Today for a change

I feel like right now I am ready for a change.- To grow into my own inspiration; so with that, I decided to move into a different direction. I will be leaving living as a life artist, the blog. Ali Edwards still inspires me with her kindness and her ideas. Thank you Ali. I am going to continue living as a life artist in a new location.

Today, I share with you a picture of my Baby Zane. Mind you Baby Zane had his birthday yesterday and he turned 9 years old. Earlier this month, I found him sitting on the couch with his toy on his arms. I did not pose him, this is the super model I walked in on. -Tipped toed over to the camera and hoped for the best. This was one of the pictures I took. Zane is one of my special kids. He is sweet, loving, quiet, and very patient. I learn a lot about life through him. I have a big smile on my face-- I am happy and blessed to have such a great kid in my life.

Today. Today I am finished with my home mini album. This was so much fun for me. I now look at things in my home differently. So now that I am finished...I feel a vlog showing the whole book with commentary coming real soon.

Today. This gives you a glimpse into my studio. Some of my earlier vlogs show you what my studio looks like. I like to listen to music when I scrap. I listen to music from Beatport Burners podcast. I like it because it has a beat and very few words in the songs. I kinda dance when I am creating sometimes. Being in my studio keeps me happy.

Today. All is well. I choose happiness now. This vinyl lettering was custom made for me a while ago. I ordered it and installed it. It is in my bathroom above a shelf I installed. It definitely brings peace to my mind when I read it.

Today. Today I am happy to say, I am almost finished with my home mini album. I have a few more photos to take and then I just need to paper the back cover. In seven days, I am planning having a vlog so please stayed tuned.

Today: Today I realize that sometimes I just don't know where the times goes or what I actually did with it. This is what my planner looked like this week. I saw it on the kitchen table and said to myself, "Well if I didn't write it down- I don't know what I did." What is another Monday anyway, really? I appreciate everyday equally, especially when I am on vacation. So I am posting what I did last week...I hope you enjoyed yourself this week. Goodness knows what I did. Have an amazing day.

Today. I am still working on my home mini album. The top page has a flower on it (now) I forgot to attach it before I took the photo. It goes right above the "m". I am loving the SEI papers I chose. Enjoy a mini peek inside my world.

Today. Today I have more cards to show you. I made alot of these cards. I looked around my scraproom for things I wasn't using and I found papers, some giant ric rac, and some old buttons. My favorite is that orange button you see in the thanks so much card. So funky & modern, I just had to use it. The stamped sayings are from Stampin' Up.

Today. I am getting into card making more and for most of my life I have handmade my own cards. I especially enjoy receiving handmade cards. A special personal touch, a thoughtful note inside, always brings a smile to my face when I see one for me.

Today. Today is a new day. This layout was inspired by the photos. I used a Page map guide..something I hadn't tried before and entered this layout on the Two Peas challenge board. Recycling is a current theme in my life ( and in the world) and I am realizing more and more how I can make a difference everyday in the little ways and choices I make. Recycling clothing is just one thing I can do.

Today, I affirm that I love myself therefore, I behave and think in a loving way to all people for I know that which I give out returns to me multiplied.. I only attract loving people in my world for they are a mirror of what I am. This is one of my affirmations. I think about this every time something happens to me that I don't prefer. I think what did I do to attract it. Could I have been nicer in this situation/another situation? Could I have made a different choice. Things I think about. Have a wonderful Day.

Today I choose to be free. I open my heart and choose to be happy. If you choose: Open your heart and be happy. I used to say "Why would anyone choose to be unhappy?" whenever I got upset or felt down. Go with today's flow and know it helps not only yourself, but also helps those around you. Ever just have one of those days? What would happen if you reached out into the middle of it and relaxed, took a deep breath, called a friend --the one that will remind you that it is okay. Release into the moment and bless yourself. Today you are blessed with freedom, feel it. In honor of Independence in the United States, I did a red, white, and blue layout. Mind you it is more like a red and a tint of red, an off white, and a blue-green layout. Enjoy.

Today I choose to relax and focus on projects at home. Cleaning, Organizing, and maybe taking more pictures for my mini album after I clean and organize. I choose to make today a simple day.

Card. Here is my completed card for the Everything Scrapbooks and Stamps design team. Now that I am finished with the card, it also marks the end of my term with them officially (okay it really ends when I turn it in later today) It was nice working the people at ESS. I hope to be designing on another team real soon. Thanks for looking.

Design Team: Layout

Layout. I just finished my second layout using the Glitz papers. I used a lot of pop dots. Sorry I didn't take a detail shot of this. All in all I think it is a simple layout. The diagonal stripes give the layout alot of visual movement and then the circles added create a somewhat dizzy effect. I think the colors unify the layout, so I didn't add any new colors into this layout. I hope you like it.

Layout. I completed this layout this morning and I am working on another one, plus the card. In this layout, I was thinking about spaces, leaving spaces between things. It is a Taoist concept for how to live your life (especially helpful for people who are always on the go) and I applied it to many of the areas in this layout. The pink and black was alot to deal with so I added the hints of green to break it up.

Vlog: Last design team kit for ESS

It is amazing how the time can fly. This is the last design team kit for my term as designer for Everything Scrapbooks and Stamps in Lake Worth. I am currently looking for another community or communities to join as a design, now. I have already applied to one wonderful online kit club and I am hoping they like my designs as much as I like their ideas, kits, and forums.
