Wild elephants attack in Aceh increased berkelindan with widespread forest encroachment. Man with elephant conflict is inevitable. Elephants are hunted and despised. As a result, declining elephant population in Aceh. In 2011, according to Resource Conservation Agency Aceh, only the remaining 540 birds. In fact, the Sultanate of Aceh in the days of the 17th century, elephant jungle meets and becomes a symbol of greatness.

Before the Sultanate of Aceh was standing, the kingdoms of the north island of Sumatra has made the elephant as an integral part of the kingdom. According to M. Jonah Djamil, a king in Pidie chose the elephant as tunganggannya. "In the year 500 AD was found to kingdom named Poli, namely Pidie now, people are Buddhists, the king riding an elephant," wrote White Gadjah Djamil in Iskandar Muda.

Perlak Sultan in 1146 is also fond of riding elephants decorated with gold, as quoted from the Book Rihlah Djamil Abu Ishak al-Makarany. While Marco Polo called the kingdom of Samudra Pasai as having a lot of elephants, and most belonged to the king.

Ibn Battuta in Rihlah, Ibn Battuta gives a more complete description of the elephant Samudra Pasai in 1345. In addition to the King owned, the elephants are also part of war royal fleet. The number is 300 elephants. Although for the war, the elephants still decorated. According to him, the strength and splendor of elephant Samudra Pasai fleet can only be rivaled by the Kingdom of Delhi (India).

When the Acehnese Sultanate was established in the first half of the 16th century, the elephant remains a mainstay of animals, except horses. Sultans of Aceh that time famous as a skilled rider on an elephant. Elephant riding skills are considered a symbol of majesty the sultan. The elephants were well cared for.

Wild elephants are hunted in the interior not to take the tusks, but to be tamed. Once tame, the elephant is considered the best and will be the largest elephant sultan. Rest for a fleet of war in Aceh. War elephants were decorated as beautiful as possible with gold and jewels. A view that can be found in India.

Pride of the Sultanate of Aceh to the elephant continued into the 17th century. Iskandar Muda, sultan of candidates, familiar with elephants since childhood. Indra Jaya, a baby elephant, a little playmate Iskandar Muda. His grandfather, Sultan Shah Alau'ddin Riayat, giving the elephant when Alexander was 5 years old. Iskandar love it.

He spent most of his playing time with the baby elephant. The age of 7 years, he began hunting wild elephants in the forest. When growing up, Iskandar Muda has been adept at riding the elephant. Citing Tale Aceh, Anthony Reid in "Elephants and Water in The Feasting of Seventeenth Century Aceh," published in An Indonesian Frontier, said the young sultan's elephant training every Monday and Thursday. The young sultan sultan of Aceh continue the tradition of proficiency in riding elephants.

Foreign guests of the Sultanate of Aceh fascinated by the elephants there. Conversely, the elephant-elephant Aceh boasts the foreign guests. To welcome foreign visitors, the elephant is a well, good temperament, health and jewels. John Davies, English navigator, his experience visiting the palace of the sultan in 1599. "I was driving to his house with an elephant," wrote Davies in "Bad Ends First Visit Holland, 1599," published in Tempo Doeloe Sumatra.

He also mentioned the elephant can be used as a tool executions. Elephants can tear up his body shattered. Note Francois Martin, the French traders, the 1602 reinforces Davies story. Sentenced to death by elephants imposed on fornicators and murderers.

Although the elephant had become the instrument of execution, the main function of the elephant as a symbol of the greatness of the sultanate of Aceh undeniable. Augustin de Beaulieu, the French trader, saw how Aceh is a major theater of the elephants in 1621. In his notes, "The brutality of Iskandar Muda", published in Tempo Doeloe Sumatra, he said Aceh has 900 elephants. Because of the abundance of elephants fleet, Aceh did not require the city walls. "The elephants tempurnyalah which is the real citadel," wrote Denys Lombard kingdom of Aceh.

The elephants were trained to fight, so do not be afraid when the gun sounds in addition to ear-splitting sounds great. Sultan gave the elephants while the names of the people pay homage to the sultan's elephants use. When the parade, elephants accompanied by the blaring sounds of musical instruments such as trumpet, tambourine, and cymbals.

Another note about the elephants in Aceh came from Peter Mundy, British travelers. Although only visiting Aceh for 10 days, he saw a large ceremony that included a lot of elephants in 1637. He describes very clearly the ceremony that was held during the celebration of Eid al-Adha. The ceremony was attended by the audience including foreigners. Sultan invited all the people present, from commoners to royalty.

