To watch this travesty of open debate and free speech is to understand the depth of the problem. We are muzzled when talking about Islam or Muslims unless it is in the most glowing terms possible. To question any aspect of Islam or Muslim behavior is to be immediately labeled a "racist" or the dreaded Islamophobe.

Tommy Robinson speaks the truth and asks the hard questions, and for that he is ridiculed, demeaned and slandered by those who would be the first against the wall when the sharia comes. Shameful to watch, the crowd and the host of the show have no idea what they are talking about, seemingly speaking from emotion rather than pragmatism.

The hatred from the crowd, and the four panelists is palpable and uneasy. When you know the facts about Islamic doctrine and how it subjugates non-Muslims (and those seen as "not Muslim enough") listening to them spout nonsense in the guise of knowledge is frightening.

Britain is on the brink of losing the great civilization it was to a future of sharia and enslavement and sitting there on the stage we see those who are willingly giving up that heritage in the name of diversity and tolerance.

Called a racist, Tommy asked repeatedly for the accusers to show where he has made a racist statement, going so far as to ask "What race is Islam again?" There was no reply, only more accusations based in how they feel about Islam and Muslims rather than what the reality is.

If you feel something it is neither right or wrong, it just is, thus the ease with which a rational can be formed and clung to. I feel it, therefore it must be true for me and I don't have to explain it to anyone.

I feel you are a racist, no explanation needed or forthcoming. That is the kind of critical analysis that comes from doing no research or study of what it is you need to understand. It is also the typical mindset of those who believe all religions are equal (some more than others) and the only ones you can criticize are Christianity and Judaism. After all, they are the evil ones as we are constantly told.

Listen carefully to the panelists as they spew their expert opinions, and decide who it is that holds the higher ground.

Syria Militants Massacre Christian Village Population(Graphic)

More details of a massacre in Homs late last month have emerged following the global outcry of amassacre in Deir el-Zour yesterday.

The massacre, carried out by Free Syrian Army militants reportedly targeted men, women and children in the Christian village of al-Duwayr/Douar close to the city of Homs and the border with Lebanon. The incident received little media attention, having occurred at the same time as thousands of Syrian troops converged on the insurgent-occupied town of al-Qusayr.

According to sources, around 350 heavily armed militants entered the village, broke into homes and assembled residents in the main square of the village where they were executed. The final death toll is not known but photos show severe damage to property in the village.

Syrian army sources said that they reached the village after the massacre, resulting in clashes with militants. Sources also reported that Turkish and Chechen extremists were among the perpetrators. Jihad shoebomber Richard Reid sentenced to 80 years

Did anyone hear this report on any mainstream media source? Nothing on the majors, I heard this from longtime reader "JL" and had to search for a source. I found one, and what was said by Reid should send chills down the backs of anyone who understands the global jihad threat.

First, in open court, Reid recites the shahada, or statement of faith in which a Muslim affirms his belief in Allah as the only god, and that Muhammad is his messenger. He is a soldier of Allah, he says as to explain in totality why he did what he did. He goes on to explain what his motives are; "I further admit my allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah. Okay?" He continues with a list of grievances we have heard before, we murder Muslims, Israel is the bad guy, our occupation of Muslim lands, the usual litany of gripes and whines we hear endlessly. When done, the judge, William G. Young gives Reid lesson in American justice and almost says all the right things. The judge tries to tell the open court why he thinks Reid did what he did, tries to tell us the motive behind his actions, and gets close to the truth but does not cross that line.

In explaining what Reid's motives are, Judge Young fails to address the core problem; Islamic texts and teachings that are the basis for the actions of Reid, as explained by Reid himself. The judge asks, and then answers his own question "...why you did something so horrific. What was it that led you here to this courtroom today. I have listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself what sort of unfathomable hate led you to do what you are guilty and admit you are guilty of doing. And I have an answer for you. It may not satisfy you. But as I search this entire record it comes as close to understanding as I know. It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose" Judge Young had the perfect opportunity to explain exactly what the crux of this hatred of our freedoms was, yet he skirted the issue by couching everything in a non-religious shroud, preferring to instead believe that Reid is nothing but a common criminal deserving of what the courts decide when dealing with another violent criminal. I would wager the judge has never read the Qur'an or talked to those of us who study and report on jihad and its devastating effect on non-Muslim cultures.

Another chance to expose Islamic theology for the evil that it is, another chance blown because of political correctness and willful blindness.

Remember, this decision and subsequent incarceration happened in 2003, the question still stands as to why it was never reported.

Your government has sponsored the rape and torture of Muslims in the prisons of Egypt and Turkey and Syria and Jordan with their money and with their weapons. Okay? I don't know, see what I done as being equal to rape and to torture, or to the deaths of the two million children in Iraq. Okay?
Thirdly. So, for this reason, I think I ought not apologize for my actions. I am at war with your country.

