Dear friends and partners,

As you know, we went to Easter Island (Rapa Nui) in April 2015 and soon after that we were to consider the call of God for the Polynesian Triangle. We are now getting ready for a new adventure to another corner of that Triangle... Stay tuned!

VISITING MINISTRIES SINCE JANUARY 2016
Since January 2016, we hosted many ministries and have enjoyed their impact. A major portion of our ministry consists of coordinating the schedule of ministries from out of the country or just hosting them in our premises.

1. A YWAM team from Quebec (Canada) of about 10 students (out of a Discipleship Training School) came over to our ministry house in Moorea for roughly 5 weeks since the beginning of the year and was a real blessing to the whole island there. They were invited to minister in other parts of the island and did make a difference in some people's lives. This was actually the second YWAM team hosted in that house since last year and a third team will be staying there very soon.

2. For 10 short days in January 2016, we coordinated the fourth consecutive visit of our friend Pierre-Daniel Martin (prophet from France). The team of pastor Christian Whaap from New Caledonia came this year too for one week along with an amazing troop of Melanesian dancers and a worship leader who stayed at our house. This Caledonian team accompanied the French prophet on the islands of Raiatea and Moorea for a strong impact on a number of people who received healing and God's love through the prophetic. Prior to those islands, Pierre-Daniel was able to visit the island of Rangiroa for the first time and release God's Word for this island and its destiny in Him. Toward the end of his stay, Pierre-Daniel held a seminar that gave a clear picture of the times we are in in God's master plan for the nations and how the islands are being raised up for the end times.

3. We also participated in co-hosting a team of the King's Kids from Switzerland in the course of February that had been touring the South Pacific for a few months. Their ministry focus was the family and how God wants to bring healing, restoration and His shalom into the broken lives of Polynesian families. Their ministry time was cut short with the unexpected death of a relative of the team's leader. His family was to leave quickly back to Europe to attend to the needs of the bereaved family members. We trust that the Lord will bring more ministries that will focus on the need of shattered families ...

A REMARKABLE EMPHASIS ON INTERCESSION
We are so amazed by the call of pastors Gary and Maureen Guardacosta who came to French Polynesia all the way from Alberta (Canada) in order to obey the call of Abba to stand in the gap for the island of Moorea. Their story is phenomenal and we are so happy about their contribution with great teaching about our identity in Christ and as they ministered inner healing and deliverance for 4 weeks in Moorea--at the ministry house--over a number of people during the month of February 2016. Below is just a quote of their own experience and understanding:

"We recently spent a month in Moorea and Tahiti partnering with Edualdo and Aline in Vision of the Harvest. Six years ago God asked us (a couple of Canadians from the frozen north) to participate with Him in His redemptive work in the South Pacific. As we prayed into this situation to discern His plan and strategy for the region and our part in it, He began to reveal additional information over time. ...

We were witnesses to an amazing amount of divine intervention and fruit of the Spirit compressed into a short time frame. There is a growing consensus about the need to ask God to rebuke and expel the evil spirits that have held sway over the region for so long. God’s Spirit is hovering over the islands and calling His people back to Himself.

There is a major effort underway for believers to network and unite in the Triangle to come against the enemy in a concerted way. We will watch with joyful anticipation as the process unfolds, and we stand together in prayer with Edualdo and Aline as they move forward to spearhead this effort.

The Polynesian Islands have a great destiny in God’s plan to bring heaven to earth in the region, and for His word to once again move out from there to “Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth”. Praise Him for seeking each one of us out for His redemptive purposes. "

Our call to stand in the gap has not stopped since we heard we were to commit to a time of intercession three times a week for two hours each time beginning in April 2015. That time has turned into a delightful necessity for our lives and has caused so much more efficiency and less toil along with more peace and joy. Spirit led prayers cause our lives and our thinking to be more into alignment with God's perfect will. We do spend also significant time in listening to the Spirit of God, praying or praising in the Spirit and allowing Abba to bring issues that need to be prayed for or repented from. Gary and Maureen were also instrumental in specifically training a few believers and helped with the setting up of a weekly intercessory group in Moorea.

