A Dialogue Between A Muwahhid And A Munafiq

Here is a light dialogue between al-Haq (Muwahhid) and al-Bathil (Munafiq) about the urgency of Jihad fie sabilillah. This dialogue will show how this Munafiq wants to twist the meaning of Jihad to become ambiguous, however the Muwahhid was able to hit back and straighten things out with answers that are very intelligent sourced from Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadith. Hope this dialogue can educate and open the hearts of those who hate jihad, Insha Allah.

“Do you know about Jihad fie sabilillah ?”

[Muwahhid]
We're not going to answer it by rationality, we'll answer it as how Rasulullah answered when the Sahabahs asked about it:

“What is the best hijrah?” He answered, “Al Jihad Fie sabilillah”, they asked, “What is jihad, O Rasulullah?” He answered, “Fighting the Kuffar if you meet them (at war)”.
They asked, “What is the best jihad?” He answered, “The one whose horse is slain and his blood is spilled”. (Musnad Imam Ahmad)

In another narration, the Sahabah asked, “Which is the best (condition) of getting killed?” Rasulullah answered, “A person whose blood is spilled and his horse is slain.” (Abu Daud)

Hence, no man is able to say that the best jihad is seeking knowledge and so on, but the best jihad is getting killed. Also in the narration of Bukhari and Muslim, Rasulullah said:

“Go and return to the battlefield for Allah, it's better than the world and all its contents and the best Ghazwa is when his blood is spilled and his horse is slain.”

But our time today is not the same as in the past, where there was a Khilafah and so on, today there is no jihad with the swords, but today it is jihad with the pens, satellites and so on, through economics, voting and so on… We have to build the infrastructure of the Ummah before we go to war.

The reason why we must fight today is because Allah commands us:

“So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.” (QS An-Nisaa: 84)

Allah makes it clear that we only have to strive and Allah will next determine the result. Stopping the jihad and preventing the Mujahideen or discouraging the people from fighting is the character of the Munafiqun. Allah Ta’ala says:

“So when you meet those kuffar [in battle], strike [their] necks….” (QS Muhammad 47: 4)

Allah does not say, when you are encountering the enemy, “seek knowledge” or “build the infrastructure”, but Allah commands us to fight them.

Furthermore, Allah commands us to call towards goodness and prevent munkar. A form of calling towards goodness and preventing munkar is to call on people to perform solat, fasting, helping the needy, etc., and among the things which has been agreed upon by the Ulama's is:

“There is none that can match the jihad fie sabilillah (when it becomes fardhu ‘ain)”

At the time when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it is even above solat, zakat, hajj and all other ibaadahs, when we are fighting in a defensive jihad, jihad is our solat, we cannot stop the jihad even for solat, so how can we stop the jihad on the aim of seeking knowledge?

We cannot conduct jihad; if we have debts, pay the debt first.

[Muwahhid]
In the defensive jihad we do not need to pay the debt, Imam Ibnu Qudama Al Maqdisi in Al-Mughni volume 9, said:

“If jihad becomes Fardhu ‘ain, he does not have to ask permission from the person who gives him loans, that was the text of Imam Ahmad, from Ibnu Abbas, “If jihad becomes fardhu, 'ain he does not need to seek permission from the people who lent him the debt.”

Accomplish Solat first.

[Muwahhid]
Solat is an obligation and leaving it is kufr, but when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it becomes more important than solat, the Imams of the four madzhab agreed that solat is fardhu, fasting is fardhu, zakat is fardhu, but when jihad becomes fardhu ‘ain, it is more important than all of the other ibaadahs, but he should be doing it as much as possible if he can do it, Imam Ahmad in fact said:

“If the enemies come, then during the time he is fighting, he is not responsible for all other obligations until the enemies stop.”

Imam Qurtubi said:

“It is a duty upon the Imam to keep conquering the enemies every year…”

Ibnu Katsir said:

“We must fight the kuffar, who are the nearest until we walk to come to them.”

Allah says:

“O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers.” (At-Tawbah : 123)

This has implications, if the enemies enter our country, they are very near to us, then we must fight against them, if they do not enter the Muslim countries but the government is declaring Kufr Bawah (Clear Blasphemy), they are the enemies who are the nearest to us. Then, if there is a Khilafah, the nearesr enemies are the Kuffar who are outside the boundary of a country who do not have an agreement with us.

Why do we fight (go to war)?

[Muwahhid]
Because we are not Munafiqun and someone who does not go to war is a Munafiq, Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“Whosoever dies without participating in an expedition (Jihad) nor having the intention to do so, dies on a branch of Nifaq (hypocrisy).”

And if we do not say so, Allah says:

“If you do not fight, He will punish you severely.”

Rasulullah said:

“Someone who does not fight, nor making preparation for the people who fight, nor looking after the families of those who fight, Allah will send him an adzab until the judgment day.”

After jihad, what do you do as a substitute? We need engineers, doctors, etc.

[Muwahhid]
We need engineers to build buildings, but it becomes unimportant if the Kuffar are still killing Muslims, Allah says:

“So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.” (QS An Nisaa, 4: 84)

Allah never commands us to terrify the Kuffar with the titles, status and education, Allah says:

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.” (QS Al-Anfal, 8: 60)

Why Do We Need The Khilafah?

The presence of a demand by a handful of parties who asked that the government should dissolve the Islamic organizations that called for the Khilafah, surely ought to be questioned. Considering that the obligation of establishing the Khilafah is a shar'ie obligation which has clear daleels based on the Qur’an, Sunnah and Ijma’ of the Companions. It is not surprising that the madzhab imams and the ulama's agreed on the obligation.

Imam al-Qurthubi in his tafseer, al-Jâmi’ li Ahkâm al-Qur`ân stated that there is no difference of opinion among the ummah, as well as the ulama's, about the wajib ruling on appointing a Khalifah, except that was reported from Al-Asham, who indeed is Asham (deaf) from the shari'ah. In tune with that, Imam an-Nawawi in his kitab, Sharah Saheeh Muslim wrote that the ummah and the ulama's had agreed on this obligation.

The existence of a Khilafah is absolutely necessary in relation to three important matters in Islam. First, the obligation of the implementation of Islamic Shari'ah in kaffah (fullness) which is the consequence of a Muslim's iman. It is impossible for it to become a reality without the existence of the Khilafah. Because, only the system of Khilafah has a clear pillar, namely sovereignty in the hands of shara' (Islamic) law.

While other systems like democracy, kingdom or theocracy handed over the sovereignty of the source of law to men.

Second, the Khilafah is needed by the ummah for the unity of Muslims. The obligation of the Muslim unity is an absolute matter (qat’i) which is commanded by the shara’ law. The unity of the ummah cannot be relinquished from the unity of the leadership of Muslims worldwide. And this will be realized if amongst Muslims, there is one Khalifah for the entire Islamic world.

About this wajib ruling of having one leader for the Islamic ummah worldwide, it was affirmed by Rasulullah SAW in his hadith about the obligation of giving bai’ah (pledge of allegiance) to one Khalifah and the instruction to kill anyone who claims to be the second Khalifah, after the first Khalifah has existed. Rasulullah SAW said: "If the bai’ah is given to 2 rulers (Khalifatain), kill the latter of them." (HR Muslim). Based on this, Imam an-Nawawi said, “The ulama's have agreed that it is not allowed to give the bai’ah to two Khalifahs at the same time, whether the territories of the Islamic State is big or otherwise.”

Meanwhile, the nation state system and the kingdom adopted by Muslims today have obviously been dividing the Islamic ummah and hindering a single leadership in the body of the Islamic ummah.

Third, the Khilafah is needed by the ummah to take care of and protect the Muslims. Because the main function of the Imam that becomes the head of state (Khalifah) in Islam is ar-ra’in (caretaker) and al-junnah (protector) of the ummah.

Based on this, it is the responsibility of the state to ensure the fundamental needs of every individual citizen (food, clothing and shelter), which includes guaranteeing free education and healthcare for all its people. For that, the Khalifah will manage properly the public ownership (milkiyah ‘amah) such as gold mine, oil, coal, where the amount is abundant, for the benefit of the people.

While in the system of democracy, the leaders no longer serve as the caretaker of the society, but the extortioners of the people for the benefit of the capitalists. The politics of democracy becomes a money machine to regain the political capital that was expensive or to give the way of collusion to the elite cronies of politics to enrich themselves by means of corruption and connivance.

The absence of the Khilafah has made the Muslims without any protector. Besides their land and riches being robbed, millions of Muslims are killed by the invaders. The lives of Muslims are so cheap without anyone to protect them. Whereas, Rasulullah SAW explicitly said that for Allah the destruction of the Earth with its contents is lighter compared with the killing of a life of a Muslim without any haq (valid) reason.

It is already proven that the existence of the rulers of Muslims today is unable to protect their people. In fact, they are the murderers of their own people. They give way to the imperialist states to kill their own people in the name of war on terror.

Then, where is the danger of the Khilafah that will implement the Islamic Shari'ah which is sourced from Allah SWT, the Khilafah that will unite the ummah, the Khilafah that will take care of and protect the ummah?

Indeed, the return of the Khilafah is very dangerous for the invader countries because it will end their imperialism in the Islamic world. The Khilafah is also dangerous for the rulers of the Muslim countries who have become the puppets of the West which are shedding the blood of Muslims and give them ways to loot the Muslim countries. Because the Khilafah will bring down the traitor leaders like them.

As a result, anyone who propagandizes the danger of the Khilafah or obstructs the establishment of the Khilafah, consciously or not, directly or not, has become the trumpet of the invaders. Indeed, they are not on the side of the Muslims and Islam!

Death Is Beautiful

Death is Beautiful, for anyone who believes in Allah as the Lord of all the worlds, His Prophets and Messengers, His Angels, His Scriptures, the Last Day, all the Ordinances of Allah, they (the Muslims) who walk upon goodness, so much so that death is an awaited moment.

“O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].” (QS. Ali Imran : 102)

There was an interesting conversation between an Ustadz and the jama'ah (congregation) of his religious teaching consisting of senior women. The Ustadz asked his jama'ah, “Do you Ma'ams want to enter paradise?”

All the women answered in unison, “Yeeess….”

The Ustadz asked again, “Don't you Ma'ams want to die today?”

No one answered. Apparently, not even a person wished to die.

With a smile, the Ustadz said, “Then, how can we go to paradise, if we are never dead”. The Ustadz continued his question, “Do you Ma'ams want me to pray for your long life?”

Enthusiastically, they all answered, “Yeeess….”

The Ustadz asked again, “How long do you Ma'ams want to live? A hundred years? Two hundred or even a thousand years?

Even the 80-year old people are already looking awkward, not to mention those who are over a hundred years of age.”

It turned out that the questions just now did not end there. The Ustadz still kept on asking, “Ma'ams, do you love Allah?”

The answer could be guessed. The senior women simultaneously answered yes.

The Ustadz then said, “Usually when a person falls in love, he/she always long to met with his/her lover, don't you Ma'ams already long to meet with Allah?”

Silence. No one answered.

Most of us are horrified to talk about death. Forget about talking about it, we do not even dare to imagine it. It is because we are not prepared to face the events after death. Whereas, either prepared or not, we would certainly go through it. Ready or not ready, death will surely come to greet us. Rather than being evasive always, it is better that from now on we start to prepare ourselves to encounter death.

The best preparation is to always remember death. Convince ourselves that death is a door toward Allah. Death is the route to a beautiful place, paradise. By always remembering death, we will always strive to make every action that we do as a step toward the paradise that is full of bliss.

The essence of the human life is a journey back toward Allah. In this brief journey, there are those who return safely, but there are also those who are lost in hell. We are too preoccupied with the dunya (world) to the point that we feel that it is this dunya that is the real life. We seem to forget that this life is only a transit to seek provisions home. The luster beauty of this dunya make us sound asleep to tread on the path home.

Rasulullah once said that the smartest person is the one who always remember death. In other words, the smartest person is the one who has vision far into the future. By always remembering his vision and the purpose of his life, he will always be passionate in stepping ahead. The vision of a Muslim is not only limited to the life in this world but more than that, his vision is far away crossing the boundary of the life in this world. The vision of a Muslim is to return and meet with Allah. For him, the moments of death are the beautiful moments because he will soon meet with the beloved who has been sorely missed.

Sometimes we fear of dying because death will separate us with our loved ones. Parents, siblings, husband/wife, children, this shows that we love them more than Allah. If we truly love Allah, then death is like a loving invitation from Allah.

Rasulullah SAW said: “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him.” Aishah then asked, “We hate death.” The prophet (SAW) replied, “That’s not what I meant; when the believer is about to die, he is given glad tidings with the pleasure of Allah and His blessings, so there is nothing in front of the believer better than that, so he loves to meet Allah and Allah loves to meet him. And also when the non-believer is about to die, he is told about the punishment of Allah that will fall on him, so there is nothing more disliked to him than that, so he hates to meet Allah and Allah hates to meet him.”

However, we should not ask to die. Dying in vain and without an apparent cause will instead distance us from Allah. The suicide death is a manifestation of the despair over Allah's compassion. Wanting to die very soon because of the difficulties of the world signifies that we want to escape from the realities of life.

“None amongst you should make a request for death, and do not pray for it before it comes, for when any of you dies, he ceases (to do good) deeds and the life of a believer is not prolonged but for goodness.” (HR Muslim)

A good death is to die in an attempt to be a mercy for the whole universe. Dying in an attempt to bring about the greatest ideals, namely the peace and well-being of the human race just like the earlier Prophets and Rasulullah SAW, as well as the Sahabahs and the followers of Rasulullah SAW who had been shaheed in Allah's cause.

“He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.” (QS. As-Saff: 12)

Finally, the ones who are saved are those who realize that all the wealth and power are the means to get back to Allah. Their bodies might be soaked and drenched in blood, tears and sweats, working hard to subdue the world but their hearts remain only tied to the beloved, Allah SWT. The most important is how we can work hard, think smart and have a sincere heart.

“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging. Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer.” (QS. Al Kahfi: 107-108)

“So for this let the competitors compete.” (QS. Al Muthaffifin: 26)

O Owner of the dunya, teach us how to subdue the dunya, instead of us being subservient to the dunya. When the glitters of the dunya bedazzle our view, when the sprinkles of the world jewels thrill our hearts, remind us O Allah. Remind that Your pleasure and Your compassion are greater than the mere dunya which will be left behind for certain. O Allah make out feet firm in treading on the struggle in Your cause until you are pleased with us and enter us into Your paradise the highest where we would see Your Face Most Beautiful. Amin.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Diapered U.S. soldiers

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

There have been startling reports in the different blogs and websites and media release circulating around “diaper scarcity” or “the US-NATO troops in diapers” over the past couple of weeks.

Few days ago, I came upon an amusingly newsworthy report under the title “diapered soldier” or so that I’d kind of like to share with you.

According to the newspaper reports, the US authorities have quietly and unofficially requested the Pakistani authorities for the immediate provision of the tissue paper and pampers in the recent times.

A diplomatic source and press release said that the highly-secured and well-equipped US-NATO troops can not venture out of the heavily-protected armored personnel carriers to relieve themselves for the fear of facing Mujahideen, as a result, the only option the US-NATO troops are left with is to have on pampers so that they ease themselves comfortably while confronting Taliban.

To put it simply, the latter choice for the US-NATO in case of lack of diapers while fighting Taliban would be quite an embarrassing and humiliating one. Can you imagine what it would be?” pissing their paints during the fight.”!!!

I'll let you into a little secret though; some press release has even revealed that the US-NATO forces uncontrollably pee in their pants during the fight with Mujahideen, or for the fear of attack by Taliban.

Mind you, I, for one, guess it is a fairly good idea for the US-NATO forces to wear diapers without any fear of soiling their uniforms.

So 'Let us not stand between a US soldier and his diaper, as the news reports put it.

Ansar Abbasi, an eminent writer and editor for one of the newspapers from Pakistan, The News International has surfaced interesting facts by issuing a funny column” Pamper (Diaper) Army (US).”

He said the spokesman of ISAf in Afghanistan was contacted regarding this issue who argued that he was neither a soldier nor did he know that the US Marines and NATO soldiers wear diapers while fighting their war against Taliban inside Afghanistan.