I'm at war with them not for personal reasons but because they have murdered more than, so many children and they have oppressed my religion and they have oppressed people for no reason except that they say we believe in Allah.

This is the only reason that America sponsors Egypt. It's the only reason they sponsor Turkey. It's the
only reason they back Israel. Okay? As far as the sentence is concerned, it's in your hand. Only really it is not even in your hand. It's in Allah's hand. I put my trust in Allah totally and I know that he will give victory to his religion. And he will give victory to those who believe and he will destroy those who wish to oppress the people because they believe in Allah.

So you can judge and I leave you to judge. And I don't mind. This is all I have to say. And I bear witness to Muhammad this is Allah's message.

This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair and a just sentence. It is a righteous sentence. Let me explain this to you.

We are not afraid of any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been through the fire before. There is all too much war talk here. And I say that to everyone with the utmost respect. Here in this court where we deal with individuals as individuals, and care for individuals as individuals, as human beings we reach out for justice. You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to call you a
soldier gives you far too much stature. Whether it is the officers of government who do it or your attorney who does it, or that happens to be your view, you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate with terrorists. We do not treat with terrorists. We do not sign documents with terrorists.

We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice.

UC Berkeley appoints new student regent with jihadist and anti-semetic ideals

The most egregious part of this is the statement made by Sadia Saifuddin which is a perfect example of the Qur'anic injunction which allows Muslims to lie (taqiyya) if they feel threatened "“My faith,” she explained, “is a big part of my life. What I love the most about Islam is that it preaches tolerance and love..." The left and those who know nothing about Islamic ideology lap this up like a thirsty dog on a hot July day.

UC Berkeley used to be a place where debate, truth and honest dialogue was the norm. Today we have people like Saifuddin who are tied to the Students for Justice in Palestine and the Muslim Student Association, both groups having at their core a hatred of Israel and the US, and the belief in the Islamic requirement to convert, subjugate or kill unbelievers.

College ain't what it used to be.

Islamic Supremacist Nominated as UC Student Regent

A UC Berkeley senior who is a venomous supporter of the jihad against Israel and member of several Islamic supremacist groups with links to jihad terror has been nominated to become the University of California student regent for the 2014-15 academic year.

The student regent participates in a board that sets policies for the entire University of California system, which consists of ten campuses throughout the state. Sadia Saifuddin is expected to be confirmed as student regent by the full Board of Regents next month.

The hijabbed Saifuddin would be the first Muslim student regent. “My faith,” she explained, “is a big part of my life. What I love the most about Islam is that it preaches tolerance and love, which is the reason that I have close friends and networks outside of the Muslim community as well.”

Yet Saifuddin’s record at UC-Berkeley is hardly one of tolerance and love. She co-sponsored a BDS resolution in the Berkeley student Senate, calling on the entire University of California system to divest companies that do business with Israel, based on the spurious premise that Israel is “occupying” Palestinian territory.

Saifuddin, a member of both Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Muslim Students Association (MSA), also spearheaded “A Resolution Condemning Islamophobic Hate Speech at the University of California,” which the student Senate passed unanimously. Saifuddin herself wrote the resolution, which claimed that “since September 11, 2001, Islamophobia has become the latest ‘hazing’ technique across the United States and has created a chilling effect for Muslims, Arabs, and South Asians in their communities, work-environments, and campuses,” and that “according to a Gallup Study, 60% of of [sic] Muslim Americans say that Muslims face prejudice from Americans.”

In fact, the very concept of “Islamophobia” is a blunt instrument in the hands of Islamic supremacists, designed to intimidate non-Muslims into thinking that resisting jihad terror is “hateful.” And reality does not back up its existence: the British journalist Brendan O’Neill gave the truth behind such claims in the Telegraph last April, in the wake of the Boston Marathon jihad bombings:

In the years since 9/11, the American public has been admirably tolerant towards Muslim communities. According to federal crime stats collected by the FBI, in 2009 there were 107 anti-Muslim hate crimes; in a country of 300 million people that is a very low number. In 2010, a year of great terrorism panic following the attempt by Pakistani-American Faisal Shahzad to detonate a car bomb in Times Square in NYC, there were 160 anti-Muslim hate crimes. In 2011, there were 157. To see how imaginary the Islamophobic mob is, consider a state like Texas, fashionably mocked as a backward Hicksville full of Fox News-watching morons: there are 420,000 Muslims in Texas, yet in 2011 there were only six anti-Muslim hate crimes there. It simply isn’t true that mad racist Yanks are biting at the bit to attack Muslims.