MISSION AOTEAROA (NEW ZEALAND) -- MAY 12th-26th
In a few days we are off to go to the land of the "long white cloud" (meaning of Aotearoa in Māori). It is actually the Polynesian name presumably given by those who first discovered New Zealand. The story of migrations traces the first people to have settled there from "a region in East Polynesia which Māori later called Hawaiki" around or after 1,000 AD. It just so happens that Hawaiki is the ancient name of the island of Raiatea considered to be the cradle of Polynesian culture and languages located in the Society Islands which include Tahiti. Furthermore, the Māori language and culture are closely related to the other Polynesian islands. Aotearoa is thus definitely connected to the so called "Polynesian Triangle".

As it stands, we are now soon embarking for this new venture with 14 of us going from 3 different locations : Tahiti, Hawaii and California. Unfortunately, the delegation from Easter Island (Rapa Nui) will not be able to come at this time. We believe that this God-ordained mission will bring about significant results and we would like to invite you to join in with your prayers and support (see below).

OUR MISSION TO AOTEAROA IN SHORT
- Listen up to the hearts of the people of the land and receive understanding from Holy Spirit
- Open up spiritual highways and establish sound connections with Aotearoa
- Be the "breach repairers" we are supposed to be
- Make our contribution in love, prayer, and action as the Lord leads (especially among the Maori communities)
- Release the Kingdom of God through prayer & worship, prophetic acts, proclamations, repentance, arts, teaching, etc.
- Create bonds of love and unity of heart and mind with the believers of the island
- Share the vision of the Polynesian Triangle in God's perspective among Christian communities of Aotearoa.

SIGNIFICANCE OF "ASUZA NOW" IN L.A.
Somehow, I see a connection between our trip to Aotearoa and what happened on April 9th, 2016 in Los Angeles to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Azusa Street revival. An article by Lana Vawser*, who received a prophetic insight into what happened there, stuck out to me and gives me great hope for what we will probably experience to some extent in New Zealand:

"... He spoke to me about the PROPHETIC PICTURE that Azusa Now was to the nations. A picture of the UNITY that He is bringing to His body that is releasing FIRE TO THE NATIONS!!!! He is birthing reconciliation, redemption and revival FROM the place of UNITY. Instantly I am taken into a vision, and I see the people of God in ALL the nations across the earth beginning to "join together" in whatever form that takes, crying out to the Lord, moving forward in repentance, being woven together by the love of God IN ONE ACCORD, the Lord is birthing greater MOVEMENTS of PRAYER and UNITY all across the world and it is increasing SIGNIFICANTLY in this season. From people meeting together in houses, to stadiums and everything in between, the Lord is bringing UNITY. The Holy Spirit is leading His people in this season to really deal with past hurts, any divisions and moving forward in repentance and forgiveness that is being birthed from the place of encountering His love. ..."

May 2015 - Trip to Easter Island Report

Dear friends and partners,

We returned from Easter Island since April 28th, 2015. We came back with the sense that we fulfilled our Mission and that the connection with Easter Island (Rapa Nui) has been made. A spiritual highway is now open between Tahiti and Easter Island. The local believers over there are now convinced that they are no longer alone. The sense of isolation and abandonment that the native population has felt over many decades has been replaced by a bond of love and affection in the Lord that will lead to further connections, trips and sharing times.

We know this is but just a new beginning of connections that have a much wider purpose in light of the great harvest of souls yet to happen ...

BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS
The evaluation of the whole trip is EXCELLENT and surpasses our expectations. We were so thankful for our connection with Pastor Alejandro Torres (Templo Evangelico) and his people that have really been a great blessing in many ways. They did take charge of a lot of stuff and we want to be thankful for all of that. We are also thankful for the few times we were able to attend Pastor Urias Alves' church (AOG Brazilian Mission) and his warm welcome. We did manage to attend a very traditional pentecostal church that also welcomed us with unusual warmth and even organized an after-service snack for us.

as we were touring and praying over the island along with some of the local believers

The connection with the unchurched--or Catholic for many of them--folks of the island was excellent and each time we were VERY accepted by the local Rapa Nui population who enjoyed hearing us talk in Tahitian attempting some communication with us. On one of those outreach occasions, we spent about 2 hours ministering to an elderly fellowship hall nearby the central village where our dance group (Hebron Dance) performed Tahitian and Marquesan dances. They did open the hearts of the people there and allowed us to minister the love of Jesus to them. Powerful physical and emotional healings happened and the opportunity for more of God to flow into people's lives as well. The local TV station sent 2 interviewers on site and 2 of the miraculous healings were reported later to the local population.

Overall, we also seem to have made a good impression on the local authorities and it was a special blessing to have a time with the Governor and praying at her office. It was a precious time also praying for all her staff that requested it from us.

A MOVING TIME
I was really praying that somehow the Lord would give us a chance to honor the elders of the island, i.e. those that have gone through the painful experience of those 60+ years of "imprisonment" on their own island (from the very beginning of the 20th century to the mid 60's). This is a time that was even painful for these older Rapa Nui folks to recall.

We were able to arrange a time with the "Nelson Mandela" of the island, Alfonso Rapu. He shared with us one evening along with a great lady, Isabella, the tragic story of an entire native population taken hostage behind barbwire on their own island and how the Chilean military imposed a harsh treatment over them (beatings, humiliations, curfew, punishments) and even restricted their personal freedoms. At one point, the natives were not even allowed to talk their Polynesian language, or even go fishing without requesting permission to do so.

It wasn't until 1966 that finally the Chilean government granted the islanders the full status of citizens of Chile and began building infrastructures on the island (school, roads, hospital, airport, etc.). Alfonso Rapu became the first Rapa Nui mayor of the island in 1967 (the very year Jerusalem became the official and indivisible capital of Israel after the 6-day war).

FUTURE MOVES
Our prayer is really to see that our heavenly Father would cause us to connect as often as we can (including Skype sessions) among entities of the Polynesian Triangle and understand His heart and mind as to His ways and strategies for the end times. We would definitely consider any other trips to Rapa Nui that would be necessary to strengthen and encourage but to also build a vision for the glory of God in the islands. We also believe that our Rapa Nui brethren could also benefit from traveling and connecting with the Body of Christ of other parts of the Polynesian Triangle. We are now praying for our next assignment to another location of the Polynesian Triangle. More on that in our next communication to you ...

- Food miraculous multiplications on 2 occasions (chickens thighs and pork chops)
- Many people healed of their bodies and of their spiritual hearts
- Significant prophetic acts around the island and declaration of the Lordship of Jesus
- Great receptivity of our team among the natives
- Greater unity among believers on the island
- Sense of greater support and fellowship of the island's body of believers with the rest of Polynesia
- Positive impression by local authorities
- Heart connection of Easter Island with the Polynesian Triangle of which they (and us) are a part.

SO MANY WERE GETTING HEALED, I LOST COUNT AFTER THE SECOND DAY
We started off in Tahiti. I preached at two churches, one right after the other. We did healing right after and people came up and got healed and got spoken over. When we went to the Marquesas Island we didn’t have a plan on what we were going to do so we sat down the day before and planned it out. We decided that we were going to go door to door, and walk the streets. Our approach was that we would go up to people, talk with them for a while and then ask if they had any needs that we could pray for, physical healing, job, finances, family issues, God issues, or whatever. We would use that as an 'in' to connect with the people. We were there to bless them with God’s love in whatever way we could. So basically we were going to do what the disciples did in Luke 10.

