What can I say about Dragona Philippines?

Yesterday, Gameclub Philippines started their CBT or what they called "Pre Beta" on their latest installment Dragona. This game was announced many months ago and was delayed almost 2 months since it has been announced before that the schedule for it's CBT is May, yesterday July 28, 2011 they started their first phase of testing.

For me this game is quite good in some other terms but it's other features are quite similar to other MMO's out there. I never even bothered to join the CBT since I am not interested and I am now currently waiting for Dragon's Nest SEA OBT. As i checked on their facebook fanpage, all i see are players shouting they have problems of the client hours before server opening, they said they cannot complete the hackshield update, d3dx9_31.dll is missing, and many more errors that I never experienced in other MMO's during CBT and these so called GM's doesn't even bother to help these helpless noobies on what to do. I mean come on, fixing a direct x file is just as simple as copy and paste you morons, get the missing dll online and paste it on your system32 folder and you're done. I am not quite an expert here but the solutions of these problems are quite too easy, it won't take you even 10 minutes to solve it.

I mean what is the meaning of this, are the people of Gameclub so incompetent compared to other gaming publishers like the one who hosted Dragon Nest in Singapore 2 weeks ago.

Let me tell you guys, when DN SEA started 2 weeks ago, the delay was only an hour or so because of the heavy traffic most of the players can't log in but after that everything went smoothly for 7 straight days, no downtime, no errors, no people shouting complains and stuff and the people that pose themselves sa GM's really know their stuff. We asked them a lot of questions on things we already know since I played DN China for many months and they answered correctly and helped a lot of people.

Based on what I observed Dragona is still no different from many games published here in the Philippines, almost everything are quite short lived, the service sucks, technical support sucks, the GM's doesn't know shit, and all they are after is money and profit. It's ok if these companies only care about profit but they should take good care of the players, hire competent technical support team, get useful GM's not those model look alike since most of them doesn't know shit and doesn't even have the heart to play MMO's.

I also noticed a link on their forum that they say is the guide to download the client, i mean they can't even make a decent guide on how to download the client, most of the links are dead, and even the guide is messed up. I mean how did you get in that job GM Xyn, you don't know shit.

Let's see in a couple of days what will happen to them.

Dragon's Nest China

A few days ago Shanda Games International announced that they are accepting 10,000 accounts for CBT but sadly I did not get mine so a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to play Dragon's Nest China instead. I said why not since open beta is coming and come to think of it it's a way to prepare for the Global release or the SEA release if there is one.

I found a guide on which how to register, how to download and install since most of us including me can't read Chinese to this guide is quite helpful. If you installed and patched before the latest update just recopy the english patch back and it will translate everything back to english.

How to Fix Darksiders' Gray Fog Bug

I tried to install this game a few days ago but I noticed that when I tried to play it all I see is my character and a small round area around it's feet and nothing else except a impenetrable gray fog so you can't see where you're going and even the enemies are not visible. I tried to see what the problem is so I tried a different installer ranging from Skidrow to TPTB but still nothing so I suspected that there must be something wrong with my system, probably my videocard which is Nvidia 7300 GTO.

So here's what I found, my videocard doesn't support Shader Model 3 or SM3 but I found a solution. Just follow the steps below:

1. Go to http://www.tommti-systems.de/go.html?http://www.tommti-systems.com/main-Dateien/files.html and download 3D Analyzer.
2. Run it and look for your Darksiders.exe
3.Select Force High Precision Shader.
4. Run it and start Darksiders.

Gaming Experience in Cebu

Some people say especially my parents that computer gaming is bad for you or you won't get anything out of it, some even say it is a vice but nowadays those things they say have proven them wrong. I have been all over Cebu and everywhere I look, I see gamers of different ages, of different genders, try to compete with other teams to prove to them and to others that they are the best of their respective gaming fields.

If you're a gamer, pro or not you probably heard of DoTA or Defense of the Ancients, a mod for Warcraft III and now is very popular all over Cebu. If you're a DoTA fan you probably heard of teams competing for almost a hundred thousand pesos per 3 games, yes you heard it right 100k for a few hours of gaming, if you don't believe me go to Latos facebook page since they are the ones who are battling other teams for fame and glory. These guys have won many DoTA tournaments here in Cebu against local and players from Mindanao as well. These guys have skills that are "beyond Godlike" if you know what I mean.