Ansar Abbasi further said in his article that US Embassy spokesman Mark Stroh sent through a mobile SMS, what he called, a “denial” of the reality and The News story (a brazen denial by Mark Stroh), adding that besides him the Isaf Deputy PAO Col Gary Kolb could also be cited to have said this.

Since the emergence of the issue of “ diaper crisis faced by US-NATO forces on the ground and its resulting consequences” the Pakistani authorities have refused to allow the provision of the US-NATO supplies on an urgent basis.

However, it is believed that the Pakistan government has been advised to retrieve a large supply of diapers from the Nato containers and urgently send them to the US forces in Afghanistan which, on the one hand, would be of a humanitarian assistance; on the other hand, would clear the Pakistan government further of charges and involvement in the issue. Further delay in supplies by Pakistani authorities and failure to comply with the US demands may lead to the emergence of a far more fatally toxic stench in Afghanistan than that of phosphorus and uranium bombs previously exercised by US which would turn the sweet-smelling aroma of flowers and roses of the upcoming spring into the smell of death and mourning!

To tell you the truth, the current Afghan War in connection with the very heated issue opened up a whole new chapter in the global history from the combative aspect as there used to be weaponry such as sword, shield, javelin which developed into gun, artillery. rocket, armored tank, fighter craft, pilotless plane in the modern sense of the word and so forth, while “ a US soldier wearing a military nappy” is the most up-to-the-minute term the we have recently come across for the first time in the world history and his” diaper” is an unusually extraordinary weapon and armor, isn't it?

It is the destiny of a country with the most modern industry and state-of-the-art technology worldwide, strange as it may seem.

It reminds me of a well-know Arabic quotation” السیف بالساعد لا الساعد بالسیف” which, figuratively speaking, indicates that it is the hand that uses the sword, not the sword that uses the hand ,that is, the actual power behind the sword is that of a powerful hand, or the sword is of no use without a stronger hand which leads us to the conclusion that you have to be man enough to use your weapon in the battle field or will certainly need to use a diaper to help support the weapon and avoid the side effect.

It is a proven fact that when the faith goes out of some one and belief, courage, and spirit desert their hearts, the worldly arms and logistic support would never do them any good. On the other way round, anyone equipped with power of true faith and spirit of Jihad will single handedly have the entire army taste embarrassing defeat and humiliation no matter how arrogant and exploitive it may be.

The likelihood is that the America and her allies, by now, may have realized the fact their pipe-dream would no longer come true in Afghanistan; they had better leave our country or they are sure to ask Pakistan for the their soldiers’ coffins, too, along with the toilet papers and diapers.

Between Shiah, The West And Global Jihad: The Dilemma Of The Arab Future

The tension of the upheaval in the Middle East is getting hotter, although some others are already in the phase of the post-crisis, what remains for them is only to program the future. But some news that developed in the Middle East this recently affirmed that the Middle East is entering a new era that becomes an arena of competition for the three important components of the world power.

The three powers do not simply represent the military strength, but also the power of the ideologies and masses. Each of the Shiah, Al-Qaeda and the West (in which includes Israel and the crony rulers that have not yet collapsed). The three of them are the most potential powers to control the Middle East after the crisis. Due to that, it is interesting to analyze what would the Middle East be like in 10 or 20 years from now.

We assume that the task of overthrowing the Arab regimes will, most of it, be completed by the year 2012. What will happen after that?

The West and Israel

The West and Israel are always in the position of supporting any regime that rules in the Middle East as long as the two conditions are met; not supporting terrorism and being cooperative in selling oil to the West. They basically do not make a fuss of the repressive attitudes of the regimes against their subjects. Even if they voice out criticisms, it is no more than a 'lips sweetener' as a high-level political platitudes.

The West has long known the authoritarian attitude of Hosni Mubarak, Gaddafi and other tyrants towards their people, but was only silent all these while, not doing any meaningful action. The West had been hostile towards the regime of Muammar Gaddafi only because he ordered the bombing of an aircraft belonging to the West at Lockerbie. It was totally unrelated with his brutality against his people.

After Gaddafi ‘apologized’ to the West, the West could afford to be embracing Gaddafi, as if there was no problem before. It's reasonably so because he was cooperative in selling his country's natural resources, and more importantly, he was very anti-Al-Qaeda and terrorism (read: jihad).

But when Gaddafi started to be abandoned by his people and cornered, the West was not reluctant to cast him out. This pattern became the standard attitude of the West against whichever regimes in the Middle East, in fact in the world.

The bottom line is, the West sees the potential of the Middle East and North Africa in just two strategic considerations; how far their natural resources can be utilized, and how far are the distance between the rulers and the terrorism movement, as an effort to protect Israel. The problem is, the West, led by America, are being pestered by problems over and over again. The economic crisis that is getting more and more acute, and the moral deterioration of their forces on all battle fronts (to not say defeat) make them choose to be cautious in addressing them.

Meaning, this upheaval in the Middle East has already been a bit too late for America and the West in general, because they are already mired in the wallows of Afghanistan and Iraq, that makes them no longer able to move agilely. Previously, when America was still powerful, an upheaval of this kind was going to be a golden opportunity, as there was no rival. But today, the rivals are already many.

But this by no means mean that the West is already paralyzed. They are still potent and dangerous, but it is no longer the single player in taking advantage of the momentum of this kind of upheaval, not to mention in a region as important as the Middle East which is the main theater of the world turmoils.

Shiah, The Most Real Threat

The time when Hosni Mubarak was in power, behind his inhumanity to the people, there's a geopolitical interest that was not realized, namely his hatred against Iran. Since Iran successfully toppled the tyrannical regime of Reza Pahlevi in 1979, and the direction of the state changed into a pure Shiah state, Egypt never allowed Iran's ship to pass through the Suez Canal. But after Egypt overthrew Hosni Mubarak, for the first time the Suez canal was traversed by Iran's warships.

The unrest in Bahrain is also troubling, where its demonstrators are Shiah, fighting against the regime which is Sunni. Saudi Arabia is in a dilemmatic position, if it allows the regime of Bahrain to be overthrown by the Shiah demonstrators, it means that the Sunni regime, which obviously is the friend of Saudi Arabia, would be gone. It's clear that Saudi Arabia is in danger, because the threat of the Shiah is increasingly nearing its border lines. Although it will invite a crooked look from the international world, Saudi Arabia feels the need to send an army directly to Bahrain, as an effort to curb the advance of the Shiah.

Not much different from Oman, Kuwait and Yemen, all of which hold a large enough potential of the adherents of Shiah. If these people's upheaval can be played well by Iran, it is not impossible that Saudi Arabia will be more and more desperate by the advance of the Shiite Iran's influence in the region. Even before the unrest broke out, the Houtsi rebels in Yemen had already been troubling the Saudi.

Not to mention the Saudi domestic upheaval, which was also spurred on by the adherents of Shiah, who to begin with, are of the Saudi nationals. They are concentrated in the cities of the eastern part of Saudi Arabia, such as Hufuf, Qatif and Awamiya. The Saudi regime who are Sunni are being hit by the people's movement which is mounted up by the Shiah.

If this development should go on, it will be getting bigger, making the Middle East in real danger and threat from the Shiahs and Iran. True, history will always rotate in the same axis. If in the past, latent rivalry happened between the Arabs and the Persians, today that his history is repeated. Now the Arabs are represented by Saudi Arabia and the Persians are represented by Iran. And Iran, since the old days, has always been a major cause of problems, because it was destined to be a fertile land for the expansion of the various deviations and malice. It's no surprise in the history of Persia, they most often associated themselves and were always mutually cooperative with the Jews.

Iran is currently in a golden age with its Shiah. Since it stopped waging war against Iraq in the 80's, the concentration of its practice is only in spreading influence through its Shiah teachings to the entire regions, or even the world. In fact, Indonesia is being made as an object of serious cultivation. Not less than 300 Indonesian students are groomed every year with the Shiah teachings in Qum, Iran and other cities to become the cadres of Shiah fighters in the land of Indonesia. They are known to be cunning, because it does not bring in a new Prophet, but only rebukes the Prophet's Sahabahs. But the essence of its teaching is instilling burning hatred against the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah who are the majority in this country (Indonesia -ed.).

It may be said that Iran is having more chance in taking advantage of the upheavals in the Middle East compared to the West, due to a number of factors:

1. Iran is a wealthy country with oil money in abundance, beaten only by Saudi Arabia.

2. Iran is not involved in war with any nation, thus their finances are intact.

3. Iran has accomplices in all countries in the Middle East with their Shiah teachings. They can be utilized for deflecting the agenda of the reformation, or at least reduce the resistance of the Sunni community against the teachings of Shiah.

4. Iran is very close to the spots of upheavals in the Middle East, and the people are having a relatively similar posture, they can also speak Arabic. It is easy for them to infiltrate, especially that it is supported by their aqeedah of Taqiyah, which allows them to pretend to be Sunni to cut up from within.

5. Iran is also self-sufficient technologically, which could become an alternative for the society in the Middle East which rejects the West. Its military is also strong, in fact it could even be the strongest in the region.

6. Iran is also consistent in its pretension by appearing hostile to America and Israel, which makes it hard for the people of the Middle East to neglect Iran, eg. in the case of the defense of Gaza.

7. Iran is also not bothered by Al-Qaeda, different from Saudi Arabia or the West. It's reasonably so because Al-Qaeda can only operate where there is a base of its Sunnis, while Iran has very few Sunni adherents. Meaning, Iran's economy and military strength is in a stable condition, no other meaningful disturbance.

With all these considerations, hence it can be inferred that Iran with its Shiah will continue to flap its wings to a number of territories in the Middle East and North Africa to imbed its hegemony. The era of upheaval and its fruit afterward, in the form of an openness, can be taken advantage of to its full potential by Iran, at a time when other regional Sunni countries are busy with their own businesses.

Such as Egypt, when the Ikhwan activists are busy fighting against the secular in determining the colour of their country, the Shiahs are freely preaching in the middle of the society. There is no longer a law or rule that can prevent them, because the era is already open. In 10 or 20 years from now, Iran will only have to reap the results. The same goes with the other countries.

Iran vs Al-Qaeda and Global Jihadis

The series of trials that Allah gives to the Islamic ummah in order to elevate its status, turns out to have come in turn very quickly. When Al-Qaeda and the activists of global jihad are being tested in terms of their resilience, by fighting against the world superpower – America – in several places at once, the Shiahs with the support of Iran are already writhing. The Shiahs and Iran are ready to wait to be the next enemy after the collapse of America and its coalitions. Around 10 or 20 years from now, Iran with its Shiah will be far more stronger than now. Its feet will be set firmer in some regions, wal ‘iyadzu billah.

The Islamic ummah led by Al-Qaeda, the Taliban and global jihad activists are in the midst of being “trained” by Allah to practice the ibaadah of Jihad fie sabilillah, by means of being given an opponent that is top class. This is because, the implementation of the ibaadah of jihad is different from other ibaadah such as Solat and Zakat. In Jihad, there has to be an enemy for it to be accomplished, while in Solat it is enough with facing the Qibla and unfurling a prayer rug.

Coincidentally, the starting points of the development of jihad and the plan of action of the Shiahs turns out to be simultaneous. In 1979, the mullahs of the Shiahs successfully muzzled the regime of Reza Pahlevi and established a sovereign Shiah state. In the same year, the Soviet Union raided Afghanistan, which started out to be battled by the Mujahideen with the initial capital of not more than 6 rifles. In 1991, alhamdulillah, the Soviet Union was able to be defeated by the permission of Allah, in fact that empire broke into pieces, only Russia remains. As if we are given a chance to compete in a sprint race with the same starting point; in 1979.

After 30 years, Iran became a force to be reckoned with. It has extensive influence in the Islamic world. Iraq is already within the control of Iran after America left, although not fully. If it is success in Bahrain, the number of Shiah states will increase. And there will be many more.

On the other hand, also after 30 years, the global jihad successfully established a strong influence in Afghanistan, a part of Pakistan, Iraq (although partly), Somalia, Chechnya, Kashmir and a number of other armed upheaval regions. Sooner or later, the big battle between the global Mujahideen against Iran will erupt. Because, after America has weakened, Iran has to be cleaned out from the Middle East.

The development of Iran actually could have been an inspiration for the Saudi rulers and other regimes. When they are alarmed by the advance of Shiah, the best partner to contain it is Al-Qaeda and the activists of the golab jihad. Unfortunately, the Saudi regime is unable to get away from America. Soon they will regret, for taking the wrong partner.

The bottom line is, actually the Middle East is in need of Al-Qaeda and the activists of global jihad, but the rulers have already gone too far in their self-interests attributable to the feeling that the izzah is still in the hands of America. Whereas, in truth the izzah is with Allah and His Rasul through the ibaadah called jihad fie sabilillah. Seeking izzah from America will only give us humiliation.

A video surfaced on Youtube website the previous Wednesday which showed the obscene and barbaric character of American soldiers as they urinated on the clean bodies of a few Afghan martyrs. This video induced the intense anger of all the Afghans, Muslims and those who respect humanity.

Islamic Emirate condemns this inhumane, barbaric and cowardly act with the strongest of words and calls on the United Nations Human Right Council, other such organizations and the conscience and freedom loving people of the world to raise their voices for handing out the severest of penalty to the perpetrators of this barbaric act. But if they keep silent once again on this painful matter then it will become clear that they only serve as an organ of colonialism and don’t work for human rights because if this act (may God forbid) was to be carried out by Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate then how much fervor of the media and Human Right organizations, the repeated condemnation of the security council and investigations by the world governments and parliaments would we have seen?

It must be regretfully said that on the one hand, it is America which calls itself the defender of Democracy and Human Rights and those countries which are not democracies created by them or those who supposedly don’t respect Human Rights are put into black lists, sanctioned against and have to face various types of hardships but on the other hand, it is the American soldiers who are the perpetrators of such acts which have not even been carried out by the most oppressive rulers, dictators and empires of the history.

Pentagon claims that its soldiers are the most highly trained who recognize human values and it is due to this that they are the defenders of democracy but is burning dead bodies, urinating on them, keeping body parts as trophies and the burning and tearing of the holy Quran and other holy books democracy and human rights? Are such barbaric acts effects of your training which are systematically carried out by the invading American soldiers in Afghanistan? Is keeping prisoners for years on end without a trial, stripping and killing them under torture being civilized? Or is uprooting whole villages, orchards and greenery progress and development? It is well known to all the Afghans that America has been carrying out such heinous acts for the past ten years.

The world must surely now know the reason and causes for which Islamic Emirate has been fighting for the past decade. It is because they are facing people who have been practically and repeatedly stepping on all human norms and are denying the right to anyone who questions or asks for their prosecution.

Without a doubt there are some common human values shared by all human beings as heritage. Having respect for the dead is also a part of these set values but it has become common place for the occupying troops in Afghanistan to step over these bounds.

We want to make it clear that if the invaders think that such criminal behavior will put fear in the hearts of Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate or force them to reconsider their path then this belief is very raw and shows their naivety of Afghan history. The more the invaders oppress and persecute the Mujahid Afghan nation, the more zealously will they show their reaction and dole out justice in the battlefield with their swords. That is why this land is called the ‘Graveyard of Empires’ and the current invaders are not an exception.

لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لَعَدُوِّهِمْ قَاهِرِينَ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ إِلاَّ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ مِنْ لأْوَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَيْنَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَأَكْنَافِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ

"There will always be a group from my Ummah triumphant upon the truth, victorious over their enemies, there will be no harm from those who oppose them and they will not be harmed until the order of Allah comes and they will be like that (triumphant).

The meeting with the Palestinian fighters twitched my heart. There are those with maimed hands, missing legs and crippled limbs. We were so touched that we shed our tears. But the Mujahideen right away said: “Don't cry.

“We do not need your tears here. What's important is your do'a so that we will remain strong here to keep on fighting for your masjid.

“Send our salam to the people of Malaysia. Please believe in this struggle so that we can together defend the rights of the Islamic ummah.”

Those Mujahideen smiled. We were amazed by the richness of their spirit. They do not mind, they are ready to sacrifice their lives anytime for the sake of defending the rights of the Muslims. Ouch! I feel so tiny when compared to the spirit of their jihad.

