Jesus at the cross

Today I would like to talk about Jesus at the cross. (This story can be found in the KJV at Matthew 27) Before the cross Jesus met with the disciples in the upper room. He had some bad news he said whoever I give this bread to will betray
me. Jesus' disciples said is it me master then Jesus gave the bread to
Judas and Jesus said Judas I want you to do this and do this fast
Then Jesus went to court the Judge said he did nothing wrong
Then the crowd said crucify him. They put a purple robe on him
and they gambled over his clothes then they beat him with a cat of 9 tails.
(which is a whip with 9 strings and glass and bones tied on to the strings to rip the skin)
Then they made him carry a cross but he could not carry it.
They jabbed a crown of thorns into his head and nailed his hands and feet to the cross.
Next to Jesus was a roberer the roberer got saved then they checked to make sure every body died. They pierced a speer in Jesus' is side and water and blood
came out and before he died he said it is finished and he gave up the ghost.
Did you know that Jesus died for your sins and everybody's so you can go to heaven and be
saved. So ok could you do this for Jesus. Could you bow your head and close your eyes and fold your hands together and say, Dear God, I know I am a sinner please forgive me of my sins and be my Savior! In Jesus Name Amen. You can stop bowing your head now are you serious about this
please comment and say yes or no.

Teaching Responsibility - Video - No Greater Joy

I watched a movie about Teaching Responsibility I liked how Bro. Pearl taught on laziness and how to get rid of it. He spoke about the difference between training a man and a boy! The movie had lots of life examples, pictures and clips. If you are having a hard time with whining, complaining and boredom this is the two part video series for your family. It is helping the Zkids to be better workers. Try it and you'll see! Please leave a comment if you watch this video.

I like it because it teaches children are a blessing and not a burden. If you think that children are a burden than you have been deceived. I am from a family of 9, I have 6 siblings. I think that if you take a look at the Moore family and my family you might think it might be hard with all of those kids but like I said they are not a burden they are a blessing! I love this movie I hope you love it too!

Finding the Right Church or Calling the Right Pastor #2

My family and I were talking at the supper table not long ago and I thought that there should be another post on finding the right church or calling the right pastor. So here it is I hope that God will get all the glory and this will help the church to stay strong in these last days!

(A Bishop is the same as a pastor)

My Pastor Bro. May

(1Ti 3:1) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
(1Ti 3:2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
(1Ti 3:3) Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
(1Ti 3:4) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
(1Ti 3:5) (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
(1Ti 3:6) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
(1Ti 3:7) Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

To find a good Church you must:

#1. Make sure the preacher has nothing to do with the red highlighted words above and all to do with the green ones:)
#2. Check out his wife-she should be like the godly women of the Bible.
#3. Check out his children-they should be well behaved and godly.

3 Reasons Why: Church is not a game!

Hi, today I would like to show you why it is not good to play around in church.

#1. Why do you go to church? the reason why you go to church should be because you want to learn about God, not to play around with your buddies. You can do that after church.
#2. We should be serious about church. Why do we have to be serious you may ask me, because people get saved in church and you might get saved in church if you haven't already.
#3. Do you ever pay attention to the preacher's sermon? Well, you might get a message from it-but if you are playing around with your friends, texting your friends, or taking a nap then you will miss what God has to say to you personally. This is why we should be serious in church.

Never Leave Jesus out of Christmas

Hi, today I would like to show you the real meaning of Christmas. Its a little bit about love and care. But I said that it is a little bit about love and care that doesn't mean it is the real meaning. The real meaning of Christmas is about Jesus being born: he lived a good life and his blood that he shed was our Christmas gift! Remember when you are going to parties, making Christmas crafts, singing Christmas carols and putting up decorations that Jesus is the gift of Christmas and we should think about what he is to us and make Him the center of the season!

5 Easy Steps to Finding the Right Church

Hi, I'm Zeke. Today I am going to try to help you find a good church.

Step 1: Make sure they use the King James Bible, God's word for the English speaking people if you speak English.

Step 2: Make sure they have salvation my faith in Jesus Christ's death, burial and Resurrection from the dead for the payment (remission) of sins. Many churches have salvation but they add you must live a good life, join their church, do good works, do another religious act (example.. baptism, communion,pray in tongues) these things are not necessary for or to salvation good works come as a result of trusting Christ. After you receive Christ you naturally want to please him. This is the right order not the other way around.

Step 3: Make sure they soul-win. If they don't believe in actively giving out the gospel then you have a dead church. A church that isn't going out isn't sharing what God can do for others. They are keeping it a secret. A city that is

Step 4: Are they scriptural? May times you can tell right away if they are scriptural if you ask about their salvation and ask them what they teach about the way one gets to heaven. Also ask them if there is something you have to do keep that salvation.

Step 5: Pray for God to lead you to the right church and to give you wisdom to make the right decision. Not a decision based on how sweet people are or how pretty the church is or what neat programs they may have but in the right teaching of the church.

I go to a Fundamental Baptist Church because the teaching of that church comes straight from the Bible and not from extra books or traditions.

Book of the Day

Today I picked out the Dangerous Book for Boys because boys are supposed to act like boys and not girls. It has all kinds of things that you can build and there is even a couple of kits available that you can get from the same authors that offer science experiments and chemistry programs. I have the Dangerous Book for Boys and I have read it and it is a great book. I hope you will like it too!

NIV verses KJV

Facts about the NIV

The NIV leaves out over 40 verses

Acts 8:37 is an example of this.

This verse is important because it show by example that a person must believe before he is baptized.

The omission of this verse leaves way for the heresy of infant baptism

There are more than 40 verses left out of the NIV that the KJV has. Today we will write about a few of them to give you a little sample of why I choose the KJV.

The KJV lifts up the Deity of Christ

The NIV attacks the Deity of Christ

By making Joseph His father instead of God. In Luke 2:33

NIV - The child's father and mother..

KJV – Joseph and his Mother

The KJV tells us that we can become the sons and daughters of Christ through salvation.

The NIV attacks the sonship of believers.

By making Jesus the one and only Son instead of the only begotten Son in John 3:16 this is a direct contradiction to 1John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

This is a really good book on this subject!

Movie of the Day

I was over at my friend's house and I saw these two movies that I liked. The John Bunyan story was about a preacher who was in prison for preaching. The Amy Carmichael story was about a missionary and a girl who was kept in an Indian temple. You should see this movie to see the great ending!

How to use Your Bible

There are some people who do not know how to use there Bible. Today I will show you how to use the Bible.
1. If you have a bible turn over to the first book of the bible, Genesis. The BIG NUMBER 1 is the Chapter
and the small number is the verse.

2. If you are reading a bible devotional like mine or someone else's then often the writer will refer to a chapter and verse by using a system that looks a lot like the time on a clock. This is called a reference. It will have a book of the bible like John or it can be abbreviated (shortened) like Jn and then it will have the chapter number and the verse number separated by a colon(:) John 3:16 or Jn 3:16.

3.Now that you are learning how to look things up you will need to learn your books of the Bible and where to find them in your Bible. If you look in the front of your Bible there is an index page that lists all of the books and across from them there will be the page number that it is found on. You can learn a song that will help you to remember them and then they will stick in your mind and you can thumb through your bible until you find the book that you are looking for.