Aside from PC gaming, Cebuanos are also well adapted when it comes to console games, especially fighting games like Tekken. I have a lots of friends who gather every weekened at one of my friend's house to play Tekken and afterwards they go to SM or E-Mall to beat other Tekken players there and they also participate in yearly Tekken tournaments. I usually call my friends Tekkenlords because they are so good at it. My boss who is a tekkenlord as well visited SM Mall of Asia last year to play Tekken and the people there are amazed by his skills and they asked him where is he from and he's proud to say that he is from Cebu.

Gaming nowadays is not just an ordinary hobby for some of us, gaming has evolved from a vice just like my mom told me to a hobby and now a totally new lifestyle and for some it is a sport where fame and glory can be achieved by the best of the best.

Fallout New Vegas

You've heard it, the guys from Bethesda has done it again. At first I was skeptical about this game because I am quite new at this type of genre, a western action RPG. I tried playing Fallout 3 but I didn't get to finish that game because I was not quite attracted to it but Fallout New Vegas has captured me somehow.

As I go deeper into the game I noticed how complex and diverse this game is and the best thing about this game is you can do almost anything on how you do things on the game and how to do your quest. You can be the baddest mean man on the Mojave wasteland or you can be the true hero of this post apocalyptic world. Everything you do affects everything on the game later on and you can get killed by just stealing a few scraps on the freaking garbage can. Your reputation from every faction like the NCR, the Legion, the Powder Gangers, and even the locals affect everything you do to them like conversations, market price, and hostility. When they like you they are

One thing that makes this game stand from other action RPG's like Borderlands is it's karma system, this makes everything you do like stealing, murdering innocent people, pickpocketing makes you lose karma while helping others let's you earn karma. This game also let's you craft things on your own like ammunitions, guns, healing items like stimpak, and you can also gather stuff from plants which either you can use to heal or used to craft other items.

Unlike Fallout 3 you can now add weapon modifications on almost all guns that are available in new vegas like adding scopes on rifles, increasing magazine size, increasing the rate of fire of weapons, adding durability of weapons, laser beam splitters, silencers, and much more, you can also recruit other NPC's to join you in your quest and you can control them using the companion wheel which you can control how they react during a situation either in combat or not. You can also let your companions carry some stuff for you if your weight capacity is at max and in addition to that, your companion gives you an additional perk.

This game has also a Hardcore mode which is a lot tougher than the standard gameplay. As gameplay difficulty is increased, players are encouraged to implement effective strategies, make careful considerations in resource management and combat tactics, and pay high attention to the surrounding environment. Gameplay difficulty is increased in several ways: stimpaks and other healing items including food do not heal the player instantly, but work over a period of time; the healing of crippled limbs requires a "Doctor's Bag", or alternatively a visit to a doctor; ammunition has weight and the player character must eat, drink and sleep to avoid starvation, dehydration and exhaustion.

For those who have problems with authenticating their IP's maybe you get that because of your account. I am a early beta tester and maybe that's why I can still get in the game.

Bypass Vindictus IP Block

To all beta testers that are unlucky, those living outside the US and Canada, here's the solution to your problem. At first when I tried to connect I got an error message that says disconnected to server so I did a little research and I found out that Nexon is blocking other countries and Vindictus is kinda exclusive to US and Canada only.

So without further adieu, I found this on the net somewhere and used to bypass the IP block for Maple Story and I tried it on Vindictus and it worked like a charm.

Just follow the simple steps below:

1. Download the aol desktop 9.5 here

2. After downloading install it, follow the installation instuctions.

3.

When asked for the connect options, click advanced broadband settings

After clicking the advanced broadband settings, click add a broadband profile

name your profile vindictus since you are playing vindictus

on the connection type, select Home Network on the list then click save

7. Log in using your aol account.

8. run vindictus and enjoy

For months I have been waiting for it's release now it's finally here, Starcraft II Wings of Liberty, the sequel to StarCraft the award winning game back in 1998. Actually I don't need to explain what this game is, everybody that ever stepped into the gaming world has known about it and RTS gamers have been waiting for it ever since.