Not only the adults, even the small children there have a big ambition. Just ask those children, what do they want to be when they grow up?

Their answer is, we want to be Mujahids! Their enthusiasm and the educations that had been fed in them are so intense. I still remember, while organizing an iftar program in a masjid there, at that time the noises coming from the Palestinian children, who were so cheerfully playing, could be heard. However, as soon as the azan reverberated and the time for solat began, not even a drop of sound was heard from the mouths of those children until we finished performing the taraweeh.

All those children were orderly in their respective saf (row), even the four year old little ones did not dare to make a sound. They do not need to be monitored, but they already know that when the prayer time comes, it is a time that must be respected and where you cannot make a noise.

It ticked in my heart to say, if in Malaysia I would not fell this atmosphere. Normally, during the taraweeh prayer in the masjid, it is surely accompanied by the noisy sounds of children playing outside the masjid. Not to mention those who play firecrackers which could startle the imam.

In Gaza, where ever we go, the children would come to crowd around us. They stretched out their hands. Not to beg, but just to shake our hands. Their faces were cheerful when seeing their brothers from other places coming to visit them.

You don't need to give out money. Those kids would not accept it. You would not find the term 'beggar' here. They are not taught to beg even though life is hard, on the contrary they are nurtured so as to always share whatever they have with others.

If someone gets a loaf of bread, then he too would share it with his other friends. Even if only a little piece of the bread would remain for him, he would not mind. What's important is that the received rizq is shared together. That's one of their manifestations there, a thing that I could not see in our country.

Yes, Gaza needs our help, but do you know that at the same time the population there can collect donations as well to be given to our needy brothers in Somalia? Subhanallah.. even though they are in hardship, but they still give contributions, although a little, because they believe, our brothers in Somalia are more in hardship and need to be helped as well. Do we here possess this noble character as them?

Like one of the meanings in surah At-Tawbah which says: “Indeed, Allah purchases the body and soul of those who fight in Allah's cause.”

These are the people of Palestine. They do not cry when they lose a leg or hand, they are not afraid to go to the battlefield. Because they say, Allah has bought their body limbs. Therefore, they don't mind losing them. Can we afford to be like them?

“Two Children Of Ummu Ahmad Shaheed” - Noorhasyimah Ismail

The woman's name is Ummu Ahmad. In her smile the woman said, she has lost two of her sons who had been shaheed in the battlefield. I asked, how could she be that calm after losing her beloved children? She did not answer the question but instead advised, “Protect the religion, indeed the Jews are our enemies.” And if possible that woman said, she wanted to be pregnant again so that she could continue to give birth to Mujahideen.

Then I remembered when we visited a house. The house was so small and had no room. The roof was only made from plastic materials weighted with stone in every corner to stop the plastic roof from being blown by the wind.

It is in the narrow house that a husband and wife live, along with nine children and their in-laws. It is in that space that they gather, sleep and cook. They are burdened with poverty but strangely, their faces are always laughing cheerfully while recounting how they undergo the routines of life. There is no look of sadness, no complaint, let alone to be grim. If in our place, are we able to tell the difficulties of our lives in the state of smiling and laughing like that?

Next, we met with another woman. She has also lost a son who was shaheed for the sake of the Islamic struggle. The story goes that, during the early stage after she lost her son, she always cried remembering her deceased son. But one day, she dreamed of being visited by that of her son. He said, “Ummi, I am now in Paradise.”

The dream was like a message so that she would not cry over the death of her son again. Only then the woman realized that there is no need to cry again. Instead, she is proud because her son has become a dweller of Paradise.

This is the story of another family that we met. A man was telling the story about his younger brother. He said that his brother whose name was Muhammad went to the battlefield only 13 days after he got married. Before going out of the house, Muhammad said to the wife whom he just married: “I will go and fight, indeed I marry you because I wanted to complete my Islam.” And after that Muhammad departed as a Palestinian Mujahideen, wearing his wedding shoes.

Muhammad was martyred in the fight. And after the expiry of the idah, his brother married Muhammad's widow, who was his sister in law before.

“This is our son, who we named Muhammad, in commemoration of the name of my younger brother who had been killed while conducting jihad in Allah's cause,” he said while holding on his laps a cute little boy, aged around 2 years.

Meanwhile, the mother of the two brothers took out a shirt of his late son. She kissed it and then she cried. Then her son right away hugged the mother and said: “Be proud mother, indeed Muhammad is waiting for us in Paradise!” We, who listened to their story also shed our tears, it's akin to a drama. But that is the truth.

I also remember the story of a teenage girl. She is still 16 years old but is already drenched in sweats working as a 'fisherwoman' at the sea of Gaza to provide for her family. Her father has been sick and cannot afford to work anymore. While her siblings are many and still young.

Every day, the teenager would go to the sea by rowing a small boat to catch fish. Just imagine, in that young age, she already has to the breadwinner of the family and not the least she is daunted to ford the vast sea alone.

And when we asked what assistance would she like to lighten the burden of her whole family, it's not money or food that was asked by the girl. Instead, she only wants a small motorboat which can help ease herself in seeking the rizq (sustenance) in the vast sea.

“Rowing the boat takes a long time. It suffices if there is a boat with an engine,” she said. Indeed, it really touches our hearts to see her. As a woman, I am very impressed with the women in Palestine. They lost their husbands, they lost their children and they are burdened with poverty. But they are strong, determined, resilient and the most important, they never want to beg.

They do not raise their children with the feeling of sadness and deprivation. Instead they always train their children to be grateful. No matter how difficult their lives are, they would remind their children to be grateful because there are others who are less fortunate than them.

That's one of the ways the mothers produce the characters of a fighter in the selves of the children since a young age. The struggle to them is not to kill, but to train the toughness of the self so that they could be strong in countering the enemies.

Their emotions and psychology are trained to be fearless or to not cry when attacked, but to continue fighting even armed with only a stone for the sake of defending the rights of Muslims.

Due to that, it is no surprise why there are a lot of hafiz and hafizah born in the land of Palestine. And it is no surprise too why the Jews are still failing to conquer Gaza, though they have been trying for decades. The women there are very strong, able to give birth to a lot of Mujahideen.

On average, every family have eight children or more than that. May be we imagine that with such a number of children, how are their lives? On the contrary, despite the deprived life, all those children have already been independent since a young age, they know their roles and responsibilities among each other.

The children are still sent to school even though many of the school buildings have been damaged and full of bullet marks. In fact, children with disabilities are also sent to school because knowledge to them is very important. So, it is no surprise when we met many disabled and mute children capable of sounding the recitation of the Qur'an.

Yes admittedly the Jews should be feeling confused, it has already been decades that they are bombing Palestine, it never reduces. Instead, the population of Palestine are increasing because when they killed a Palestinian who was shaheed, the replacement would be born.

Even though the women there lose their children, they always want to give birth again because they know, it is one of the favours that Allah gives to them to give birth to fighters who would conduct jihad in His cause. Subhanallah....

“The Bombings Are Music!” - Muhammad Munawer Ismail

Previously, when the Zionist regime was guarding Gaza, it was indeed difficult to dream of setting foot there. However, since Israel pulled out their military, the chances of the NGO's to come to Gaza to channel aids, started to open up. Due to that, when selected to go to Gaza, I was really grateful to Allah. Yes, I really wish to see the land which is said to be full of blessings.

One day before departing to Gaza, we received the news that Gaza had just been bombed by the enemies. More or less, the feeling of fear and worry did conjure up. Strangely, once we entered Gaza the feeling of fear and anxiety went away just like that. In fact, we did not think of death anymore or maybe got shot by the enemy while we were there. We seemed to have forgotten that Gaza is a land that is always rained with bombs. True indeed, the land of Palestine is filled with barakah.

Even though the Israeli troops are not seen in the streets anymore, but almost every day we could still hear the sounds of bombing from the air, carried out by the Zionists Jews, but not in the slightest were we afraid. In fact, when asking the people there, the sounds of bombing are as if a “music” in their lives. As if it is not complete if the “music” is not heard.

I remember when passing through a street where on its left was a former settlement of the Jews which had been abandoned. The land there was all dried up, no life, it was like a dead plain.

On the other hand, on our right was the settlement of the Palestinians. The area is very fertile, and all the eyes see are greens with date trees producing abundant fruits.

And again, when we visited the site of the fish pond farm, we were surprised when we saw that they are able to rear tilapia fish in sea water, whereas it is in the category of a freshwater fish. In fact, the fishes farmed there could breed easily into large quantities, that they are always enough to be supplied to the poor.

The same goes with the project on cattle farming. The quantity of milk produced by the cattles is so plentiful, it exceeds the normal level usually produced by other cattles all over the world, that they are able to produce thousands of liters per day to be distributed to the population of Gaza.

Also look at the waters of the Gaza sea which is controlled by the Jews. The fishermen are only allowed to go no further than three nautical miles. If we are to follow logic, there would be not much fish in such a small range of expanse. But strangely, those fishermen still find their catch. Thus how blessed the land of Gaza is.

Even though the Zionists are carrying out various blockades on Gaza, akin to being the largest 'prison' in the world, our brothers there do not complain. They will keep trying to find sustenance. Whatever they work on will easily bring on yields. If it's animal farming, the livestock will easily breed. If it's vegetable growing, the vegetable will grow fertile.

Another thing, the people of Gaza are very amanah (trustworthy). Seems different from our people here. One of the aids granted is the scheme of the appropriation of micro credits without deposit. They are given loans of a sum of money to be used as a capital, so that they can do something to generate the family income.

After earning enough to recover the loan, they themselves came to pay it. There is no need to be reminded, no need to be looked for, but they remember their debts. There is no such term as 'running away from debt' like our people here. They know, there are other people who again need the money they have borrowed. Can we follow the pure values practiced by them?

My Brothers….. every man has his own life story. The bitter sweet portions of life make us learn and improve our selves in this life. This is a piece of the story of a young man. A piece of the story of a son of Adam who had once been easily tricked by Iblis La'natullah. A piece of the story of a young man who had become a victim of the conspiracy of the Zionist agenda. A piece of the story of someone who had once become the wooden puppet of Dajjal and his agents. A piece of the story of a youth who had been astray but later rediscovered his fitrah as a Muslim. This is a piece of my story….

I was born into an average family. Having a mother who is average too. Having a father and brothers and sisters who are also average. I also lived in an average environment and went to school that was also very average. My adolescence was also considered as average. Basically, all things in my life was just average and ordinary. I was just a young boy growing up normally in a warm family, raised by a mother who loves me more than her own self and a father who educates me with great example so that I can become a good person.

But there were things that may not be ordinary in my life when compared with other kids of my age at that time. I was interested in something which later I commonly referred to as the “youth culture”. Of so many youth cultures I chose to be a skinhead. The reason I chose skinhead was very simple… the skinheads are fearless…. That's all. I remember when I got that first source about this skinhead, namely a book entitled “Spirit of 69, A Skinhead Bible”, a book about the history of the development of the skinhead culture from the era of the mid-60's to the mid-90’s written by George Marshall. I read the whole book completely, I studied and reread it repeatedly because it was something extremely important for me. I had already understood from the beginning that this was my way of life and I didn't want to be unserious with it.

My introduction to the skinheads, which started from the music and book, had led me to get to know like-minded people, a community of the youth culture. So I started to practice the activities of hanging out in the streets. Little by little but certain, I devoured wholly all things related to the youth culture and all of its variants. We talked about and we discussed, in fact we even debated many times, starting from our favorite bands to our heroes of the youth culture. Slowly but surely too, the youth culture (skinhead) became some kind of a life philosophy for me and for my close friend named Jamal. Alhamdulillah, we are now together again in the brotherhood as fellow Muslims. For us then, skinhead was everything. Skinhead was the only solution in facing this life. A way out for us from all of our disgusts with life which was only so-so. A perfect rebellion coming straight from the streets where we were raised and grew up.

Skinhead was a door for me to start learning about the “ism's”which underlie and are associated with it. And as skinhead is basically the culture of the working-labour-proletarian class, then Socialism Communism was the only ideology that really attracted my attention at that time. I devoured completely all sorts of information about it and I was never satisfied in studying it. Jamal was a partner in discussions, debates, sometimes even became the “enemy” of my viewpoints about skinhead and marxism at that time. The street was a discussion forum for us. The street was a wide expanse of field, a place to practice everything that we understood about skinhead. The street was where we got to know life and the real living. But it was also the street that introduced us to the negative things such as booze and sometimes brawls. But for us then, that's the ideal life of a rebel. We were rebels and we were not afraid to fight this world with our hands….!!!!

Slowly but surely, I started to consider skinhead as my religion. Slowly, this brain started to darken by the kufr ideas of Marx, Nietsche and Darwin. In fact, in the subsequent developments, I often proudly said: “Skinhead was already more than a religion for me…..”. If we think back, that's how I was back then…. I preferred to put on the 10 hole boots for 20 minutes rather than performing ablution and prayer which only takes 10 minutes for example. I was getting further away leaving Islam and its teachings. I even started to feel disgusted with the activities of Ibaadah such as solat, I was starting to feel foolish if I were to be a religious person while I was a progressive revolutioner. Lenin said RELIGION (ALLAH) IS THE OPIUM OF THE PEOPLE and I swallowed it as dogma. Soon while at the peak of my kufr state, I doubted, even denied the existence of Allah which was very “immaterial” and “unintellectual” for me. The deification of a thing named Allah or any name of God was a concept that was disgusting to me. God, whatever the name was a made-up thing in the brain of the people whose work was only to hallucinate in this life. God was only for the weak people to me, while I was a skinhead warrior, a materialist dialectic, a progressive revolutioner and a radical Leftist, it is certainly not suitable for a knowledgeable person to have a God. THERE WAS NO GOD FOR ME at that time….!!!!

With each passing day, I was increasingly off-track from my fitrah. My life was as if it had no control, everything was legitimate enough for me. My moral values were different from others. I did not hesitate to make intrigues and conspire in achieving the goals of my life. As long as it was good and beneficial for the sake of achieving and realizing my idealism, then it was legitimate enough. Destroy anyone who didn't agree with you….Be a strong person because only the strong ones can survive in this world and never have mercy on your enemies. If a person or a group of people were hostile towards you, then be hostile and hate them a thousand times more intense than their hatred and hostility towards you…!!! This was the moral value that I held firm at that time. It was also what I applied in the community when there arose disagreements on Idealism issues about skinheads who are pro-mainstream media and those who are anti- mainstream media. I certainly stood in the forefront of the skinhead resistance against mainstream media. Yes, skinhead was only for the skinheads to me. The mainstream media are essentially the tentacles of the global capitalism and the natural and eternal enemies of the Leftist – Marxist – Leninist like myself. The mainstream media are just a milker device that would make us street clowns, the viewing materials of the public on TV. Skinhead was a culture of the rebels, so behave yourselves like a rebel. Skinhead is a culture of resistance, a counter-culture and not a “conciliatory” culture that is side by side with the pop and mainstream culture.

This difference became a prolonged conflict in the community. My assertiveness and puritan attitude made the people resent me, starting with the verbal and then to the physical ways. And I was not afraid when pressured like this, but I instead became increasingly bold. I made use of my rather prime capacity in speaking to propagandize, agitate and even impose my ideas onto others. And all of a sudden I became the focus of attention in the community. To some people I was a frightening figure who should be avoided because I always tried to brainwash them, while to some others I was considered as a tutor and whose “words” are anticipated. It was here where satan danced freely in my heart. I started to become a person who was extremely over the limit, arrogant and even considered myself as God for myself (luckily not for others….). I truly believed and I was truly proud of my knowledge and ability and I threw far away the whisper of my heart that those were simply a trust and trial of Allah on me. It was at this time that Allah sent His admonition upon me in the form of a woman whom I loved….. but instead of coming to my senses I then even challenged Him to bring on a more violent trial or even adzab if HE truly exists. From that day onward, for me there started a fight between myself and Allah (na’udzubillahi min dzaliq….. see how jahil, stupid and astray I had been made at that time…. ).