No actual hate crimes are ever justified. In light of her hysterical exaggeration of the supposed “climate of hate” against Muslims in America since 9/11, however, clearly Saifuddin is joining Islamic supremacist advocacy groups such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in using hate crimes to deflect attention from the reality of jihad activity and bully Americans into thinking that it is wrong and bigoted to oppose jihad terror and Islamic supremacism. Hamas-linked CAIR and other Muslims have not hesitated to fabricate “hate crimes.” CAIR and other groups like it want and need hate crimes against Muslims, because they can use them for political points and as weapons to intimidate people into remaining silent about the jihad threat.

Egyptian artists rally against 'Islamisation' of culture

For days now, dozens of Egyptian artists and intellectuals have been occupying the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture in Cairo to demand the resignation of the new culture minister, whom the protesters accuse of “Islamising” the sector.

Alaa Abdel Aziz taught film editing at the Cairo Higher Institute of Cinema. President Morsi nominated him to become the culture minister in early May in order to “fight against corruption” .
Since he began his new job, the minister fired the director of the Cairo Opera, as well as both the Director of Fine Arts and the Director of Literature. These actions have infuriated many intellectuals, who in early June began a sit-in in front of and in the Ministry of Culture in Cairo to call for the minister’s resignation.

As a sign of protest, various cultural officials have resigned, including the Secretary General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Culture Saeed Tawfik, who accused the authorities to be “brother-ifying” [in reference to the Muslim Brotherhood] artistic expression.

Tensions rose on Tuesday when dozens of supporters of P²resident Morsi arrived at the ministry, located in the upscale Zamalek neighbourhood, to clear out the protesters. The two factions faced off and threw rocks at each other, causing several mild injuries. The police, who had been deployed around the entire building, intervened before the situation could degenerate any further.
The personnel of the prestigious Cairo Opera, who were the first affected by the Ministry of Culture’s new measures, went on an indefinite strike after the minister fired the Opera’s director, Ines Abdel Dayem, a renowned flutist. Last Sunday, dancers from the Cairo Opera Ballet Company put on “Zorba” in the street as a challenge to the minister and to taunt a member of the Shura Council (the upper house of the Egyptian Parliament) who called for the ballet to be shut down because he said it incited debauchery.

Wash man sentenced for trying to aid terrorists

SPOKANE, Wash. —

A man who almost killed himself in an explosion three years ago was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for making a bomb and attempting to help terrorists.

Joseph J. Brice, 22, of Clarkston was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty in September to manufacturing an explosive device and attempting to provide material assistance to terrorists, The Spokesman-Review reported ( http://is.gd/bjyQTt).

Brice spoke at the hearing, saying he regretted his actions that resulted from a deep depression after he suffered life-threatening injuries in the bomb blast.

"I'm deeply remorseful and just want to go home," Brice said.

U.S. District Court Judge Lonny Suko said he could not take Brice at his word that the threats of violence were a joke.

"I can't sweep all that under the rug," Suko said. "We are judged by what we say and do."

Brice will get credit for two years already spent behind bars.

After the explosion, the FBI found that Brice had posted YouTube videos honoring Islamic jihadists and paying tribute to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Brice's lawyer, Matthew Campbell, said the statements were just jokes and the result of poor decisions, not an actual intent to harm anyone.

Campbell said Brice was "goaded" into providing an undercover FBI agent with bomb details. He also said Brice was no more an expert on bomb-making than anyone who read online encyclopedias and high school chemistry books.

Or reads the online jihadist magazine "Inspire" which had simple diagrams and instructions to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom.

However, federal prosecutors said Brice was injured as he tried to copy McVeigh's complex bomb that killed 168 people in 1995.

Afghanistan: parliament upholds right for Muslim male to marry 9 year old girls

Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).

Afghan parliament upholds right to marry children

Afghanistan's parliament has rejected a measure that would have barred men from marrying girls younger than 16, saying the proposal ran counter to Islamic ideology.

The measure also would have banned “baad, [the] traditional practice of buying or selling women to settle disputes,” and outlawed criminal charges being imposed on rape victims, Breitbart reported. Rape victims in Afghanistan often are charged with fornication or adultery.

President Hamid Karzai reportedly supported the measures, but opponents said they “violate[d] Islamic principles,” Breitbart reported.

The failure of parliament to act in accordance with Mr. Karzai highlights a deep rift among the nation’s politicians. And it comes at a time when elections are set for April 2014 for a new president.

There is “a rift between conservative and more secular members of the community,” Sky News reported.

Christians almost gone in the Middle East, the West does nothing

2,000 years ago you could throw a stone anywhere in the Levant and hit a Christian. Today that stone would instead would smack a Muslim. Christians are becoming as rare as hens teeth, and the main reason is Islamic persecution.