Now this game is awesome by all means, that's all I can say. This release allows you to play the terran campaign with Jim Raynor as the protagonist, as you do missions to earn cash to buy units and upgrades above the ship Hyperion.

If you want to try out the campaign you can download reloaded's release here:

This release work's perfectly just fine if you want to play the campaign and try the StarCraft II editor but if you want the play multiplayer then you need to purchase this game and you must have a battlenet account.

Hamachi Causes Problems Connecting Garena (DoTA)

Recently I noticed a problem regarding several units on the cafe where i maintained that cannot play shop to shop on Garena and this have been a common problem among gaming cafe's. So we tried to see what causes this problem since this doesn't happen before. A few months earlier, everyone can enjoy 5 on 5 shop to shop game until morning without any problems.

This is what we've found out. After we changed our IP address from static to dynamic, the hamachi that was installed for Left4Dead, causes the problem and confuses the network since hamachi is configured to be static and the router is set to dynamic IP addresses. This causes the problem of only 3 people connecting on a same garena room at the same time.

Solution: Disable Hamachi if you have hamachi installed when you are using dynamic IP address so you can connect to garena properly and enjoy DoTA 5 on 5 S2S.

Resident Evil 5

From CAPCOM, the creators of the ground breaking Resident Evil series comes the latest installment of the long running survival horror series, Resident Evil 5. Like it's predecessor, RE4, this one still retains the intense gameplay and with enhanced graphics this game totally owns.

I've been waiting to play this game since this was posted on Gamespot and now it's finally here, one thing that sets this game apart from Resident Evil 4 is in this game you are not playing alone, with you is your partner, Sheva Alomar which is controlled by AI or controlled by another player using LAN or online. Unlike Ashley of Resident Evil 4 which is the president's daughter that Leon Kennedy rescues which literally slows you down and gives a lot of hard time in game, but your partner in Resident Evil 5 is kinda unique because she can handle a brawl by herself, just give her a shotgun and a few ammo then she's good to go.

One thing that is frustrating about the AI controls of Sheva is that she literally shoots everything she sees, no ammo conservation or anything, she even fires at enemies even when I am in her line of sight, wasting bullets on me instead. But aside from the fault, she is kinda handy around, she's good at when using machineguns and she's also good with rifles. The best thing about her is that she will automatically heal me when I'm injured critically so I let her keep all the first aid sprays and herbs. It's really nice to have a decent healer at your side when you're sorrounded by swarms of enemies stabbing and biting you from left to right.

This game they say moved itself out from the survival-horror genre to another game level, which is kinda good as long as it retains the tension of playing Resident Evil eversince the first installment so my advice to other gamers out there, if you want to buy a good game that you won't regret after you bought it, try this one.

The game begins as Chris Redfield is deployed to Kijuju, Africa, to join Sheva Alomar and apprehend Ricardo Irving, who is attempting to sell a bio-organic weapon on the black market. Along the way, they witness a local being fed a parasite, which quickly takes control of his body, turning him into a Majini. From here on, almost all Kijuju locals seen by Chris and Sheva have been turned into Majini. While moving to the location of Irving's deal, Chris and Sheva find Alpha team dead, except Captain DeChant, who gives them a hard drive containing data about Irving before he dies. As the duo progress, a friendly helicopter is downed, and all nearby BSAA units are ordered to go to the crash site. At the crash site, the duo is ambushed by Majini on motorcycles, but are then saved by Delta team. Among Delta team is Josh Stone, Sheva's mentor who gives Chris data from a hard drive that contains a picture of Jill Valentine, his old partner, who was presumed dead after a confrontation with Albert Wesker. Chris does not tell Sheva about the image and they continue, and eventually confront Irving. During this confrontation, a hooded figure arrives to aid Irving's escape. Irving leaves behind files which indicate that an oil field in the Marshlands, which was used to test out bio-organic weapons, is the actual deal location, the previously suspected one having been a hoax to slow the BSAA while the actual deal was taking place. The duo report this to headquarters, then attempts to regroup with Delta team. Upon arriving at the rendezvous point, they find that Delta team has also been killed by a bio-organic weapon, but Sheva cannot find Josh among them. After defeating the bio-weapon, Sheva suggests reporting back to HQ, being the two sole survivors, but Chris admits to Sheva his true reason for participating in the mission, and expresses his determination in finding out if Jill is still alive. After a brief argument, Sheva concludes that they are partners, and she will help him all the way. They continue on to the Marshlands, eventually finding Josh alive. They pursue Irving on a boat, but he escapes again and the oil field is blown up while the two escape with Josh on a speedboat. The trio locate and catch up to Irving's boat, and Chris and Sheva board it. Irving confronts the duo, and then injects himself with a virus, which causes him to mutate into a gigantic beast. Chris and Sheva defeat the mutated Irving, who is detached from the gigantic beast body, and upon death, he tells Chris that he will find answers to his questions in a nearby cave.

