We all scream for Ice-cream

Well for me Ice cream is a delicious dessert which can be eaten in any time of the year,

It's just not a cold tub but a tub of heavenly creamy cold delight.

Nigella Lawson is my favorite chef when it comes to cooking because her recipes are so simple that even kids can help you making them and No churn coffee ice-cream is on the top of my home made ice-cream list, its just so simple that it doesn't even take much of time and do not call for much of ingredients.

All what you need is just four magical ingredients and you are done....

So lets get started

Ingredients for the Wonder No-Churn Coffee Ice-cream :-

300 ml (1 ¼ cups) heavy cream

175 gms ( 2/3 cup) sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons instant espresso powder

2 tablespoons espresso liqueur (I replaced it with dark rum)

Method:-

Whisk all the ingredients together until soft

peaks form, and you have a gorgeous, caffe-latte-coloured airy mixture,

and then fill 2 x 500ml / 1 x 1-pint airtight containers,

and freeze for 6 hours or overnight. Serve straight from the freezer.

I know you all are thinking this is impossible how can someone make ice-cream in minutes with such simple ingredients & method but I told you nothing is impossible when it comes to Nigella Lawson's cooking,

even I didn't believe it till I made it.

It's a must try recipe, may be you can make it for your date night or just for fun

I made it to try it out and got appreciated from who ever eat it.

Blood is a bodily fluid in humans that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells in short a major part or may be fluid of the body.

A blood donation truly is a “gift of life” that a healthy individual can give to others in their community who are sick or injured. In an hour’s time, a person can donate one unit of blood that can be separated into four individual components that could help save multiple lives.

From one unit of blood, red blood cells can be extracted for use in trauma or surgical patients. Plasma, the liquid part of blood, is administered to patients with clotting problems. The third component of blood, platelets, clot the blood when cuts or other open wounds occur, and are often used in cancer and transplant patients. Cryoprecipitated anti-hemophilic factor (AHF) is also used for clotting factors.

Every seconds someone in the hospital world wide needs blood.More than a million blood donations are needed every day.The blood type most often requested by hospitals is Type O being a universal blood group. More than a million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment.

It only takes about an hour out of your busy schedule and it may save a life. Donating blood may not only benefit the person who received the blood cells but may also improve the health of the donor.

What are the potential health benefits of donating blood?

While the most obvious health benefit of donating blood is the wonderful feeling derived from giving something vital to someone who needs it, the benefits of donating blood may extend far beyond this to having a positive impact on the donor's health.
A healthy person can donate blood four times a year with a minimum of 3 months’ gap between each blood donation. There are also certain steeps one should follow for donating blood.

On occasion of the hotel's first Anniversary it was decided to have a blood donation camp organised at the hotel with the help of Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank & Components.

I decided to help some one by donating blood and so did Monu.

The process for donating blood is like wise every blood donor is given a mini-physical, checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and haemoglobin to ensure it is safe to give blood.

Whole blood donation process only takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

It hardly pains but the only problem with me is the fear for the syringe which makes me scared all the more

With Monu it wasn't the same she was all the more smiling, when the syringe was inserted

But once its done I am all fine I hope this fear for syringe goes out of me some day

After we were done donating the blood we were given some refreshments.

Pench Safari

I get very excited when it comes to outings, picnics or excursions.

I can't really sleep out of excitement the previous night of the picnic and keep thinking about what I got to pack for the same.

It is important to pack carefully and remember some guidelines to ensure safety and enjoyment during the safari.

Well here is the list you would really need when you go on a Jungle Safari

(It took me a day long to think when we were going for the safari last month :p, I am sharing this with you all So that you will save the time that I wasted thinking)

Shoes

Ensure that you are wearing Comfortable walking shoes, No you will not get a chance to walk in the jungle but you never know when you have to get down of your safari gypsy to run out of an emergency hehehe! jokes apart wearing a comfortable shoes will ensure that you are comfortable throughout the journey, as its a day long journey and wearing heals for safari is a big bad idea.