No Western leader is interested in coming to the aid of Christians, but they are willing to fawn all over themselves to give aid to the jihadists trying to topple Assad in Syria, in support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the phoenix rising jihad happening in Turkey with Erdogan and his Islamization programs. The founders of the Middle East are going by the wayside, soon they will be a footnote in the history books.

Christians face being driven from the Middle East

This could be the greatest story never told.

The Arab Spring has turned to bitter mid-winter for Christians across the Middle East.

Members of orthodox faiths are being driven from their biblical heartlands by hard line Muslim governments with no toleration of religious diversity.

All behind the increasingly opaque veil of chaos and civil war as the rest of the world looks the other way.

The exodus comes just 24-months into the biggest political upheaval in a generation, according to Father Peter-Michael Preble, an Orthodox priest with the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas.

He says Christians are the single most persecuted minority in countries including Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria Iraq, Iran and the Lebanon.

The Southbridge, Mass. priest points to the recent kidnapping of two prominent Orthodox bishops by rebel Syrian fighters as evidence of the bind Christians find themselves in.

“Syriac Orthodox Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim and Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Boulos Yaziji were both taken after they were tried to negotiate the release of two other Orthodox priests being held for ransom,” Preble told the Toronto Sun.

“Sadly, they were also outspoken in highlighting the threat to religious tolerance from the conflict engulfing their country. “They were warning against a Christian holocaust.

“Look across the entire Middle East and you see flames and war with radical Islamists fighting either governments or each other with Christians in the crossfire.

“At the political level it is the Muslim Brotherhood making life very difficult for the faithful. Christians have made their lives in those countries for millennia yet now face the prospect of either being murdered or banished forever.”

Preble says the entire Judeo-Christian heritage that once underpinned the region is threatened with collapse.

(.) In an effort to raise public awareness of the plight of the faithful, Father Preble has written to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and asked him to work for the release of the captive priests.

So far he has heard no response but warns the fate of Christians in the Syrian city of Homs may be one that awaits all followers in the area.

“Opposition fighters have driven out 80,000 Christians from the Homs region alone and they know they can never return,” Preble said. “Their churches have been destroyed, businesses taken and their future denied. What if this pattern is repeated across all of Syria and the persecution of the Copts in Egypt goes on?

Despite overwhelming evidence, IRS reinstates CAIR tax-exempt status

Oh the folly that men do when they think not on the consequences of their actions. The evidence is monumental that the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is not to be trusted, yet our dear leaders see fit to bestow more legitimacy on a group that should be closed down for sedition and agitation for Islamic conquest. A good number of their top leaders are in prison for a variety of offenses and they have repeatedly called on the Muslim community in the US the not cooperate with the FBI in investigations of jihad activity.

CAIR had me fired from a non-credit teaching position at my local community college, they are not above going after anyone they feel is a threat to their plans. Their communications director, Ibrahim Hooper has said that he doesn't want anyone to think he does not want sharia in the US in the future, and CAIR has been shown to make up hate crimes to bolster their claim of victimhood for poor, repressed Muslims.

Giving them back their tax-exempt status just gives them the green light to continue their subversive activities, and makes it harder to confront them in their open declaration of jihad against America. Thank you, IRS and Obama. I feel so much better now.

IRS exempts terror front group over tea party

At the same time the Internal Revenue Service delayed or denied requests for tax-exempt status from hundreds of conservative non-profit groups, it was quietly restoring the tax-exempt status of an Islamist front group accused of collaborating with terrorists.

Last year, the politicized agency reinstated the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations’ tax-exempt status despite years of delinquent tax filings. CAIR officials had met with officials inside the White House before the decision was made.
Though Democrat-connected CAIR did not officially endorse Obama, many of its staffers helped turn out the Muslim vote for his re-election. CAIR boasted that its own polling showed more than 85 percent of Muslim-Americans voted for Obama.

In 2011, the IRS stripped the group’s national office of its nonprofit status for failure to file annual tax reports as required by federal law.

The moved followed requests by then-Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., and other congressional leaders asking the IRS to investigate after the 2009 bestseller “Muslim Mafia” called attention to CAIR’s missing IRS filings and foreign donations.
During the years CAIR failed to disclose its donors to the government, it solicited funds from Libya, Sudan and other terror-sponsoring foreign governments, according to “Muslim Mafia.” CAIR is not registered as a foreign agent.

CAIR repeatedly failed to file its annual disclosure report, IRS Form 990. CAIR blames a clerical error for the delinquency and claims to have completed the forms. However, several news organizations, including Politico.com and Gannett Co., have asked CAIR for the 2007-2010 documents, and CAIR has not been able to produce them.

“Given CAIR’s status as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing case, this failure to comply with federal disclosure laws is all the more troubling,” U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf, the co-chairman of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, wrote the IRS in a separate request for investigation in 2011.

CAIR’s terrorist ties run deep. The Justice Department lists it among U.S. front groups for Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization. And several CAIR officials have been convicted or deported on terrorism-related charges.