Upon arriving in the cave, Josh leaves the pair in order to report to HQ. The cavern leads Chris and Sheva to the underground kingdom of the Ndipaya tribe. Upon exploration, the duo find an underground base, one of the first to be set up by Umbrella, but currently operated by Tricell. Chris and Sheva find evidence and documentation that the Progenitor virus, which is the component in both the T- and G-virus that controls a subject's body, was found and manufactured here. The Progenitor virus was manufactured from a plant residing in the Ndipaya kingdom, called the Stairway to the Sun. The plant was used in Ndipayan ceremonies, but Ozwell Spencer took interest in it, and drove the Ndipaya out to build a base and study the plant, which eventually yielded the Progenitor virus. Chris and Sheva progress through the underground laboratory, and find a massive chamber with thousands of capsules containing human test subjects. The facility is documented in one of the hard drives, so Chris searches the computer database for an entry about Jill. The elevator takes them to the capsule in which Jill was being held, while they defeat the bio-organic weapon, U-8. The capsule opens, but it is empty. Excella Gionne then appears on a computer screen and warns them to leave. The duo later intercepts a radio transmission of Excella talking to Wesker, indicating Wesker's survival. Sheva and Chris confront Excella, but she infects a test subject with the Uroboros virus, which turns him into a bio-weapon. After killing it, the two pursue Excella, eventually catching up to her. When interrogating Excella, Chris and Sheva are attacked by the hooded figure who aided Irving's escape. Wesker then reveals himself and unmasks the hooded figure, Jill, who is hostile and fights alongside Wesker. After a short fight, Wesker escapes and the duo are left to battle Jill. They spot a device on Jill's chest, which they remove. Jill then regains control of her body, apologizes for her actions and urges Chris and Sheva to pursue Wesker. Chris, who is reluctant to leave Jill, grudgingly agrees.

Chris and Sheva and emerge on the surface. They spot Wesker and Excella boarding a cargo ship, and follow. On the ship, the two find Excella, but she escapes, dropping a case of full syringes, which Sheva collects. Meanwhile, Wesker reminisces about a confrontation with Spencer, who tells Wesker that he is the only surviving subject from the "Wesker Plan," which was an attempt to create the ideal human being for Spencer's envisioned utopia. Spencer fantasizes about being the god of this utopia and Wesker impales him, declaring, "The right to be a god? That right is now mine."

Chris reflects on what he's fighting for in the game's final cinematic.

Meanwhile, Chris and Sheva progress, and find a pile of corpses, Excella amidst them in pain. Wesker implies over an intercom system that Excella has been infected with Uroboros. Suddenly, Uroboros erupts from Excella's mouth, consuming her body and absorbing the others. Chris and Sheva escape, regroup, and use a satellite laser on the cargo ship to defeat the giant Uroboros monster. They continue to pursue Wesker, whom they spot over a surveillance monitor about to board a bomber that, if shot down, would infect the entire world with the Uroboros virus. Jill then calls Chris and tells him that Wesker's strength is the result of a potentially unstable virus and that he must regularly inject a serum in precise amounts to maintain his power. Before losing connection, Jill implies that an overdose of this drug, which Excella always carried in a suitcase by her, would likely act as a poison. Sheva then discovers that the serum is in one of the syringes she collected from Excella. The two find Wesker, restrain him, and inject him with the serum. He escapes onto the bomber, and the duo pursue him. After a short confrontation with Wesker, Chris deactivates the bomber, which plummets into a volcano. Before they crash, however, Sheva shoots Wesker off the bomber, into the volcano below. Chris and Sheva, now in the volcano, discover that Wesker survived and he infects himself with Uroboros. They defeat the infected Wesker, who falls into the lava. A helicopter appears over the horizon, manned by Josh and Jill, and Chris and Sheva board it. Every month I think there are many new MMORPG's released and this one from Korea was just released last month and it is still on OBT or open beta. The English version was released last July 2. When you are looking for a fresh and cute F2P MMORPG then this one is for you.

