Sorry gang, I left my blogspot for a long time without any updates but I assure you its not dead. I've just been burnt out from the internet and everything I do all over the internet.

My new Youtube account "AsianMMA" is taking up all the time I use to put in on this site. I want to make that account into partner status and the key to that is to show Youtube its not just someone that loggs in every half a moon to upload.

Once it gets into partner status I will update this site more. This is my "baby" afterall.

Hey guys heres my video. Someone left me a comment telling me Chuck was the underdog, but in my head I just can't see him losing. Don't get me wrong anything can happen in MMA but this fight in my opinion is Chuck's to lose and the only way he will lose is if he gets knocked out but Rich isn't known for his 1 hit KO power. So with the underdog odds calling my name, I decided to put some money on this fight. How much? Well lets just say enough to make me cry if I lose so its quite a bit....

But what I was thinking if my prediction comes true (2nd round TKO by Chuck) I might have to set something up..... Don't quote me though. Its just thoughts right now. But possibly a draw for something worth $20.00 will see the fight is still few weeks away.

As you know I went to Hong Kong/China and trust me this happened in April and its still very cold there. I went to Bejing and I was being Mr "He-Man" thinking since I was from Canada and we have 10 ft of snow in our front lawns nothing can be as cold as that especially if your a southern continent. Oh how I was wrong. I just brought a windbreaker and was chilled to the bone even though I wore a lot of layers I was still very cold, so it must be horrible over there. Dealing with broken structures and no food and coldness. Its going towards a very good cause.

So this picture was taken in grade 2. I recently added this photo and a bunch of others to facebook, and decided to upload a single picture just for the few hardcore fans that want to see how I looked like when I was younger. Note that I am the only Chinese kid in the class and it was like that, until I got to grade 9, but even then I still preferred to hang out with white people. WHIIITEEE POWER! hahaha enjoy the picture.
Edit: also for the people following my comments, I wrote that I was going to upload a few of my HK blogs because theres no UFC events coming up any time soon, but adsense has been paying off for UFC 112(made almost $100) for that weekend alone. So I'm going to keep pushing out UFC prediction videos earlier. Note: this is only the 2nd time I've made this much in a week. I'm pretty happy about it. Maybe things are changing! Crossing fingers.

Tips for Highschool graduates.

Sorry my blogsite followers, I've been really slacking on these blogs, I have a lot of free time right now, but I just haven't been interested in writing a few blogs.

But I guess I'll write about where I am in life at this point. I went to 1 year at a trade school passed, got my paper, worked for a year in that industry and then got laid off as my company shut down. Right now I'm still unemployed and looking for a job and I'm thinking of changing my career paths to a police officer.

So let me give you some advice, for all the people that are in high school. You will probably hear a lot of people ask "So what are you going to do with your life" when your about to reach grade 12. Each time I heard that I just wanted to punch the person in the face for asking such a stupid question. Its different when family asks you, but complete strangers will just randomly ask you that. They don't care, they won't remember and its not witty or makes them look smart by asking such a retarded question just for conversation.

So here are my tips:
1. Don't punch anyone in the face if they ask you dumb questions.(YOUR GOING TO HEAR IT LOTS.)

2. Don't listen to ANYONE'S advice on what you should pursue. Its your life. If you want to take a year off and travel, or become a hooker or sell drugs its up to you. Don't let anyone. Make your own path. Its your life.

3. Think everything over clearly, committing yourself to a 4 year program, its tough. Your still young, but if you go in with enthusiasm then in the 2nd year you realize this isn't for you. Thats a waste of time. Not only that but you wasted 2 years of money.

4. Fairy tale endings, don't always happen. Thats the real world. Everyone hears about people going to college or university, then finding a good job and becoming rich. In the real world, each one of your classmates are gunning for the same job as you, theres 1000's of other colleges in the world. You going to college isn't going to put yourself ahead of any pack so the job hunt is insane. Company's that are hiring, are looking for people with experience in the industry along with the education backrounds, you won't find many entry level positions for whatever you take. In truth a lot of university graduates just end up in the same spot as someone who just went to work right after highschool, as those people climbed up a ladder with promotions.