We started off at a house where we looked for a girl with a specific condition to pray for. We met an older couple who were sitting outside. In much of the culture in these islands, the people spend time outside on their porch. We stated talking with them and they told us that they had pains and conditions all over their body. I forgot what it was, but they all got healed of several things. Then we left and met up with bunch of people. We prayed for others and prophesied over them and then another guy comes up, sees what we’re doing and he gets healed. We walk up the street and run in to the guy who picked us up from the airport. He was outside of his house with some of his family. We talk to them, and his dad and sister get healed and tell them about Jesus’ love and how they can walk in the fullness. We go up the street to pray for another guy and I see a guy riding his bike with a big brace on his right knee. He gets healed, takes off his brace and gets the gospel of the kingdom preached to him. The guy hardly knew anything about Jesus. We went out to another village and walked up and down the streets. One of the mayors and his workers get healed. We walked up the street, found more people sitting outside their houses. They all got healed and prophesied over and preached to. We prayed for another guy in another town with a bad infection on his leg. All the pain left and the crowd that gathered around him while we prayed got witness it and got to hear all about the kingdom.

Next day, went to another town and more people got healed and prophesied over. One guy who was in his 60's had braces and could hardly walk. He felt the tingling going through his legs and back when we prayed. His back started to straighten and his legs began to get stronger. He started walking with one brace. He still needed more prayer. We came back the next day and some of the pain returned. I knew we were dealing with a demonic infirmity. We prayed again and the pain left again. His back was even straighter and he started walking without his braces for the first time in years. This guy was a believer but his faith had faded over the years. We taught him, for a while, how to really walk with Jesus and about His identity so he will learn how to maintain his healing. Then we went to a lady’s house that was in her 70’s to pray for her cataracts. We had to do it before her daughter came home who was a Jehovah’s Witness. She got healed and got her vision back and could see. We told her all about Jesus why He is the best thing ever. We thought that would be a good gift for her daughter to come home to. We saw some more healing and did a whole lot more ministry the rest of the day. And all this was just from the first island we stayed at.

What the Devil doesn’t want you to know about yourself

You are not powerless or helpless against anything. You have ALL power and ALL authority because Jesus gave it to you (Luke 10:19, Matt. 28:18).

This is what people need to be taught so they can live as constant victors, not constant victims.

I spent 6 years of my Christian life as a victim, thinking I was stuck in depression and sin and that I had to beg God to do everything and fight every battle for me, thus missing everything He already did and gave to me. I already have everything needed to win (2 Peter 1:3), to always live from victory, and not always be searching and begging God for it.

Jesus already won, I’m in Him, so I won, too. He said, “You WILL have trouble in this world.” (John 16:33) that’s a promise. Many Christians stop there and aren’t taught the rest of the statement. He went on to say, “Take heart! I have overcome the world!” Why should you be excited and happy because He has overcome the world? Because you are one spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:17)!

If He has overcome the world, so have you.

It’s not a future tense thing, He didn’t say, “Take heart, someday I will overcome the world!” He said He already has. If He has already overcome all the trouble in the world, so have I. The problem is we get sucked into thinking from a now perspective were we are still trying to win. I already won, I don’t beg God for victory, I use the power and authority that He gave me to enforce the victory I already have in Christ.

I always win, I never lose (2 Cor. 2:14). I’m not helpless, I’m full of power. I’m not a victim, I’m a victor. I don’t look for victory, I live from it. I don’t need to beg God to fight my battles, He gave me power and authority and told me to trample on the works of the devil (Luke 10:19). Should you feel ashamed and inferior for asking God for help? Not at all! You are growing and learning, as am I. He’s the guy who said, “Ask and you shall receive.” There is nothing wrong with asking, but the point is not to get stuck in this idea that He is up there and you are down here, and you constantly need him to come to your rescue. He lives in you.

He lives in me, He goes where I go. I’m not powerless against sickness, diseases, depression, stress, worry, or any of that other garbage. I am victorious every time. I always win, I never lose, even when I feel like I have. My nature is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22), those are the fruits of the Spirit who lives in me, who is also one Spirit with me.