I wore my Puma Shoes as I find them very comforting.

A Cap or a Hat

When you get seated in that open gypsy for your safari on way it gets very

windy,so a cap or a hat is must, I wore a woollen cap and my friends wore the cow boy hat.

Sunglasses

You can see all the pictures below they will shin on your eyes that's how the sun was when we were there for the safari, So the sunglasses are a must too.

Cloths type

Light clothing is essential for the Indian summer but we travelled during the time of winter so I had carried my woollens too.

Insect repellent and a Sunscreen lotion

This are Must! Must! Must! for the jungle safari.

I did applied lots and lots of Sunscreen lotion- Lotus SPF70 but I forgot to apply Insect repellent but thank God! I was packed from top to bottom so I was safe.

Binoculars

Carrying light and handy binoculars will increase your viewing pleasure.

Camera

A camera with extra battery and a good memory card should be handy, as these may not be available everywhere. I am lucky enough that I purchased a Camera recently as you all know.

A DSLR with good FPS will do justice as the animals move really fast, so to capture there wonderful pictures its a must.

Snacks, Water bottle, Rain gear & First aid kit.

This should be carried for a wildlife destination, since it is usually far from a city or town and will be difficult to buy this as you will hardly find general stores here and apart from that you might be there at the Safari for a long period of time, our Safari lasted for some four hours.

We decided to go to Pench which is in Madhya Pradesh for our Jungle Safari which is located approximately 110 KM from Nagpur, you can book your safari online as well.

She is Teona the youngest kid in our group who is lucky enough to enjoy a Safari in her 7th month of age Lucky you :)

We bundled bat ball and badminton for playing at the S kumar 999 Guest house where we stopped for our lunch break, As our Safari time slot was of 01:00 PM

After playing a lot we all had food and rested for a while.
Then we all gathered for our safari, the gypsy that we booked for the safari had come to pick us up at the guest house.

That's what we spotted when we entered the Jungle.

That's a device to keep watch on the movements of animal, they have covered it up with the branches so that animals do not fidget with it if they happen to see it

That's a deer's horn which might have broken from the dears head and the officers who make rounds in the Jungle might have hung it on the branch as no one can carry it out of the Jungle as its an offence.
I noticed a wired thing after every ten meters or twenty meters our guide use to stop the driver and use to bent down of the gypsy to collect something the next time when he did that I bent to see what is he actually doing and I saw that he was collecting the plastic bottles which were littering around the Jungle which were may be thrown by the visitors which is not good. I made a point no one in our group dose that.

That's a stop over where the guide took us for a break where we got 10 min to freshen up.

We did a lot of modeling session over here, by we I mean Ms.Monali :p
And you know what during this photo session we missed the sight of Tiger cause when we again began the safari after the break we saw other people clicking pictures all were calm and quite and until we reached the spot we had already missed it by fraction of seconds :(

My Next trip is for sure to Tadoba that is also a great Tiger reservoir located in the state of Maharashtra.

Mobile in the taking for Monali……….

That’s my sweetheart my bestie Monali its her day today as we go mobile shopping for her :)
She came to pick me up and then we went to pick another bestie of both of us

Here she is, her name is Monnu she is our darling we picked her up and the shopping begins now

We parked our car out the lane as we cant take it inside the small lanes and on our way to the Mobile shop Monnu found the love of here life ;P the Chana chor wala (A hawker)

And we had no option rather than stopping by and buying it for here, can you see the wide Colgate smile on her face for having the Chana chor OMG!

Looking at the smiley face of Monnu, Monali Said ill buy the entire stall for you and can you see how happy Monnu is listening to it :p

That’s the street of Buldi market which is a very famous street market out here, its know for the good street shopping and the mobile shop is just after crossing it.

So Monali finally has taken the new Samsung Galaxy Grand which coasted her 21K, and now she is handing over the old phone's sim card to the shop keeper

We were searching a shop to eat something and this is the way Monnu and Monali always leave me behind

Burgs a Gourmet Goodness

I remember we were on the Veera desai road - Mumbai on our way back home, but I was too hungry and so was Ninad, so he asked me to go to burgs the famous burger joint.