5. The key thing in school that you should really grasp, is the social factor, go out join teams, clubs and just talk to everyone from different aspects of life. This is very crucial because grades aren't everything. For me I met someone that came from China on a 50k scholarship do you know what that means? China is highly populated so to have won a 50k scholarship that means you have to be the best of the best in school... But anyways they worked for my dad at the restaurant part time, and I have to say. Wow the guy has no common sense(ex.he would put fresh stock in the front and he never rotated the stock, so everything in the back would spoil) and hes very slow with no hand eye coordination(ex. can't handle multiple direction as a kitchen is very fast pace environment and very stressful) and he didn't know how to talk.(ex. When you take someones order you usually do some small talk, but he doesn't know how to do that and usually the customers tell me he was very rude) Its clear that his parent's pushed him really hard to get good grades, but whats that worth if you can't talk and you don't know how to make a good impression. No one will hire you because of grades alone.

6. You will probably change careers a lot in life. Humans get bored very easily. So I suggest working at a lot of different places before you chase after that one dream, so you have a good idea of all the different industries and what their looking for.

Those are my tips, I hope you take what I have said with a grain of salt, if you need to get a piece of paper by all means, all the power to you. But whatever you choose, just be happy with your life and remember, you will always have family and friends that will support your choices and decisions. Money isn't everything.

My Wrestlemania small recap

So last night I watched wrestlemania and it sucked, probably one of the worst wrestlemania's ever. Bret Hart sucked and he was well known as one of the best wrestlers of all time and the guy never had a boring match, but now he holds onto one of the worst matches in wrestlemania history I mean it was ball bustingly bad and long and it should have ended 10 mins eariler. The other match I want to talk about is HBK vs Undertaker.

I have to say. Their last match was better, it might have been the "no surprise who was going to win" factor but the match was not enjoyable to watch at all for me. HBK my favorite wrestler of all time was having his last official big stage match and this was going to be it.

HBK is my favorite wrestler because hes a awesome wrestler in the ring, he can fly, he can chain wrestle, he can wrestle big guys/small guys and you would always be on your feet watching this guy. But above all I loved his old cocky/arrogant character that he played on T.V. Every promo that he did, I was captivated and actually believed what he said. HBK is the only reason why I still check in on wrestling from time to time, and I have to say with HBK retiring its not only the end of a era for him its for me aswell.

HBK put on some amazing matches and if your a new fan of wrestling you have to find some old HBK promo's and matches I suggest. His iron man match against Bret Hart, that sums up what HBK can do in the ring in one match. Promo's any are good even when he was the "commissioner". I'm gonna miss watching HBK go out to the ring.

Man I really regret not writing on here while I was in Hong Kong(daily if not weekly), today I uploaded some pictures I have taken and it would mean so much more if I had written about the pictures while they were fresh in my mind. Take this simple picture for example.

This picture was taken at the Calgary Airport and this was the day I officially left for Hong Kong. But first I had to take a connecting flight to Vancouver, then from Vancouver we would goto Hong Kong. I took this picture because I was laughing at this couple because they were making out hardcore before the little guy got tired and had to take a cat nap.

Man a picture is worth a thousand words and this one photo made me laugh. I wish I would have taken more photo's! But I really doubted my camcorders photo taking abilities but the quality isn't all that bad from what I initially thought.

I have made vlogs and I expect to upload one of them onto my main channel in a few days.

So that thing turned into a flu. I have got to tell you though. I haven't been sick in a very very long time. I had a fever which lasted about 2 days and now I'm still fighting off a cough and the sniffles. But im feeling good, lesson to anyone though, do make time to sleep cause I think I caught the flu on the airplane and since I did not even sleep a wink my immune system was low and the recirculated air probably didn't help either. But anyways Today I made my UFC predictions for UFC 111. Its a big event where im going to guess all the casual fans come out. So its a can't miss, heres my prediction videos for GSP vs Hardy and Mir vs Carwin

On other news my blogs from HK. I will upload one video of those blogs onto my youtube channel to see the reception and if it goes well I will upload the rest onto there if not I will open up a new channel or upload it directly here. It will be uploaded with in a few days. I just need the time to get myself back together.