Then, I again met with Jamal after we had parted ways for over five years. The Jamal whom I saw now had already been 180 degrees different from the Jamal whom I knew before. Jamal was now wearing khameez and sporting a beard and in his every sentence he never forgot to utter the asma of Allah, yes…. The light of Allah's hidayah has touched him. I know how sad Jamal was when he saw that I had been so far away from Allah and maybe had already become a Kuffar at that time. I remember, he always listened to all my complaints and problems, nothing changed between me and him at that time even though our worldviews were like the earth and the heaven. There is something that I remember the most today… one day Jamal sent me and SMS saying: “Assalamualaikum my brother…. I have come to offer something more precious than gold to you which if you take it you shall be saved in this dunya and the akhirah… embrace and return to the Iman of Islam…. Don't you remember… there is a da’ie blood flowing swiftly in your blood….”. By Allah, my heart was like being blown at that moment, the face of my grandfather in his turban and white garment, crying looking at me, loomed in my head…., but the ego and the influence of satan were more dominant at that time and I considered that SMS like a passing wind.

My “fight” with Allah continued…. I was increasingly dissolved in my kufr. No matter how Jamal tried to remind me and how Allah had repeatedly admonished me, I remained arrogant. I was like an Abu Jahal who was bestowed with vast knowledge by Allah but arrogantly refused to prostrate to Him. It was at this time that Jamal reminded me again about how actually I was a victim of a dark conspiracy in the realm of the youth culture (actually we both often discussed about the issue of the NWO and its conspiracy since 2003). I again and again was actually aware that I was the victim and wooden puppet of Dajjal, the accursed one-eyed who, as he likes, pitted me against my own Muslim brothers so much so that I lightly broke the ties of brotherhood with a number of my good friends. But my arrogance which had reached the acute level had blinded and deafened me. This nape was getting increasingly stiffer for me to prostrate to Him, this tongue was getting increasingly frozen for me to utter and acknowledge His greatness. But Allah never stops calling my name…. Sending signs to me. One of them was, I don't know why, I always could not contain my tears when listening to people reciting the Qur’an, whereas I did not even understand a single word from those verses, a very strange thing indeed. This heart that was hard as stone and had darkened because of sins, was as if ripped to shreds by the chanting of the very holy verses of Allah. However…. that did not even once remove the stiffness of my nape to prostrate to Him.

Then…… that time came, Allah admonished me very hardly. He whipped me because I belonged to the category of dissident slaves. He sent something to me just as how he fittingly sent a mosquito to Namrudz in order to tear down his arrogance. And that mosquito (again) was in a form of a woman who was young, naive and Christian too. It was through her that Allah stripped and tore down my arrogance and dumped me into the abyss of humiliation in the eyes of the people who used to respect me and admire my smartness, as well as my puritan character (sorry… about how this woman became the cause of my humiliation could not be told here as I am too disgusted to write it down…). The opposer lost badly to the God Whose existence he denied. The arrogant rebel had been humiliated and all the things that made him proud were taken away. No more skinhead pride for me that day… no more Kamerad beside me that day…. I was down and out of line. On whom should I rely again??? Could Marx, Lenin, Nietsche, Jimmy Pursey, Darwin, Jhon Joseph, Roi Pearce, Tan Malaka and all the rebel heroes whom I praised, help me at that time???? NO….!!! And if they do not have the power to help me in this world alone, then how could they help when the Angel Munkar and Nakir question me with “Man rabbuka…..” in the grave… and not to mention when I would be humiliated and helpless for being classified as kafir in the yaumul hisab…. Where would they be???? They cannot go anywhere because they would also rot in hell with me…!! And by Allah there is nothing that I fear more than this….

Become insane or suicide … those were my only choices back then. And Alhamdulillah… Allah brought me to prostrate to Him. Allah watered and washed my heart and blood which had darkened by the sins, with His hidayah. I then submitted myself to Allah, I surrendered myself wholly to Him. I repented and asked for His forgiveness. I know my repentance and hijrah will not end until Izrail approached me at some point later, I can only seek to be close to Him while unceasingly regretted all my sins to HIM. I believe Allah is the most forgiving and the most compassionate as long as I also repent earnestly to Him. Though still falling and rising in practices but I insha Allah would never despair, and I would endeavor to be istiqamah.

But if you consider that it was the skinhead community that had destroyed me, actually that is not accurate. It was me who destroyed and oppressed my own self with my excessive acts. But it cannot be denied as well that skinhead was one of the asbab (causes) of my kufr. But what need to be known here is, the community did not always bring bad influence in this episode of my life. Instead it was in the Punk – Skinhead community that I learned about some sublime values such as militancy and the spirit of self-reliance, which in truth had already been taught by our noble Rasulullah. In brief, the community was the place where I was honed and educated to now struggle in Allah's cause (insha Allah….). There are many sweet and positive memories from the old community that I could write here just as there are more negative things that I got from there.

That's a piece of my story which I hope can become an ibrah (lesson) for all my friends. Just look at how a dark Zionist conspiracy had misguided me. Just look at how satan easily deviated me from my fitrah as a Muslim, only with a false pride and fake worldview called Skinhead. Look at how the freely circulating kufr “ism's” could easily wash my brain, to the point that I had gone beyond the limits. Look at how Dajjal had heinously managed to take control of my life, maybe his control over me has not actually completely gone even at this time. I am lucky because Allah rescued me with His hidayah before Izrail came to get me. But how about the hundreds or even thousands of other youngsters who at this time are still in the grip of their conspiracy, in which the saying I had mentioned at the beginning of this article??? This question lingers in my head since I made hijrah…. Only to Allah we ask for guidance so that we are spared from the conspiracies and fitnah of Dajjal in these end times… Wallahualam bissawab…

Fighting till they Convert

A common hadith that missionary propagandists often bring up is the following one:

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 24:

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform all that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."

The missionary will quote the following hadith and will happily proclaim ha! See! The prophet Muhammad was commanded to fight people until they converted to Islam, so Muslims must fight nonebelievers until they convert!

Now indeed if the world worked like that, then that would be a very good world for missionaries, it would mean that humans cease using their minds and brains.

Sadly for the missionaries (and very good for sane human beings of all creeds) the world does not work in such a fashion, rather we thinking humans who have a brain will sit back and say, hey, wait a minute, this person is quoting one Islamic text on its own, surely we must look at the context, and draw our conclusion from there!

Now FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT (let us get this out of the way to just show how inconsistent these missionaries are) let us assume this is true, that Islam teaches Muslims to fight and force people to Islam, so what? It seems these missionaries forgot about their own Bible:

"Whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman." (2 Chronicles 15:13)

That is straight from the Bible! So one must wonder from where these Christian missionaries are coming from! It's quite obvious what these missionaries are doing, they are following in the footsteps of their leader, Paul, who deployed deceiving as a prime tactic of preaching and trying to gain followers, for more on this specific topic visit the following article:

Glad to have gotten all of that out of the way! Now let us proceed to the topic at hand, and let us give the context. For starters anyone who studies about the religion of Islam will know that Islam teaches that people are not compelled or forced to join Islam, rather Islam teaches religious freedom:

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things." (2:256)

"So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants." (3:20)

And an entire chapter devoted to religious freedom:

"Say: O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine." (Surah 109)

So it is quite clear that Islam teaches religious tolerance, nobody is compelled to follow Islam, they can keep their way and religion, and the same for the Muslims. So in light of this one must therefore apply the Hadith to this context, one cannot simply ignore all these verses and then go on to conclude that Islam teaches forced conversion to Islam.

Now we move to the second part, and we go back to the Quran, because the above Hadith is very familiar to a Quranic passage, and the passage reads as follows:

"And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do." (8:39)

In the above passage Muslims are commanded to fight until there is no more oppression, till justice prevails, and when faith is in Allah. This is essentially the same message as the Hadith in slightly different wording, but the content is similar.

Now off course if we were as narrow minded as these missionaries are, then we too would have to conclude that 8:39 commands Muslims to fight until people have faith in Allah, meaning convert to Islam and submit to Allah. In fact that Islamophobic right wing racist bigot Geert Wilders brought this verse up in his Fitna documentary!

Now if anyone studies the context of 8:39 one will know that this verse was aimed at the Pagans, not only was this verse revealed against the Pagans, but the very same Pagans the Muslims were at war with! Basically this verse was revealed during a time of war between the Muslims and the Pagans, the very same Pagans who initiated the war, as the verse itself mentions, the Muslims are to fight them until there is no more OPPRESSION, and these Pagans were oppressing the Muslims.

So how does this all relate to the hadith in question? The reason why it relates to the hadith is because the Quranic verse is very similar to what the prophet said, and when one analyzes the Quran one will find that when it gave this specific ruling, it was revealed during a time of war, and revealed against the Pagan combatants! Hence we must apply this same standard to the Hadith in question!

And finally, Ibn Taymiyyah, a major Islamic scholar had this to say about the hadith in question:

"It refers to fighting those who are waging war, whom Allah has permitted us to fight. It does not refer to those who have a covenant with us with whom Allah commands us to fulfill our covenant." [Majmû` al-Fatâwâ (19/20)]

Hence in conclusion when you put all of this together you will see that the missionary has no case (as usual), and that the hadith in no way serves their argument, and in no way contradicts the religious freedom and tolerance enjoined by Islam.

Every generation gives birth to its own rebels. The Hippies in the 60's, the Punk and Skinhead in the later eras, and the generations of status quo and other establishments rejectors in the subsequent periods. Islam is a revolutionary religion which had changed a social order that was previously stupid and barbaric to become a ruler of almost two thirds of the world in just less than a century. The success of Rasulullah in laying the foundation of societal values had been recognized by the world. Islam is not just a religion with a set of rules of spiritual worships, but it is also a set of Ideologies and Outlook on life. Islam is perfect.... it is the most liberal religion because it gives the ultimate freedom for every human being (SO IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE LIBERALIZED AS DECLARED BY THE JIL (Liberal Islam Network)). It is also the most socialist religion because the interests of the people always become something that is prioritized there (SO FORGET ABOUT AND THROW FAR AWAY THE SOCIALIST RELIGIOUS CONCEPT OF ALI SHARIATI). It is the most Humanist religion because it is very appreciative of the human and humanity (SO THE TERM OF ISLAMIC HUMANISM OF GUS DUR IS AN EXCESSIVE TERM). And what's obvious, Islam is also the most Anarchistic religion because it is very anti to the order of the State on the basis of a nation/nation state...

Islam requires a totality and it includes in matters of ideology which underlie our actions, due to that, it is something absurd if a Muslim inclines his thinkings towards other Ideologies besides Islam. A dualism of thought will only lead us to a confusion in thinking. A Puritan Muslim has only one view in his/her life, namely Islam. That is the value that should belong to everyone who feels him/herself a Muslim "rebel" or one who acts as such. There is not a few Muslim youths who day-to-day talk enthusiastically about Islam but their brains are still intermixed with Communist ideas, in fact even anarchistic which they say is Revolutionary. Aren't the Qur'an and Sunnah of Rasulullah enough as our only path of revolution, so much so that we must base and defend the view on the people who said "RELIGION IS THE OPIUM OF THE PEOPLE AND GOD IS A DISGUSTING CONCEPT??" Who's the confused one here? Lenin who was indeed kafir or us who claim to be Muslim but are adoring the ideas of the Kuffar like him?

Remember..... the Illuminati was at play here with the “ism's” of the past which have been battered, like the Communism which has been proven bankrupt everywhere, or with the Ultra nationalism which was proven to have made a nation the size of Germany become a monstrous nation, the spreader of terror and oppression, which later was buried in shame after trying to create their Third Reich, or perhaps with an ideology as utopian as the Anarchism which seems to be very humanizing the humans but is denying the role of Allah as a Dzat which ought to be worshipped??? They capitalize on the bursting energies of the youths and deceive them with baits of the “ism's” above, and the objective is only one: To separate us away from the Qur'an and Sunnah, or at the very least: To intermix them with the “ism's” in our heads... whereas, aren't we being commanded by Allah to not intermix the haq with the bathil??? Due to that, let's purify this brain and thinking from all those things..... WE'RE MUSLIM YOUTHS SO LET'S THINK LIKE MUSLIM YOUTHS......!!!!!!!!

The News On The Arrest Of Two Mujahideen From Indonesia Is Fake!

JAKARTA – The news about two Mujahids from Indonesia, along with three other Mujahids, being arrested by the security forces of Philippines, Wednesday (4/1), turns out to be false. The falseness of the news was obtained by Arrahmah.com from a source that can be trusted. A cheap propaganda by spreading false news like this is common in the heat of the global jihad confrontation between the Mujahideen and their enemies. Beware!

Mujahideen arrested, fake news

A fake news was being reported by foreign media, including the arabnews, Wednesday (4/1), related to the arrest of five Mujahids in an isolated island in Southern Philippines. Out of the five Mujahids, two of them were reported to be Mujahids from Indonesia.

The five Mujahids predicted to be members of the JI (Jemaah Islamiyah) are alleged to be a link between the Filipino Mujahideen and potential foreign financiers and military trainers of the Al-Qaeda network. All of the five Mujahids are led by a trained engineer, Zulkifli bin Hir, one of the key figures of the jihad group in South East Asia.

Washington offers 5 millions US dollar for Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan.

“They appeared to be moving actively around Sulu,” said the military commander Lieutenant General Raymundo Ferrer as quoted from the arabnews website, Wednesday (04/01).

Propaganda in the global jihad

Apparently, the news report is false. The certainty of the falseness of the news was delivered by a trusted source of Arrahmah.com. As for the intent and purpose of the spreading of the fake news is of course for a propaganda to mislead and weaken the Mujahideen.

In the fake news, Ferrer also said that, other Mujahideen managed to be aptured were Abdullah Ali alias Muawiyah, and two others suspected to be of Indonesian nationals known by the name Qayim and Sa’ad, as well as a Malaysian national named Amin Baco alias Abu Jihad.

Thus was the clarification on the fake news about the arrests of two Mujahideen from Indonesia in Philippines last Wednesday (4/1). Indeed, what had been expressed by Sheikhul Jihad, Sheikh Abdullah Azzam is true, that one of the heavy duties of the jihad media besides defending jihad and the Mujahideen is to issue a release in a form that is best in fighting the media attack being campaigned by the enemeis.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir : “Deradicalization, An Accursed Munkar”

JAKARTA – The deradicalization is a munkar which is accursed by Allah SWT. Thus was the latest statement of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir (ABB) which he delivered from the Bareskrim detention center, Police Main HQ, Tuesday (3/1). The Muslims are being forced to be soft on the shirk and munkar, so that the practices of their tawheed are blended with shirk and their iman are integrated with the kafir ideology. Therefore, Allah forbids us to follow it!

The Islamic Ummah Have The Al-Wala and Al-Bara

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir still talks firmly and clearly, although from behind the confinement of the Bareskrim, Police Main HQ. When Arrahmah.com visited him, Tuesday (3/1), he advised that the Islamic media must be fearless in saying the haq, so that the Islamic ummah understand the truth and that they could practice it.

Besides explaining lengthily the tawheed, and the error of the Muslims who have fallen into the misguidances of the murji’ah and khawarij understandings, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir also mentioned about the deradicalization project which is being carried out vigorously by Ansyad Mbai through the BNPT (National Counter-Terrorism Agency). According to him the deradicalization is a munkar which is accursed by Allah SWT.

He cited the Qur’an Surah Al-Qalam verse 8 and 9. Allah SWT says:

“Then do not obey the deniers (of Allah's verses). They wish that you would soften [in your position], so they would soften [toward you].”

Ustadz Abu explained that it has already been a sunatullah that there will always be a mutual enmity between the Kuffar and Muslims, mutually in confrontation alias a fisticuffs. So, if anyone would want to merge or reconcile this enmity (between al-haq and al-batil) in the name of the national unity and integration, then in reality he has gone against Allah SWT. The difference is, the Muslims hate or are in enmity with the Kuffar because of Allah SWT (their iman), while the Kuffar hate or are hostile to the Muslims because of their nafs (carnal desires).

In Islam, Al-Wala (loyalty) and Al-Bara (anti-loyalty) are also taught, where the Prophet SAW himself taught us to be hard against the Kuffar and gentle with the fellow Muslims. Ustadz Abu also cited the verse of Allah SWT contained in QS Al-Mumtahanah, where Prophet Ibrahim AS had detached himself from his people who are mushrik.

