One of the most interesting betting lines in college football is the under/over for win totals. For example, Alabama's opening line is 10.5 wins. If a gambler thinks Alabama will win 11 games, they would take the "over". Notre Dame's opening line is 8 wins. Will they be the "under" or the "over"? Looking at Notre Dame's schedule there appears to be three types of games: "should wins", "could

Strengths Fuller has elite ball-skills. He appears to come down with any jump ball thrown near him. In addition to his excellent hands, Fuller seems to have above average speed for a receiver. He is the type of player that catches a 4-yard hitch and turns it into a 40-yard gain. In the open field, he is shifty and quick. It would appear on film that he has all the tools needed to be a quality

Nick asks: @ISNBlog who is the number one wideout going into camp? Who do you think will be the starter after? Currently, T.J. Jones is the top returning Wide Receiver with 38 catches for 366 yards. This number pales in comparison to Michael Floyd's 100 receptions and 1,102 yards. However, two players return with higher yardage outputs. All-American Tight End Tyler Eifert had 63 receptions and

Notre Dame kicked off practice at 10 a.m. at the LaBar Practice Field for the 2012 season. The first question for Fighting Irish Football fans is, "What's going on with the Quarterback situation?" On the first day, according to several media outlets and online videos that are available, Golson ran with the first group. Does this mean that Everett is currently the front-runner for the position?

Generally speaking, one day before Notre Dame kicks off fall camp, Irish fans are wondering why Notre Dame has less than ten in commitments. But, with 18 recruits already on board, Notre Dame fans might start talking about how bored they are with recruiting. Notre Dame will most likely close out with 5 to 7 more recruits. Here is an update on where they stand with some of their remaining targets.

He has good vision and balance and picks his holes wisely. He plays against tough competition and while you would not describe his running style as speedy he is quick in the hole, and that combined

As stated before on Irish Sports News, Rees pleaded guilty to the charges. This likely means that Rees will not be suspended by the Notre Dame administration or the football team. This article reeked hunting for some publicity by Urban Meyer. Did he really offer LeBron James a scholarship at Notre Dame? But, how amazing would LeBron have been as a Tight End in a Notre Dame uniform? From CBSSports.com: As we all

Tommy Rees Tommy Rees is under the most intense amount of scrutiny heading into the 2012 season. Yes, it is because of his immobility and his termed "spaghetti" arm, but also due to the his pending legal issues with St. Joseph's county in the State of Indiana. These issues were related to an incident in which the Irish signal caller was unable to scramble away from another defender, the police.

Recently, Irish Sports News recently brought to the attention of its readers the likelihood that Notre Dame would join the Big 12 and the advantages (disadvantages that would bring). Now, another Rivals.com outline is again reporting Notre Dame to a conference. However, it is not to the Big 12. Here are the odds for four commits who might pull the trigger for Notre Dame by the end of the month: Khalfani Muhammad Muhammad just landed an offer from Notre Dame. As first posted on Orangebloods.com, sources within the Big 12 have reported that Notre Dame's Olympic programs would likely be headed to the Big 12. In the opinion of Irish Sports News, this is a savvy business deal that would help Notre Dame's athletic programs expand and would maintain the current independence of the Fighting Irish football team. However, this is an interesting move

Les Miles has repeatedly criticized Gunner Kiel for choosing to head to South Bend instead of Baton Rouge. He first did on Signing Day and then later at a Pep Rally. He clearly holds a grudge. This is a very unique situation. After seeing many players leave Notre Dame's recruiting classes at the 11th, this is a ridiculous way of handling it. Strengths Onwualu is extremely elusive and is difficult to bring down in the open field. After the arrest of Michael Floyd in 2011 and Tommy Rees, Carlo Calabrese and DaVaris Daniels in 2012, it begs to question whether Notre Dame is what we think it is.