Also in my personal life I have been giving out resumes online so hopefully I can get a job. Cross your fingers with me.

So 1st day back....

I went to sleep at 9pm woke up at 5am. I grabbed a glass of milk and then went back into my room and tried to fall asleep again. Didn't work so I went online. I did that for about 3 hours and got caught up with all my videos that I have missed on youtube. My mom wakes up, I go out to greet her in the living room and for some reason I look at all the luggage backs laying there on the floor and it just puts me in a real depressed state.

I thought coming back to Canada was going to be fine and life was going to continue without me thinking twice of Hong Kong. But I really do miss Hong Kong. It might be the fact that we had something planned every single day or that the family there I haven't seen/talked growing up, so I was using this time to get to know them. I miss them and now I'm "emotional" ( not crying or anything but I'm just reminiscing of all the good times I spent with them over the month period and how long its going to be again before I get a chance to see them again.)

Growing up I was always around family as there were 10 people in one house and thats what this trip reminded me of. Just getting to see family day in and day out. Its not the same thing with just yourself and your mom in a big house....

Well I'm using this blog to channel some of my emotions in and I think it worked a little bit. I feel better. But i'm going to stop as there's still a full luggage of clothes laying on my bedroom floor waiting to be unpacked. :(

But before I sign out here's 1 picture that I will share even though I told my uncle I wasn't going to put any family photo's on the internet, people reading this might not get anything out of this. But a few weeks later when I come back and re-read this it will mean something to me.

Time to leave

Hey Guys/Gals.

Well like I said earlier, I will be leaving for Hong Kong on Feb 6 to visit family and to spend Chinese New years there and today is that day.

Just wanted you to know I'll be back in mid March unless its totally crazy fun.... I will bring my camcorder as apparently my aunty there has a bunch of coverters and probably buy a new digital camera so I will take a bunch of pictures. Video clips wise I will do my best to capture some interesting stuff that might be usable for youtube.

As for the Haiti donation. I was really disappointing on my Jan earnings. It was my fault I didn't push videos like I usually do. So before I left I tried pushing out as much content as I possibly could, I hope I can raise $50. at least for the month of Feb, I didn't want to do a UFC prediction for Nog vs Cain as I like to compare my results for who I think would win with other people but I just went with whats in my head. Hopefully I don't lose any credibility behind my MMA predictions.

On a side note, KevJumba raised $1100 for Haiti in 2 months. I've donated just under $100 well (50 is my own money) in total. Jumbfund has 364k subscribers to my 8k subscribers and he only beats me by 90%.... its either I'm making some pretty change for the subscribers I have or someones lying, yes I realize he only uploads 1 video a month basically but add up all my views for my entire month to his one video. It still doesn't add up as he dominates me. Someones pocketing money from a channel he claims he will donate everything to charity.

Here's what I've been doing.

Had a friend that came over from Chilliwack B.C. and he stayed at my house for a week and basically all my free time got used up for going snowboarding, drinking and just going out. He left a few days ago and now I'm just starting to get back into the swing of things on youtube and here.

But once again if you didn't know it will take a break as I will be going to Hong Kong. On other HK news, I found out my cousins grampa eats dog meat. So I'm super excited on trying dog meat.

For the Haiti Situation this month I've raised $36.00 so far(little low from what I was expecting but like I said I don't make a lot of money off youtube. But thats in part that I wasn't making videos regularly.) I expect in Feb I will pull in $25.00 if im lucky.

**Runs outside house, as my neighbors have music loud again**
So I was writing a update and my neighbors started doing their music thing again. I rang the door bell a small white dude with a big ass beard opened the door and said Hi, I told him turn down the music. He said Its not even loud. I said you can come outside and you can hear it and then I proceeded to tell him I know at this house there are new tenant's(its a rental house) so they don't know the history of what happened. I told him if the music continues I will begin phoning the cops and the old tenants that lived there received a ticket. Then he proceeded to close the door and said "phone the cops" before the door could close I snuck in "keep the music going". Then walked back over here. As I'm writing this the music has died down, what a pussy... Talk big but then you turn down your music....