In the ceremony, 30 decorated elephants are divided into several lines. There are four elephants each row. Most of elephant covered in silk so that only visible legs, ears, eyes, and their trunks. The elephant king looks striking. Decorated with luxurious fabrics that cover almost the entire body and one meter high tower in his back, the elephant was at the back. According to Takeshi Ito in The World of The Traditional Aceh, a thesis on the Australian National University, "in peacetime, the elephant became an integral part in the procession as stated in the book of Adat Aceh."

Ito added Aceh not only collected but also export the elephants or membarternya with a horse or other animal to a few regions such as Sri Lanka. At the Sultanah Safiatuddin (1641-1675), unlimited ownership of elephants again in the sultan. The rich may have it. Along meredupnya Sultanate of Aceh, the elephant no longer occupies an important position in a religious ceremony or a fleet of war. Entering the 20th century, the unfortunate fate, only to become prey of goods and merchandise. Even an enemy of the people.

Generating revenue with good planning

2011-11-12T22:34:00.000-08:00

For that work, care should be firm, workable plans to execute it and the same goes for website designs. With a carefully designed site, you will be able to create a site that generates multiple streams of income you create. In fact, online sites can desolate, because they are well planned and received a single visitor. Gradually, the webmaster will not be motivated to work longer and turns into wasted cyberspace

The important point of planning your site is optimizing it for revenue if you want income from the site. Divide your site into major blocks, ordered by themes, and start building new pages and subsections in the blocks. For example, you can create a "food" section, an "accommodation" section and an "entertainment" to a tourist site. You can write and publish relevant articles in the various sections a stream of traffic that comes looking for additional information to attract.

If you have a wider and more defined scope of themes for your site, you can sell space on your pages for those interested in advertising on your page. You may also programs like Google's Adsense and Yahoo! Search Marketing if people surf the thematic pages and click on the ads. For this reason, blocks ads on your pages must be related to the content, so a theme page fits that criteria perfectly.

As the Internet becomes more widespread, the advertising on the Internet has more results than on magazines or offline media. So start printing this lucrative stream of profit right away!

About Encryption and security system

2011-11-07T20:14:00.000-08:00

What encryption do for me?

Encryption and cryptographic software has been used in many different ways to more secure systems. This article only a few ways that this software your system more secure, including:

1) Encrypt your e-mail

2) Encrypt your files

For programs that are called will help encrypt information. There are many more programs out there that will help, but these programs are good and a good place to start as any. It has the additional advantage of being free with both the source code available.

Will encryption stop people from accessing my information?

Encryption makes it more difficult for people to important information like passwords or sensitive information in a file opened. The first thing you should know about encryption is that the algorithm used to encrypt can be simple or more complex and that the influence of secure encrypted protected. Crypto was broken when the method of encryption is understood by hackers and is easy to break.

Why bother me e-mail to encrypt?

It should be noted that the e-mail is far less secure than paper mail for two very good reasons: first, electronic data easily on a website and on the other hand are found, the electronic data is really easy to to copy. There is a very good chance that someone around you explore e-mail despite your good intentions to stop it.

How do I go about encrypting my email?

There are many programs out there that can help your e-mail to encrypt. A very popular PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) or GPG Gnu his daughter.

PGP (http://www.pgpi.org/) self-describes itself this way: This "is a program that gives you email something not otherwise:. Privacy It does this by encoding your email mail so that no one other than the intended person can read. Once encrypted, the message looks like a meaningless jumble of random characters. PGP has proven to be quite capable of resisting even the most sophisticated form analysis aimed at reading the encrypted text.

Why bother to encrypt my files?

The answer to this comes down to what you store on your computer. If you have financial data with important information like social security numbers, email addresses, account numbers and passwords, then you are open to lose valuable information. Most companies staff security on the Internet testify to the widespread theft of very valuable information. While online, you are vulnerable.

5 Important Rules in Website Design

2011-11-07T08:18:00.000-08:00

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In fact, they are just that pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the "back" button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valueable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don't know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don't confuse your visitors because confusion means "abandon ship"!

5) Avoid using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they're not annoyed by some audio looping on and on on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it volume or muting controls would work fine.

7 Ways to Leave Comments and Drive Traffic Back to Your Blog

2011-07-12T04:28:00.000-07:00

People say that to make an impression, you'll have to open your mouth. While that is physically impossible in the virtual world of the Internet, saying your piece is not entirely difficult to do. Thanks to forums and discussion boards, you can leave a comment or start a discussion thread about virtually any topic from anywhere in the world. And yes, you can even leave comments to drive traffic to your blog and increase your readership.