I had to try this as in Nagpur we don't have a good burger joint and apart from that

I have had heard a lot about burgs before from Ninad, So my exception was high on it :)

There are not many who specialize in selling burgers like Burgs. The variety of burgers offered at Burgs like Teriyaki Chicken, burdy num num and may more are just deliciously mouth watering They even have Indian flavors on their menu and which adds a new dimension to it.

The Burgs in Mumbai & Pune is a gourmet burger joint which is not only a food joint but also a perfect hangout destination and you can spend time with your friends and loved once for hours and hours.

The Interior and everything looked good to me from the outside

And it was great inside as well, I pretty much liked the White & yellow combination interior with the yellowish lighting and the burger lamp on the top was the best part of it.

Their wall had the like us on Facebook & follow us Twitter poster, as you can see in the picture.

People were enjoying their burger and we were waiting for ours....

After 5 Min he started waiting, as he actually was very hungry cause before coming to this place I asked him to hunt for few other options finally we landed here :p

I just loved my burger as it was juicy and all rich with the sauce.

They have got a verity of sides and sauces in their menu which you can order for out of which one is the cheese sauce which i really loved and is a must try and they are not too expensive as well for me the experience at burgs was a value for money.

Ratings:-

Interior:- was a 8 out of 10 as there was few thing missing like when we entered there was no music playing which is a big turn off for me at-list, but the white and yellow combi takes my heart, for me a lounge sitting was missing cause a burger is like a luxury food and it can be enjoyed more if they had a nice lounge sittings.

Staff:- 7 out of 10 as they were busy chatting with each other and they were all very casual and me being from the hospitality background cannot really digest it.

Services:- 10 on 10 as we were delivered the order really fast and that was the best thing.

Taste:- 9 on 10 there is a little space of improvement other wise it was all good and tasty for me and must visit again.

Menu:- 10 on 10 very pocket friendly and has a good verity loved it.

Amazing thing for the Mumbaiyas is they deliver your burger on call as well

Old is Gold!!!
It is an old saying but goes so well with all your old memories which you preserve somewhere
in your heart and sometimes in the pictures too as I have did.
I got all my favorite old pictures scanned which were taken in the late 80’s.
During that time digital camera were not at all affordable and were rear to find too,
Mom & dad got most of there pictures clicked at the old style studios where they use to get
the pictures almost after two to three days time as the process of developing the pictures use
to take lot of time it wasn't at all like it is today, you get your pictures printed in minutes after it
is clicked as it is all digital now.

So lets begin the tour to my little old treasure.

That’s my super hero my darling dad when he just graduated, can you see that big collars which are now again trading as well as the geek glasses.

This picture is made to order by my dad to gift my mom I really don't know what was the occasion but love birds really don't require an occasion to gift each other is what I feel ;)

These pictures are clicked on mom dad’s anniversary day and it is clicked at a studio because we all went for dinner together and then we went to the studio for getting our pictures clicked and mostly on mom dad’s anniversary day we use to go to the studio for getting our pictures clicked as there use to be the camera man who had lights and other set-up so we use to get good pictures.

When you go watching any sort of stadium match or a sport I suggest you should go with friends and company.

Until and unless you don’t have a good company you can’t be away from the boredom and you will defiantly find it irritating when you will go watching a stadium sport alone and I accept for me Monnu and Monali are defiantly required when it comes to enjoyment and let that be of any sort.

As our angles team is empty without each other or you can say Alfa (Debashree), tango (Monali) & Charli (Monnu) goes together without saying………

I barely like cricket as a sport but then, when it comes to enjoying with friends I defiantly love all the games. Our Hotel Team mates have recently won the match at the inter hotel cricket championship which we missed visiting.

Last week we received a mail from the human informing about a very interesting match of the winning team and the HOD (Head of the department) of the hotel team.

So We Decided to go watching this time without fail…..