The Deradicalization is Fighting the Purity of Tawheed and Iman

In that occasion, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir also stressed that since the regime of Soekarno, to the current regime of SBY, the rulers/governments of NKRI (Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) are thaghut which contribute in marring the purity of tawheed and the iman of the Islamic ummah. So their tawheed and iman are marred, that the Islam that they practiced is a mixture of the haq (Islamic Shari'ah) and the batil (man-made ideologies).

In a more specific way, as in the book given by Ustadz Abu to Arrahmah.com and also to other visitors, entitled “Risalah Tawheed & Iman”, Ustadz Abu explained that the regime of SBY and the Densus 88 are active in fighting the purity of tawheed and iman by means of “deradicalization” so that the Islam ummah are behaving leniently towards the prevalent shirk and munkar, resulting in the practices of their tawheed being blended with the munkar and ideologies of kufr. So Allah forbids us to follow them, as in QS Al-Qalam, verse 8 and 9.

Therefore, the deradicalization is a munkar which is accursed by Allah SWT. May the curse of Allah befall the regime of SBY and the Densus 88 if they do not want to repent. They are the thaghut who make the Muslims bogged down from the light of tawheed and iman towards the darkness of shirk and munkar.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir is again stressing the importance of Muslims to have a power in order to implement or apply the Islamic Shari'ah. Without an Islamic state, the Muslims will never be able to apply the Islamic Shari'ah in kaafah. Thus was his statement when Arrahmah.com visited him at the Bareskrim confinement, Police Main HQ, Tuesday (3/1).

The Fundamental Problem of this Ummah is Tawheed

Alhamdulillah, Arrahmah.com have the opportunity to visit Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir (ABB), Tuesday (3/1) at the Bareskrim detention center, Police Main HQ, Jakarta. After being met by Ustadz Hasyim Abdullah, Ustadz Abu's aide, Arrahmah.com straight away went to see Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir who that day was wearing a white robe and skullcap.

A moment later, with great enthusiasm and optimism, he gave advice and his views regarding the problems of the Muslims in this country. According to him, the fundamental problem afflicting the Muslims in this country is that they do not understand the issue of tawheed. Whereas he said, tawheed and iman is the ruh of Islam, which if corrupted, all deeds in Islam will be invalid and not accepted by Allah SWT.

The destroyer of the Muslims's tawheed according to him is the murji’ah understanding, which says that iman is sufficient in the heart. Meaning, this understanding of the murji’ah contends that the requirement for the iman to be valid is simply to have a faith in the heart and an oral pledge. There is no practice that becomes the requirement for the iman to be valid. So according to this understanding, there is no deed that nullifies iman.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir explained that iman is the belief in the heart, which is pronounced orally and practiced with the deeds. Therefore, one's iman can become invalid if his speech utters kufr, or his deed does kufr.

Regrettably, the murji’ah understanding, which according to him is more dangerous than the deviation of the khawarij, today is professed by many Muslims in Indonesia. Nowadays, many Muslims have fallen into apostasy due to this astray doctrine of murji’ah. This astray understanding of the murji’ah is exploited a lot by the thaghuts who rule the countries of the Muslims, including the thaghut in Indonesia. Whereas, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir said that these thaghuts are clearly denying the commandments of Allah SWT to regulate the country with the Islamic Shari'ah in kaafah (totality).

The Implementation of Islamic Shari'ah Needs an Islamic State

Finally, he advised the Islamic ummah to replace this thaghut regime with an Islamic system. The Islam Ummah must have the power, an Islamic state, the Daulah Islam, or whatever its name, so that the Islamic Shari'ah can be implemented in its totality, and this is the requirement of tawheed.

As for the way, or strategy to achieve it according to him is only two, namely da'wah and jihad. It will never be possible for an Islamic state to be established by way of democracy which is shirk, because it is mixing the haq (Islam) and the batil (democracy). Only with da'wah and jihad, that the Islamic ummah can establish an Islamic state, which would later apply the Islamic Shari'ah in kaafah. Allahu Akbar!

Two Mushrik Soldiers Killed In Pattani

PATTANI, Thailand - Two soldiers were killed by a powerful bomb explosion while delivering New Year presents to villagers in Pattani's Mayo district on Tuesday.

The slain troops were part of an eight-member team from the Pattani 25th Special Task Force travelling in a convoy of four motorcycles and a pickup truck to distribute New Year gifts to villagers at Moo 2 village in tambon Kra Sor. They were about one kilometre from their base when attacked around 10.30 am.

The bomb, buried under the road surface, exploded directly under a truck in which Lt Direksan Rattanasin, 26, a commander of the Task Force's 15312 Company, and Sgt Yutthaya Jampa, 25, were travelling. The truck was driven by Sgt Yutthaya.

The two men succumbed to their wounds while being taken to a hospital. Their colleagues were unhurt.

The intensity of the blast propelled the vehicle into the roadside ditch and totally wrecked it.

Mayo police said there were about 15kg of explosive in the improvised device. The explosion left a hole about one metre deep and two metres wide in the road. and was detonated by an electric wire.ut.

The Mufti Of The Thaghut Is A Thaghut

The first and the last to be the obligation for a Muslim is Tawheed; and the first pillar of Tawheed is kufr bi thaghut, or rejecting thaghut. Undoubtedly, one cannot be a Muslim unless he rejects all forms of thaghut, whether it be in the form of a concept, an object or a person (like the ruler who does not apply the Islamic law, or the ulama's who allow what Allah SWT forbids).

At-thaghut had been defined by the Sahabahs and earlier ulama's who followed the manhaj of the salafus soleh, as follows: “Something that is worshipped, adhered to, or followed other than Allah SWT.”

Imam Malik bin Anas rhm. said:

“At-thaghut is something that is worshipped besides Allah SWT.” (Al-Jaami’ li Ahkam Al-Qur’an, Imam al-Qurthubi)

Imam Ibnu Qayim rhm. said:

“At-thaghut is someone who respects a person exceeding the proper limitation, whether that someone is worshipping, obeying or following.” (Thalaathatul Usul)

Sheikhul Islam, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab rhm. said:

“And thaghut, in general, is something/someone that is worshipped besides Allah, and he agrees to be worshipped, followed or obeyed.” (Risalatun fii Ma’naa at-thaghut by Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahaab)

Someone could spend half of his life to talk about Islam, Jihad, Hajj, Solat, Da'wah, Qur’an, Sunnah, Siyaam, etc., but if he does not reject thaghut, then there is no point. This is because rejecting thaghut is the first requirement to be a Muslim. This covers the first part of the kalimah of Tawheed:

1. Laa ilaaha (an- Nafie – rejecting the thaghuts and false gods)
2. Illallah (Al-Ithbaat – establishing to believe)

At-Takhalii qablat Tahalii is something very well-known among the ulama's and thalabul ilmi (students/seekers of knowledge) which means: ‘rejecting before establishing’. A person cannot establish faith in Allah SWT and believe in His Rasul, His Book, until he rejects all forms of kufr, shirk and bid’ah.

The Key To Understand The Kalimah Of Tawheed

Allah SWT says:

“…So whoever rejects Thaghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it.…” (QS Al Baqarah (2): 256)

Understanding the kalimah is the first precondition of Tawheed and an obligation for every Muslim. Allah SWT has informed us in the above verse that only by rejecting thaghut and then believing in Allah, that success in the hereafter will be achieved.
Rasulullah SAW said:

“A person who dies and understands the laa ilaaha illaallah will go to heaven.” (HR.Muslim)

Next, the secret to understanding the kalimah is in rejecting thaghut. It is very important for us to learn how to reject thaghut – if we are to have a proper understanding of how to understand the Laa ilaaha illallah.

How To Reject Thaghut

There are five ways to reject thaghut:

1. Declaring that the Thaghut is Batil

The first way of rejecting requires the belief that all tawaghit (all types of thaghut) are null and not useful in the slightest to be obeyed or worshipped. Some people may not worship the thaghut, but they do not believe that it is something that is absolutely wrong, that thaghut is kufr just as a Muslim must believe that Islam is the only true religion, while all other religions are wrong, and that Allah SWT is the only true God and all other gods are batil. Allah SWT says:

“And [mention, O Muhammad], when We designated for Ibrahim the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate."” (QS Al-Hajj : 26)

2. Staying away from the Thaghut

Allah SWT says that He has sent Messengers to the entire human race with the same message: worshipping and obeying Allah alone, and avoiding thaghut:

“And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Thaghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers (of the Messengers).” (QS An-Nahl (16): 36)

The commandment to “avoid” has a greater implication than to simply “not supporting”. This is because the command to avoid is greater than the command to not doing (in usul fiqh).

As an example, Allah SWT commands us to avoid or stay away from alcohol (khamr); for a greater reason we are not allowed to carry a bottle of beer. The same thing with Allah SWT commanding us to avoid thaghut. If being near thaghut itself is prohibited, what to say about allowing a person to be the thaghut's assistant, ally, minister or mufti (fatwa giving ulama'), moreover Rasulullah SAW said:

“Anyone who worships (obeys or follows) tawaghit are tawaghit.” (HR. Muslim no. 182)

Based on this hadith, we can take a principle: someone who worships, follows or adhers to the thaghut is a thaghut.

Thus, the mufti (ulama') of the thaghut is a thaghut, the ally of the thaghut is a thaghut, the helper of the thaghut is a thaghut, the supporter of the thaghut is a thaghut, the minister of the thaghut is a thaghut, the representative the thaghut is a thaghut, the police of the thaghut is a thaghut, and the army of the thaghut is a thaghut.

This is the same as the general rule: ‘Anyone who is allied with the kafir is kafir’ and ‘Anyone who joins the army of the Kuffaar is a Kuffaar.’ (based on surah Al-Ma’idah (5) : 51).

Umar bin Khattab said: “The thaghut is satan.” To make the above principle more easily understood and more undeniable, the term thaghut can replaced with satan. Isn't that a kufr akbar, or even shirk, to become a mufti of satans (that could take the form of jin and human)? Wouldn't it be murtad to join the army and police of satan? Wouldn't it be kufr to become the representative of satan? Only someone who doesn't have a good understanding of the laa ilaaha ilallah would say no.

This is something shocking for the people of Murji’ah (people who dissociate iman from deeds) who make some dispensations for the mufti of the thaghut and give them the ‘dubious advantage’ but they do not make a dispensation for the ulama's who are haq and have the walaa’ with the Muslims and have the baraa’ah with the Kuffar.
They spend hours to talk about ‘the goodness’ of the thaghut muftis and the people who are allied with the murtad rulers, but they couldn't find even a single good thing about those who obey the commandments of Allah and avoid the thaghut. At its peak, these ulama's who are haq have the courage to blame, criticize and do takfir (giving the status of kafir) on those who justify the existence of thaghut, and then supporting them by making fatwa. This concept of “Irjaa” is a deviation and hypocrisy that needs to be removed from the Muslims.

Someone who does takfir (giving the status of kafir) on the supporters, mufti, or minister of satan (thaghut) will never be blamed by a Muwahid (someone who possesses a true Tawheed).

3. Declaring the Abhorrence of Thaghut

We must declare that all the thaghuts (tawaghit) are our enemies just as they are the enemies of Allah SWT. If someone does not declare that they (the tawaghit) are batil, and he does not stay away and declare the abhorrence of them, it means that he is not rejecting the thaghut. Naturally, if someone understands that the thaghut is his enemy, he would not ally with him or become the mufti of his kufr regime. Allah SWT says:

“There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Ibrahim and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone"…” (QS Al-Mumtahanah (60): 4)

Yaa Allah... give Your blessings to Ibrahim AS and also to the family of Ibrahim! Indeed, they are the true Muwahideen, they stayed away from the thaghuts and declared hatred against them.

The Anbiyaa’ and Saliheen did not tolerate the ulama's to be at the doors of the tyrants. Moreover, it is not allowed to be at the doors of the thaghut rulers who have been allied with the people who are fighting the Muslims, and rejecting the Shari’ah.

4. Hating the Thaghut

After we have declared that the thaghut is batil, stayed away from it and declared it as our enemy, we should then hate the thaghut. In Islam, There is no concept of “liking the enemy”. The fact is, it is forbidden to love the enemies, and if we do it, then it is is a folly.

“There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Ibrahim and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone"…” (QS Al Mumtahanah (60) : 4)

It is forbidden to show the love or affection to the thaghuts, or to their forces, supporters, assistants, muftis, ministers and so on.

5. Declaring that the Thaghut is Kafir (Takfir)

After declaring that the thaghut is batil, avoiding it, declaring hatred against it and hating the thaghut, one must then carry out takfir (declaring kafir) against the thaghut (satan). It is something impossible if the thaghut is Muslim, because a thaghut is what is worshipped or adhered to other than Allah SWT.

“…So whoever rejects Thaghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it.…” (QS Al-Baqarah (2): 256)

A person who does not declare satan (thaghut) as kafir, then he is kafir. This is because Allah SWT declares satan as kafir in the Qur’an. Furthermore, Allah SWT also declares a person who worships a thaghut as kafir:

“Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Thaghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.” (QS An Nisa (4) : 60)

It is is something highly desirable by satans to make us become kafir like them, by luring us to approach the thaghut which should be shunned. Next, this becomes the essence for us to understand the Tawheed and how to reject the thaghut, rejecting the thaghut is a key to understanding the kalimah of Tawheed and achieving paradise.

Seeking Knowledge from the Ulama's of the Rulers

It is something not good to read the books of the ulama's of the rulers, the muftis (ulama's) of thaghut or the Ulama's who contradict the Qur’an and Sunnah. Allah SWT says:

“And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped.” (QS Huud (11): 113)

Who is more wrong than the one who defends satans or the people who create dispensations for their kufr? If one does not reject the thaghut (in reality, not just in theory) how can we trust him for the affairs of our dien (religion)? Tawheed is the major issue that must be heeded.

May Allah SWT show us to apply what we've learned, for those who do not want to be like the donkey that carries volumes of books:

“The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” (QS Al-Jumu’ah (62): 5)

Feminism, Goodness Or Jahiliyah (Ignorance)?

Not a few of our women love to be elusive, avoiding the basic roles and duties which they perceived as a binding problem. What the girls want is to be free and dynamic always, ending up in them becoming lazy to be a wife. Once they have become a wife, the still do not stop making sensations, they are phobic to have children. Even if they are forced to have, it is sufficient to slip just once, so they say. Still they don't want to give their breast milk, whereas it is the best and most pleasant for the children.

This phenomenon is now flourishing among the communities of the Earth, it is no exception here which is called the Nusantara (Malay Archipelago). In the life of the world which is increasingly global, the war is not just with the missiles, let alone with the swords. Through the mass media, the colonization is no longer visible to the naked eye. The colonizers and the colonized could be of one hope and one feeling, equally proud. The colonization of the culture flows together with the flow of funds. Feminism is one of its names.

Feminism is being sold with the packaging of the women's struggle, the liberation of women. The jargon of gender equality emerged, women and men are not different at all, except on reproductive functions. It is considered normal when refusing to use their rights of reproduction. Imagine if it is adopted by all the women of this country, perhaps the birth rate in this country can be counted with the fingers.

They are making an opinion that a woman who is willing to be just a housewife means she has no value. "Because they want to be oppressed to do the despised job," the voices of the feminists echoed. It's as if they have struggled for the women, concerned about the fate of the young females. That inevitably the teens today are taken in by such opinion. This is what we, the Muslim families, must face wisely and carefully.

It cannot be denied that the men and women are different, this is the sunnah of the Creator's decree. Have we ever paid attention to the numerous bird species? The Parrot's beak is curved, because it eats seeds, not vegetable. The Pelican has a large pouch under its beak to hold the fish as its supply of food. The stork has a long bill in order to help it to prey on fish in the water without drowning. Subhanallah!

The same goes with the human, ever since they are in the form of seeds, they already have different characteristics. The maturer they are, the more differences they have which cannot be prevented and avoided. The muscle of men develops stronger, their organs are also heavier. The female infants grow with the organs typical of womanhood.

Don't all these differences have any meaning? They are proofs of the existence of the essential differences of women and men. Elaborately and very perfectly, Allah SWT devises the physical forms in accordance with the duty of each throughout their lives.