Does any of this mean you will never face opposition or get into battles? No. Jesus promised you trouble. What I’m saying is that you will always win if you use what God gave you and stop believing the lie that you are lacking and need a better anointing or a stronger gift before you can receive what he has for you.

Dear friends and partners,

The amazing transformation SAGA is moving ahead and since the end of 2012, the ultimate call for intercession has been ringing loud and clear for the believers in Tahiti. Why? Because the heavenly realms of our nation are loaded with angelic activity that should soon give birth to major breakthroughs and turn around situations... (including our last legislatives elections of May 5th that have witnessed the amazing return of the autonomists in power and, furthermore, with the strong advance of a party believed to be crushed for ever!!!) ...

Actually, we are now convinced that something is happening to build up the Body of Christ of French Polynesia that it may take ownership of its calling to become salt and light in the midst of an increasingly disillusioned population groping in the dark of unfulfilled political promises that have moved the nation into a great inner turmoil.

THE TRANSFORMATION CENTER UPDATE
The testing of our faith has been obvious in 2012 with the financial pressures we've experienced all year long trying to believe for God's provision toward the Transformation Center (which is now closed as you know since the end of 2012).
The first great news however is that our ministry debt is now COMPLETELY COVERED!!! We made our final payment on May 29th concerning the late 2012 rents of the Transformation Center's hall in Papeete and we did keep our committment toward the owner (by God's grace of course)!!! Rejoice with us for this amazing blessing!!! THANK YOU for your support and prayers that have been timely and strategic!!!!!

HAWAIIAN ADVENTURE IN TAHITI in APRIL 2013
Also we did enjoy having our amazing Hawaiian troop made up of 5 powerful women (Gleni, Moea, Kathy, Eva, Dedrie) who did raise their own support to come and bless our nation in April 2013 for a week. Their message was very clear, "Tahitian brothers & sisters get out from your confortable indoors and go with the HS fire into the highways and byways... tell them about His love, pray for them, bless them, heal them, love on them, the harvest is ripe, the time is NOW!!!"

"THE POWER OF MONEY" SEMINARS in MAY 2013
More recently we've been helping out organizing the stay of a ministry from Switzerland that has been carrying a powerful teaching on how to become "faithful and prosperous stewards on behalf of God who is the actual owner". Their name is Kurt and Lis Buehlmann and they have already taught a 6-day financial seminar and a business seminar this month of May. On June 1st, 2013 they had their last public appearance with a Conference on the Economic and Financial crisis the world is experiencing and shared some of the answers to this major crisis. These sessions have raised the importance for believers to become a lot more aware and obedient with regards to wealth and money. The contrast between the World System values vs the Kingdom of God values gave a great insight into assets, wealth and money.

The very interesting thing is that a good number of participants were not born again believers when they first enrolled but ended up receiving salvation by faith by the end of the 6-day financial seminar! As a matter of fact we numbered about 130 people present at the last day of that very seminar which took place in the town of Paea and about 30 of them made profession of faith that evening! Glory to GOD!!!

A TRIP TO THE MARQUESAS ISLANDS IN JULY 2013
We would request your prayers for our forthcoming 10-day trip to the Marquesas islands this July for an outreach into 2 islands (Ua Pou and Hiva Oa) along with some friends and intercessors that have also heard the call to reach out to those remote islands of the Northern most part of French Polynesia. We will be 8 people in all (including Aline and I). We believe that we need special support:
- for protection (spiritual and physical),
- for God encounters (signs, wonders, miracles, healings, salvations),
- for impact unto long lasting transformation of many lives and
- for holy boldness to make the message of the Kingdom known in both of those islands.

From the beginning of 2012 we heard the word that this year was going to be a stretching year for our faith. The following quotes from a sermon that Bill Johnson preached in 2012 brings a lot of hope and actually stirs our faith for more of Him!!

