Favorite "Pretty Little Liars" Look of The Week: Spencer Hastings

I'll be honest, a reason why I watch t.v is to look at the fashion and gain inspirations. One of my favorite shows to watch is ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars". With mysterious plot lines, twists, hot guys, and amazing fashion. What is there not to like? Each week the show amazes me with their plot lines and the characters wardrobe.

On the latest episode of "Pretty Little Liars" my favorite look of the week had to go to the prep of the group Spencer Hasting who was seen rocking a ivory blouse with bows and pleated details on the front. Tucked in to a lace skirt with black lining, and finished off with riding boots.

Her outfit for the episode represents her style of classic feminine prep perfectly. Spencer Hastings is quickly becoming my favorite best dressed character of the group. I still love Hanna's trendy style and Aria's unique edgy style, but recently I have been loving Spencer.

The original shirt worn on the show is made by iconic designer Diane Von Furstenberg, which makes it ridiculous out of price for most of us. So I found this blouse by Lauren Conrad with similar bows and pleated details for a reasonable price.

I do not know where the original skirt was from and the one I had originally picked out from ModCloth is sold out. But I found a similar one from Forever 21 with scalloped details that would work just as well.

It was a tough year for me in 2012. I would not even know how to begin to explain it all. Each time I would begin to feel like things would be okay life would throw me another curve ball. Which can come as the reason why I have been M.I.A from my blog. Among the things that happen to me this year some were that I lost a best friend emotionally and things have not been the same. We have not even spoken in months. I cannot even tell her things I once was easily able to. Precious items were stolen from my home that meant the world to my mother. Things that she could never replace because of their sentimental values. I opened my eyes and realized the true character of people that are very important to my life. I also realized that "Jealousy Speaks" and when it does it is not pretty. We like to think that when we are happy and have exciting things happen to us that our loved ones will be just as happy with us just like we are happy for them. But that is not always the case. We cannot hide our emotions from others no matter how much we try. If we pay close attention we may notice those little ticks of their that reveal their real emotions like moving fingers, a rolling eye, the turn of their head, or a twist of their mouth. So many things I have had to keep hiding from those but only those who truly cared and know me like my family and best friends knew what was going on and were there for me when I needed them. And for that I am grateful.

So far this year has not been that great either. But hey that is life. How else are we suppose to learn from it and get thicker skin. Everyone goes thru hard times and I just happened to be going thru mine. I know I will be okay and I will remain positive that this year will be better than the last. Which is why I have decided that this year I will be happy again. This year I will focus on my own happiness and my own self growth. No longer will surround myself by negativity and situations that cause me stress. After what happened to my family earlier this month I realized what are the things that truly matter and what things are unnecessary.

I have great things ahead for me this year, Next Tuesday I will begin my Fashion courses and I could not be more excited about it. Perhaps this is just what I need to truly be happy again.

New Modern Classics: Leather Jacket

When I first started my blog I wrote a post about the Wardrobe Essentials Every Girl Should Have and later on as a part of my Style Series I wrote another piece about how to achieve a classic style using just about the same essentials. Now I still swear on those basic pieces but I also believe that there are new modern pieces that I believe have earned a spot on every girls closet.

One of those pieces has to be a leather jacket. This is not by any means considered as new. This fashion forward jacket has been used since the 1940's. Mostly by men at the time, but slowly and surely this hot item became wearable for both members of the opposite sex. In recent times this jacket is no longer reserved for bad girls and and rock-stars. Now anyone can wear them in any style that there heart and personal style desires.

What makes a leather jacket a new modern classic? Well take a look around you. Leather jackets are everywhere now in days. They now come in a variety of different cuts, colors, and in some cases even embellishments. We also have the choice to choose between real leather or faux leather, which is what I prefer.

Adding a leather jacket to any outfit instantly takes the outfit to another level. It completes a edgy outfit, or it can toughen up a otherwise sweet outfit like a floral dress. At times it even turns a simple; slight boring outfit into something extra nice. All in all a leather jacket adds a instant chic factor to your personal style.