It must be honestly acknowledged, the differences in the roles, tasks and specifications between the two human genders have already been carried innately (fitrah) since birth. It is very illogical indeed (for a healthy and logical mind) if anyone says there is no division of basic duties between the two, like the opinion of the feminists.

The division of roles and social responsibilities bring implications on the differences in various other fields related to marriage life. This is what's combated by the feminists. Meaning the feminism is violating the sunnatullah.

Nevertheless, if the sunnatullah is violated it would definitely result in a shift in the balance. The marriage life, social life, etc. would be limping. In the end, chaos would arise.

Let it be realized, we –the women and men- do have the rights as individuals. But something should not be forgotten, i.e. we live in this world with a mission. If Allah SWT set the men as such, so do the women, they have a mission in accordance with their nature. Allah SWT is our Creator, of course He knows what is best for us.

The fighters in His cause will always be in confrontation with the fighters of insolence. Let us be alert, do not make our families victims of the radical feminism!

Statement Of The World Ulama's About Khilafah, Throughout The Unrest In The Middle East

The ulama's who are mukhlis in this world agree to actualize the return of the Khilafah. Their calls to establish the Khilafah which is a bisharah nabawaiyah (the glad tidings from the Prophet), are clearly and openly proclaimed by them in the Friday sermons or in the meetings with the ummah.

In 2009, the ulama's assembled in Jakarta in the Muktamar Ulama Nasional (National Conference of Islamic Scholars). Present there were the ulama's of the world who gave their testimonies about the desire of the ulama's to establish the Khilafah, as delivered by the ulama's from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Palestine, Europe, Syria and other countries.

At the end of the year 2010 and 2011, when uprisings occurred in the Middle East, which started from Tunisia, Egypt to other countries including Syria, the ulama's also spoke out loud about the promise of Rasulullah regarding the reestablishment of the Khilafah which is suited to the prophetic method. They talked out loud and openly, without anything hidden at all, in the presence of the ummah.

Sheikh Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz at Masjid Nur, Cairo, Egypt, in a Friday sermon before the thousands of Muslim jama'ah, as well as broadcasted live via local TV, firmly and with full confidence delivered the promise of Allah as contained in the Qur'an's surah an-Nur verse 55:

"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient." (QS. An-Nur: 55)

Other ulama's also stated the same thing, i.e. to strive toward the return of the Khilafah. "I give glad tidings based on the glad tidings of the Prophet (SAW), that there will Khilafah in the end times. And who knows, the events that are taking place the Muslim worlds maybe paving way for the return of the Khilafah," said a Sheikh in a TV show.

"We believe with certainty that the Khilafah will be established, whether America, Europe, and the secularists like it or not," he asserted.

"This is the promise of Allah and Rasulullah. I say to you, O youths of the ummah! receive this good tidings. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, the great Battle will occur, and the banner of Jihad will rise upon the ground of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided) will come to Al-Quds (Jerusalem)" said Sheikh Muhammad Hassan, in February 2011, in a TV show.

"What is oppressive rule? It is a ruler who forces the people to submit to himself. Such as Gaddafi (Libya): 'Either me or I will burn everything'. Mubarak (Egypt): 'Either me or chaos'. Ben Ali (Tunisia): ... the same thing! Abdullah Saleh (Yemen): ... the same thing! This is oppressive rule," Sheikh Abdullah Nahari asserted, Egypt, April 2011.

"During Ramadan last year, I was talking about political reports. Prediction reports and Islamic research, all of which indicate that the new Era for the Khilafah is on the way!", Sheikh Abdul Majeed al-Zindani, asserted in Yemen, March 2011, responded with takbeer by the thousands of Muslims.

"As a result of being angered and saddened by the plight of the Muslims, we used to ask Allah (SWT), for death rather than witnessing this humiliation. But Allah has prolonged our lives and we live to witness these victories occur. We changed the do'a, and now we ask Allah to prolong our lives, and allow us, even for a moment, to live under the banner of the Khilafah." said Sheikh Abdullah Nahari.

"O Muslims! Rise up to aid and support the call for Khilafah, even if it is at the expense of your lives!" said Sheikh al-Zaghby, Egypt, March 2011.

"The majority if Islamic scholars today say that this period which we live in today is the period of oppressive rule. The rule by force. Be patient, so you can hear (what is to come). This oppressive rule, its usurpation of power is by force. And it maintains itself by force. And its downfall will by force!" said Sheikh Zindani.

"This masjid has a message. The message that every masjid must have and the message of the masjid is the message of Islam and about the Oneness of Allah and the teaching of the people so that they worship Allah, the worship of the people to their Lord to the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah amongst them," said Sheikh Umar ibn Abd al-Azaiz, Cairo Egypt.

"We, when was the shari'ah and the Islamic Khilafah, and the shari'ah was implemented, we had honour. We saw noble responses such as... 'From Harun al-Rashid, the leader of the Believers, to Nakfour, the dog of Rome: as to what follows, My reply is what you will see, not what you will hear (a promise).' We saw him addressing the clouds, saying: 'Go wherever you want, for indeed your Kharaj (land tax) will come to me here, insha Allah.' We tasted honour, my brothers. But we strayed away from Islam," said Sheikh Dr. Hazim Shawman, Egypt, March 2011.

"Our striving, now, must be in accordance with this text about which the Prophet (SAW) told us. We must strive to move from the era of the 'Oppressive Rule' to the era of Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood. And all the times that is slipping through our hands these days, is a time that extends the life of this oppressive rule," said Sheikh Hatim Fareed, From Masjid Bilal, Iskandariyah, Egypt, April 2011.

"So, either we continue to extend this period, or we try to shorten it and speak about Islam and about the Rule of Allah, The Exalted, and His revelation. However, there are some people who do not want this," Sheikh Hatim Fareed added.

"Verily, the matter is certain and is definite, and in fact has the ijma' (consensus) of all ulama's and the consensus is an evidence as the Prophet (SAW) said, 'My ummah will not unite upon falsehood.' A consensus is a proof... for example there is in fiqh, a consensus of the ulama's on the obligation upon Muslims of appointing a Khalifah and establishing an authority/state to implement the rules of Islam.. A consensus, an ijma'!" said Sheikh Hazim Salah, Egypt, February, 2011.

"The land of Islam is one, and is not allowed to be separated or divided. Indeed, there is a hadith of Rasul (SAW) that he said, 'If an oath of allegiance is given to two Khalifahs, kill the second one.' In another narration, 'kill the latter.' This means that the original rule for Muslims is that they should only have one ruler who leads them", said Sheikh Ali bin Hajj, Algeria, October, 2010.

"And if someone else tries to fight him over the authority, the Prophet (SAW) ordered to kill him person, in order to prevent the disorder and tribulations (that would arise from disunitgy). Look today at the Islamic World, how many presidents.. how many kings.. how many leaders... who if indeed they love the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (SAW), they would have chosen to instead tear down these borders and barriers, and select one ruler to rule by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW)," Sheikh Ali bin Hajj further said.

"And that's why I am calling you to this idea.. the concept of Islamic activists united under the Islamic Khilafah, and by Khilafah, I mean the genuine Khilafah Rashidah," said Sheikh Nadir al-Tamimin, Palestina, March 2011.

"And if they said they wanted a separation from religion or to separate religion from politics, then that would be contradict my creed as a Muslim. Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an, "If you disagree on a matter, then its judgment is for Allah," Sheikh Hatim Fareed added.

"Rasulullah (SAW) said, "Prophethood will be with you so long as Allah wills it . Then it will be removed if Allah wills. Then there will be Khilafah on the method of Prophethood (Khilafah 'ala minhajin nubuwwah), so long as Allah wills it, then it will be removed if Allah wills. Then there will be biting rule (hereditary rule) so long as Allah wills it. Then there will be oppressive rule so long as Allah wills it, then it will be removed if Allah wills. Then there will Khilafah on the method of Prophethood then the Prophet fell silent," Sheikh Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz asserted at Masjid Nur, Cairo, Egypt, 2011.

Thus, the ulama's who are mukhlis in many parts of the world have dared to declare the truth to greet the bisharah nabawiyah (glad tidings from the Prophet), that the Khilafah will return. Therefore, it is time that the Muslims and their ulama's are united in actualizing that promise of Rasulllah (SAW). Insha Allah, the Khilafah is getting closer.

The Prohibition On Making And Worshiping Statues In Al-Kitab

Bissmillah, as Muslims we believe in the kitab (scriptures) sent down by Allah, including one of which is Al-Kitab Injeel (Gospels/Bible), although we believe that the existing Injeel has undergone changes by the accursed hands, there are still some verses that are in tune with the teachings of Tawheed. In the Bible, there are quite a number of Allah's prohibitions on making statues and idols and the like, let alone to worship and prostrate before the statue or idol. However, what we find, almost every house of the Christians are displaying the statue of Jesus with his mother Mary and others.

Besides statues, pictures of Jesus and Mary can also be found almost for certain on all Christians. And generally they are very respectful of the statuettes, pictures or paintings of the face of Jesus and his mother Mary. Whereas, it is very clear in the Bible that Allah forbids the making or the worshiping of statues.

Exodus 20: 4-5 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them;”

Deuteronomy 4: 23 “Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the LORD your God has forbidden.”

Leviticus 26: 1 “Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God.”

Jeremiah 10: 1-8 “Hear what the LORD says to you, O house of Israel. This is what the LORD says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them. For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good." No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.”

The commandments of Allah that are so clear, firm and strong, are not practiced at all by all Christians, they proudly display the sculptures and images of Jesus and Mother Mary. Thus Muslims, wherever we encounter them, never establish a statue or a picture of Prophet Muhammad in their houses.

In the Qur’an Allah Ta’ala says :

“And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful."” (14: 35-36)

“And those they invoke other than Allah create nothing, and they [themselves] are created.They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.” (16:20-21)

“And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father Azar, "Do you take idols as deities? Indeed, I see you and your people to be in manifest error."” (6:74)

“They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted." Abraham said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate?,Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?", They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus."He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshiping,You and your ancient forefathers? Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds."” (26:71-77)

“So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question]. They said, "Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers." They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham." They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people that they may testify." They asked, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?" Abraham said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak." So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers." Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" Abraham said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah . Then will you not use reason?"” (21:58-67)

The proofs that the Christians are making statues, in fact they are even worshiping them are; the sign of the cross, the statue of Jesus, the statue of Joseph, the statue of the Angel, the statue of the Virgin Mary, the Christmas tree, and other statues. Another thing, during the EASTER celebration there is the ceremony of kissing the statue of Jesus crucified on the CROSS. Those are the evidences of their worship of idols. And of course Prophet Isa ‘alaihissalam whom they claim to be Lord Jesus, couldn't be teaching to worship others besides Allah.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says in the Qur’an:

“They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.” (5:72)

“And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.” (5:116)

It is already clear that, it is not true that the Christians are following the teachings of Prophet Isa Al-Masih (The Messiah), and are using Al-Kitab/Injeel as their guidance. This is only a few of the proofs of the falsehood that they make against Allah and the teachings of Prophet Isa ‘alaihissalam.

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia – The following is an official release by the accused terrorists (Mujahideen) from Aceh who took part in the military training (I’dad) in Jantho 2010 last year. This statement was made while they were in the Polda Metro Jaya Detention House, Jakarta. According to reports, these Mujahideen from Aceh will now be transferred to Tanjung Gusta Prison, Medan. The following is their official statement as quoted from the website, Aceh Loen Sayang.

AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT AS A CLARIFICATION ON THE VARIOUS NEWS REPORTINGS AND ACCUSATIONS

All praises be to Allah, Who honours Islam with His help, humiliates idolatry (shirk) with His power, regulates all affairs with His commands, extends the time limitation for the Kuffaar with His makar (plot), Who alternates the days for mankind with His justice, and makes the end result as belonging to the people of taqwa with His goodness.

Salawat and salam be showered upon Prophet Muhammad, the man with whose sword Allah raises high the tower of Islam. Amma Ba’du :

With respect to the activity of I’dad Tadrib ‘Askary (Military Training) in the mountains of Jalin Jantho in February 2010 last year, as well as the emergence of the various news reportings and the accusations against it.

Therefore, we as the sons of Aceh who participated in it, would like to explain a few things, especially to the people of Aceh, as follows:

1. The actual intent and objective of why the Tadrib ‘Askary (Military Training ) was held, since its inception was solely as a preparation to help our brothers, the Muslims who are oppressed and colonized criminally in various parts of the lands of Islam and the Muslims, especially the holy land of Palestine, committed by a coalition of colonialist America, Israel and their allies. This is, as has been commanded by Allah Ta’ala in His verse:

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.” (QS. Al-Anfal : 60)

2. As for the reporting which said that our intent and objective in organizing the I’dad Tadrib ‘Askary was to launch attacks against the foreign NGO's that are present in Aceh, then we can explain as follows: It is true, there were some among us who have heard of the talks about foreign NGO's in Aceh from a number of military training program administrators. But as far as we know, these talks emerged due to the spreading of issues about the existence of double missions by some foreign NGO's that are present in Aceh. Those double missions are i.e. the Balkanization of Aceh, the Exploitation of Aceh's natural wealth, and the missions of Christianization or apostatization of the people of Aceh.

And at that time, what we knew consisted of 2 points which were taken up by the military training administrators in connection with the existence of those issues, namely:

First, We would be looking for strong evidence about the double missions of some of these foreign NGO's. Because we know that not all foreign NGO's that are present in Aceh have double missions. There are foreign NGO's that purely want to provide aids to the people of Aceh who were hit by the earthquake and tsunami disasters. However, we are also not stupid supposing there were some among them who wanted to deceive us. Meaning, they are giving a little help to us, but then they divide our people/nation (Balkanization), plunder our natural wealth (Exploitation), and apostatize our community/Christianization.

Second, If indeed we could obtain strong evidence, then our aim would be to thwart the double missions of those foreign NGO's. And at that time, there had been no talk at all of how to thwart them if indeed the existence of the double missions were proven to be true. Therefore, if it was said that we've been planning attacks on foreign NGO's in Aceh, then that's a big lie. Because we know for sure, most of those who work for the foreign NGO's in Aceh are the people of Aceh themselves, so it is impossible for us to do something which would cause casualties on the people of Aceh themselves.

This is what we know from the military training program in Jantho in which we participated in it. Indeed, we are not looking to do cruelty or terror, but instead we wish so that the colonization (especially against Muslims) is wiped out from the face of this earth. We are not looking to do harm, but instead we want to proetct the natural wealth from the foreign hands that want to plunder them. This is simply what we are for what it is. We made ijtihad according to our ability and understanding at that time. If it turns out that this ijtihad we are taking is wrong, then we beg Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla so that He will be willing to forgive our sins and our errors, as well as improve our conditions.

3. Here we would also like to convey, that the Aceh Government has rejected our presence to undergo the penalty in a Prison that is available in Aceh. Our return was annulled by the Aceh Government at the last minutes we were about to be returned, whereas the Central Government themselves have approved, and even urged the Aceh Government to accept our placement in a penitentiary in Aceh. However, the Aceh Government is still hellbent in rejecting us, and “throwing us out” to the Tanjung Gusta Prison in Medan. How could this happen? Whereas, the scene of our incidents was in Aceh, our trial was in Jakarta, then why should we be “thrown out” to Medan? Is this all because that the Aceh Government fears that our presence in Aceh would affect the entrance of foreign investors into Aceh.

If indeed it is true, then the Aceh Government has the heart to cast out their own sons for the sake of kowtowing and acquiring a bit of the riches of the world from those foreign investors. Whereas, we do not yet know for sure, what actually are the missions of those foreign investors in Aceh? Why are they so attracted to Aceh? But, what is already certain and clearly visible in front of us is that, the foreign investors are never willing if the Islamic Shari'ah is implemented in Aceh in Kaffah. And indeed, what is done by the Government of Aceh reminds us of a piece of history in the life of our noble Prophet, Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam, namely when the leaders Quraysh took the stance of not allowing him to return to Makkah because of his faith on the verses of Allah.

4. Imam As-Shafi’i (Rahimahullah) ever said: “If loving the Ahlul Bait is said to be rafidhi (Shi’ah), let me be called rafidhi (Shi’ah)”.

