For more of Farrah Abraham, tune in to the final episode of Teen Mom this Tuesday night at 10/9c.

In the Republican Convention last week, U.S. President Barack Obama reaped insults and criticism from the party's politicians. One of the most gets the attention of the American public is shown monologue legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood.

Standing behind a podium, Eastwood talking to an empty chair next to him. The chair was likened to President Obama. Eastwood mocks Obama and his policies. Eastwood said, Obama failed to fulfill his campaign promises.

Obama responded with a casual scorn. In an interview with USA Today on the presidential plane Air Force One, Sunday (02/09/2012), Obama insisted he was not offended by the remark Eastwood.

"One thing about being president or running for president (is) - if easily offended, maybe you should choose another profession," said Obama.

Criticism Eastwood does not make Obama stop idolizing actors who in his youth was nicknamed "Dirty Harry" for his role in the film of the same.

"I'm still a big fan of Clint Eastwood. He a great actor, even more powerful as a director. According to me, some very good films his latest work," Obama said, in the course of the campaign in Iowa.

Obama did not intend to "avenge" the act of the 82-year-old actor at the Democratic Convention to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, starting on Tuesday (04/09/2012).

Bill Nye: Creationism Is Not Appropriate For Children

Bill Nye: Creationism Is Not Appropriate For Children
Evolution is the fundamental idea in all of life science, in all of biology. According to Bill Nye, aka "the science guy," if grownups want to "deny evolution and live in your world that's completely inconsistent with everything we observe in the universe, that's fine, but don't make your kids do it because we need them."

Transcript:
Denial of evolution is unique to the United States. I mean, we're the world's most advanced technological—I mean, you could say Japan—but generally, the United States is where most of the innovations still happens. People still move to the United States. And that's largely because of the intellectual capital we have, the general understanding of science. When you have a portion of the population that doesn't believe in that, it holds everybody back, really.

Evolution is the fundamental idea in all of life science, in all of biology. It's like, it's very much analogous to trying to do geology without believing in tectonic plates. You're just not going to get the right answer. Your whole world is just going to be a mystery instead of an exciting place.

As my old professor, Carl Sagan, said, "When you're in love you want to tell the world." So, once in a while I get people that really—or that claim—they don't believe in evolution. And my response generally is "Well, why not? Really, why not?" Your world just becomes fantastically complicated when you don't believe in evolution. I mean, here are these ancient dinosaur bones or fossils, here is radioactivity, here are distant stars that are just like our star but they're at a different point in their lifecycle. The idea of deep time, of this billions of years, explains so much of the world around us. If you try to ignore that, your world view just becomes crazy, just untenable, itself inconsistent.

And I say to the grownups, if you want to deny evolution and live in your world, in your world that's completely inconsistent with everything we observe in the universe, that's fine, but don't make your kids do it because we need them. We need scientifically literate voters and taxpayers for the future. We need people that can—we need engineers that can build stuff, solve problems.

It's just really hard a thing, it's really a hard thing. You know, in another couple of centuries that world view, I'm sure, will be, it just won't exist. There's no evidence for it.

What is the DNS Changer Malware?

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 11 Jul 2012 09:06:00 -0700

If you are reading this page, it means you are NOT infected with DNS Changer. Your device might still be violated with other malware. We recommend safe computing practices to protect your self while on-line. On November 8, the FBI, the NASA-OIG and Estonian police arrested several cyber criminals in “Operation Ghost Click”. The criminals operated under the company name “Rove Digital”, and distributed DNS changing viruses, variously known as TDSS, Alureon, TidServ and TDL4 viruses. You can read more about the arrest of the Rove Digital principals here, and in the FBI Press Release. What does the DNS Changer Malware do? The botnet operated by Rove Digital altered user DNS settings, pointing victims to malicious DNS in data centers in Estonia, New York, and Chicago. The malicious DNS servers would give fake, malicious answers, altering user searches, and promoting fake and dangerous products. Because every web search starts with DNS, the malware showed users an altered version of the Internet. Under a court order, expiring July 9, the Internet Systems Consortium is operating replacement DNS servers for the Rove Digital network. This will allow affected networks time to identify infected hosts, and avoid sudden disruption of services to victim machines. How Can I Protect Myself? This page describes how you can determine if you are infected, and how you can clean infected machines.