The FBI says that until suspicious ties between the leadership of CAIR and that of Hamas are resolved, it will no longer work with CAIR as a partner in counter-terrorism efforts.

Despite these red flags, the IRS in June 2012 sent CAIR-Foundation Inc. a letter stating the controversial nonprofit had regained its tax-exempt status as a 501(c)3. At the same time, the IRS demanded tea party and other patriot groups turn over donor rolls, membership lists and contacts with political figures, among other things, before the agency would consider granting tax-exempt status to them.

CAIR Foundation, which is listed at the same 453 New Jersey Ave. address as CAIR’s national headquarters in Washington, told the Washington Post that “all the paperwork issues have been resolved” concerning the organization.

Locks Cut At Aqueduct That Supplies Water To Greater Boston

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) – The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority says someone cut the locks to three hatches at one of its aqueducts in Framingham.

The incident occurred at the Hultman Aqueduct, which is one of the two lines that carry drinking water to the Greater Boston area.

The three padlocks were cut from separate access hatches located at approximately half-mile intervals along the aqueduct. Police say there is evidence of an attempt to cut a fourth lock.

State Police are investigating, though they say “there is no evidence of any crime other than vandalism.”

The MWRA says it doesn’t appear anyone tried to tamper with the water supply and there does not appear to be any contamination or changes in water quality.

Last month, State Police stepped up patrols at public water supplies after seven people were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown.

Those seven were Muslim engineering students, and they were trespassing. At night. Past locked gates.

Judge wants details of Fort Hood suspect's defense strategy before decision on trial delay

FORT HOOD, Texas – A judge says she won't decide whether to delay the Fort Hood shooting suspect's trial until he provides evidence to support his defense strategy — and she might not accept it.

Maj. Nidal Hasan said Tuesday his defense will explain that he killed 13 people in the 2009 shooting rampage because soldiers were about to deploy to Afghanistan. He says he was trying to prevent the imminent death of Taliban fighters.

A "defense of others" strategy requires defendants to prove they killed a person or people to protect others from immediate danger or death.

Hasan, who's representing himself at his murder trial, is seeking a three-month delay. The judge may rule Wednesday, delaying jury selection until at least Monday.

He faces the death penalty or life without parole if convicted.

The bill would make it illegal for Missouri to enforce any foreign law or legal decision deemed “repugnant or inconsistent” with Missouri or U.S. law. It doesn’t specify Islamist Sharia religious law, but it’s part of a movement by conservative lawmakers in more than 20 states who have pushed similar measures to highlight alleged Sharia influences in the U.S.

“There are certainly problems facing our state and nation, but this isn’t one of them,” said Nixon, speaking to families at Lutheran Family and Children’s Services, a major adoption proponent. The bill, he said, could muck up the works for families attempting to adopt through foreign governments: “The laws passed in Jefferson City have real consequences. This bill could jeopardize a family’s ability to adopt children from other countries.”

The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Brian Nieves, R-Washington, scoffed at that explanation for the veto, saying there was nothing in the bill that would have endangered foreign adoptions.

“If he would have said the bill might cause an invasion of flying armadillos, that would have been just as valid,” said Nieves. Five schools in Gaza – two Catholic and three Christian – face closure if the Hamas government follows through on an order forbidding co-educational institutions, according to the director general of Latin Patriarchate Schools in Palestine and Israel.

Fr Faysal Hijazin said: “This will be a big problem. We hope they will not go through with it, but if they do, we will be in big trouble. We don’t have the space and we don’t have the money to divide our schools.”

In addition to finding additional space, he said, the schools face having to hire more teachers. Men and women teachers would not be allowed to teach classes of the opposite sex older than 10 under Islamic law.

“We will never accept this even if we have to close the schools,” Fr Hijazin said.

Drawing caricatures ridiculing Muhammad – as well as Moses and Jesus – should be illegal, MK Ibrahim Sarsour said Tuesday.

The UAL-Ta’al MK submitted legislation on Monday that would outlaw cursing, defaming and publishing pictures or caricatures of holy books and prophets, including Muhammad, Moses and Jesus.

It includes, according to Sarsour, “any offense in any form – speaking, drawing – that harms people’s religious sentiments, whether directly or indirectly.”

Sarsour explained that, although there have not been any offensive caricatures of Muhammad disseminated in Israel recently, he would like to prevent it from occurring in the future. He also pointed out that soccer fans often chant things about Muhammad that are offensive to Muslims.

“There is no difference between religion and a prophet, and a law like this is necessary regardless of whether the phenomenon exists, because it can exist,” he said.

The current law, which outlaws “grossly offending” religions is not strong enough, Sarsour added, and the time has come for the punishment to be greater, in the form of high fines and jail sentences, so it deters people from insulting religion.