"All growth is rewarded with pruning that insures fruitfulness for the next season"

Weeping in the night ... Joy in the morning - it's the way it works folks!! It is actually accelerated NOW...

"Our Reference Point is the Cross!!!"

There has to be a place of brokenness. We cannot afford to forget -- we don't want vines with just leaves ... and no fruit!! Life is supposed to be the reward for loss...

For the joy set before Him, He endured the Cross.

Strength is perfected in weakness...
We might be one Cross away from victory!! ...
We don't want reward by striving or self promotion!!!

Never has our life been processed so drastically ... We want to EMBRACE THE CROSS!!!

GIVING UP THE LEASE OF THE CENTER
Since the last week of June 2012, Aline and I felt very strongly we needed to give up the Transformation Center facility we have in downtown Papeete. We have a great sense of peace about this decision. We did try other options like opening the use of the facility to other groups that might have wanted to help relieve the financial burden and we also thought that with our daughter's plan to use the Center for her Zumba classes, it could have helped to cover the cost of rental (+ other costs such as utilities, rental charges, insurance,...). Unfortunately, even with Erika's potential sublease of the Center, it wouldn't have covered for the amount that we need to put out every month for the Center.

We also communicated this financial challenge in the beginning of 2012 to local believers who know the Center and what was organized there since 2011. We wanted to make them aware of the needs and see how the challenge could be met locally. Apart from a handful of people that have kept up a monthly commitment for Vision of the Harvest's needs, we have not seen much consistency in the support that has been declining over weeks and months. However, we have lately been astounded with totally unexpected donations locally and from overseas that have allowed us to catch up significantly with late rents due for the Center. Also, on August 2nd, we organized the sales of 270 baked chickens and raised close to $ 2,000 US dollars. Other support raising events are planned for September.

The response of the owner has been amazing!! He offered to help with the advertising on public newspapers and contacting real estate agencies so that the word gets out about the facility being now open for rental. However, we are bound to the current lease that mentions a 6-month notice until somebody takes over the facility. We are thus asking you to pray that it will be taken over ASAP and that we will be released from our current lease. We still have the Upper Room (much smaller) but still a good location we can use until we find another facility more affordable and suitable to our needs.

THE THURNERS' KAIROS TIME
We would like to take this opportunity to salute the amazing contribution of our ministry friends and coaches Earl & Jana Thurner who have made it possible for us to have extraordinary breakthroughs thanks to their initial committment (in Feb/March 2011) to rent the current facility of the Transformation Center along with the vision of the School of Transformation and the ensuing move of the Holy Spirit that we enjoyed up to this time. They have been giving sacrificially to see to it that the Center could be launched and covered for especially during the first year of its operation. They have also shared a much clearer vision of God's Reformation in the Body of Christ in order to facilitate revival which God wants for our nation. Earl & Jana are presently more involved in some nations of Latin America especially in Honduras where they have been invited to take part to a project (One Day One Nation) which aims to see the transformation of the entire nation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGiarLEieCE&feature=share and http://vimeo.com/44062510). They do have a heart for French Polynesia and we will be working with them as to their future involvement into a wider scale impact over our nation.

WE MOVED TO ANOTHER HOUSE
Since April 2012 we now live in Papeete, the capital city. It has been a blessing in many ways:
- We have less driving needs;
- It is 10 mns walk from downtown, the beautiful Paofai Gardens Park, the banks, the post office, etc.;
- We can exercise easily by climbing the mountain accross from our house;
- The house is more comfortable: the kitchen is 3 times larger than the one we had, the veranda is huge (as big as the house itself) with more hosting potential and there is more natural light to the house.
The move was necessary and we are happy we did it.