Leaving effective comments
You're probably old enough to know that not every comment that gets thrown into an opportunity for interaction creates the desired effect, much less become appreciated by those who hear or read it. If you don't use this technique carefully, you will either waste the opportunity or simply allow it to create the wrong impression. Here are 7 ways you ought to do it:

Choose the sites you leave comments on

Ever wondered why Tiger Woods is great? Because he chooses his battles well. You'll never find Woods swinging his club at a lesser known tournament – not because he's a snob but because he focuses on the games that truly matter and on being on equal ground with other greats.

Keep this in mind before you leave comments on a website. Just because you have the burning need to drive traffic to your blog doesn’t mean you can just drop by a site – any site – and write there.

Choose the sites and blogs whose forums you participate with. Find out if the site deals with a topic or subject related to your very own blog. Practice only purposeful commenting – the kind where you leave only well-crafted comments on sites that will help build the buzz about your blog.

If the site is completely irrelevant but you have the urge to leave a comment, do so only during your spare time. Otherwise, focus your energies only on more productive activities.

Know what you're saying

Before you leave a comment with the purpose of driving traffic to your blog, at least write one that is useful. Your goal is to be noticed AND respected for your opinions so leaving useless and dead end comments such as 'Cool!' and 'Way to go!' just won't cut it.

If this is the best you can do, forget about leaving comments right now and focus on other strategies to drive traffic to your blog. Better avoid this technique than be embarrassed or be viewed as lame or mediocre.

But if you can write and have something meaningful to say, by all means, do so. With every comment you have, make sure you keep it short, concise, to the point and useful. Talk about relevant topics and avoid those that will do nothing for your purpose.

Avoid strong language

Of course, some sites will probably allow you to leave comments that are strongly worded or at least camouflaged as symbols such as !#$%&*, but there are ways to get your point across, regardless of how angry, upset or argumentative you are.

Furthermore, majority of sites and blogs impose certain regulations that restrict the use of certain words. Try to rephrase a sentence without losing its main thought. Use an online thesaurus, if necessary. Remember that once a comment is posted online, there's no way to get it back especially if it's not your site. You can leave that comment there to rot but you can never take it back.

Do not be rude

Have a sense of humor. The Internet is a vast expanse of space, currently limitless. In fact, it's a whole universe unto itself. If people leave comments on your post that seem to insult you or argue with you, don't fight back without thinking.

First of all, we are a democracy and people have every right to their own opinion. Second, firing back with the same kind of idiotic language will not be a good reflection on you. Third, you're way better than that. If you must defend your stand, do so with class.

Calm down

Please, if you must drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments on other websites, keep it professional and tone it down. DON'T LEAVE MESSAGES LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!!

A good rule of thumb is to follow accepted structure of the English language or whatever language it is you're using to post. If you must use exclamatory points, make sure they are truly needed. Otherwise, avoid them.

Leaving comments written in purely bold or capitalized letter smacks of desperation and unprofessionalism. It's hardselling and makes people stay away in droves.

Check replies to your blogs

Maximize commenting on other sites and drive traffic by frequently checking back on the forum you participated in to see if there are any replies to the post you left. This is a good way to build buzz and network.

Check your facts

If you will be quoting someone or citing a certain study, make sure your facts can be corroborated. Don't use make believe or newly invented figures and statements or even half-truths and try to pass them off as legit. You will be exposed. If you want to drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments, make sure you don't tarnish your reputation with the effort.

Aceh party rejects independent candidates

2011-06-30T13:15:00.000-07:00

Banda Aceh – The Aceh Party faction in the provincial legislative assembly or DPRA has rejected an article in a draft bylaw or qanun on the organization of elections that allows independent or non-party candidates to run for office.

The draft qanun was to be presented to a DPRA plenary session for endorsement soon.
“We reject the article about independent candidates because it violates Law No.11/2006 about Aceh`s administration (UUPA),” said one of the Aceh Party faction members, Ridwan Abubakar, here on Tuesday.
Ridwan, when reading out the faction`s final statement at the DPRA plenary session said, the UUPA article no.256 regulates that an independent candidate was only allowed to take part in the gubernatorial election in December 2006.
According to him, although the Constitutional Court (MK) had annulled article 256, the Aceh Party considered it as out of procedure, because the MK had never consulted the DPRA before making the decision.
“The article no.256 should not be revoked because the absence of independent candidates is a specific feature of Aceh province`s political system. If this article is revoked it is a violation of the Helsinki memorandum of understanding (MoU),” he said.
The UUPA was made based on the Helsinki MoU which is a peace agreement between the Indonesian government and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM).
The Aceh Party faction councillor also said that election disputes should be settled by the MK adding that based the UUPA, the election disputes should be settled by the Supreme Court.
In the meantime, Jeramin of the Democrat party faction said his party could accept the independent candidate to be put into the regional election regulation (qanun).[]

Drought, Rice Yellow Rain-virgin and suddenly

2011-06-27T13:59:00.000-07:00

The days of worrying. Rada raced. Frantically. Farmers are the kinds of people who are wise in terms of perceiving whole soul cried in agony rice paddies when the climate was at the peak of the dry season at the turn of the cycle of rising and sinking of the sun which only offer the heat.