Sarsour saw no issue of free speech with the legislation, saying he makes “a clear difference between the right to express opinions and harming religious sentiment. That is a red line, and there is no justification to cross it.”

The bill is unlikely to pass, as it does not have support from any MKs outside of UAL-Ta’al or in the coalition.

Alexandre D, as the French suspect has been called, was arrested in Yvelines, just west of Paris early on Wednesday morning at a friend's flat.
Police are seeking to determine whether the Paris attack might have been inspired by the Islamist murder of a British serviceman in London, although sources told Le Monde newspaper that French intelligence was recently warned the suspect, who converted to Islam around three years ago was "becoming increasingly radical".
The warning came in a note written by the police intelligence unit of the Yvelines area where Alexandre was arrested.
The note provides a fairly detailed account of the suspect's evolution towards a more radical form of Islam since 2009, pointing out that police had remarked he had "suspicious behaviour". Homeless and unemployed, Alexandre D applied for jobs in Rambouillet where he "demanded not to work with women". His passport included stamps from a host of countries.

The suspect also came under scrutiny after a street prayer in 2007 while authorities had his DNA profile on record after a series of petty rimes as a minor.

Detectives identified the suspect thanks to video footage, in which he can be seen praying near the crime scene eight minutes before the attack, as well as buying two knifes an hour before the attack. DNA was also found on items left at the scene in a plastic bag, including a knife and a fruit juice bottle.

"He owned up to the attack" shortly after his arrest, said Paris prosecutor François Molins, who added that he "acted in the name of his religious ideology".

The prosecutor denounced the tall, bearded suspect's "quite clear intention to kill" French serviceman Cédric Cordiez, 23, who was attacked from behind with a "Laguiole-type knife" on Saturday in Paris. He said the suspect had shown "impressive determination" in stabbing his victim "several times", narrowly missing his carotid artery.

In a statement, Manuel Valls, the interior minister, praised the swift arrest, saying an inquiry by anti-terror prosecutors would elucidate "the environment and motivations of this young man".

Mr Cordiez was released from a military hospital on Monday morning and rejoined his unit, military officials said.

There are two videos, watch carefully and listen to the exchanges between the supporters of the Young Republicans who showed the film and the anti-free speech crowd, and notice how the Islamic supremacists use shouting to close the debate. At the end of the second video you will hear first the police telling the film-maker that he is not allowed to film, a direct violation of his constitutional rights because he is in a public space and there is no expectation of privacy, there fore he is allowed by law to film. Second, listen to the young man calling himself a socialist and condemning the film as hate speech.

Oregon has been low on the list of states dealing with Islam and juhadists, Pete Seda and Muhammad Muhamud the obvious exceptions, but overall we have been relatively unaffected by the turmoil. Now we see another level of Islamic hatred towards truth and free speech, not surprisingly on a college campus. PSU, as well as UofO and OSU have had in the past "Anti-Apartheid Week" events, demonizing Israel and upholding the refugees as victims of Jewish "occupation" in order to propagandize their cause. No one ever stops them from their hate-filled week, yet they can, with seeming impunity close down speech they find offensive or insulting, and the authorities do nothing to uphold the constitutional liberties given to all of us.

Lawyer: UK envoys sought suspect release in Kenya

MOMBASA, Kenya -- British diplomats recommended that a British man detained in Kenya 2 1/2 years ago on suspicion of attempting to join Islamic fighters in Somalia be freed, the lawyer who represented him said Thursday. The man was let go and last week allegedly helped butcher a British soldier on the streets of London.

Michael Adebolajo's lawyer, Wycliffe Makasembo, said a letter from the British High Commission in Nairobi recommended that the man be released because there was no tangible evidence to link him to the crime.

"They noted that the suspects had not yet crossed over to Somalia and thus, there was no cause to charge them," Makasembo told a reporter.

Rosemary Mutoka, the magistrate who presided over the case in Kenya's port city of Mombasa, ruled that there was no clear information about the circumstances and what Adebolajo and other suspects were found doing that led to the police arresting them.

Court records examined by a reporter on Thursday show Adebolajo was arrested on Nov. 21, 2010, with eight others on suspicion that they were trying to cross over to Somalia to join al-Shabab militants. Adebolajo was arraigned in the court on Nov. 23, 2010. The court granted the Anti-terrorism Police Unit officers two days to interrogate him, the court records show, but it is not clear when he was released.

However, a statement on Tuesday by the Foreign Commonwealth Office in London suggests Adebolajo may have been deported.

"There is an established procedure for returning foreign nationals to the UK from overseas. Individuals arrested abroad and not facing charges there are usually put on the next available flight by authorities of that country," the statement said.