But unfortunately we got late, and when we reached it was almost the end of the second innings :(

But we didn't miss one thing that was clicking picture with the wining team captain :) who lost this match against the HOD's :p

We had great time no doubts to it

Our Winning HOD shows his victory :) while having a jaljeera brought by the hotel team.

Holi Hai

Holi is festival of colors, festival of love and more over a festival of joy and full on hungama & masti for sure.

Its been a long time that I have gone made over playing Holi but this year I wanted to play Holi big time.

So Mom, Dad & I went a fot the Holi shopping day before Holi and we were ready for the Holi day and i shopped my bit so that I could prepare my Favorite Holi drink that is bhang, I tell yo the bhang thandai is awful, and it is a must have Holi drink, you must give it a try in your life time and you will only enjoy it when you are all wet with those bucket full of water thrown on you by your friends and then you run after them and make your self that thirsty tired.

If you wish to try out bhang thandai next year you must try this recipe Bhang-thandai-recipe, though i dint use this recipe as I had one of my own signature recipe which probably is liked by all at my place.

Well that's my brother-in-law who has been painted all silver by one of my friend so just to cool him down I have given him Bhang which also brought a smile on his face.

My Recent purchase, for my recent Passion

My recent passion that is photography which grew up when I saw beautiful picture updates from friends.
I have been waiting to buy a camera since a long, long time but some or the other reason kept me away from buying it.

When first I desired to buy a camera I had a point and shoot in ma mind silly me but then when I saw a friend with a DSLR I thought why not invest for a better one? Hence I decided to buy a DSLR camera but then brand decision was the difficult part in it cause some brand has fantastic bang on futures some are very user-friendly.

It was almost a month research and I was confused between Nikon D 3200 & Canon 1100 D, but then finally I decide that I’ll be purchasing a Canon 1100 D.

Looks great isn't it?

WOOWWWWWWWW! So the Story beings now……

I still remember the day I was finally going to buy the camera my excitement spoke out loud by my status on what’s app ‘Canon 1100D here I come’
A little filmy that sounds isn't it, but it had to be…… as after a month I finally decided to buy my dream camera as I had a budget of 30k, 1100 D was fair on my pockets.
I received a message from a friend saying ‘what’s up and what’s all about Canon 1100 D why are you planning to go for this toy,
And I replied to it that it has taken me a month to decide so please now don’t confuse me with a new option……..
On this my friend replied ‘hey! Friends never confuse they help to decided the best and I have a great option for you, why don’t you come to my hospital this evening’ (oh hello I forgot to tell you my this friend is a Doctor)
I replied ooo! Oh! But I had to buy my camera today………
He again replied to this ‘At list have words with me before you finally put in your money’
Oooook!!!!!!!!! Was my reply to it.
I then hopped on my scooter and went to his hospital and he welcomed me with a glass of chilled shake which he ordered before I was there.
I some how wanted to round it up ASAP so that I rush to the shop and get my canon baby…….
Doc went inside his cabin and came back with a black oldie bag, and handed it over to me and said hey check this out, when I noticed it was a canon 60D the beauty in the oldie bag, A big bubble thought rose on my head that he has planed to donate it to me by looking at the way I badly want a camera :D and I looked at him with a puppy face but he pin blasted the bubbly thought on top of my head and he replied hello you can try it for a week as I don’t really need it this week and then you can decided weather you want 1100D or you want it to be upgraded to 60D, I have a friend who works at the canon dealers and I can get you a handsome discount on it, so take a week and finalize my friend.
My eyes started twinkling on the thought of getting myself a 60D…..

I was rushing to buy a camera, the reason being my elder sister was getting married.
So I had few pre wedding ceremonies at home which I wanted to cover with my camera, it was the month of December when doc gave me his 60D machine and I returned home with it to which my mom kept me asking why did you buy an old piece of camera,
Mommy it’s my friend’s camera which he has lend me for a week to decide on the camera, was my reply on her question.
The pre-wedding ceremony in our language we call it jai-ragada, in which we pray to the god and offer him the first wedding card as a respect and then five ladies grind green gram on a stone grinder and then make small dumplings out of it which is then sun dried and why that’s done I don’t have a clue.