Some say this game has a system similar to Ragnarok 2 and when I take a look at it, it certainly does. From the cute characters to a beautiful game environment this game certainly deserves some attention.

In my place where I worked, this game was first played by a Korean friend of mine, Babo and after a week, all the guys who played Rohan Online started to play Luna. I was kinda surprised how quickly the tides have turned. You must try it for yourself to experience the fun of Luna.

Remember this, not all Pay to Play games are worth every penny, sometimes you must find an alternative game out there that can satisfy your online alter ego, just look around and you'll see but I can only say that this one is definitely worth the try.

How to connect to scapegaming's new Wrath of the Lich King Server

Whew after hours of scouring the web on how to connect to the new Scapegaming's World of Warcraft's expansion I have finally found it. My mistake before is that the version of the game was higher that's why I can't connect to them but luckily i found a few tips on the net regarding the right version which is 3.0.9. If you have lower version or a higher one the game won't work trust me.

So to all people who still have the lower version of the game from the old burning crusade all you have to do is

1. Click on the launcher icon which is located on the same folder as the wow.exe.

2. After clicking it will download patches and stuff. You must let it download and install updates until you get to the right version which is 3.0.9.

3. Once you have the right version you must delete the WTF folder and the cache folder located on your wow folder.

4. After that look for the realmlist.wtf file on your wow folder and edit it using notepad. Delete everything on it and set the realmlist to logon.scapegaming.com just like the old realmlist.

5. Try to run the wow.exe or you can use the WSL launcher provided on their website.

I managed to make this guide since their website is under construction or something and there is no proper guide on how to connect.

Hope this helps and you can ask me if you have any problems on connecting.

It looks like the concepts and game controls from different online games like World of Warcraft, Atlantica, and Silkroad are collected and implemented ZX, that's how i see it for playing a couple of hours.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising

Woot now that's what I've been talkin about, a new expansion for Red Alert 3 and now here it comes. As I have seen in the trailer looks like each team has its own cards to play in this one.

11 more units are available for use in this expansion in each team 4 for the allies, 4 for the russians, and 3 for the empire. These units are the Pacifier FAV, Cry-Legionnaire, Harbinger Gunship, and Future Tank X-1 for the Allies, Desolator Trooper, Grinder, Reaper, Mortar Cycle for the Russians, and lastly Steel Ronin, Archer maiden, and Giga Fortress for the Empire. As I have seen, these new units are so cool especially the steel ronins, a melee unit that can attack multiple targets using their polearms, kinda unique.

New Units:

Russia ( Soviet Barbarians)

Grinder - A amphibious heavy armored unit that lacks conventional weapons but can literally crush units and buildings in its way.

Desolator Trooper - A heavy armored units that packs poisonous concoctions on its back to spray on enemy units. This unit was in Red Alert 2 and still by the Soviets.

Reaper

Allies ( Future Tech ) Sure it takes courage and determination but it also takes cutting edge technology.

Harbinger Gunship - A ground support aircraft that can obliterate units on the ground because it is armed with the latest weapon technology made by Future Tech.

Cryo Legionnaire

Pacifier FAV - An amphibious vehicle that is heavily armed and can blast enemies from long range.

Giga Fortress - Probably the most powerful weapon ever created by the Empire.

Steel Ronin - A mechanical unit that is armed with polearms that can attack multiple targets in one slash.

Wow this is kinda shocking, World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King was one of the greatest MMORPG games ever created and has the most players worldwide was been placed on number 2 on the UC PC charts as of March 1 - 7. Staying on top is the RTS game Empire Total War.

