The Beast Locker

All packed up

2014-12-27T23:25:00.001+11:00

Hi guys, it's been a really long while, hasn't it? There really isn't an excuse this time other than the fact that I never really got around to updating my life on this blog.

Truth is, and as anyone following me on any form of social media would know, it's been a long time coming that I have been growing out of KPop. I knew it, most people knew it. It was a long 2 years of me still trying to be into KPop but failing.

Earlier this year, Infinite had a comeback and my friends all tweeted me the MV and whatnot. And you know what? I honestly didn't care much about it and if they had not tweeted me, then I wouldn't have even known. At that point, any part of me left that thought that I was still into KPop was proven completely wrong. Shortly after, Beast also had a comeback, again, didn't care. I didn't care much about 2013 comebacks either but still bought the albums - god knows why. But this year, I made no KPop purchases.

In June, I actually packed up all my KPop things because I needed more space in my rooms to put my comics and statues (which I have been reading and following for the past 2-3 years). I needed wall space so I took down all my posters except the Infinite ones that I got from attending their Second Invasion concert, more for nostalgia and also the fact that those posters cannot be found anywhere. All the boxes are in my garage in storage.

I actually considered selling them because there is at least $6 000 worth of merchandise in those boxes but I couldn't bring myself to sell them. I still have fan towels and light sticks in my room for 'in case of emergency' concerts in Sydney lol. If CUBE artists or Infinite came to Australia, I'd definitely still go see them, but other than that, don't count on running into me at events like before.

So yep, that about wraps up why I haven't been posting here, I'm sure those who had followed this blog from the beginning also noticed the growing gaps between posts.

Sorry that I never got around to updating this blog about my leaving of the fandom. Sorry that I worried some people by suddenly disappearing. But all my other social media accounts and my personal blog are alive. You are welcome to follow me on other medias if you want but don't expect any form of KPop there and don't feel like you have to.

Thank you to those followers who have been with me through these years of my running of the blog. I appreciate you and hope that by now that you have found a good blog for Beast product reviews.

Wishing you all the best with your B2UTY-ful futures.

Thank you, for the last time.

2014-03-01T00:20:00.000+11:00

And so it has come to an end! I would like to thank everyone for taking part in the giveaway that I hosted throughout February.

The winners have been automatically generated and contacted via email from superleng@planetmail.net

Just in case the winners don't check back to the old giveaway post, nor their emails, hopefully they see this new post?

Congratulations to the winners!

First Prize: Hard to Love, How to Love; Danielle C.
Second Prize: Midnight Sun; Runa A.

If you are a winner, please reply to the email I sent to the one you used to enter, with your name and address as you want them to appear on the envelope (different countries have different formats so I get confused whenever I ship overseas). So write them with various lines and whatnot and I will copy exactly what you write (upper and lower cases included) and send it. This includes your country. Please double check that it is how you normally receive your online packages. If there is a mistake, I won't be sending another one.

Please reply within 72 hours or another winner will be drawn and you will not be able to claim your prize!

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the giveaway! I look forward to the blog growing for the rest of 2014 and hopefully being able to hold another giveaway (and hopefully with albums that aren't so "old" next time xD). I hope you people who found this blog because of the giveaway stick around, I don't bite!

Beast BodyArt DVD + Towel

2014-02-06T16:30:00.002+11:00

Okay so I'm not gonna lie to you guys, I bought this in 2012 when it came out and it was in shrink wrap on my KPop shrine until I decided to open it and take pictures for this post. Why? Well, it's just one of those exercise DVDs that I don't watch LMAO. I just bought it because it was Beast. But if you're into those kinds of DVDs then you should totally buy it xD

So inside the box, you get a photobook thing, a DVD, and 7 photocards (members + group) Not too shabby for $50 xD Oh and you also get the towel, but I got that outside the box, I don't know if that's normal or not? It was still in packaging though

The photobook just has pictures of the making-of the DVD, it's divided into sections of the different routines and the members and stuff like that. I took a few pictures that I liked, though there are many. They also have these element things happening, wood, fire, etc. It's all connected to the types of exercise, I didn't really get it.

The photocards are more like postcards, nothing out of the ordinary. Lovely pictures though, except Hyunseung's and Dongwoon's which I am unhappy with =\ The lighting looked weird and you can't even see Dongwoon's face.

The DVD, I didn't watch all of it, I just played around with it a bit for this post. Again, I'm not the type that watches these fitness-type DVDs. But it's the usual people on mats doing exercises and a voice over telling the viewer what to do as you copy their motions. The voice over is a woman and speaks kind of, robotic? But at least they can pronounce English fluently.

I tried to mess with the menu to see what I could get, since I had English voice and Korean subtitles. But the languages menu was in Korean so derp. The menu also lets you choose which kind of the exercises you wanted to watch, or you can choose all of them.

The towel is similar to the cheering towels you always see at concerts and stuff. I actually didn't know the point of the towel, maybe the towel is used in some of the exercises? Considering I didn't watch through all of it, I wouldn't know ahaha sorry that I can't talk about that part. Or maybe it's just for you to wipe your forehead with? That's a lot of trouble to go through to give people a towel with pictures on it though. Or, it could just be what I used it for, to hang up and show people that you have it xDDD I just hung up above my window in my other room (:

Well, that's it for the post. Sorry that I couldn't talk about the contents of the DVD, but it was just too long for me to watch. If you're like me and don't like watching these kinds of things, I wouldn't recommend that you buy it. But if you do like these things, go ahead, you'd be watching the Beast members doing it too ;)

Also, thank you to everyone's interest in the giveaway that is currently happening on my blog. I hope you guys all enjoy and good luck to everyone who has entered/is entering!

FAQ:

Q. What happens if one person wins both prizes?
A. I don't really know yet, if it happens, I'll decide. I'll probably contact the user to decide which one they want and then randomly generate another one once they have replied? Not sure yet, but I don't feel it's fair if one person wins both? Don't hold me against this, I might change my mind before the giveaway ends.

Q. How come the number displayed for total entries decreased from yesterday?
A. I can moderate the entries in the giveaway. I log on every few days to delete cheated entries to keep it as fair as possible. It's hard to believe people are rude enough to cheat in this, but thank you to those of you who have done the right thing.

Yoseob's The First Collage album

2014-01-29T12:38:00.000+11:00

For those following my Coming Soon page, derp, sorry, it's out of order, I will post the BEAST Seasons Greeting 2014 pack in 2 weeks or so xD

So this album of Yoseob's is pretty old, I just looked up the release date and it came out on 26 November 2012 so I'm kind of very behind ahahahah

I really loved that the title song was called Caffeine because anyone that knows me knows that I'm a coffee addict and I cannot go through my day without my morning coffee, during uni, I have 3 coffees a day to keep me going xD The song is lovely and something you do expect to play at a cafe, also something I love, I love cafes.

The album packaging is just a simple flip-open thing. The cover is beautiful, the artwork is lovely andi love how they made parts of the packaging glossy and stick out a bit. I tried to take a close-up picture of the bird on the cover to show you guys.