John Bradshaw, spokesman for the British High Commission in Nairobi, referred queries on whether it had written a letter recommending Adebolajo's release to the Foreign Office in London. When asked about the issue, Britain's Foreign Office confirmed that a British national was arrested in Kenya in 2010 and that the Foreign Office had "provided consular assistance as normal" for U.K. nationals. The court file examined by a reporter does not currently contain any letter from the British High Commissioner's office.

Adebolajo is a key suspect in the brazen killing of off-duty soldier Lee Rigby, 25, who was slain by two men wielding knives and meat cleavers near his barracks in southeast London's Woolwich area. The two suspects were shot by police and arrested on suspicion of murder.

Courts files show that Adebolajo and others were arrested in 2010 at Kizingitini village, on Pate Island in the Lamu archipelago. An affidavit sworn by Stephen Hamisi from the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit claimed that investigations had indicated that the suspects were heading to Somalia before being intercepted.

Kenyan police believed Adebolajo, a British citizen, had earlier associated with a radical Kenyan Muslim cleric who tried to help him join al-Shabab, an al-Qaida-linked rebel group in Somalia. Muslim cleric Aboud Rogo Mohammed, who was gunned down in August by unidentified gunmen in Mombasa, helped Adebolajo in his attempt to travel to Somalia to wage jihad, or holy war...

She was held by officers outside the Canterbury Street mosque as Kent Police vowed to take a hard line against reprisal attacks following the terrorist murder of a soldier.

The woman has now been released on police bail ahead of an appearance at Medway Magistrates' Court at a date to be confirmed.

She and her husband had been enjoying a KFC lunch at a nearby restaurant before the couple waiting at a bus stop opposite the religious building.

Her husband had started wandering off down the road, but managed to get back to the van before his wife was taken to the police station.

(Reuters) - A French soldier patrolling a business neighborhood west of Paris was stabbed in the neck and injured on Saturday by a man who fled the scene and is being sought by police, President Francois Hollande said.

The 23-year-old was patrolling in uniform with two other soldiers as part of France's Vigipirate anti-terror surveillance plan when he was approached from behind around 6 p.m. and attacked with a knife or a box-cutter.

A police union spokesman said surveillance footage of the attacker showed him as tall and bearded, aged about 35, possibly of North African origin and wearing a white Arab-style tunic.

Hollande, in the Ethiopian city of Addis Ababa, commented on the stabbing to say police were hunting for the attacker but did not provide any details about his identity or any possible motivation for the attack.

"We still don't know the exact circumstances of the attack or the identity of the attacker, but we are exploring all options," Hollande told journalists.

Three days after a British soldier was killed in a London street by two men who said they acted to avenge violence against Muslims, the attack near Paris raised questions about a possible copycat attempt to kill a French soldier.

Interior Minister Manuel Valls noted the similarity in an interview onFrance 2 TV saying the attacker was clearly trying to murder his victim, but he added that it was too early to offer any theories.

"Let's be prudent for now," Valls said of the attacker's identity and motivations. "Everything is being done to arrest this individual."

Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told journalists near the site of the attack: "The soldier was attacked because he is a soldier."

UK police arrest 3 more men in soldier's slaying

British police investigating the savage killing of an off-duty soldier in London have arrested three more suspects.

Scotland Yard said counter-terrorism officers arrested two men, aged 24 and 28, at a residential address in southeast London.

A third man, 21, was arrested separately on a London street at the same time.

Police said Saturday they used a stun gun on two of the suspects. All three were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Officers have already detained four others in connection with the murder of 25-year-old soldier Lee Rigby, who was stabbed to death while walking outside the Royal Artillery Barracks in the Woolwich, south London, on Wednesday afternoon.

Counterterrorism police on Saturday were questioning Abu Nusaybah, a friend of Michael Adebolajo, one of two suspects in the killing of Rigby. Nusaybah was arrested immediately after he gave a television interview telling his story about how Adebolajo came to be radicalized.

In the interview, Nusaybah said Adebolajo became withdrawn after returning from a visit to study in Kenya, where he claimed he had been physically and sexually abused in detention. Nusaybah also alleged that the U.K.'s security services tried to recruit Adebolajo after he returned to Britain.

Adebolajo and another man are suspected of killing Rigby, hacking at his body with knives and a meat cleaver, on a London street in front of dozens of passersby on Wednesday afternoon. Both suspects were shot by police at the scene and are hospitalized under guard in stable condition.

The BBC said Nusaybah was arrested by police outside its studios Friday night immediately after recording the interview.

"This interviewee had important background information that sheds light on this horrific event," the broadcaster said in a statement. "And when we asked him to appear and interviewed him, we were not aware he was wanted for questioning by the police."

Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested Friday night in London on suspicion of "the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism." He is in custody at a London police station, police said, adding that the arrest was not directly related to the killing of Rigby.