Thus, here we would like to say too: If wanting to help the Muslims who are criminally occupied by the Zionist-Crusader alliance, if wanting to implement the Islamic Shari'ah in Aceh in kaffah, if wanting to protect the natural wealth in Aceh from the hands of the invaders, if all those is said to be Terrorism, then let the whole world and Acehnese witness, THAT WE ARE TERRORISTS.

5. Last, before we end this sheet,we want to say something:

First, to both of our parents and our families: Be patient O father and mother. Perhaps, indeed the taqdeer of Allah will have not yet brought us together anytime soon, or even maybe we would never meet again in this world. But please believe, Allah Ta’ala our Rabb never sleeps and is All-Knowing of the injustices that we are receiving. And every injustice, no matter how small, would surely reap its consequence, sooner or later, whether it be in this world or in the hereafter later.

Second, to the people of Aceh : Let us implement the Islamic Shari'ah in Aceh in kaffah according to the Qur’an and Sunnah because that is an obligation assigned on us all by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. And be always wary of the plots of the enemies of Allah from the Zionist and Crusader alliances in our country. Because indeed, their covert colonization on the countries of the Muslims, is no longer a secret for us all. Thus was the clarification that we can convey. And the final word, Alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alamin..

The Daleels On The Haram Ruling Of Celebrating The A.D. New Year

The A.D. new year in our time is celebrated in a grand scale. Sounds of trumpet and fireworks displays emblazon almost all parts of the world in the West, as well as in the East. It is no different whether the majority of the population are kafir or Muslim. Whereas, the celebration is synonymous with the festive days of the Christians.

Many batil beliefs exist on new year's eve. Among others are, whoever drinks the last glass of wine from the bottle after midnight, he will earn good luck. If he is a bachelor, he will be the first person to find a soul mate from among his friends on that night. Other beliefs are, entering the house on the eve of the new year without bringing gifts is a form of misfortune, washing clothes and eating utensils that day is also a sign of misfortune, letting the fire burning all night of the new year will bring a lot of luck, and many other forms of superstitions.

Indeed, those batil beliefs were adopted from the batil beliefs of Christianity. Where the truth is, adopting and imitating these batil beliefs is haram. Because whoever practices tashabbuh (resembling/imitating) on a people, then he is one of them.

It Is Haram To Practice Tashabuh On The Kuffaar

In brief, performing tashabbuh here means one's attempt to resemble someone else that he wants to be the similar to, whether it be in appearance, characteristic or attribute.

Among the fundamental matters of our religion is to give love to Islam and its adherents, having bara’(abhorring and having nothing to do with) against kufr and its members. And the most visible sign of bara’ is the difference of a Muslim from the Kuffaar, being proud of his religion and feeling honoured with his Islam, no matter how great the strength of the Kuffaar and the progress of their civilization are.

Although the condition of the Muslims is weak, underdeveloped, while the strength of the Kuffaar is very good, still the Muslims cannot make it as an excuse to emulate the Kuffar and a justification to resemble them, as articulated by the munafiqeen and invaders. This is all because of the Shari'e texts which declare haram the act of tashabbuh on the Kuffaar and the prohibition of emulating them does not distinguish between the weak and strong conditions. And also because a Muslim -to the best of his ability- must feel noble with his religion and honoured by his Islam, irrespective of whether they are weak or underdeveloped.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala calls on the Muslims to feel proud and honoured with his religion. He classifies it as the best speech and the most glorious honour in His verse,

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims."” (QS. Fuşşilat : 33)

Due to the extreme urgency of this issue, i.e. for a Muslim to be different from the Kuffaar, Allah commands the Muslims to pray to Him at least 17 times a day, in order to be distanced from the way of life of the Kuffaar and to be guided to the straight path.

اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

“Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.” (QS. Al-Fatihah: 6-7)

There are so many nas (texts) of the Qur’an and Sunnah which forbid the act of tashabbuh on them and explain that they are in error.

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَى شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاء الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

“Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.” (QS. Al-Jāthiyah : 18)

وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءهُم بَعْدَ مَا جَاءكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ وَاقٍ

“And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allah any ally or any protector.” (QS. Ar-Ra`d : 37)

وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاخْتَلَفُواْ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ

“And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them.” (QS. Ali Imran: 105)

Allah calls for the believers to be khushu’ when uttering the zikr (remembrance) of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and reading His verses, thus He says,

وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

“And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient (fasiq).” (QS. al-Hadid: 16)

No doubt, resembling them is one of the clearest indication of the presence of love and affection for them. This is contrary to the attitude of bara’ah (abhorring and having nothing to do with) against kufr and its doers. Whereas, Allah has forbidden the Mu'mineen from loving, being loyal to and supporting them. While supporting and being loyal to them is the cause to be a part of their group, -may Allah save us from it -.

Allah Ta’ala says,

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ

“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them.” (QS. Al-Mā'idah : 51)

“You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred.” (QS. Al-Mujadilah: 22)

Sheikhul Islam Ibnu Taimiyah said, “Resembling (them) will produce affection, love and defence for them within our batin (inner selves). Just as how the love in our batin will give birth to mushabahah (wanting to resemble) in zahir (outwardly).” He further said in explaining the above verse, “Then He Subhanahu wa Ta’ala informs, it will never be found where a Mu'min loves the Kuffaar. So whoever loves the Kuffaar, he is not a Mu'min. And a zahir resemblance will foster love, due to that it is haram.”

The Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said,

مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ

“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (HR. Abu Dawud, Ahmad and made saheeh by Ibnu Hibban. Ibnu Taimiyah mentioned in his book, Al-Iqtidha’ and in his Fatawa. Made saheeh by Al-Albani in his Saheeh al-Jami’ no. 2831 and 6149)

Sheikhul Islam said, “This hadith –the lightest- seeks the prohibition of tashabbuh on them, although its zahir holds kafir the people who resemble them, such as in the verse of Allah Ta’ala, “Whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them.” (QS. Al-Maidah: 51).” (Al-Iqtidha’: 1/237)

Imam al-San’ani rahimahullaah said, “When one resembles the Kuffaar in the dresses and believes that he can become like them with those dresses, he has become kafir. If he does not believe (as such), there is a khilaf in it amongst the fuqaha’s: Some said he becomes kafir, according to the zahir of the hadith; And some others said, he does not become kafir but should be given sanctions warning.” (See: Subulus Salam about the sharah of the mentioned hadith).

Ibnu Taimiyah rahimahullaah mentioned, that resembling the Kuffaar is one of the main causes of the loss (alienation of shi’ar) of religion and the shari'ah of Allah, and the emergence of kufr and transgressions. Just as preserving the sunnah and shari'ah of the Prophets becomes the main key to every goodness. (See: Al-Iqtidha’: 1/314)

The Types Of Resembling The Kuffaar In Their Festive Days

The Kuffaar –with their various religions and sects- have a motley of festive days. Some are religious in nature which make the foundation of their religion, or the festive days which they themselves created to be a part of their religion. However, mostly originate from the tradition and momentum where a festive day is purposely created to commemorate it. Such as the grand National day and the likes.

Furthermore, there are a few examples as follows:

1. The days to worship their God, such as the festive days of the death of Jesus Christ, Easter, Mass, Christmas, A.D. New Year, and so on. A Muslim is categorised as resembling them in two conditions:

First, Participating in the said festive days. Although this festival is held by the non-muslim minority groups in the land of the Muslims, and then some Muslims took part in it, like what had happened during the time of Ibnu Taimiyah and Imam Dzahabi. This sort of reality spread in the lands of the Muslims. Even worse, there are some of the Muslims who travel to the land of the Kuffaar to attend those festivals and participate in it, either to obey their carnal desires or to fulfill the invitation of the Kuffaar, as experienced by the Muslims who live in the kafir land, the government officials, or the businessmen who receive the invitation from their business associates to sign a business contract. All of this is haram and it is feared that it would cause kufr based on the hadith, “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Surely, the people who do it are aware that it comes under the shi’ar of their religion.

Second, Adopting the celebrations of the Kuffaar in the countries of the Muslims. The people who attended the celebration of the Kuffaar in their countries, and then with their ignorance and weakness of iman, they are fascinated by the celebration. Then they brought in the celebration to the countries of the Muslims, such as the A.D. new year celebration. This condition is worse than the first, because they did not only participate in celebrating the shi’ar of the Kuffaar's religion in their countries, but sadly they brought them into the Muslim countries.

2. The festive days which initially were the shi’ar (symbol) of the Kuffaar, and then with time were transformed into a global tradition and celebration, such as the Olympics Games of the ancient Greece which nowadays becomes the International sporting event participated by all the countries listed in the International Olympics Committee (IOC). Participation in it are of two forms:

First, attending the opening ceremony and its carnival in the kafir country like what are done by many Muslim countries which send their athletes to take part in the various sport competition held.

Second, bringing in this celebration into the countries of the Muslims, like in the case of some Muslim countries which request to be the host and organizer of this Olympics.

It cannot be held and organized in the Muslim countries for some reasons:

a. This Olympics was initially a festive day of the the ancient Greek pagans and it is the most historic day for them, and then inherited by the Romans and preserved by the Christians.

b. The event has a name in which the meaning is very known by the Greeks as their ritual.

Its existence as a sport pageant does not right away change its status as the festive day of the pagans based on its name and origin. The basis of the haram status of the celebration is the hadith from Tsabit bin Dhahak radhiyallahu ‘anhu, he said, “Someone had a nazar (vow) at the time of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam to slaughter a camel in Bawwanah –i.e. the name of a place-, He then came to the Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam and said: “I vow to slaughter a camel at Bawwanah.” Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said: “Isn't there jahiliyyah idol that they worshipped there?” They said: “No.” He asked again: “Isn't their feast day celebrated there?” They said: “No.” He said: “Carry on with your nazar, indeed a nazar in the form of transgressions against Allah and that which the sons of Adam cannot afford to do, should not be done.” (HR. Abu Dawud and his sanad fits the Sarat as-Saheehain)

Measured with the hadith of the Prophet above, that the origin of this periodic sports event is the feast day of the Kuffaar, this is made haram just as it is prohibited to slaughter a camel for Allah at a place which is used for a celebration of the feast of the Kuffaar. And the difference in the time and place does not affect the substance of the reason for the prohibition of the slaughter.

Ibnu Taimiyah rahimahullaah explained, this hadith contains a meaning that the venue used for the celebration of their feast day cannot be used for slaughtering, even if it is in the form of a nazar. Just as if the venue is used as a place for placing their idols. A nazar of such kind signifies a glorification of that place, which is glorified by them (the kuffaar) for the celebration of their festive days, or it signifies a form of participation in celebration of the festive days. Or also to enliven their shi’ar there. When making special a place of celebration of their religion is prohibited, what about the very celebration itself?! (Summarized from Al-Iqtidha’: 1/344)

Whereas, as for this Olympics, it is not just the time or place, but also the feast day itself based on its naming and the activities it contains, like the igniting of the Olympics Games torch. Whereas, it is a symbol of their festive day. And this sports event is also exercised exactly on the time of the celebration of the Olympic feast day, performed once every four years.

3. Resembling The Kuffaar In Celebrating The Islamic Festive Days

The form of tashabbuh on the Kuffaar can also happen in the celebration of the Islamic feast days, 'Eidul Fitri and Adha. Namely, celebrating the feast days of Islam in ways that are normally done by the Kuffaar in celebrating their festive days.

Indeed, the festive days of the Muslims are ornamented with the shukr towards Allah Ta’ala, glorifying, praising and obeying Him. Being joyful in enjoying the gifts of favours from Allah Ta’ala without using it for committing transgressions. This is different from the festive days of the Kuffaar, celebrated to glorify the batil shi’ar and the idols that are worshipped besides Allah Ta’ala. In their celebration, they are immersed in the haram carnal desires.

But very sadly, there are many Muslims across the globe who resemble the Kuffaar in their transgressions. They modify the nuance of 'Edul Fitri and 'Eidul Adha as the seasons of obedience and shukr to become the season of commiting transgressions and being kufr ni'mat (denial of Allah's bounty), i.e. by filling the nights with music, songs, drunkenness, parties where men and women freely intermixed and many other form of transgressions. All this is caused by them imitating the Kuffaar ways in celebrating their festive days which are stuffed with following the carnal desires and immoralities.

May Allah guide us to the conditions He is more pleased with, not deviating from the rules of Islam and not doing tashabbuh on the kafir people in their ceremonies.

My Husband, Conduct Jihad In Allah's Cause!

To be a man, the duties are not light. And we, i.e. your wife and your children, understand this. On one hand, you struggle to work for a living, for the maintenance and whatever is best for us, to the extent that you forgot to take care of yourself. On the other hand, you also have to condition your self and your heart for your own interests, in addition to the fulfillment of your duties to Allah. Maybe it is hard for you to choose, or give precedence to which is more of a priority.

O my husband, please do not hesitate! Prioritize the interests of Allah over ours. And, insha Allah, we will be patient. Especially when the call of jihad is calling you, never you doubt again. Lighten your steps, and depart!

You are our hero. The exemplary leader of our family, so do not fear or worry when you are leaving us. I will be your faithful assistant, who will take care of the children and myself. Don't let the honour of our Muslim brothers be torn apart. Don't let the Kuffaar harass Islam, our honour.

Do not let the worldly affairs burden you, let alone if they bind you heart to remain here. Please depart!! As for us whom you leave behind… my husband, you still have me. And we both have Allah, Who will always protect us. Please have a full trust on that.

The affairs of this world, insha Allah, do not worry us. And if instead you only remain here in silence and with a light heart letting the oppression of our brothers and sisters, then how can I lift up my face, while Allah is not pleased with you?

You do know that, I too will one day be asked before Allah about my duty of being your companion. And what should I say to Him, when I would be questioned that I should have been you first alarm, that reminds when you are slack and forgetting that our aqeedah, our brothers and sisters are trampled underfoot by the Kuffaar.

My husband, have a transaction with Allah with your sweats in the arena of da'wah. And indeed, this is a transaction which will be very profitable for you, and also for us. Give away all assets of knowledge, properties, health, energy, in fact even your time with us, only for the establishment Laa ilaha illallah.

Make us proud before Allah for having a husband and father like you. Make us happy with your bravery and sacrifices in becoming a faithful soldier of Allah. Then we would really understand. We would really understand, even when you're far away and find it hard to be in our midst. We will understand that your duties are so many, compared to your available time, including the time for us.

My husband, in fact you will not be accompanying and be with us forever. Please believe, that I was not created by Allah to burden you, but to cheer you up and lighten your heavy tasks. Please believe that our children were not entrusted to us by Allah to stop your da'wah and jihad duties, but as our pleasers and the placements of our future ideals. Therefore, ease you thoughts on us, hopefully it can ease a little of your heavy tasks, your duties to Allah.

Delight us with your shaheed (martyrdom). So that you would later become a comforting memory and a good role model for our children. So that when they mature later, I will tell them, with my head raised, about the figure of their father who courageously became a soldier of tawheed, though you might not be with us anymore.

So never fear the human voices that rebuke you and insult us. Because indeed it is only the Ridha (pleasure) of Allah we are seeking. Isn't that the purpose of our marriage, my husband? Also don't you worry that it will disturb my thought and the mood of my heart. Enough is the ridha of Allah that pleases me, and enough is your ridha that comforts me.

And forgive me and these children of yours, if all these time we might have been burdening you with something outside of your capacity. And we're also going to learn to control ourselves so as not to trouble you again, insha Allah.

I also apologize, because I only have these two hands which I would surrender to you and can be used by you for anything for the sake of lightening up your burdens. I also apologize, because I only have a heart, which I learn to be pleased with, to comprehend and understand, as well as jointly feel the heaviness of your duties as a husband, and before Allah later on.

The committee of the American Red Cross has released a report on its webpage regarding the bodies of the dead (martyred) Taliban compared to those of the foreign forces. The mentioned committee which had the duty of collecting and burying the dead in Mazar Sharif province of Afghanistan showed its astonishment as to why the dead bodies of Taliban had not decayed or gave off foul smell?!! The report said that investigators initially thought that the cold weather was the reason behind this phenomenon however this theory was later shattered because the bodies of the northern alliance fighters which were lying in the same area had decayed and were also giving off a nauseating smell.

The report further says that it now wants to conduct a research on the type of food consumed by the Taliban fighters! The researchers also want to find out if there is a relationship between food and blood because the blood of some Taliban members keeps its warm temperatures even after their death!