The album also comes with a photocard, I know there are a few types, but I didn't go too crazy with the photocard collection this time as I usually do xDD I don't know why, I may buy more later, we shall see xD

The photos in the book are really nice, I took a picture of a few of my favourites, Yoseob can be hot and adorable in one photobook ahhhh my perfect thing <3

The poster is simple and elegant, I have it stuck up on the wall behind my piano and it's nice to walk by it. Not too high up so I can see it easily every morning :3

A reminder that the giveaway will be opening in a few days on 01 February (GMT +10). And I wanna wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year!

Alive and ready for a giveaway

2014-01-22T16:03:00.003+11:00

Hi guys, I hope I still have readers.

Some of you guys may have noticed that I came back the other day with a new post. To not clutter up the previous entry (Beast official cheering towel) with too much information that was irrelevant to the post, I'm making this one (:

Again, I apologise for taking off again. Uni got stressful for me last semester, I was freaking out a lot more than usual and scared. I'm scared now. I wish I could say that life has been completely dandy, but I'd be lying. That's not to say that I'm in a terrible position right now and my life is in the gutter, no.

For those who have been following me for a few years, it's that time of year again. That time where I decide that I want this blog to be active and start posting. But then it dies during semester when things get rough. I think what I did at the end of last year where I had set days that I posted was a good idea and easy to manage and keep track of. So I think I'll do that again, but instead of posting twice a week, it'll only be once a week (with this one an exception, of course). I haven't really decided what day that I would be doing the posts yet, I'll decide that once Uni starts and I can see how to fit the schedule. But that isn't until March, so until then, I'll probably just be posting Sunday/Monday (GMT +10), with exception posts like random updates and announcements. But expect regular merchandise post once a week.

Anyways, there have been people interested in the giveaway that I was trying to hold and I think that it'd be a great way to start this blog again for the year. I found this nice little generator thing that you guys can enter with little fuss. I just set the options for entering, the start and end date, put the widget on my blog and the generator does the rest.

If you are new here, the giveaway that I was planning was for Midnight Sun album and Hard to Love, How to Love album, both with their respective Dongwoon photocards. The giveaway will be international and you do not pay for any shipping.

The giveaway will open on 01 February 12 am (GMT +10) and end 28 February 11:59 pm (GMT +10). So please look forward to the giveaway and I hope many people will enter. I know from the Blogger stats that there are people who read my blog that don't comment or email me, so I'm hoping that you guys enter too (:

If there's anything you'd like to see me do for the blog, please leave a comment below and I'll see if it's easy enough to do. But based off the previous few years, I don't really like the whole "update on Beast news" and things like that. If there's any Beast merchandise that you want me to post about that aren't already on the Coming Soon page, please feel free to leave a comment below. If I don't have it (unlikely LOL) then I'll try to get it ASAP to post about (:

Beast official cheering towel

2014-01-20T19:50:00.000+11:00

First of all, happy new year everyone!! As always, my blog died during the end of Semester 2 and it starting up again at the start of the year. I'm gonna try to keep it alive this year!! Someone slap me if I don't. Or if I go missing without notice.

I think that I will be changing the scheduling of the posts to once a week (little baby steps xD), although I haven't really decided on a day yet. The day will be decided once I get my university timetable and I'll pick a day that isn't too busy. But until that happens (mid-February), I'll just be posting maybe Sunday/Monday (: But more on the site updates in another post.

This post is gonna be a quick post about the Beast official slogan cheering towel. I'm sure you guys have seen this already, it's been around for like 2 years or something? And you always see fans in the crowd at music shows and concerts waving them.

These towels are just like other KPop ones, they come in these fancy zipped pouches, usually with the group logo on it. And they have a sheet of (tracing?) paper in the middle so that when you fold the towel, it doesn't smudge and imprint on the other side.

I have a few of these towels so I put a twist tie through all the hoops of the zips, twist an end to make a loop and just hang it above my vanity desk on a hook (:

Official Midnight Sun Button set

2013-09-27T22:35:00.001+10:00

And I'm back! So sorry that I left without notice! My workload for both university and work just increased at the same time and I was feeling myself stressing more than I should so I spent a lot of time on studying. I haven't even been seeing friends and barely see my boyfriend unless I meet people to study with D:

But anyways! With my 21st birthday just past and me feeling very old, I think I should hurry up and finish my birthday presents from last year! This is another present from Jeanny, another gift from the Midnight Sun set. This time, it's just buttons/badges.

As you can see, I have not opened it yet. Because Jeanny wrote on the shrink wrap and I don't really have a use for these buttons even if I did open them so like, yeah, I don't see the harm of leaving them in the packaging? xD But that does mean that I can't give a detailed review. But buttons are buttons, what more do you need to know? xD I've put a ruler in the picture (cm) for you to see the sizes of the buttons - that are fairly big.

This following week is midsemester break so I will try to find time to post. I'll try to post more than just Tuesday and Friday so that I can quickly get up to date with the posts on my to-do list, but no promises!

This is the last of the birthday presents from last year. Expect a new post next Tuesday! :D

And to those in Australia, I'm sorry but I won't be attending XIA's concert tomorrow because of various reasons. But I hope that you guys do go and support him! Have fun tomorrow! Let the world of KPop know that we exist and love their artists so more will come down! =D

Happy Friday, see you next time~

Official Midnight Sun L-holder set

2013-08-27T21:40:00.000+10:00

So I'm not sure how many of you guys know that CUBE released a lot of official goods during the Midnight Sun period, including holder sets, ear plugs, photo clips, and everything! I'll be posting about all the ones I have! But the others won't come for a long while ><

So for the Midnight Sun sets, it's gonna have its own tag in case people want to see them all in one section. And I'll be naming them the way they are named on the products. So these are just regular A4-sized clearfiles that you have seen many times before. They had one for Welcome Back To Beast Airline concert merchandise (that I didn't end up blogging about OTL). I think the 'L' in the name stands for large? There's a set of six, one for each member. I actually use the KPop clearfiles a lot at uni, but I haven't gotten around to using these ones yet because I need to finish using the Infinite Second Invasion Evolution ones first ><

The pictures on the clearfiles at like the rest of the Midnight Sun goods, just the boys being sexy in a pool of water. Yum. Yes.

A big thank you to Jeanny for getting me this (along with heaps of other stuff) for my birthday last year!!

So I think that's it for this post~ I'll just attach pictures at the end of this for you guys to take a looksie~

Midnight Sun album (Gold version)

2013-08-24T23:51:00.000+10:00

First off, I'm sorry for not blogging last night! I was sick in bed after I got home ): My boyfriend was sick and it was windy the whole day while we went cherry blossom viewing. So yeah, I didn't feel too good and had to do paperwork before bed.

But this post is gonna be short! It's the gold version of Beast's Midnight Sun! This album is only sold at the CUBE cafe as far as I know? Of course, you can get it online like anything else, a little pricier though. However, I wouldn't know how much it costs because I got it as a birthday present last year from my friends (:

As you can see from the picture up the top, my album has gotten damaged since I got it.

Basically, if you look at my shrine then you can see that I have the album standing up. Over time, the mask fell and I didn't notice it to put it back up. So the glue was stuck to the album where it shouldn't be.