DOD: Ft. Hood Massacre Likely 'Criminal Act of Single Individual,' Not International Terror

It took just hours for England's Prime Minister to say a gruesome knife and cleaver attack on a serviceman in London was likely an act of terrorism. In the U.S., more than three years since a much deadlier domestic assault on American troops -- the 2009 Fort Hood massacre that claimed 13 lives, including that of a pregnant soldier -- a top Army attorney maintains that incident was likely a "criminal act of a single individual."

"...[T]he available evidence in this case does not, at this time, support a finding that the shooting atFort Hood was an act of international terrorism," Lt. Gen. Dana Chipman said this week in a letter to Rep. Thomas Rooney (R-Fla.) on behalf of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

The letter, obtained by ABC News, was apparently written in response to an inquiry from Rooney, Rep. Chaka Fatta (D-Penn.), and Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Virg.) sent to Hagel on May 6, which questioned whether concerns of "political correctness" informed the Army's decision to refer to the Fort Hood attack as an act of "workplace violence." Victims of the shooting have long maintained that calling the attack "workplace violence" instead of "combat related" or an act of terrorism has had a massive impact on the benefits and treatment they've received.

In the case of the London attack, two men armed with a handgun, a meat cleaver and a knife aresuspected of brutally murdering a lone serviceman, who was out of uniform, in broad daylight Wednesday. They stuck around after the attack and one of the suspects was caught on video telling a passerby he did what he did "because Muslims are dying by British soldiers every day."

In the Fort Hood attack, Maj. Nidal Hasan stands accused of gunning down 13 soldiers and injuring 32 others in November 2009. After the assault, investigators uncovered evidence that Hasan was in communication with al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki prior to the attack. Al-Awlaki was apparently such a threat that he has been the only American citizen ever targeted for a drone strike -- though three others have been collateral damage, according to President Obama.

In both cases, witnesses reportedly said the alleged attackers shouted "Allahu Akbar," "God is Great" in Arabic, amid the chaos.

As reflected in Chipman's letter, the Department of Defense has consistently said that in addition to a supposed lack of evidence, it would be irresponsible to call the Fort Hood attack "terrorism" because it "may have a negative impact on the ongoing judicial process" for Hasan.

The letter also denied that the Defense Department had made a decision to classify the attack as "workplace violence" and said, "[N]o benefit has been denied to any of the victims based on any such classification" -- two claims to which the survivors object stringently.

Kimberly Munley, a police officer who was hailed as a hero for her role in stopping the alleged Fort Hood shooter, told ABC News Chipman's letter is "disgraceful" and "another direct slap in the face." Attorneys for Munley and most of the other Fort Hood victims called the letter's claims "counterfactual" and an "insult."

An attorney for several of the victims, Reed Rubinstein, said the Army's new letter is "worse than word games."

"The 'workplace violence' classification has been out there for years, and [the Army] has never walked it back," he said.

Woolwich attack: Michael Adebowale's mother 'tried to prevent radicalisation'

Michael Adebowale, the 22-year-old son of a Christian probation officer and a member of staff at the Nigerian High Commission, was filmed holding a bloodied cleaver in his hand after Drummer Lee Rigby was butchered in a London street.
Friends said he had been a “lovely boy” but became involved in some “serious trouble” as a teenager and then turned to Islam. He started mixing with some “bad people” and became increasingly extreme in his views.
His mother Juliet Obasuyi, a 43-year-old probation officer, went to her friend and neighbour, a 62-year-old security officer, for help about nine months ago after her son dropped out of university.
She told him: “Michael is not listening any more. His older sister is a good Christian with a degree but Michael is rebelling as he has no father figure, dropping out of university and handing out leaflets in Woolwich town centre.
“He is from a strong Christian family but he is turning to Islam and turning against the family. He is preaching in the streets. He needs spiritual guidance before he radicalises himself.”

Where would he get the idea that as a Muslim he needed to shun Christians? The Qur'an, perhaps?

Another friend, Steve Adebiyi, who started a company with Mrs Obasuyi, said she was often left in tears after speaking to him on the phone. “The boy was giving the mother problems,” he said. “She said he was in with some bad group and causing a lot of trouble. They brainwashed him.”

He and Michael Adebolajo, the other suspected terrorist, are thought to have met at Greenwich University.

His mother was advised by a neighbour to take him to the head of the Woolwich mosque for spiritual guidance. He was converted to Islam by the head Imam, and taken for weeks of "further training" at a centre near Cambridge.

When he returned, however, he was even more "radicalised" and his mother could no longer "get through to him". A spokesman for the mosque said they did not know if he attended or been converted there.

Wait, the mosque that was supposed to turn him against jihad actually reinforced the notion of jihad as legitimate? Is anyone asking questions of this mosque, and if not, why not?