This is the first picture that I clicked with doc’s Machine canon 60D, Super cool colors and I was actually impressed by the quality of the pictures.

That’s my mom’s friend who was preparing for the pooja.

That’s a custom which I probably will not be able to explain you but then this was the part of the ceremony.
The red once are the wedding cards, my choice :p

That’s my aunt doing tilak to the stone grinder which is called sil batta in Hindi with which the ladies will grind the green gram with

I actually was waiting big time for the ceremony to get over and how could I just gulp a ladoo out of it,
These are the kanpoori ladoos which just melt in your mouth in short they are amazing

Ceremony started, and now the ladies are offering prayers to god.

Now this is what is called Jai-ragda, the actual ceremony of the day finally it started

Now that’s one other custom that we call as guua pooja,
Guua means betel nut which are soaked in turmeric powder and then tied in a cloth and sent to the Lord Jannath as that’s our kul devta

That’s shasht deep (6 Lights) which was light at the beginning of the ceremony I find this picture so divine.

Now those are the green gram dumplings in the making….

Can you see the two big dumplings in between they are called bride and groom and the rest are the baraties :p

I almost forgot a photographer cant click self :p but you can see the Doc’s camera that’s 60D with an 18-200 lens.

A week got over and, dad went to return the camera to doc as I was keeping busy with the office stuff…..

I told doc a big thanks… for lending your black beauty but I won’t be able to afford it as it’s almost a lack, and apart from affording I don’t want such professional camera as I just want it for lifestyle photography, so he said oh then you can go ahead for your 1100 D.

I took a friend with me to finally buy my canon 1100 D and this time I was pretty sure to buy it.
Altaf h.Vali is a very well known and an old Camera shop out here, I walked in the shop and there were so many cameras focusing on me through their sexy lenses I could see from the show cases. I asked the shop keeper about 1100 D and a so much expected reply ‘Madam this model is being discontinued from the company but I have an old stock would you want me to pull out one for you or do you want me to assist you with another piece?’ I thought if a piece which has already been discontinued from the market then why go for it so I asked him to get showing me a new one.

He showed me the real beauty that was Sony Alpha A 37 which is not a DSLR and was a DSLT will if you wanna know the difference between an DSLR and DSLT check this out and you can also check out the range of Sony Cameras Sony SLT-DSLR-camera.
I asked him to bill me as it priced the same what I planed to spend and I also got a UV filter with it, a nice bag from Sony and after few days they also sent me a screen guard :)

I finally own a Sony Alpha a 37 now and I will be using it for my feature blogs yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use a concealer apply on the affected areas and blend it well

Take a Foundation which is one or two shades darker then your natural skin complexion we need a dirty look so a whiter skin will not help.

Daspark Hotel

Have you ever thought of weird things? How weird & what were they?
Have you ever thought of Spending a Night in Some park Sleeping In a Drain Pipe Tube?
Doesn't this Sound wired and wacky it did sound the same to me as well when i heard of the DasParkHotel which is Located in Ottensheim, Austria & Berne Park

To be Staying is this Hotel you need not have to do much you just have to make a reservation at Daspark by checking there available dates and then you get a secret code for your Tube,The code is valid only till the date you have made reservation for.

You can come and put the code on the code machine located on the door of your tube and then you can enter your tube Suite.

Here you have everything you need in this small room like a bed, some storing space for the clothes and a lamp. All the other facilities – shower, dinner, etc – can be used on the public space, so you have all the basics for a decent stay for a few nights here. That is precisely why they adopted the system “pay as much as you want or can afford to”. But , even if the conditions are a bit austere, the security measures are great and you have a personal access code.

I Personally think this is the most unusual Hotel to Stay in and if got a chance i would really love to stay Here won't You Love too?

Location & Other details of Berne Park

Related dasparkhotel_bernepark on the island in Emscher bottrop ebel directly on Emscher bike path in one of the Emschergenossenschaft on the basis of the old sewage treatment plant very carefully developed large park.
