Little Talk : 30 Children and More

2024-09-26T18:35:00.000-07:00

Can a man have thirty over children? In the local paper, a man was reported to have 34. At first thought, that seemed improbable but then the man has four wives. Then again, this world is full of surprises. A woman from Argentina, I read gave birth to her 32nd child in 1989. The woman had a set of triplets when she was just 13. Some other women were said to have over 40, 50 and 60 children and believe it or not, they gave birth to the children all by themselves.

Little Talk: Preachers Don't Preach

2024-06-07T07:46:00.000-07:00

A preacher is said to be person who delivers a sermon but just now, I thought maybe a preacher does more than that. A preacher once caused an outcry when he brought to the attention of the public about some socks sold in a convenience shop. The latest was the news of him suggesting ways to a teacher on how to convert minors without their parents' knowledge. Perhaps, his supporters may say that the preacher had meant well since it must be his utmost belief that his is the only true religion that ensures that the followers go to heaven. He has suggested students of the teachers who are around 15 and 16 years old could perform their proclamation of faith, i.e to be converted but the process is not to be recorded using cameras or videos. They are not to be registered too like what is usually done. Would you, as parents send your kids to school where teachers preach and what do you think of preachers who does more than preach?