While trying to pull it off, it pulled a layer of the album and a puffy looking thing appears. Just before I took the picture, it happened again so yeah the one at the bottom there is the new one OTL

I recommend that you have it lying flat if you buy this or the original one. The mask will slip ><

The album is pretty much the same as the original Midnight Sun album except it's all gold. The photocards and the jacket shoot photos are the same, the disc is also the same.

But for some reason, the jewellery that dangles from the mask looks a lot better in gold. I really love how everything looks in this album really. Which is odd because I don't really prefer gold jewellery when it comes to something that I wear.

I tried to take a nice picture of the mask but it reflected too much and you could see my phone in the background. I didn't want to go further and zoom in a lot like what I did with the Hard to Love, How to Love album because the picture looks bad that you might as well now have it S:

TADAH!!!! This was the photocard that I got with the album TEEHEE!!! My collection of Beast Midnight Sun photocards completed!! How perfect is Yoseob in this photocard ARRGGGHHHH he is just so god damn perfect! And I loved that it was Yoseob that I got for my birthday!!

A huge big thank you to my lovely friends, Sandra, Sarah, Wendy and Grace, for getting me this album, it made me really happy opening it!! (: I love you girls! And we really need to catch up soon while we are completely stressed over uni xD

So this is the first post out of my birthday presents from last year, expect the next few posts to be birthday presents too~ I had quite a little Beastfinite shower last year xDDD

Another reminder to get your hands on tickets to the 4minute Party Rock concert while you still can! And Media Asia is selling the official light stick too! Get $5 off when you show your ticket when you purchase the light stick ^-^

Birthday haul 2012

2013-08-21T00:09:00.001+10:00

Ahh! I'm so sorry about the lateness! This blog was always planned to be a quick lazy one because I knew I'd be super busy today. I've been up since 6:30 am just doing paperwork and started feeling queasy at work and went home earlier than planned. I was in bed until just a while ago when I remembered that I hadn't blogged yet!!

With my next birthday just around the corner, I thought it'd be a good time to post this quick blog showing the birthday presents that I got last year! You can see all the different things my friends got me, ah~ I'm lucky to be so spoilt by both my parents and my friends. So yep, the next few blog entries will be about the gifts I got for my birthday last year that you can see in the image. Please look forward to them!

Oh and sorry for a crappy quality picture, I can't find the original image so I just redownloaded it from Facebook and yeah, it's a bad quality picture ><

Have you guys got your ticket to the 4minute Party Rock concert?? Media Asia has restocked on 4minute official light sticks, and you get $5 off if you purchase it with proof that you have a ticket to attend the concert!

I still want to hold a giveaway but it seems like no one is interested )':

Hard to Love, How to Love album

2013-08-16T22:27:00.002+10:00

Wooo so it's finally time the post that you've all been waiting for!!! The new Hard to Love, How to Love album!! And like I said, there'd be a giveaway for this album so I made sure to buy two ;) Hope you guys show enough interest for me to still go through with the giveaway though!

So the album is a pretty big cardboard box that opens up like a book. The top lid of the album has a cut out with a clear plastic sheet so it looks kinda of like a photo frame - which made life so difficult trying to take a nice picture of the album without getting the reflection of my phone in the shot /facepalm

I took so many shots and the nicest one without a terrible reflection is one that looks lower quality as a picture than the others OTL I had to move higher and zoom in so yeah.

CUBE why must you make my life so difficult xD

So the album is a big box that is obvious filled with more than just a CD xD Half of it is just padding for the CD. But above the CD is a lot of cardboard photos, a cardboard photo stand and a regulare jacket shoot book.

Okay so I've broken the jacket shoot photos into two bunchs for this blog because LOL. The above photos are just, I can't even. I'm not saying the boys look back, but the photos are just so terribly green-screened it hurts my eyes xDD And if it's not green-screen, it's a terrible photoshop job. Like seriously, CUBE could hire some B2UTY tumblr editor and do a better job. Some of the pictures are a lot worse than the others. Hyunseung's one up there is like, extremely terribad lol like oh my god.

Okay so special mention to Hyunseung for the jacket shoots because FUCK HE LOOKED FUCKING AMAZING. Like jeez I can't even UGGHHHHH QUISE JUST LOOK AT HIM. I mean Yoseob looked perfect as always because Yoseob is all kinds of perfect. And Doojoon is Doojoon, who sets standards to sex skyrocketing to impossibility. But FUCK GUYS. HYUNSEUNG. To those that know me, you're probably thinking "it's the blonde" and well, you're probably right. LMAO. BUT I DON'T EVEN CARE. HE IS #)%(UBN()%#BN(#%

Yeah okay. I'm good now. No wait. I'm not. FWAAHH#%)UN)Q(%UGAHH)%#G()%UNUGHH#%*G&Q()%HYUNSEUNG#*G%BUN()%#()%#GJ)%U#

Okay. Now I'm good. LOL!

Moving on~

So this album came with a set of seven cardboard photos and a cardboard photo stand that can hold the pictures. The one of the album cover has a group picture on the other side that I didn't figure out when I first took the picture so you'll see it in a picture below xDD

So the photos fit very snuggly inside the frame. The frame folds out from the back and there's there slit in the front (refer to first photo) and you just slip it in. You might thing that it would be weird for the photo if the stand part of the frame pokes out, because that's what I thought. But once you put the photo in, you can't even tell. I mean of course if you plunge the thing through the slit then yeah okay, it will be noticeable, but you can go like close to 1 cm without it being noticeable - you don't even need to poke it in that far to have it stand and not slip out anyways (refer to third photo).

So you can have the photo stand portrait if you plan on using one of the sis members, or you can use it landscape if you want to hold the group photo instead (:

And now it's time for the photocard! I'm sure you guys were wondering which cards I got hmm??

Well you guys should know that I usually start buying two copies of an album that comes with photocards - at the beginning. Then if I don't get my bias I usually buy two or three more. And even then I don't, well, let's not bring back memories of Infinite's Inspirit album in where I bought nine copies trying to get Sunggyu \ 0 /

I bought Destiny and Hard to Love, How to Love at the same time, I opened Destiny first, getting Dongwoo twice, but luckily Michael let me open another one - which ended up being Hoya. So I bought those two. I then proceeded to open the Beast one, and FIRST GO I GOT YOSEOB LIKE HOLY FUCK THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME LOL. I mean you guys saw my Midnight Sun post, I bought six copies and got every member but Yoseob. Like photocards just really fucking hate me LMAO!! I then opened the second one and this was going to be the giveaway one - unless it was Doojoon, in which case I'd buy a third one xD and it was Dongwoon so woot! You guys get double Dongwoon for the giveaway!!

Moving onto the poster; first off, I must apologise for the paperweights being int he way. I haven't had time - nor the wall space, to stick it up yet. So it's been rolled up with quite a few other posters of mine, and so I unrolled it and put it on the floor for the picture. The poster is alright, all that stuff isn't glare in my shot or anything, it's in the photo. It's the same shoot as the second part of the jacket shoot - thank god. Because if it was the first one with the terrible green-screen, I would have died. The poster is pretty nice though. Hyunseung. LOL!