KIDS ARE ON THE GO...
Three out of 4 of our kids are or have been overseas for various reasons. I guess we infected them with that adventurous bug...
1. Kori just came back from Cambodia and has been staying in South-East Asia since November 2011 where she went around from the Philippines to Malaysia via Singapore and then on to Vietnam to end up in Cambodia. There she got a 6-month contract working for a French firm. She is scheduled to fly back to France (Toulouse) in September in order to complete her final year of Political Science studies.
2. Erika was in Hawaii where she completed a 6-8 weeks internship with Wet-n-Wild in Oahu as part of her requirement with her schooling in Tahiti with an "International Trade" major. She took advantage of this time there for more Zumba training. She is now back with many plans, ideas, dreams and much stamina to move on...
3. Silvio is now attending his 4th quarter at the "Los Angeles Music Academy" (LAMA) in Pasadena, California. He is really excited to perfect his musical talent and hopes to complete his "Guitar" major studies by the end of March 2013.

Benji is still with us and will be attending his last year of vocational high school with a computer science focus.

THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE BLOWING...

On Sunday, July 29th, 2012 during a church service in Papeete, I had a vision after I was just asking the Lord what He was doing in the spiritual realms so that I would get a better grasp of what we are going through here in Tahiti... and here is what I experienced. I went up in the spirit and saw powerful winds blowing so STRONGLY that I could see trees bending almost to the ground due to the pressure of the winds. There was a tremendous light in that scene and I asked the Lord what those winds were. I heard they were the "WINDS OF CHANGE" that are blowing over the nations that will be causing major changes and which will cause powerful waves/currents of God's Spirit to be moving into the nations to bring the transformation that is needed. I also received that those winds were aimed at frustrating the plans/plots of the nations (cf Ps. 2:1-6).

Then I heard two words, "BRACE YOURSELVES" because the power of those winds and waves is such that things will be quite hard or shaky in the natural and that we need to really focus our attention to Heaven so that we don't get carried away by discouragement, fear, or depression... Those winds are in fact not supposed to crush the believers but rather to allow them to prepare and strengthen the Body for the Great Harvest coming upon the earth. I believe that to some extent these winds are indeed already blowing ... Let's get ready!!!!

ALINE - We may leave the Center but the vision is alive and well. As I was climbing up the mountain in front of our house praying and praising God, a thought came so strong and it was "The center is only a means, the vision has not lost a wrinkle". Oh my! I was so encouraged and when I came home I shared with Edualdo how God had talked to me so clearly.

We are attempting in this letter to give you a quick update on the many happenings that we've experienced since last summer:

LOOKING BRIEFLY AT 2011 UP TO NOW
It's been very amazing what God has been doing in 2011 in Tahiti. I have even been at loss writing a newsletter because of the many things that have kept us quite busy and which I am going to list non-exhaustively such as

- meetings (4 times a week) with an amazing sense of the presence of the Holy Spirit (we have never been so refreshed in almost 20 years of ministry as it has been with this amazing move of the Spirit);

- healing of hearts and bodies in an increasing measure (healing is really becoming the bread of God's children and beyond that a blessing to anybody who receives healing just because we believe that God is a good Daddy and that He does whatever He does just becauses His nature is to love and to do good);

- transformation causing families to be blessed (such as this sister that has seen the Lord bring such a transformation to her life that her husband has been wanting to go to church and go to Bible studies after he had never had any desire for spirituality);

- the message of the Kingdom of God is really becoming the forefront message we see at the core of the Good News... it becomes increasingly obvious that as the Church becomes more concerned for the Kingdom of God to be manifested on earth (as it is in Heaven) and less with promoting herself that a much greater response is coming to the fore with people that have had no interest in Christianity as they've seen it for too long (self-righteous, judgemental, insulated from the world). There is great openness for a Gospel that brings forth the good news of life, forgiveness, grace, healing, and love and stays away from a doom and gloom message;

- that is actually what we are trying to convey to our students at the School of Transformation which has been taking place every Saturday afternoon since last Fall with 16 students enrolled (apart from a 6 week break from December 2011 to January 2012);