Sega and Creative Assembly's Empire: Total War made a dominant debut, as the standard edition topped NPD's chart while the collector's package slotted in at seventh. Perhaps riding the introduction of two new playable classes, Mythic Entertainment's Warhammer Online surged from nowhere to third, appearing just behind Blizzard's perennial chart-topper World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

THQ and Relic Entertainment continued their strong sales run with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II securing fifth, having been edged out by The Sims 2 Double Deluxe. The Sims Carnival: Bumper Blast replaced SnapCity from a week prior, landing in the sixth position, while Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Uprising posted an eighth-place debut. Blizzard's WOW and WOW: Battle Chest rounded out the week's chart.

Metal Gear Solid on iPhone?

Way back in 2007 it was said by Konami's North American and European operations head that Metal Gear Solid 4 should go multi-platform but I never thought it would go this far. Late last year, all the rumors were confirmed that it is true.

Now you guys can play as solid snake itself on your iPhone and iPod touch for only $7.99 dollars. Players can flick the screen left or right to move Snake, tap to fire weapons, or "pinch" the screen to zoom in and out with the sniper rifle. In addition to following Snake on his last mission, players will earn Drebin points that they can spend to unlock dozens of iPhone wallpapers.

Some people think that the idea was dumb itself and this game was supposed to be kept on upper platforms not on portable ones but it is still a nice game though and a must have for solid snake fans.

Resident Evil 5 Released

RE fans this is it, the one that we've been waiting for, the sequel of RE4. I have tried playing the PC version of RE4 and it was awesome. I just love the intense and eerie atmosphere the game brings, it stunning graphics and nice gameplay.

This sequel is definitely great and I can't wait for the PC version to be released on June 2009.

Gameplay:

Resident Evil 5 features similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4. The player(s) control Chris Redfield and/or Sheva Alemor, similarly to how the player controlled Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4,^[7] with the same over-the-shoulder perspective.^[8] The game's environment plays a significant role.^[7] The Mercenaries minigame, which was featured in both Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4, is also in Resident Evil 5.^[9] As of launch, the multiplayer in the mini-game was offline only, but a launch day patch gave the game online multi-player. ^[10]

The game features new types of enemies called "Maniji", meaning evil spirit in Swahili.^[11] The game's enemies possess human-like intelligence and awareness. Furthermore, they are different from the previous ganados.^[7] The number of weapon variations has been greatly increased compared to the previous games in the series. Requisites such as handguns and shotguns also return.^[12]

The game features some online elements.^[13] Resident Evil 5's main story mode can be played with two players, in a co-operative online mode. The feature will allow players to enter or leave anytime during the game. Players will not always stick together, and can be separated at points during the gameplay.^[9] An offline co-op mode is also in the game with the same co-op experience offered by the online co-op mode, only with two local players controlling the action in split screen.^[14]

Story

Chris drives into Africa and is immediately greeted by Sheva Alemor, who agrees to accompany him. The two rendezvous with a butcher who tells them to locate a man named Irving. Along the way, the two see someone get fed a strange object which turns him into a super-zombie. Throughout the game, the zombies are like this, along with being agile and intelligent. After some time, the two watch the butcher's execution. As the two fight through the crowd, Kirk saves them by blowing open the way. As they progress, the two find a woman get attacked and infected, whom they defeat after seeing a Las Plagas explode from her head like in Resident Evil 4. While attempting to locate Irving, the two find the Alpha team dead except one man who is mortally wounded but manages to give them data on a hard drive. Irving is nowhere to be seen. The two kill the monster who took out Alpha team shortly after. From the player's point of view, Irving is seen in a car with a hooded figure.

Chris and Sheva contact HQ to see if there is a mission update after Alpha team's demise, however the mission stands. As they progress, the two encounter a maniac with a chainsaw. The two locate Kirk's burnt body impaled on top of his helicopter and are attacked. Delta team arrive just in time to kill the two's attackers. Among Delta team is Josh Stone. Josh was the one who trained Sheva. He gives Chris the data from the hard drive, and Chris sees a picture of Jill Valentine and has a flashback of her supposed death. After some time, the two find Irving. However, the hooded figure arrives just in time to aid his escape. The two find, amidst Irving's files, pictures of an oil field in the marshlands. They start going there before being attacked by a monster. After the two defeat the monster, a delta team operative arrives in a car and signals the two in. After they escape by car, they are attacked by a beard El Gigante and the delta team operative is crushed.