My thoughts: seriously wtf. If your going to live in a neighborhood you have to be considerate of your neighbors, and just because you don't think its loud, it doesn't mean its not loud for other people. why do all the people that move into this house, are all retarded?

A subscriber is a subscriber at the end of the day so someone with a lot of subscribers himself does not make me feel any different then someone with no subscribers, its the support the matters, if someone likes my videos and decides to subscribe. Making a T-Shirt?

I've been thinking of ways to make more money online as I have a pretty big subscriber base... I would be a idiot not to try to take advantage of that. The only thing I could think of that I could make money through is, merchandise.

But I don't have any catchy lines that I say lots, nor would I put it on a t-shirt. Honestly I've browsed youtube celebrity t-shirts and some of them are just awful and it boggles my mind who would actually buy one.

Take this for example:

This is from Chris Crocker. The first thing that came to my mind was, honestly who is this T-shirt geared towards? Obviously the only people I could see buying this shirt are males who are gay(sexual preference not gay, gay). But still its so offensive you can't wear this shirt outside, you will get glared at. so that really limits who would buy this shirt.

So the main goal I see is to make a T-shirt that you can wear outside and people won't look at you and think your a creep, but it still means something when you put it on, this is what I came up with.Pretty simple, it doesn't infringe youtube logo's copyright as its just "tube" but the "tube" clearly is from youtube so people know what your talking about. Its kinda funny/witty as its P'Diddy's "Vote or Die" so you will get looks of "cool tshirt" instead of "cum is thicker then blood.... what a weirdo!" overall its not a embarrassing shirt at all to wear and I could picture people wearing this out in public, and the cool part is you don't have to be a fan of mine or anyone's its a simple t shirt that represents youtube, so the amount of people that could buy this is limitless and hits all demographics.

What do you think? Would you buy this? It would be a $10-$15 tshirt as that's how much most T-shirts are worth. I'm still looking into this as I have 2 options buy a large quantity of shirts myself(Med and large and possibly small) and ship the shirts myself to whoever wants one or set something up at http://www.districtlines.com and their companys makes and ships the shirts themselves but obviously they would get a cut from the profit.

I also thought why not let a subscriber make a shirt? They make a shirt design and post it as a video response and the one with the most views/ratings I'll take that one and turn it into a shirt and the person who made the design would get a free shirt. From ratings and views I could gauge how many people are interested in that shirt and I could set up contests along the way.

Like Maybe from all my profit I made on that t-shirt design take a percentage like 5% and use it as a contest for all the people that bought that shirt) Also having someone design a shirt for me would start a new tshirt for me each month. I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS IDEA AND THOUGHT THIS WAS ABSOLUTE GENIUS ON MY PART

So how much is 5% for a contest? Well lets figure out how much money I would make from a shirt. I have almost 8000 subscribers I would guess 5% of that subscriber base would buy a tshirt so 400 people and I would think I could make $2-3 if not more off a t-shirt so 400x2=$800. Thats a good chunk of change for me and $40 for a contest that your automatically entered when you buy a shirt? Thats pretty good deal and if it really takes off I'll be making more money and my contests would be bigger I'm talking Ipods, cds, movie tickets, Rs members cards.....etc.

How cool would that be? I'm not a greedy person and I always want to give back to my subscribers, so the contest thing is absolute must for me, and I think it would be awesome selling point that gives that extra incentive to buy a shirt off me.

But anyways what do you think of this?
(note: this will get turned into a video once I get back from Hong Kong but a little input would be great also note all these numbers and ideas are just ideas but I always round down to compensate for everything. If anything the numbers I used should be higher)

Note: the shirts do not have shipping yet added to them, thats the only downside. So it would be $20 per a shirt aprox.