Hot Beauty Look: Hot Pink Lips

Brighten up those cold gloomy winter days by adding a pop of color to not only your wardrobe but to your daily makeup routine as well. Much to my mothers dismay I love wearing hot pink lips during the weekend with a cool cat eyeliner style. Which in my opinion gives a very retro modern look.

My favorite hot pink lipstick has to be by E.L.F Essentials Lipstick in Flirtatious. But there are plenty of shades and brands out there, that you will bound to find the perfect shade. The trick to pulling off a hot pink lip is to keep the rest of your makeup understated. I usually achieve this by just using foundation (to cover my imperfections), eyeliner, and mascara.

My steps to creating a daring Hot Pink Lip:

Dab chap-stick all over your lips and scrub it with a clean mascara wand to take off any flaky skin. F.Y.I You can get clean mascara wands at Sephora.
Apply your lip stick as desired.
Pat your lips down a tissue paper.
Apply translucent powder on your lips and pat again with a tissue.
Re-apply another layer of Lipstick.\
Finish off with some clear gloss.

So go on ahead and change up the ever classic red lip for the trendy hot pink lip. Different color, same daring look. And I promise you will turn heads wherever you go.

Fashion Inspiration: The Fairest Of Them All (Snow White)

My Outfit of the Day 11/16/12: Traveling

This weekend I will be taking a weekend trip with my family to Las Vegas. Even though I will stuck in a car for 5 hours I still wanted to look cute and comfortable at the same time. So as for my outfit I wore dark blue jeans cuffed at the bottom, my white/black stripe top, with my blue oxford button shirt over it unbutton. I finished the outfit with my Leopold flats, and did my hair in a messy side braid with a red bow at the bottom. Since it will be a long car ride I brought along my Lauren Conrad Beauty and Style book along to read on the way and a nice cup of hot Starbucks!

Outfit of the Day: Going to the Movies

Hello is anyone still there? I hope so. I know it has been a long time since I have written on here. I was not feeling myself because of a lot that has been going on in the past year. But now I am feeling ready and willing to get back to it again.

For my first post back I wanted to post a polyvore set based on what I wore to the movies today with my sister and her godson's who I consider as my nephews. I had a really great time and enjoyed the movie. As for my outfit I wore my cobalt blue skinny jeans, plum colored cami with my gray tee over it, topping it off with my black leather jacket. I finished the looks off by adding my purple/blue plaid scarf and my black patent leather flats. Not a lot of effort was put into the outfit as other times, but it was cute enough to make me feel good.

I hope some of my old followers are still here or at least I hope anyone reading this. It will take me a bit to get back into the hang of things but bear with me fellow fashionistas because I am getting there.

The Style Series: Classic

Welcome back for the third installment of "The Style Series". I know it has been a long time since I have written one these and what better time to begin writing these posts again than now. I was very excited to write this edition of "The Style Series" because although I tend to like different styles of clothing, in my mind my main style is a mix of girly, preppy, chic, and classic. To me the classic style is timeless and can never be boring because it can easily be re-invented time and time again.

Classic Style:

A classic style is all about sticking to preppy basics, using clean cut lines, and simple silhouettes. Despite the simplicity of this style, it is far from being boring. With accessories and good styling you can take this from plain to chic in a matter of minutes.

Classic Wardrobe Basics:

When trying to achieve a classic style you should stick to basic clothing pieces that will never go out of fashion but always will look modern. Jeans to any closet is a obvious choice, you can dress them up or down. I love my straight leg and bootcut jean so chose your favorite cut of jeans and stock up on different colors. Another obvious and basic essential are plain tees in your favorite cuts and many different colors. The ways to style plain tees are endless and easy to layer and can bring and outfit together. The little black dress is really something every girl should have, you can wear it casually and formally. To sum it all up just about every piece on this list is very versatile and can be easily interpreted into your own style.

Accessorizing is always the best way to change things up in a outfit and make it truly your own.