Anyways, that brings an end to the post! I hope you enjoyed my posts this week and look forward to more! If you haven't already, check out my previous post about the BEAST meets B2UTY photobook! And have you guys gotten your hands on tickets for the 4minute Party Rock concert yet?? The concert is soon and tickets are very limited! They're gonna run out soon! Head online to Ticketek or go to your local Media Asia store to grab a ticket now! Media Asia will also be restocing on 4minute's official light stick and cheering towel so show some support and buy one or both! =D

Now hopefully, you guys are still interested in the giveaway right? Like I've been mentioning, the giveaway will include both Midnight Sun and Hard to Love, How to Love. Both with respective Dongwoon photocards. Poster not included. If you guys are still interested, please drop a comment below so I know whether to run the giveaway or not. If only a handful of people show interest, there really isn't a point to having it right? ): So let me know down below in the comments ^-^

BEAST meets B2UTY photobook

2013-08-13T23:00:00.000+10:00

So this is a photobook for the 1st Beast fanmeeting Asia tour. It was released on 6th August 2012 - over a year ago T______T but the fanmeet tour itself took place on the 1st to the 23rd of July in 2011.

The photobook is actually really nice - like all Beast photobooks kekeke! It has so many lovely pictures!

So the photobook has another paper covering it, it feels kind of like tracing paper - if it was cardboard and no flimsy. Did that make any sense? I don't know, I liked the idea of it, the cover a doesn't have the red string thing if the tracing paper part isn't there.

The rest string thing is actually a "theme" kind of thing throughout the book.

So the photobook is comprised of pictures of the entire tour. So of course there are DVDs provided that show footage of the fanmeets!

The front cover has the first disc that includes Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

The CD packet is just attached to through the spine - the back side has the second disc - pictures at the end (since I'm taking photos of the book chronologically and stuffs)

So yeah, the DVDs are pretty nifty, lots of fun to watch all the games and stuff especially!! And those lucky fans that got to take pictures with the boys and stuff!! Ahh!! So jealous!

Anyways, so the photobook is broken up into four parts and each part has a theme - completely relevant to the title. So the rest of the rest of this post will be broken up into those parts too, similar format to the Special Selection of Beast post

part 1. waiting

So the first part is about the fans waiting for the boys at the airport and stuff. It's full of pictures of adoring fans from all the countries and stuff - really lovely to look at. It has the boys at the airport and stuff too.

You can really tell how long ago this was because Yoseob still has his Samsung Galaxy S1 in the photos LMAO holy crap. But the photobook did come out over a year after the tour itself (and I'm blogging about this a year after the photobook came out lol T____T) Yeah, the first reaction I had when I saw that the picture to the left had Yoseob's S1 AHAHAHAH I don't know rOfl~

I particularly love looking at the fansigns and stuff in this section because it makes me feel good that other B2UTY are welcoming the boys and loving them so much too! There are even pictures of them signing a giant blanket sheet or something for the boys too! Gives you a really nice fluffy feeling inside :3

part 2. heartbeat

So this section is all the backstage stuff of the boys before the fanmeets. It includes things like rehearsals and them chilling around. Photos included them looking at videos on their phones and browsing their iPad. It also has Doojoon playing around with a soccer ball - in stage outfit mind you LOL

There are also pictures of after the practice and stuff so there's nice sweaty pictures too ;) And since this is before the actual meeting, no make up either~ These boys look amazing in every way :3

And OMG, I hope you guys can read the text in the image to the right. Yoseob is so cute LMAO he's calling himself pretty. I saw the picture of him playing with the elephant and flipped out. Then I read the text at the bottom and it was like "Where does the elephant want to fly to? To visit our B2UTYs, maybe?" and I was like ()#%VN(%UBN(%BUN% MY YOSEOB IS THE CUTEST THING

part 3. b meets b

And this is the section that we've all been waiting for! This part is the actual fanmeet themselves! It has lots of B2UTY pictures and looks amazing! Wish I could've been there! The pictures made the atmosphere seem really fun and I just want to turn back time and hop on a plane to one of the destinations!

The pictures include the ones taken during performances as well as the games they played and stuff. Some of the ones during the performances were so amazing, I loved the shots. I really wished I had some of them digitally and just make it a wallpaper or something. Or print it out and make a poster!! These guys are professional photographers taking pictures for a photobook for a reason :3 And then there were just dorky pictures of the boys doing some fanservice too! You can't go without those after all! xDD And it also included pictures of the lucky fans that got to go up stage to take pictures with the boys too!! Those lucky girls!!

part 4. everlasting

Finally, this brings us to the last part of the photobook. This section mainly comprises of pictures of the back stage crew and people that we mostly won't recognise or know. But I like that they are included because they played a big part in this event too! Without them, we wouldn't have had the photobook because we definitely wouldn't have had the fanmeeting. I really liked that they included this section. I mean sure, I may look at these pictures less than the other sections, but it's amazing to be in the photobook ^-^ Good ol' CUBE!

This part shows the boys after the fanmeets and show the memories they will keep with them forever and that kind of stuff. The pictures are really cute because they're just happy and relieved and exhausted and everything ahahah :3

And this brings us to the end of the amazing photobook!

At the end of the photobook, of course, like I mentioned at the start of the post, is the second disc for the tour. The disc includes Japan and Taipei, the last two places of the tour.

Again, the red string theme happening on the covers. The red string actually appeared quite a lot throughout the photobook but you can't really tell because I've only taken a select few of the pictures for this post. But I'm sure you can find scans of this photobook and stuff - I mean, it's pretty old after all.

To be completely honest, the poster for this photobook wasn't that great. Like, I didn't even remember I had the poster, I only just took the picture before posting (whereas the other pictures were taken this morning). I mean, I remember it had a poster, but I thought I was going crazy and just ignored it. Then I looked behind the door of my other room earlier and saw the poster so took the picture. Sorry that the quality was kind of crap, I don't know why it turned out like that, maybe the ceiling light? The poster is in the corner after all? S: This image for the poster is also in the photobook btw (: Doojoon and Dongwoon LOL xD

And that brings and end to this post! I've been wanting to blog about this photobook but never got around to it like everything else, so now it's finally up - a year later xDD

So anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed reading, please look forward to my next post where I'll be posting about............. HARD TO LOVE, HOW TO LOVE - f i n a l l y . And yep, after that will be a giveaway post if people still show interest :D

Speaking of giveaway, if you guys didn't catch, I was thinking about doing a small giveaway with the Media Asia discount vouchers that I got yesterday. This would only apply to Sydney readers because the voucher is useless to anyone else really. So if you are interested in that giveaway, please leave a comment so I know! :D And of course, let me know if you're still interested in the Hard to Love, How to Love giveaway ^-^

Have you guys got your 4minute Party Rock concert tickets yet?? It's on September 1st with only 1,000 fans!!

4minute Party Rock Concert

2013-08-12T18:34:00.000+10:00

So if you're late to learn of this and haven't seen the light of day since last Thursday, then I need to tell you that 4minute are coming to Sydney!! This isn't Beast and please don't assume that the special guests are Beast or anything because I'm blogging about it here. I'm just blogging because I'm so excited to see them again and it's the first time I've been this excited for a concert in Australia since November 2011 because I didn't really care about other artists that have been coming down here.