It is the bounty of Allah that the enemies profess before friends to the miracles displayed by Taliban martyrs in the face of the crusader onslaught. It should be stated that if all the scientists and chemists of the entire planet were to gather and research their whole lives they would never be able to find the answer this puzzling question. For all we know, maybe they have even tried to locate the blessed body of Ibraheem (pbuh) so they can make fire resistant clothes for their soldiers by studying his biological makeup!!!

Here the speech by a renowned scholar (Ustaz Yasir) comes to mind which he made at the occasion of the funeral of a prominent commander of Islamic Emirate, Shaheed Mullah Abdul Manaan Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him): “Here I would like to give a simple example which can be understood by everyone and denied by no-one about why the Taliban are on the side of truth and the Kabul regime on the side of falsehood; why is it that our dead do not decay while giving off a pleasant fragrance whereas the dead of our opposition rot and give off a foul stench!?”

As the aroma from the body of the martyred Mullah Abdul Manaan kept emanating, the respected Ustaz added: "I challenge everyone to come! Let’s take one dead of ours and one from the opposition side which have been killed at the same time and with the same weapon. We will leave them in an identical physical and chemical state. Then let us observe as our dead beautifies and start to give a off a fragrance of musk while the body of the other becomes inflated and start to decay and smell bad! Now let the worlds specialists in the field of science and chemistry investigate and figure out its reason???"

We should also not forget that one of the major factors in the rise of defection in the ranks of army of Kabul is because of the miracles exhibited by the martyrs of Taliban. One group of ANA soldiers in Nangarhar province’s Ghani Khel district who abandoned their duties state the reason behind their defection as: “One time we fought a hand to hand battle with the Taliban in Kandahar province during which the Taliban retreated while both of our dead men left on the battlefield. We were then ordered to stay in the area for the night. As some time passed, our dead started to decay and emit a nauseating smell which can not be described in words. On the other hand, the dead Taliban had started to emit a strange and beautiful scent. So that was when our buddies left their dead and stood next to the bodies of the martyred Taliban”. These soldiers add: “So at daybreak, I and my buddies packed our personal belongings and abandoned everything else even though there was only two or three days left before our next paycheck and headed home!!!”

A whole book about the miracles displayed by martyrs in Jihad against the soviets has been compiled by the prominent martyred scholar Sheikh Abdullah Azzam (may Allah have mercy on him) under the title of ‘Ayat ar Rahmaan fi Jihad al Afghan’ (signs of ar Rahmaan in the Afghan Jihad) in which hundreds of incidents have been described. So may Allah give the scholars of our time the resolve to fold up their sleeves and write about the miracles displayed in the battlefields and by the martyrs in the current Jihad so the people can distinguish between truth and falsehood and consequently join the righteous side.

To end, I humbly request from the all the readers to sincerely pray for me that I be able to perform Jihad and in the end be blessed with martyrdom, the virtues of which were mentioned by the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and for which he himself yearned.

The Guidelines On Addressing Christmas

The Christian people, the practitioners of Christmas in truth are rebelling against God & violating the contents of Bible/Gospel/Injeel. The fact that “Christmas” is not mentioned in the Bible shows that Christmas is a made-up thing, disloyalty to God (Deuteronomy 4:2 , 12:32). Christmas is only a human dictation, not a command of God, involving vain deeds (Matthew 15:8-9). What's certain, Christmas is not the will of the Father so the perpetrators do not enter Heaven ( Matthew 7:21).

Despite rebelling against God & violating the Bible, Christmas still goes ahead… in the course of the Christianization mission, the Christians are striving so that Muslims are joining them in the Christmas celebration. The campaign and misguided ideology of Pluralism adds to the widening of the expressway of the Christian mission against the people of Islam.

How should the Mu'min behave?

“That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.” (31:30)

“… So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.” (5:44)

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NOTABLE FIGURES

Almost all Muslim officials from the President, the Ministers including the Minister of religious affairs, to the head of RT (neighbourhood /village chief) attend the Christmas celebration & greet “Happy Christmas”. There are Muslim figures, kyai's & leaders of Islam organizations who shamelessly are involved in Christmas. Supposing the majority of Muslims are already poisoned by the astray ideas of Pluralism, that they, in their multitude, take part in enlivening Christmas, indeed all those DO NOT CHANGE IN THE LEAST THE HARAM STATUS of Christmas, the verses of Al-Qur’an & Sunnah of Rasul indirectly still forbid it.

RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE, NOT A HODGEPODGE OF RELIGION

“O disbelievers,….For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.” (QS Al Kaafiruun (109) : 1-6)

· Christmas is an ibaadah (act of worship), celebration & shi'ar (symbol) of Christianity. Let them carry it out themselves. Don't bother them but also do not be involved in it in any way.

· The deliberateness of the Christians in involving Muslims in Christmas means striking the drums of war, as it is considered harassing and violating the Islamic creed (aqeedah), not respecting the Fatwa of the Ulama's about the haram ruling of Muslims in being jointly involved in Christmas, bringing up the attitudes of the pro and cons among Muslims with regards to Christmas which could disunite the Islamic ummah. It is just natural when true Mu'mins reacted to defend the aqeedah of the ummah.

ANYTHING OUTSIDE of ISLAM is the SATAN”S MOVES, DO NOT FOLLOW!

“O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.” (QS Al-Baqarah : 208)

“Whoever does good deeds that do not have any basis from us, then it is rejected.” (HR. Muslim)

Christmas is the culture of Christianity , not Islam, so it belongs in the category of Satan's moves = the moves of the enemies that must be shunned.

Christmas is not the directive of Rasul, so it is rejected.

BEING INVOLVED in Christmas COULD CAUSE DETACHMENT FROM GOD'S HELP

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you unless you follow their form of religion (millah). Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Were you to follow their desires after the knowledge which has reached you, then would you find neither Protector nor helper against Allah.” (QS Al-Baqarah : 120)

Being involved in Christmas means following their millah and their desires, causing Allah to leave us away, never wanting to help and protect us.

Christmas = MUSHRIK, THE BIGGEST SIN

The greeting of “Happy Christmas” means we are ridho (pleased), happy, acknowledging, supporting, appreciating the belief of Christianity that Jesus is God. Then, the offender falls into the biggest sin of Shirk, with the risk of prohibition from Paradise and a guarantee for the Hell of Jahanam. Do we want it? Obtaining the sympathy from the Kuffaar but are accursed by Allah, do we want it?

BEWARE! WE ARE TO BE ASKED FOR ACCOUNTABILITY BY ALLAH : “And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.” (Qs Al-Israa (17) : 36)

It's crystal clear, Christmas is not an instruction/guideline from Allah and His Rasul. Are we determined to get involved in Christmas? Allah Almighty would definitely ask for accountability later.

THE MU'MIN SHOULD NOT BE IN LOVING-KINDNESS WITH THE OPPOSERS OF ALLAH : “You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the hizbullah (party of Allah). Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.” (QS Al Mujaadillah (58) : 22)

Being involved in Christmas is the manifestation of affection for the Kuffaar, the opposers of Allah & His Rasul, whereas life, rizq & all enjoyments are from Allah, we also want the Paradise of Allah.

DO NOT IMITATE THE KUFFAAR

“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (HR.Abu Daud)

Christmas is a culture of the Christians, the Kuffaar. Muslims who take part in Christmas celebration means resembling them, thus belonging to the Kuffaar too.

THE FATWA OF MUI (MAJELIS ULAMA' OF INDONESIA) ABOUT THE HARAM RULING ON CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS (Jakarta, 1 Jumadil Awal 1401 H/7th March 1981)

· Taking part in the ceremony of Christmas for Muslims is Haram.

· In order for Muslims to not fall prey to shubhat and slip into the prohibitions of Allah SWT, it is adviseed that they do not participate in any Christmas activity.

From Al-Qaeda To All

Al-Qaeda as the biggest jihad movement and the fastest in terms of the growth of its cadres all over the world, has astounded the Western world, as well as the Eastern. The pros and cons that coloured their journey, are answered with real deeds and results that could be deemed as impressive, in the goal to restore the glory of the Islamic ummah, which has long suffered an apparent brain dead.

In defending the oppressed ummah, Al-Qaeda is not selective, the most noticeable example is the call of one of Al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen, Sheikh Nasser Al-Wahaysi who commanded the dispatch of a battalion of Al-Qaeda fighters, to combat the rebel Houthi Shiite who have attacked the headquarters of the Salafy Group in Dammaj.

Whereas, the Salafy Group are the hardcore opponents, and they label the fighters of Al-Qaeda as Khawarij and other names not suitable to be uttered against a brother. However, for Al-Qaeda it is not something that would stop them from helping their oppressed brothers, though hostile to their cause. It is this outlook that shows the maturity in struggling, and manhood sees the reality that Al-Qaeda exists not to defend a group, or to raise high the banner of a group, but they are purely conducting jihad to make the kalimah of Allah supreme.

In fact, even in the process of the revolution in the Middle-East, Al-Qaeda pretty much have a share in overthrowing the ruling regimes. Releases of supports from Al-Qaeda leaders for the revolution in Egypt, Syria and Libya, were widely distributed in the media read by millions of people around the world, in fact the elements of Al-Qaeda were also present in the thick of battle to topple down the regimes of the Arab dictators.

A clear example is the ousting of dictator Gaddafi which was supported by Abu Yahya al-Libi, this amir of A-Qaeda in Libya had been urging the Muslims in his country to overthrow the regime of Muammar Gaddafi and establish an Islamic government, the UmmaNews reported quoting the Associated Press (15/3/2011).

Depiction Of Al-Qaeda's Jihad

The Jihad and struggle for the liberation of the ummah done by Al-Qaeda today, was as described by Ash-Shaheed Sayyid Qutb in his very phenomenal work, Tafseer Fi Dzilali al-Qur’an. Sayyid Qutb said: “None of them said, when asked why they fought: “We went out to defend our country from the threat of the enemy!” or “We went out to drive out our Persian and Roman enemies” or “We went out to expand our territory and obtain a lot of spoils.”

They said, “Allah sent us so that we eject the people whom He wants from the servitude of slaves to the servitude to Allah alone. From the narrowness of the dunya toward His spaciousness. From the injustices of other religions, toward the justice of the religion of Islam. Thus He has sent His Messenger with a religion for His creatures. Whosoever welcome us, we would receive them well, we would leave them alone, we would never disturb their land. Whosoever oppose us, we would kill until we are martyred and enter the paradise or we would achieve a dazzling victory.”

If they are truly conducting jihad to raise high the kalimah of Allah, it's just proper that the people of understanding rise up and defend the honor of the Muslims and unite with the Thaifah Al-Mansurah in establishing the Dien of which none is higher than it.

“Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.” ( QS Al-Hajj 39 )

It Is Haram To Celebrate Christmas & New Year

Allah SWT has honored this ummah with Islam, and commanded them to implement it. He has sent down Islam as a unique way of life. A pattern that is different in the matter of its concept and rules, as a system that is perfect and comprehensive that manages all affairs of life. Allah SWT says:

“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah…” (QS Ali Imran 3 : 110)

However, since Islam was neglected from the everyday life as a regulatory system, the ummah have been practicing ugly things; the rules of the Kuffaar have been implemented upon this ummah and the concepts of kufr have dominated them. The Western invasion with its foul and abject culture has been successful in marring the dien of Islam and the morals of the ummah, making them have no value. The Western slogans have been adopted by Muslims through the celebrations and festivals of the West. This defective Western culture has been aided by the rulers who devote themselves to separate Islam from life, and carry out the ideological war and plant their ugly concepts, and then force the people to embrace what the West had always wanted, i.e. individuals who are secular.

One of the many cultural concepts imposed by the West upon the Muslims is the celebration of Christmas and new year. We ask Allah SWT to not allow ourselves see one day where the Muslims celebrate the Passover of the Jews (Jewish holidays) and also do celebration of Christmas.

This is really sad and very ironic to see with our own eyes the scenes and heard the news about the massacres, banishments and humiliation of Muslims on Christmas day at the hands of the West, the enemies of Islam all over the world, while some Muslims in this country (Indonesia – ed.) are invited by the Americans and other Christians into their homes to celebrate Christmas and new year. Of course, this should not happen as a shock to us since this ummah has lost their guardian who exercised his affairs with Islam, protected it from the onslaught of the kufr concepts, implemented the rules of his dien and observed them as the commandments of Allah SWT, a special ummah.

O Muslims! It (the Christmas and new year greetings and celebration) is something prohibited by Shari'ah, to take part in the celebrations of the Kuffaar, and to take them as examples in matters of dien (religion). Al-Bukhari narrated from his saheeh through Abu Sa’id Al Khudri RA that Rasulullah SAW said:

“You shall follow the practices of those before you, inch by inch and mile by mile, to the degree that if they enter into the hole of a lizard, you will follow them.” He was asked: “O messenger of Allah, are they the Jews and Christians?” He replied: “Who else?”

In this Hadith, Rasulullah scoffed the people who imitate the Kuffaar, and it is a hujjah (daleel/shar’ie rationale) that celebrating Christmas and new year is haram (repulsive), even only to join them in the Christmas celebration or their other ceremonials. It is also clear that joining in the ceremonial celebration of the Kuffaar means imitating them and Islam rejects it. Rasulullah SAW had warned us to reject it. At-Tirmidzi narrated from Ibnu Umar that Rasulullah SAW said:

“Not from us (Muslims) those who imitate a people, do not imitate the Jews and Christians.”

At-Tabrani narrated from Ibnu Umar and Hudaifah that Rasulullah SAW said:

“Whoever imitates a people is but one of them.”

It is also a part of Shari'ah text that it (celebrating Christmas and new year) is repulsive for Muslims who have had their own feast days, namely the ’Eidul Fitri dan ’Eidul Adha. Al-Baihaqi narrated from his ‘Sunan’ from Anas Bin Malik who said:

“Rasulullah SAW arrived in Madinah at the time when the people of Madinah had two-days in the time of jahiliah (pre-Islam) which they celebrated, then he SAW said: 'I come to you when you have 2 days from the time of jahiliah that you celebrate, and Allah SWT has replaced these two days with two better days: the feast day of Qurban and Fitri.'”

Imam Ahmad narrated from ‘Uqbah Ibnu Amir that Rasulullah SAW said:

“And we have the day of Fitri, the day of Qurban and the day of Tashriq as the big days of ours, the Muslims.”

These texts are presented as a clear hujjah that its is abhorrent for the Muslims to have a celebration apart from what Allah SWT has ordained. Next, it is abhorrent for them (the Muslims) to take part in the celebrations of the Kuffaar, such as being present in their ceremony, it is something abhorrent for example to attend their celebrations, even if they invite. Such way of their ceremony could lead one to harms and their indulgence would be an opportunity for the fasiq people to do the activity of sin, such as consuming alcohol and other haram things. The available mass media are inclined towards these events to air disgusting programs and all kinds of immodesty and depravity. They pollute the minds of people and erode all kinds of good morals, dignity and their purity.

O Muslims! The ummah will continually be pressured under the concepts of the Kuffaar and will continue to be dominated. The mentality of the Muslims will continue to be shaped according to the point of view of the Western people, unless we start throwing out all the Western understandings that are present in ourselves and struggle to establish the Khilafah Rashidah, which will implement the book of Allah SWT and the sunnah of His Rasul SAW, and will overthrow the injustices, tyrannic rulers and depravity that appeared on the Muslims, which later will result in the Kuffaar losing their strength and identity.

Former Puppet Army Commanders Defected To Mujahideen

AFGHANISTAN – Many from amongst the puppet officers and soldiers decided to join the Mujahideen of Islam Emirate.

It was reported that two former Commanders of the puppet army joined the Mujahideen in Paktia province on Monday(12/12/2011).

Two of the leading active Commanders, Abdul Hai and Bakht Baran Bawari, joined the Mujahideen, they said they have defected and joined the Mujahideen because they have learned the truth about the so-called “war on terror” and because eventually they realized that it is the occupation by the international invaders that have killed the innocents.

The two former puppet army commanders said that they would invite others to also join the Mujahideen for the sacred goal and establishment of truth.

The Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan received well both of the former Commanders and really appreciated their efforts in this regard.