For your eyes go for brown and beige eyeshadow colors. Line your eyes with eyeliner if you like or skip the eyeliner and go straight for the mascara instead.
Dust a soft pretty blush like in a peach/pinkish tone on the apples of your cheeks for a nice subtle flush.
Complete the look with a classic lip in red. If you don't like red lips going for a pink lip or a nice lip gloss will go nice as well.

My Casual Foundation Routine . . .

Today I will be sharing with you my everyday foundation routine. I actually have two different foundation routines, one being my casual everyday routine where I use my Lush Colour Supplement foundation that I use for school and casual outings and my second routine being the one where I use Makeup Forever foundation that I use for special occasions. But for today I will sharing with you my casual everyday foundation routine. This will not include my eye makeup just my usual face routine including my blush because I consider it part of my foundation routine because I can't leave my house without a little blush on.

Products Used:

Moisturizer: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Primer : L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
Concealer: Benefit's Some Kind-A Gorgeous
Foundation: LUSH Colour Supplement in Dark Yellow
Powder: Clinique Perfectly Real Compact Makeup in Shade 130(N)
Blush: E.L.F Studio Blush in Peachy Keen

Brushes Used:

Stipple Brush: Sonia Kashuk
Concealer Brush: E.L.F Studio Brush Line
Powder Brush: E.L.F Studio Brush Line
Blush Brush: E.L.F Studio Brush Line

Steps:

Before I begin to add anything to my face I prep it my adding moisturizer to different parts of my face.

2. After I let my moisturizer set in I go on and apply my primer in the same way I applied my moisturizer.

3. After applying my primer I move to the next step which is putting on my concealer. I use a concealer brush and apply it under my eyes, and anywhere where I had blemishes.

4. Following my concealer application I finally begin applying my foundation. I apply it using a stippling brush because in my opinion I think it gives you a much better finish than with a sponge, fingers, or foundation brush.

* To apply foundation with a stippling brush just dip the tip of your brush in the foundation you use. Then you dot the brush all over your face, and blend it in small circular motions.

5. After blending in my foundation I buff it over using my powder brush to make sure there are no streaks on my face because one downside of using a stipple brush is that they can leave streak marks. Once I do that and make sure there are no streaks on my face I powder my t-zone to set in the foundation.

6. For my last step I grab my blush of the day and blush brush and apply it on the apple of my cheeks in a C motion (From my cheeks to up my temples)

Review: Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous Foundation

A few months ago I purchased "Benefit's Tan About Town" which included a small sample size pot of Benefit's Some Kind-A Gorgeous Foundation. Being a foundation junkie I was very excited to try this out and see if it would work for me.

About the Product:

A sheer, oil-free, cream-to-powder complexion perfecter. This lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product smooths out imperfections and evens skin tone with a silky, smooth finish that's super natural and super gorgeous.

Pros and Cons:

Like all products do- this one also has it's pros and cons.

Pros:

Cute Packaging.
Moderate Coverage
Buildable

Cons:

Too sheer.
Limited shade options.
Greasy

My Opinion:

Now I will be honest, I was dissapointed with this product. Despite being "oil-free" I found this product to be a bit greasy. It does not clog up my my pores which is good, but I still didn't appreciate the greasy-ness to it. This product is suppose to be a cream to powder foundation but I do not see it, to me it is a creme foundation all the way. Also I thought this was way to sheer for me to be used as a foundation alone. However it is very buildable and even though it does not work me as a foundation I have actually been using this as a concealer under my eyes. It may sound weird because that is not it's original purpose but it works for me that way. I do not think I will be purchasing this in it's full size but I will be taking advantage of the pot that I currently own.

Quick Easy Hairstyles . . .

It happens to us all, we wake up late for school or work, we did not wash our hair the night before, we ran out of time while getting ready so now we need to rush out the door, or we are just lazy to spend a lot of time on our hair. I personally do not have the patience to do my hair, and quite frankly I am bad at it! Luckily I have straight low maintenance hair. Sure I still curl my hair every now and then on those days when I want to look extra special (a process that takes me a night's sleep to achieve, yes I sleep with soft rollers) Luckily for all of us, there are quick and easy hairstyles out there that wont take to much of our time and still makes look great.