But yeah! I'm so glad that I bought the official 4minute lightstick last week! Haha! I also have the official cheering towel that I bought last year or whenever they came out. I have many items - especially CUBE Family ones, that I buy "just in case I need them" and this is one of those times!! xDD

4minute are coming to Sydney to be guest judges for the Gangwon Cover Dance contest that will be held on September 1st at UNSW. This is a different contest to the ones that NU'EST judged last year, but it will be on the same campus.

I'm so damn glad that the concert is on a Sunday! Everything is always on a Saturday and I end up taking a day off work and lose a lot of money. Or end up having an exam and having to leave the exam early to get there on time OTL

Tickets have been on sale starting from today, you can get them via Ticketek or visit a Media Asia store to buy it in person.

You can get a $20 worth of vouchers for Media Asia when you buy your ticket from them. The vouchers come in $5 voucher and expire after 3 months. However, only one voucher can be used when purchase is over $30

The concert is only limited to 1,000 fans so get yours quick~!!! I've already got mine, hope to be seeing some of you there!

For more information and updates, check the JK Entertainment website, or follow their Facebook page or Media Asia's Facebook page.

P.S. I don't really need the discount vouchers from Media Asia. My friends need them so I'll give them their ones but I don't need them, so I was thinking about having a little small giveaway for my part of the vouchers if you guys were interested? Since it's for Media Asia, it would only be applicable to Sydney readers because it's useless to anyone else >< They expire 31st November 2013. Leave a comment to let me know if you are interested ^-^

Midnight Sun (Limited Edition) album

2013-08-09T23:21:00.004+10:00

So this was one of the things I bought that I mentioned in my last post. Another beautifully designed album released shortly after the original Midnight Sun. The limited edition comes with really cool things that I just need to share with you guys!

The way a brand new album looks might be different to this picture because I opened it and used some of the stuff already and put it back in for the photo LOL! You guys saw in my last picture that I bought two albums but since this post was a little late and I wanted it on time, I didn't take the other one off the shelf to take pictures too so I can't really remember and compare contents between the albums like I did in the original Midnight Sun one ><

The album comes with a card holder, two sets of photocards, a large 3D photocard and an LCD screen cleaner. Oh and inside the photo booklet has this card thing too! Not really sure what it's for but hey, it looks cool xDD But I think it's just a pointless card xD

Umm, I actually don't know why one of the sets only has give cards?? I don't know if I lost one or S: I should've probably looked at the other one I had and check to see if there was one missing as well. But I really wanted to get this post up on time so yeah, kinda rushed all this. But I'll edit this if I ever get around to remembering to check my other album xD Or someone just mention in the comments if the photocards they got looked the same xD I think, from memory, that the large 3D one varies? Not too sure, should check what my other album had and look it up online, ahh!! So sorry that this album isn't very informative, if you can't tell, I'm very much rushing through this post and yeah )':

But anyways! The cards holder thing is really nifty because it's the perfect size to fit travel cards and ID cards. I think this was for those cards for travel that they use in Korea that you need to beep and stuff, but I use it when I'm just driving my mum around and need my licence and don't wanna bring a huge-ass wallet. I haven't used it much lately because I got a new thinner wallet but yeah! Really useful!

For the older readers, this can fit the keycards you use to get into parking lots and stuff too!

Oh and I didn't remember to take a picture clearly, but on the other side is like two pockets so this can hold three cards in total, but it does get kinda thick and hard to put in that many at once.

Okay so the photo booklet is freaking beautiful this time in all aspects!

So there are many photoshoots of them in the white suits in different backgrounds, both indoors and outdoors. They even have a bouquet and it's all %#UG)N#(%UGN()#

And then later into the book they have making-of pictures for the original Midnight Sun jacket shoot - WHERE YOSEOB LOOkS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND ADORABLE AND )%)N#%(U)()%#U

Then there is also the making-of pictures of the jacket shoot in the white suits and it's just all around perfection and stuff. Yeah. Good. Perfect. Amazing. Great. LOOK AT YOSEOB.

So the reason I bought two albums was because I needed both the posters LMAO! These two posters really made up for the crappy one in the original Midnight Sun tbqh. The one in the suits is just so simple and beautiful, I don't know if you can see the BEAST written at the top in the picture because it's white LOL

And the other poster of the confetti and stuff is just so happy and colourful and amazing and I just love it so much! It's definitely one of my favourite posters ever! It's right up the top of my wall and you can see it when you look into the window of my room from the outside! xDD

Anyways, that's it for this post! I apologise that it feels really rushed when you read it, and this post wasn't as informative as my other posts. I really just wanted to get this up on time. If I'm not strict with my schedule then I might start slacking off more and more and then this blog will die again! D: But if you have any questions on this album, feel free to leave a comment and I'll answer you as best I can!

So yeah! Sorry for the lateness! I think I might end up posting at this time because I'll be at university and then getting up home late starting from two week's time. And I don't want to blog before doing my paperwork for Saturday so yeah >< Hope you don't mind that it'll be a bit later! I'll try to take pictures on Sundays or something so that the pictures for the posts have nice lighting.

Ah! You probably couldn't tell this time, but the pictures are better because my S3 works again! As if it never fell into the toilet! It's a miracle! But since it was dark and I used like a desk lamp for lighting, the pictures didn't turn out as great as they could have been! ><

Addition! To you CUBE lovers out there (which I'm sure you all are), if you haven't heard yet, 4minute will be having a Party Rock Concert in Sydney on September 1st. They are coming to be judges for the Gangwon Cover Dance contest, and so JK Entertainment took this chance to get them to have a little concert too! The concert will only be 1,000 fans and all tickets are standing tickets are $139! Tickets are on sale on Monday 13th, I'll make another post on Monday about it with more details ^-^

I did something really bad

2013-08-06T23:34:00.000+10:00

Extreme use of the past tense there because this was (according to my file) taken on 21st August, 2012. Anywho, the story behind this is because NU'EST was coming to Sydney, Australia as guest judges for the second round of the KPop Cover Dance contest. I was going to be attending the semi-finals anyway because my boyfriend as well as my bestfriend and were competing and had made it that far, but of course, as news got out that NU'EST were gonna be the judges, a lot more people showed interest in the contest.

The semi-final round was held at UNSW and yeah, I went early to see NU'EST and JR remembered me throughout the day and pointed at me during their performance at the semi-finals and stuff ahahah #)%U()@$*)V%# all those JR feels from back then.

Anyways, to the point of this post xD To be honest, not really a NU'EST fan but since they were coming, I wanted to get an album in case I got lucky enough to get an autograph - that of which I didn't, but I did get a photo with them :D

I visited Media Asia during one of my breaks from classes last year to pick it up, but then I kept buying more things and one thing led to another and YEAHHHHH I ended up with all that in the picture SEOBS. I wanted to post this before the Midnight Sun post but it was late enough and I still want to mention it so I posted it before the other two Beast things that you see in the picture.