After killing the monster, the two reminisce on how difficult the mission is. Chris tells Sheva of Jill and the picture from the data file. Chris's personal stake is therefore locating Jill (who he now presumes as alive), and Sheva's is that it is her people who are dying. Chris flashes back; he talks about how the two were tipped off where Spencer was and that he would lead them to Wesker. However, the two find Wesker, and attack him. However, Wesker is far too agile and evades every feeble attempt at killing him. While Wesker chokes Chris, Jill intervenes and pushes Wesker out the window along with herself off a cliff. As the two pass the oil field and find Josh alone. The three are attacked by zombies, and manage to escape. Josh parts from them and tells them that Irving is at a dock up ahead. The two find Irving on a boat, but Irving escapes and the oil field is blown up. The two escape with Josh on a speedboat. The three are attacked again, during the escape and through mist, crash into Irving's boat unintentionally. Irving has a flashback of the hooded figure forcing him to take an injection. Chris and Sheva board the boat, but sees Irving inject himself and turn into a giant monster, which the two soon defeat. As Irving dies, he tells the two to go into a cave nearby to "get answers".

Josh once again leaves the two. While journeying through the cave, by the player's point of view, Excella, Wesker and the hooded figure have a meeting where Excella injects Wesker. Wesker has a flashback of killing Spencer, which explains why he was at the Spencer Estate when Chris and Jill infiltrated it. Chris and Sheva locate a bed of flowers which are surviving underground. They also find equipment with the Umbrella logo and Tricell logo on them. They wonder whether the two are working together. Tricell is the company who funds the BSAA. The two progress through a laboratory with Lickers and find a massive chamber with thousands upon thousands of capsules with bodies in them. These capsules look similar to the picture of Jill, so Chris searches the computer database successfully. The elevator automatically takes them to Jill's capsule. However, while trying to get to Jill's capsule, they are attacked by another giant monster which they kill. The capsule slowly approaches them and opens, and reveals an empty capsule. The computer screen shows Excella Gionne, who appears to know about Jill's location. The two intercept a radio transmission of Excella talking to "Albert", and thence Chris discovers that Wesker is alive.

The two encounter a monster which they presume as Uroboros from Excella's words. Excella explains that Uroboros is of evolution. A kind of philosopher's stone. After defeating the monster, the two find Excella and the hooded figure. The hooded figure attacks them and has the same agility as Wesker. Wesker reveals himself and he in turn unmasks the hooded figure. The hooded figure turns out to be Jill Valentine. Jill appears hostile and fights with Wesker, against the two. However, Wesker escapes and the two are left with Jill. The two see a device on Jill's chest which they pull off by using Chris's words and restraining. Jill returns to normal and tells that she could not control her actions but she was still aware. Jill tells the two to proceed and stop Wesker once and for all.

Chris and Sheva board the ship that Excella and Wesker board. The two find Excella who escapes and drops a case of syringes. Wesker has a flashback of Spencer telling him that he is the only surviving Wesker child from the Progenitor virus experiment. Spencer shares with him his "right to be a god". However, Wesker kills him and says "the right is now mine". As the two progress, the find a giant pile of corpses and Excella is there appearing to be dying. Wesker tells them over the intercom that Excella has "one last task" and as he says it, Excella engulfs the pile of corpses and turns into an extremely massive monster. The two defeat Excella and see on a monitor, an assault bomber for the spreading of Uroboros, and Wesker. Jill calls Chris via mobile phone and tells them that Wesker's superhuman strength is caused by an unstable virus. That virus, if overdosed can act like a poison. The virus is carried in the syringe that Excella dropped earlier.

The two find Wesker and appear to defeat him by restraining him and injecting him with the syringe. However, he escapes by plane and the two just manage to get in through the backdoor. Wesker tells them his plans that the plane will reach optimum altitude to release the virus into the atmosphere to ensure absolute global annihilation. Chris reopens the backdoor and Sheva shoots Wesker, who falls out of the plane. The plane crashes into a lava field and the two encounter Wesker again. After a long struggle, the two defeat Wesker and he falls into the lava. Jill and Josh appear in a helicopter and save Chris and Sheva. However, after boarding the helicopter, Wesker appears again, but is finally killed by two rockets. Chris reminisces on whether it was all worth fighting for. After looking at the other three, he thinks, "Yeah, it's worth it."