Things you will need to create most of these hairstyles:

Brush
Bobby Pins (U shaped ones are best for bun hairstyles)
Elastic Bands
Headbands
Hairspray

1. Sleek Ponytail

This is probably my go-to hairstyle when I am in a hurry or lazy to do anything more to it. What better way to show your pretty face than with with this sleek style. Not only only will this style show off your amazing face but it can also draw attention to statement earrings. This is also the perfect style to do on second day hair. To take it up a notch- try wrapping around a strand taken from the pony and wrap it around the elastic and hold it with a bobby pin. You also take a piece of ribbon and tie it around the elastic in a bow.

2. Messy Top Bun

This is probably the easiest and quickest one to do. You can easily roll out of bed, grab your hair into a ponytail, twist it all around and pin it with bobby pins. To add a bit of glamour into it, try wearing a skinny headband 1inch away from your hairline or add a flower clip to the side of your hair beside the bun (this is my favorite way of doing it)

3. Headband:

Ahhh the headband! My first fashion love. Ever since I was baby I have been using headbands and bows (which is why you see a lot of both ideas on this blog) and I honestly never get tired of them, I have a dozen of them!. This is also a good hairstyle option on any day. I like to part my hair to the side and slip in a headband with embellishment or a pattern on it.

4. Goddess Braid:

This also one of my favorite go-to hairstyles. Part your hair to the side, grab one inch of hair from one side (I do it on my right), braid it down as close to your scalp as you can (especially the beginning), pin it to the side and Voila! Another way that you can use the goddess braid is you can part your hair in the middle, grab one inch of hair from the side of your head (like around where the temples of your head is at) braid it, pin it to the side with bobby pins, repeat to the other side (make sure they are even and the same amount of hair) and add hair spray. I think braid hairstyles are very popular this season, so definitely take these into consideration this summer .

5. Twist and Pinned To The Side:

Another quick hairstyle is too part your hair in the middle, grab one inch of hair, twist it, and pin it to the side, repeat on the other side. You can also just part it to the side, and twist and pin to one side of hair. It is up to you, you will still look cute.

6. Ballerina Bun:

This hairstyle is a mix of a ballerina/top bun, it isn't perfect, but it isn't messy either. To achieve this look grab your hair into a ponytail at the crown of your head, tease up the pony a bit with a comb, twist and twist the pony around the elastic, pin it with bobby pins, and finally add hairspray. For a classic girly touch I like to tie a ribbon around the bun and tie it in a bow (very similar to what I like to do with my ponytails)

7. Hat

I am not usually a big fan of hats (unless they are cute) since I generally do like my hair and I do not want to cover it up. I tend to drift towards my knitted beanies and my black sequin bow beret. on those days where I am feeling a bit lazy or I feel like I am having a bad hair day, and those are the days where I like to cover up my hair. The best way to wear these is too gather up your hair in a low bun, if you have bangs or front layers leave them out, put your hat over your bun, and pin the sides to secure it. Another option you can use is to put your hair to the front, put on the beanie 1 inch away from your hairline, and secure it with bobby pins. This look really will look good on everybody, no matter what hair type you have.

Trend To Try: Mismatched Earrings . . .

Yes fellow readers you have read right, Mismatched Earrings! You may or may not of heard of this; but recently there has been a trend slowly rising in where you wear a set of Mismatched Earrings, where although they may not me identical but they do share a common theme. I first discovered this trend while looking at Betsey Johnson jewelry online, and immediately I thought to myself "OMG I want to try this!!" Now I have not been able to act on my desire to try Mismatched Earrings since I have been real busy with school work but now that I am on summer vacation and have all the time in the world I am so ready to try this out! The best part is that you can even try this trend with earrings that you own already (just as long that they share a common theme) Or you can buy two sets of earring, switch out one earring and give the other Mismatched pair to your bestie! I predict this will be a huge trend within this year.