Anyways, just a quick post and I'm sorry that this post was even later than Friday's! There have been some family issues, I'm trying to not let it affect me too much. I say that but I haven't done any studying at all today )': I will try to study with the time that I have left. Look forward to Friday's post where I go into detail with an item that you see in the picture above! =D

Midnight Sun album

2013-08-02T21:20:00.001+10:00

Okay first off, I am so sorry about how late this is LOL like really, this album came out on July 2012 so I am over a year late! But I really wanted to post about this because I am still planning to have the giveaway - well, a new giveaway but I still want this album to be part of it! So yeah, enjoy reading what you probably already know about the album xDD

Before I start, I apologise that I didn't get this post up earlier. I actually wanted the post up earlier but my plan for the day ended up taking the whole day - I didn't even eat lunch! But I finished dinner and first thing I did was take pictures to start this post! I wanted to take pictures in the daytime because of better lighting but of course, I couldn't.

I was going to take the pictures when I took the pictures for Tuesday's post - The Special Selection of BEAST International Edition photobook but that post took longer than I thought so I had to go to work after typing it up. I only managed to take one picture of the Midnight Sun albums that day ><

So this album had like seriously the greatest jacket shoot ever because how fucking perfect was Yoseob? As per usual.

LOL no but really everyone was perfect and it had been such a long wait back then and ARGGGHHHHH I still remember my feels from back then like jfc xD

Here's a shot of the first page because Doojoon and Hyunseung are perfect - like the others. LOL I just didn't want to be predictable and have a Yoseob preview. Did I screw you over? Did I? Did I? xDD

But this album is just beautifully designed. Aside from the fact that it comes in this tacky plastic box thing - but I guess it's just so the mask doesn't fall off. The mask is stuck onto the front cover with hot glue, for this reason, it's actually going to vary whether or not your album has the mask stuck straight. Gary (from Media Asia Parramatta) let me look through the boxes of the albums and let me choose the ones that looked nice xDD But that doesn't meant that the mask won't move later one. The one in the picture is one that had started dropping while I had it stand on the shrine and yeah, you can also see that there is like felt material that holds the chains that dangle from the mask, which is also stuck on with hot glue. The bottom of the mask usually covers the material. Usually, if the mask comes off or moves, you can just push it back to where it was originally if the glue is still there.

Sorry I was just so in love with the disc. It looks like the rainbow is just there because it is metal reflecting light, but it isn't. The colours are actually there on the disc and it's just so pretty to look at. I don't know. I just really loved the disc and wanted to show it to you guys. The left cover has the jacket photos and it's attached to the cover like many of Beast's other albums. The photocard is usually on the first cover but there are times where it's in other pages, but its okay because you just fan the book and you'll find the card - it's pretty much like a bookmark placed in there.

Anyways, this album was Beast's first Korean album with photocards. Those who know me know that I'm absolutely crazy when it comes to photocards, so it was no surprise when I bought 6 copies of the album LOL and it was from Gary again, who knows me and photocards for years ago ROFL!

And OMG out of the six albums I bought, I got all the members' photocard except my precious Yoseob!! I got two Dongwoon cards though! xD (Guess which one will be in the giveway lol)

Some of the albums also come with a cashbee card - it's a card used in Korea for shopping points. I got it with Kikwang, Hyunseung and one of the Dongwoon cards. And for the giveaway, I'll definitely include one of the cashbee cards too ^-^ What am I gonna do with three of them, right? xD

Okay so this entire post, I have been raving on about how beautiful everything looked, from the design to the jacket photos, but I have got to say that the poster is way down there with the Shock of the New Era poster for me. Instead of making the poster out of the awesome part of the jacket photos with the graffiti background, they chose the other part where they're in these weird suits which may be the ugliest suits I've ever seen. Being a little harsh? How about this, I bet you guys think that they're just in plain suits and it's all effects. Think again. Those are the actual suits. They are horrible and I hope CUBE didn't spend too much money on them.

Well that's it for this post! Again, apologies for the somewhat lateness, but hey, at least it's still on Friday :D So I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and look forward to having the album in the giveaway.

Are you guys still interested in the giveaway, by the way? Let me know in the comments so that I know I should still hold it. The giveaway will also include a copy of Hard to Love, How to Love too of course!

The Special Selection of BEAST International Edition photobook

2013-07-30T14:43:00.000+10:00

Okay so this is a much delayed post. But I didn't want to take it off the list of things to blog because this photobook is really awesome. This is the International Edition, it was released March 2012.

It comes with a photobook, DVD and stickers. The photobook is what adds so much weight. It's 50 thousand pages of pure perfection xDD Of course, I can't take a picture of the entire book for you, but I took a picture of like one or two pages from every section. The other part is the DVD and stickers which is very thin (as seen in picture) just enough to protect the disk and stickers.

I realised after taking the pictures that I was kinda biased when choosing which pictures to take even though I was trying not to be )': Sorry about that! T____T

So yeah, this post is just gonna show a few pictures of Yoseob, other members too, but a few Yoseob ones LOL. This post about the photobook is not as detailed as my usual ones because it's just really tiring figuring out how to set it all up. Anyways, more on that later.

The stickers are really awesome - so awesome that I can't bare to use them xDD I mean I love stickers but these are just so pretty. They're just from the same photoshoot as the photobook.

There are two group picture stickersand then individual member ones. Each member gets their own slab, not really in any order I don't think? I haven't reordered it in my picture at all.

The sticker sheets are about the size of a normal 6" × 4" photo - but then again, I haven't actually measured it, it just looks like it? xDD

Now for the precious awesome super fantastic photobook. Basically, the photobook is broken up into five sections. They had their own little title section thing, it's just a double spread of black pages with write text in the centre - the left saying "The 1st selection" and the right saying "Reverse yourself". That's basically how it went for all of the section titles. And after each section had a different type of photo which was somehow relevant to the title.

So yeah, I just took a couple of pictures I liked from each section - well, I liked them all because the boys are so perfect, but the super awesome ones.

the 1st selection - reverse yourself

So this first part, I think is meant to show childhood. Like reversing back time and going back to how they were as kids. The pictures had very casual youthful looks and feels. Like Doojoon on a rocking-horse for example xDDD

the 2nd selection - upgrade the dignity

This section had a really classy feel to it, I don't think they used the term "dignity" correctly when naming this section but then again, my vocabulary isn't that great. But it's just really classy and they're all dressed up, like rich ass first-class dining people. There are even pictures where there's like a shelf of wine (?) behind them and stuff.

But O M G this section was the best section ARGGHHHHH. Like, all the Yoseob pictures were so B E Y O N D P E R F E C T like I can't even #)%N#)(%UTVN#( I AM UNABLE TO CAN.