Litter that peasants Pidie and Pidie Jaya gadu season this year because drought in conditions where the average in their rice paddies and was only a month or supply of irrigation water obstacle.

Reservoirs at the top of the river is a mainstay in the irrigation season without rain, the average water discharge minus. Chronology of jungle and rivers in between the foot of the mountain is usually the supplier of water to the reservoirs, there were stones popping up because without water.

As a result, as seen in the rice field Waido, Simpang Three; Bambi, Indrajaya; Blang Crum, Kembang Tanjong; Pulo Kualed, Pearl West; Krueng Seumideun, Peukan Baro expanse of paddy should be green, it's actually yellow. Though rice is still virgin.

But in the midst of a situation that was warm, the rain which flushed across the region Pidie and Pidie Jaya passer like a hallucination in the desert mirage, the traveler who swelter in the days up and down the streets in the parched valleys and hills of sand that extend burning altar.

The rain which flushed quite suddenly yesterday. Seen, the bikers who was speeding down the street stop immediately, open the hood, take a coat, put on hurriedly and then continuing the journey.

While that does not have a coat immediately take shelter in the stalls, street vendors stall curb. Then who do not provide clothes rain on the hood of his motorbike but he must go on because the time to hunt, forced to allow themselves soaked along the journey.

And, almost certainly, at the mouth of the farmers on average hissed, "Thank God, thank God, thank God," as the burst of the spirit of gratitude to the presence of Allah's mercy rain washed Tanoh crah niches. So, what's sizzling on the tops of the swaying paddy? Only God knows.

Pain Corruptors rhyme that "Allowed Cruises"

2011-06-26T18:34:00.000-07:00

HUNTING into the plains, the widow got stripes on the legs. Corruptors cruise allowed sick, the people's money taken away". Temple above is the content of the poem recited in WAS Rendra Leuwinanggung August 16, 2008.

Corruptors poem illustrates how easy it is corrupt strolled abroad only in sick. Not just one or two people, criminals who fled abroad, according to Emerson Juntho ICW activists there were 45 people in the last ten years.

Special Staff of the President of Legal Affairs Denny Indrayana mean, it is due to rampant especially in the field of law enforcement corruption. "I reject the pessimists Optimistic alone in combating corruption. That means Indonesia, KPK, Indonesia with efforts to combat the increasingly rampant corruption, no longer a haven for the corrupt," he said to Legal, recently.

Currently the corrupt can no longer rely on people who have the position to be 'backing' when the convolution of corruption.

"It should not be seen as pessimistic, or else there are people close to baseball officials have fled to police everywhere. Quite at home alone baseball will touched. First if anyone has the important position of party baseball needs to run out of the country is quite in country. The criminals prefer to run out of the country, Singapore than in Indonesia, "he explained.

Blurring of corruption abroad, he continued, in the reform period was due to the existence of the KPK. This anti-corruption institutions to make criminals uncomfortable and choose leave. "It should be an achievement on the other hand, corruption of course should be pursued not as easy as it could run but, not viewed from the side of the problem. Sometimes we need encouragement as well," he said.

When asked how the formula to return the criminals to be in court in the country, Denny said, "One thing, we had already spoken, out of the country I'm optimistic," he replied.

Dissenting opinion delivered Observers of International Law from the University of Indonesia Hikmanto Juawana. He said the flight of corrupt abroad not because of the heavy sanctions on the country.

"Certainly not because of sanctions but because they want to bring illicit assets, but do not want to be snared law or also anyone want to avoid legal proceedings and jail. Remember that running is a white-collar criminals and those who have a respectable position in Indonesia," he said .

It seems like an acute problem of corruption in this country, how is the discourse about the death penalty for criminals who had fame, apparently did not dampen corruption measures robbing people's money.

Even Mahfud MD Chairman of the Constitutional Court had approved the death sentence for corruption. It was as part of efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. Not to mention the impoverishment of discourse that could corrupt mengaung lately, was also not afraid to make korptor hobby.

Yes, the two discourses on top, just a discourse that seems naive to be realized. Institutional Police, Attorney General, the KPK has not been so influential even to chop down the character of corruption that has become a chronic nature.

The proof of corruption is still rampant. Apparently, it takes a long time and seriousness in ridding the country of corrupt practices. Can simultaneously bring the criminals who run the people's money abroad. We wait for further government action.