How To Wear Neon . . .

Hello again Baby Dolls! Out of all the spring/summer trends out there the most popular one definitely has to be Neon Colors. After spending fall and winter in dark and neutral colors it was time to brighten things up. And what better way to do so than with neon colors. But as trendy as these colors may be the idea of wearing something bright can be pretty frightening for some people. Below I have written a few guidelines on how to wear the neon trend.

Beginners

If you like the neon trend but are scared of using neon because you are afraid, you can still try this trend out without going out of your comfort zone.

Accessorize: The easiest way to test out a new trend you are not so sure about is to try out with accessories. So do not be afraid to stack on bracelets, rock some bright shoes, or to add a neon purse to your outfit.
Start Out Small: You do not have to jump into a trend if you are not ready. Add Neon pieces little by little.
Test Drive On Your Days "Off": I always feel more comfortable trying trends out during the weekends or when I know I wont be seen. I highly suggest trying this little tip yourself. It really does work!

Intermediate

Now if you are feeling a bit more daring and are ready to push the limits without going overboard you can still take it to the next level without crossing the line.

Make Neon Piece Your Key Piece: Choose a neon clothing item to be your key piece in your outfit. You can choose pants, skirts, shorts, or a top.
Keep The Rest Of The Outfit Minimal: After choosing your main neon color piece, pair with a neutral color like white,black,blue, or grey.
Add A Few Neon Accessories: Chances are that you probably still have some reservation to wearing a lot of neon at once, but brave enough to add more neon pieces to your outfit. So do not be afraid to add one or two neon accessories.

Experienced

You have tested the neon trend color and feel comfortable taking it to the next level to full blown fashion dare devil. You can still manage to look fashion forward without looking like if you stepped out of the 80's.

Color Block: Color Blocking is a great way too incorporate different colors together.
Choose Colors That Combine Well Together: Speaking of incorporating different colors together, make sure that you choose colors that combine well together.
Keep Jewelry To A Minimum: Because there is already a lot going on in the outfit with the bright colors, you should try to keep jewelry to a minimum. But if you must have some type of jewelry like me, try to wear dainty jewelry or one strong piece like the cute octopus ring I choose for the set above.

I Went Shopping: LC Lauren Conrad Mini-Haul

Let me just start this post by saying that I love Lauren Conrad!! Seriously, this girl is my fashion soul mate. No other person has inspired me with my style as much as she has. So it is a surprise that I had not bought anything from her more affordable clothing line at Kohl's. After years and years of drooling over her line each season I finally took the plunge and made my first purchase from her LC Lauren Conrad line, and I cannot be happier!

The first item I purchased from her line is this chiffon peplum vest in a dusty rose color. The princess seam makes it very flattering on my body, and very easy to layer. I love it so much that I wore it the very next day with jeans, white v-neck, leopard flats, gold sparkly bangles, and a long gold leaf necklace. I do wish it has a button or clip to close it with but it is okay, I can easily sew on a button on myself. I can't wait to find more outfit ideas!

The other thing I purchased from her line is this gold-tone starfish pendant necklace with green beaded details, and simulated pearls. I am a Pisces so naturally I am attracted to the ocean and things related to it, which explains why I felt my heart stop when I saw this. I still have not had the chance to wear this but I am sure it will be soon since the starfish pendent makes it perfect to use in the summer.

Doesn't my city look wonderful at night . . .

Hello Ladies! It has been a long time since I have written a real post here on my blog. I want to apologize for pretty much disappearing from my blog and twitter. The reason why I have been MIA is because I have not been feeling like myself, and I felt like I had no motivation. Many times I have tried to come up with something to write but my mind would just come up to a blank. Perhaps I was just feeling stressed with family and school that my mind had not been in a good mind set to write about the things that I love. I still feel like my I'm not completely here, but I figured if I began writing again then I will be back to my normal state of mind. Starting next week I will begin to put more makeup, beauty, and fashion post, hopefully that will help me get back to where I used to be. Until then let me just let you guys now what I have been doing for the past month . . .