How is he so perfect? Someone please enlighten me to this answer while I sit in the corner holding myself.

the 3rd selection - yours

So umm, for some reason this section didn't have a group picture, the first page after you turn from the title thing is this. AND GUYS. GUYS. G U Y S. LOOK AT YOSEOB. UGH. HOW. HOW IS HE SO PERFECT. HE'S LIKE THE PERFECT LITTLE BUNDLE OF #)%BN#)%(*#GYVN()%UM ARGGHHHHH

Yeah okay, need to maintain myself. LOL! Basically, this section is just full of very casual shoots, like I guess how they'd look if they took you out on a fun date to the amusement park or something like that? Very simple and full of perfection. In case you couldn't tell, Yoseob is quite perfect in this section too xDDD

the 4th selection - moment by moment

This section is kind of semi-casual. It has them in like simple suits and stuff at a bar (?). They're kinda dressed up but not too overly dressed. Something to take you to a nice dinner. Not really sure what they meant by the title though, but yeah~ xD

The clear winner for this section was Doojoon for me. He was just out of this world. Yoseob had his bowl hair cut and this full straight fringe thing and it didn't look that great imo LOL.

But Doojoon was just his handsome self but even more. I swear, Doojoon is the most perfect being on the planet to me, and he somehow creates new levels of perfection that I never knew existed all the god damn time - and this was one of them.

the 5th selection - pure and simple

This section is just as it's called. It's just another very casual photoshoot, showing their purity and simplicity. It's got a very at-home feel because they're on the couch and other things you'd see around the house. Guess it's how they'd spend a simple day at home ^-^

They're all perfect of course but my favourites in this section were definitely Kikwang and Doojoon. But since I took Doojoon's page for the previous section, here's one of Kikwang's many perfect pages in the 5th selection!

So for this photobook, basically you'd get two posters - or at least, I did. The one you see at the top of this paragraph is a usually big landscape-oriented poster size that you would get with any album or photobook (note: I only collect Beastfinite things so my knowledge on album poster size is limited). If Inspirit what the compare, the black part you see on the right is the Infinite "The Mission" showcase poster and you can see it's the same in height.

The second poster that you see to the right is smaller, I don't really know how to explain the poster size in words though ): But basically when I bought it, the poster laid in the middle of the large on above and was rolled inside. But it's a lot smaller. For reference, the poster on the left is the one you get with Yoseob's The First Collage album - very different in height.

As you can see, my posters have already been put up because these were a while ago. Also, the wall is a different colour because these posters are up in a different room to my other posters that I've posted on the site. I'm sure that anyone would figure out that I ran out of wall space because of all the Beastfinite and even anime things on the wall, so after cleaning my other room early this year and giving it a make over, I found time to put up some overdue posters. But now I have many most posters that need to go up and I can't find spaceeee noooo xDDDD

And no. Don't say it. I won't stop buying posters. I love posters! xDD

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post! It might all be information and pictures you've already seen but well, I just wanted to share because this was by far one of my favourite things released. It is on the expensive end, but completely worth it!

I just can't stop myself

2013-07-29T19:05:00.001+10:00

So I just spent $170 last night online shopping for some Beast official goods that I found out that I didn't have yet. But today, I went to Media Asia planning to get Hard to Love, How to Love and Destiny albums - two of each plus posters (not in the photo). But then I also got myself the official 4minute and BTOB light sticks that I mentioned in my last post LOL

I just couldn't help myself! And even with the amazing discount that Michael gave me, it came to $140 so S E O B S

I am just on a crazy money-spending roll right now. Not only the KPop but I just bought a new $2000 computer last week, and now I need to buy textbooks for uni ARGGHHHHHH my money is just going down the drain. But I'm really being careful with the money I'm spending though, I'm planning a big Korea (and maybe Japan) trip for the end of the year :D

Anyways, this was just a little update, not my usual posts. Just to let you know what I got keke! Ahh the photo makes me room look so messy! But it isn't that messy I swear! It's actually quite empty after my cleaning over the past month :3 (the basket on the ground is usually on the coffee table but I took it off for the photo) Anywho, the picture is to show you guys what I got today, like a haul, but I won't be posting about the Hard to Love, How to Love albums yet, not for a week or two >< You won't know what photocards I got until then!

If you guys want me to post about the 4minute/BTOB light sticks, then just leave a comment and I'll see what I can do! I don't think I'll be posting about the Destiny album here because it's too far off the Beast track - at least 4minute/BTOB are CUBE Family.

KPop "shrine"

2013-07-26T23:09:00.000+10:00

So let's kick-off my getting-back-into-regular-blogging by posting what my current KPop "shrine" or collection looks like. It's nothing impressive. It's not really KPop so to speak either. As people who already know me would know, I'm not, and have never been, an avid "KPop" fan. I merely follow my bias groups very super extremely hardcorely xDD

Three years ago, it was only Beast things that I bought, despite having SS501 as a bias group. I was a poor high school student of course. Eventually, Infinite got dragged into it. And then I also impulse-buy SS501 and 4minute things here and there. But obviously seen from the pictures, the collection is just basically every Beast and Infinite thing in existence xDDD I used to wonder why I had no money, and then I take a look and remember why xD But these days, I'm feelin' rich because both groups don't release too many things and I earn more than I used to 3 years ago so when both groups happen to decide to comeback at the same time - killing my life and bank account, I am ready. /coughlikenowcough

I don't know if I ever took pictures of how my collection when it was only Beast used to look like, but it used to be this tiny little section in my mini bookshelf. It easily grew out of it. This part used to my like a massive Yu-Gi-Oh! shrine that I've built since 2003ish over the years. I've sadly packed those things away to make room for the Beastfinite xD

At first, I really had trouble arranging the albums. If they were the same size then it'd be easy, but then KPop doesn't make it that easy for you. So I didn't know whether to organise it by size, or by colour, or whatever. In the end, I organised it in chronological order of release Korean then Japanese, the more towards the Beast lightstick, the more recent.

The top part is really messy and unorganised. It's really just for things I don't know where else to put. The left is just old magazines - which by the way, I stopped buying because I don't really read magazines anymore at all. Oh, unless they're full must-haves like Beast in that Elle Girl magazine that I'm sure every B2UTY knows of by now? xD I never got around to blogging about that magazine, if people want me to blog about it, comment or something and I'll take it off not-end-up-blogging list xD The things on the right side are just old boxes from Seasons Greetings andstuff like that. And then there's the boxes from the Beautiful Show 2012 merchandises that I don't really wanna throw out either xD There's also the box for the tumbler mug from Infinite's Second Invasion Evolution merchandise - that I still use btw xD

The back boards are kind of blank, I know, I've been telling myself to buy poster stick-its thingoes but never got around to it LOL And yeah, Hard to Love, How to Love and Destiny aren't there yet because I took the photos just now. I'll get those two on Monday during my break at uni, and I'll probably get the 4minute and BTOB official lightsticks too if they're still in-stock. I wanted to get them for a while but been busy with uni then work, etc. I'd like to be prepared for the time I cheer for 4minute (again) and BTOB. Also, if you guys read my post about the Beast lightstick, then if 4minute and BTOB have just as awesome ones, I'd buy them anyways because they are so great and a must-have!

Oh, and the parts at the ends of the two album rows are a little messy too. I didn't get around to getting cute bookends or anything to keep them up so there's just other random Beastfinite things holding them up xDDD

Sorry for the low-quality pictures by the way. I dropped my Galaxy S3 into the toilet two weeks ago (LOL T____T) and now I'm using my old S2 again. They both have 10.1mp for camera but I can totally tell the difference in the pictures once they are on the computer? The S2 doesn't focus as well as the S3 does. Hope you guys can cope with this quality picture for a while? If not, I'll whip out my 14.1mp digitial camera that I haven't used for a while?

Smiles for the future

Cr. keepleaves

So I'm incredibly sorry for not having posting here. There's really no excuse for the break I've taken. I mean it's past half way through the year and I haven't posted on here at all. Why? Is it because I've grown out of Beast? A little. Is it because I've moved on to Infinite? No. Is it because I've grown out of KPop? Possibly.

Those who follow me on tumblr and my personal blog would realise that I have also neglected my tumblr for the past year. Of course, like this blog, it always had dead periods like during tough times with life and especially during exam period. But even though the two aforementioned have been on track (kind of), this blog has not had a post since 2012. Despite Beast having had things release - that of which I've all bought, I haven't been posting about them or anything ):

At first, I started off this as just a random thing, like a hobby, just like my personal blog. I didn't want Beast to clog up my personal blog so I made this. But it started getting a lot of followers and I didn't want to post just random things, I guess I wanted to post some quality posts instead of random crap that I would usually have on my personal blog and tumblr. The followers continued to increase but no many comments were left and I got confused on what I was doing. There were a few people who did email me, many were just things about the blog, some wanted to have a chat - which felt really nice.

I kept saying since the beginning, that I wanted this blog to go somewhere. I guess it isn't because I'm not putting the effort that I should be into this blog, but I will continue trying. I keep saying that I'll try harder but then I just don't post. Honestly speaking, I don't get as revved up about Beast news as I used to. I continue buying their things, of course, I still love them, just not to the crazy point that I used to. My time and love didn't move to Infinite (as many would like to believe) because Infinite feels have decreased too LOL. I've just grown out of Beastfinite a little and my time and love have gone somewhere else - to someone else.

This isn't my personal blog so I don't really post about myself on here so the people who solely follow this blog (without my personal blog, my tumblr, my personal twitter, etc.) don't know much about me without emailing me. But I will try to get this blog back on track, the track that I wanted it on when I first created this blog - to post Beast merchandise because they are seriously really awesome and I'm glad that people find it useful, and of course their albums. And I have a stack of Midnight Sun albums to giveaway still lol, with Beast having their next comeback and a new album out. Maybe that's how I'll start getting this blog back on track - a post about Hard To Love, How To Love album (once I get it) and then a big giveaway for the album, and including the Midnight Sun albums for runner-ups or something because I don't want to have bought them for no reason xD

Ahh~ I'm feeling better now, blogging about - thinking about Beast does that to me, one of the millions of reasons I love them - and will continue to love them. So hopefully the followers and readers of the blog are not dead and will stick around for the future I have for this blog! For now, I'll just change the layout of the blog bit by bit until I get my hands on the album ^-^

PS. I hope no one has been emailing me on my old email because I got a new one a few months ago that I updated on this blog but not sure if everyone saw: superleng@planetmail.net

Beast paperclips

2012-12-14T10:30:00.000+11:00

So this isn't as overdue as most of the other posts I need to post on Fridays, but I thought I'd get it out of the way since it's the easiest to post about. Also, the other plans I have for overdue posts takes up a few weeks since they follow-on from each other so I thought I'd get this out of the way first.

These are really nifty paper clips that you can use to keep your things organised TEEHEE I use them for my study notes and love them!

Media Asia sells them for $3 a set, they have Beast, Infinite, EXO and Big Bang last I checked. Of course the Inspirit in me also made me buy Infinite ones along with the Beast ones. Although they're a tad bit pricey for paperclips, they're still pretty awesome and I love stationery, especially things that make your study notes more fun :3

NB. I decided I'm gonna start putting watermarks on my photos now, I was meant to put it on the last two Beautiful Show posts too but kept forgetting. If they're really bothersome, let me know, but I personally would rather the watermarks there.

Now on Glipho

2012-12-13T15:18:00.000+11:00

So the other week I was told about Glipho on Twitter by @gliphoapp, but due to the same reasons I left this blog dead for a week, I didn't see the tweet until yesterday.

I thought I'd give Glipho a go and honestly it took a bit to get a hang of it, especially the importing blog bit. Maybe I'm just slow with some things ahah but really I do love the idea of it so far.

It's really easy for you to import pictures from Facebook, Instagram, Picaza album, etc. and you can easily link your Glipho with your Twitter, Google account, etc.

Glipho is very innovative and you can easily browse categories to find blogs that you like and discuss things with people you have commonalities with. And your blog entries are called Gliphs. The layout of Glipho makes it really easy to use, especially the Desk section where you write a new Gliph.

However The Beast Locker at Glipho is only just there to export blog entries from here to share the blog with other readers. There's nothing that I post on Glipho that will not be here, this blog will still be the main one so don't worry about feeling the need to follow both. But I might think about advantages that Glipho followers have in the future? ;) /hinthint.

Anyways, just thought I'd share Glipho with you guys because it really is quite a great idea and I hope you guys enjoy using it as a blogging platform.

If you have a chance, maybe give me a follow on there too? ;) http://glipho.com/thebeastlocker

Official Beast Rose Lightstick

2012-12-12T17:30:00.001+11:00

So I've had quite a few blogs about this lightstick by now I think, like links on where to buy it and just general spazzing about it when it was first announced, maybe another one when it was first seen? LOL I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I blogged a quick picture when I first got it either, or if I just tweeted it. But here is finally a blog about it. And I probably won't tell you anything that you don't already know.

This lightstick is pretty freaking beautiful, I don't know how many of you guys have watched Beauty and the Beast, but in the movie, the rose keeps the prince as a Beast. And only after he finds love does he go back to his human form. So I guess in the movie, the rose is bad LOL seeing as it was a curse and all xD But with these lightsticks, we can keep Beast as Beast, right? Because our rose lightsticks will never die out. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into the lightsticks LOL but I really do love the idea of them being a rose.

The lightstick itself is pretty big, I guess they might be the same as the Big Bang crown ones, but I'm not sure since I've never seen one in person. But the rose is pretty big. The battery case-thing is pretty cool, it's metal and has the Beast logo engraved on it. Inside, you can see that there is a barrel kind of thing for three AAA batteries, I think I put these batteries in myself. I don't think it comes with batteries. The bottom of the battery case-thing has a button, so when it's all put together in the rose, the button is at the bottom of the lightstick to turn on the light.

You have three settings for the light, the first one is just like a normal torch, the second is a rapidly flashing light, and the third is a slower more moderate flashing light. Each time you press the button, it turns on the light on, then off, then onto the next setting, then off, then onto the next setting, then off again, and it goes in a loop in this order.

This is from the Beautiful Show merchandise but I'm pretty sure you can still use this whenever you attend an event where Beast performs to show your support LOL. K-B2UTY used these lightsticks during Beautiful Night promotions and it was just really beautiful seeing the grey ocean.

I'm pretty sure you can still buy these anywhere online, the online CUBE store would definitely still have them. I'm sure you can search eBay to find them as well. For Australians, I'm pretty sure Media Asia still has them in stock too. I really recommend this lightstick to any B2UTY and think that every B2UTY needs one.