"Doctor Who": I am currently obsessed with "Doctor Who"! It is safe to say that I am now a Whovian. David Tennant is by far my favorite doctor *sigh*

Revlon Lip Butter Lipstick in "Strawberry Shortcake": This is currently my favorite lipstick. I just love the pink color on my lips, I seem to wear it every time I go out. I can't get enough.

I am not allergic to "Makeup Forever HD Foundation": I'm always on the search for a good foundation that will cover all my acne scars, because I heard great things about this foundation I decided to give it a try. But because i have sensitive skin I need a sample to see if I would break out. I used twice and broke out both times, I was dissapointed but then my mom said maybe it was stress and should wait till I'm more calm. Well I tried it a third time and it turns out I did not break out, which means it really was my stress making me break out. It is safe to say I will be buying a full size bottle with the birthday money my brother gave me.
My 22nd Birthday: One March 3rd I turned 22, and it was a great birthday surrounded with the people I love. On the day before my birthday my best friends blindfolded me and took me to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Hollywood,California- where I mingled with very important and famous celebrities. After the museum they took me back to my best friends house where they had the most beautiful peacock theme dinner party. The table setup and decorations where just amazing!! There were feathers hanging from the ceiling that looked like they were floating in the air, candles on the tables, and a beautiful peacock feather centerpiece. My best friend made the most delicious chicken breast stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach with marinara sauce on top of it, and mashed potatoes. My other best friend made a bunch of small cakes decorated it fondant in blue, green, and purple with a peacock feather made out of fondant on top of them, and a peacock cupcake just for me that was too pretty to eat- but I could not resist! They also gave me great presents! I can't wait till my new room is up to put everything they gave me on display. On the day of my actual birthday, I had a Italian meal (Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread) with my family and one of my best friends. We had this delicious Raspberry Mousse Chocolate Cake that was to die for! My parents gave me a new Laura Signature Tote Bag from Coach that I can use for school, my sister gave me a Betsey Johnson necklace, my brother gave me $50 gift card and a Betsey Johnson jewelry set, and my grandmother gave me hair accessories. It was also my brothers birthday ( he turned 33) so I gave a team jersey from his favorite baseball team. It was a great birthday.

I have been doing for reading than usual: I love reading, reading is my escape from reality and calms me down. So it is no surprise I have been reading more than usual to keep me sane. I am currently reading "Embrace" by Jessica Shirvington.
My current favorite color combination is Coral and Mint: Two of my favorite colors combine give me a pretty spring/summer look.

Movie Fashion Inspiration: "Titanic" Rose Boarding Outfit

Hey Girls!! I know it has been a while since I posted on my blog. Tomorrow I will be posting a *Update* post to let those of you that still follow my blog; why I have been MIA. In the mean time I wanted to post a quick set I made on Polyvore inspired by one of my favorite movies.

"Titanic" is probably one of the best movie in history. I still remember going to go see the movie with my mother and grandmother (they covered my eyes during the steamy scenes) and thinking "I soooo don't want to see this movie!", who would of known I would come out of that movie theater loving the film! Even though I was 7 years old when this movie came out, I was still able to appreciate this amazing film and its breathtaking fashion. Since James Cameron has re-released the film in 3D for a limited times this year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the ship. I thought it be a nice idea to recreate one of Roses many amazing outfits. The outfit I chose is the first outfit we see young Rose (Kate Winslet) in, her boarding outfit. What a outfit it was! That hat sure made a serious statement! Don't you think? I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post and be sure to check back tomorrow for a real post!

One of my biggest insecurity has to be my skin. Don't get me wrong, I love my olive skin tone but thanks to genetics I suffer from big pores and thanks to my 13 year old self I was left with a few acne scars from my pre-teen years. Pros:

It cost $39.00 (Which is great compared to the Clarisonic that cost $100 and up )
It is pink and white (one of my favorite color combinations)

Cons:

Battery operated. (I would prefer for it to be a tool that I can charge)
It did not come with batteries.
Does not clean my pores as well as I would like.

My Opinion:
Overall I am pretty happy with the product. I feel my face soft and clean, like it really does clean the days dirt away. So it pretty much does a good job cleaning my face, which is the reason I bought it. However I still see that I have blackheads (I can't seem to get rid of them) and even though it is less than how I had them before I still wish it would of done a better job at getting rid of them. Maybe I just have to keep using it longer to see my blackheads completely gone. For being my first face cleaning tool I like it and would recommend it to other people that are in a budget like I was. I still hope in the future to buy the Clarisonic, but for now I am satisfied with my Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

Trend to Try: Flower Crown Headbands

For a while feathers in your hair were all the rage in fashion (and still is) but it seems like the new upcoming trend has to be using flower crown headbands in your hair.

I have seen flower crown headbands pop out in various fashion blogs and had found them super cute but had not seen them in stores yet. That was until 2 weeks ago when me and my friend stopped by the H&M in Las Vegas and she pointed out a flower crown headband to me, and I secretly got excited about it! Now I have been seeing them in fashion stores like Forever 21, giving me a chance to buy one to try out the trend. They give a woodland, romantic, whimsical, fairy tale vibe to me, that I just can't wait to buy one of my own.

Spring in the Afternoon . . .

Wow! I just realized how long it has been since I posted on my blog, time really flies by so quickly. Because I do not want you to think that I'm abandoning you girls I just wanted to do a quick post on a polyvore set I just created.

For this set I wanted to great a perfect spring outfit that you can wear to school, mall, hanging out, or for even a stroll on the park with your special someone. I used many spring elements like pastels, florals, and a day dress. I chose a light blue dress with hot pink flowers print and paired it with a blue H&M blazer; I love blazers (I am still on the search for the perfect one) and because during the spring it can still get chilly I wanted to put something over the dress that will warm you up and still look chic. As for shoes I chose these cute hot pink ballerina flats so your feet wont get tired as you walk; like heels do after a while. I completed the look with a matching hot pink clutch that is the perfect size to keep all the necessary items (I.D, money, cell, lip gloss, keys, etc.)

*Tip:* If you love a clutch but don't feel like carrying it in your hands all the time you can just grab a long necklace (the long layering kind), open the clutch and put half the necklace inside, close the clutch, and just like that you have made your clutch into a handbag.

Once again sorry for not posting anything sooner but with school, a Las Vegas trip, my upcoming birthday this Saturday and other things I had not realized so much time had passed since I posted. But starting next week I will get back on track with more interesting post for you all.

When they asked me what I would of liked I had no idea what to tell them since I really don't need anything. So while I was thinking of items I would like- I thought it be a good idea to post my birthday wish list just for fun.

I love this pallet! I tried it over a weekend stay with my cousin a year ago and I fell in love with it. Since it is a bit on the pricey side I cannot make myself buy it even though I could, but it would make a great birthday gift!

M.A.C Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick #2

Believe it or not I do not own any M.A.C products despite loving their bright eye shadows and their popularity among women. I love their first Viva Glam Gaga lipstick so much but because I am unsure how that would look on my skin tone (olive with beige undertones) I am thinking of buying myself the second Viva Glam Gaga lipstick which is great since I do not own any nude color lipstick.

Betsey Johnson Jewelry:

Ah Betsey Johnson, how I love thee! Her jewelry is so girly and quirky that I cant help but fall in love with them. Sadly, the only Betsey Johnson jewelry I own is a really pretty gold bow stretch ring. So receiving a Betsey Johnson jewelry would be really special.

Miss Dior Cherie

This scent is one of my favorites! Although I have never owned it I have always loved this perfume. Everything from the scent, the bottle, to the advertisements- draw me in. And it would be nice to finally have my own bottle.

I would also like to say sorry for not being very active on my blog lately but I have been a bit busy and have been dealing with something (if you follow me on twitter you might now what I'm talking about).