- in November and December 2011 we held 2 retreats with about 50 then 40 folks (with also children and some youth) that helped us bring home a greater understanding

of our Father in Heaven that actually runs to us (see Luke 15--prodigal son story) and kisses us all over before we can even conceive of being able to run to Him with all the baggage of hurt, shame, brokenness and sense of worthlessness people carry in our islands. The son didn't actually even feel worthy of being called a "son" and was willing to just being a "servant" (sounds like a lot of the Christianity we know where people can at best desire to serve God without that sense of being cherished by Him in such a very special and intimate way);
of the things our Father has in store for his children making us aware of the gifts that each has received from Him in order to feel a part of His purposes over the nations which he is wanting to harvest ever since Jesus gave that mandate to His disciples to go... The second retreat was also a great opportunity to embrace His heart and His call as He gave us some understanding as to what to expect in 2012 (more miracles, greater abundance, more souls into the Kingdom, a greater sense of His holiness, a move toward greater unity in the Body of Christ, ...)

- we now have gone out into the streets of Papeete a few times and believers (who actually come from various church backgrounds) are learning to reach out to others and use their spiritual gifts over people who do not have a clue about the great God we love and serve. Many healings have taken place at the Market in downtown as we've gone to the various store owners and offered them to bless their business. We have people get healed from kidney problems or even stomach pains, or high blood pressure. It is amazing to see the response of people once they realize that their sickness and disease is being healed by the power of His name and the laying on of our hands;

There is so much that we thank God for and we know that what we see now is just but a small beginning of what will become a tsunami of His glory over the islands of French Polynesia!! No doubt in our hearts by the way!!! Many promises have come our way and we know that His word will be fulfilled... i.e. that "the knowledge of His glory will fill the earth, like the waters cover the sea..."

KIDS' CORNER

They are growing!!

- Kori (23) is currently in Cambodia

touring South East Asia with her boyfriend (Alex). She went to the

Philippines

first (Alex joined her there from

France

) in November 2011 from Tahiti and then they went to

Singapore

Malaysia

Vietnam

and

Cambodia

. Kori was excited to visit Aline's family home town, Dalat (birthplace of Aline). Actually Kori took a one year break from her Political Science studies in

France

and she should go back to

France

to complete her studies next Fall.

- Erika (21 next month) is now doing a technical 2 year training in International Trade in Tahiti (after her 3 years as a BSSM student in the USA) -- BSSM = Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry (she did 2 years in Redding, CA and 1 year internship in Maui, HI). She loves Zumba and is also a Zumba instructor which allows her to make some money and help finance her studies.
- Silvio (19) is a student at LAMA (Los Angeles Music Academy) in Pasadena, California (where he was born during the Fuller Theological Seminary days...)!! This guy is a nut for guitar and is soooo passionate about that. He could spend hours playing and perfecting pieces of music. This is a good challenge for him because it's the very first time he is on his own to care for his life and take charge (that's another great learning experience...)
- Benjamin (17) is in vocational high school with us in Tahiti and loves his major in electronics and computer science. He is a geek and spends many hours on his PC doing graphic arts and watching Manga movies... He is a fan of rubgy and beginning in March he will be going back to play it with his club because he had to recover from a broken shoulder and wasn't allowed to play for 6 months ... very hard for him!!!

MOVING ON ...
As for Aline, she continues teaching English one day a week at the local prison (for the last 3 years now). She loves every minute of it. She really believes revival is going to hit the prison. For years inmates have been singing praises and hymnals early in the morning and late in the afternoon in their cells. It is so easy to talk to them about Jesus, such an openness... amazing. She sometimes prays for them or chats with them about God and they are always so eager to listen . Somehow they sense she has a deep respect for who they are regardless of what they have done in the past. She also teaches French 10 hours a week at a junior high school nearby. Most kids come from very difficult backgrounds and there are many opportunities to shine for Jesus. The other day Erika said to Aline “Mom since you teach difficult kids (5 years now) you have been more patient” … Thank you Jesus! I guess she has learned not to judge so quickly and, honestly, when you know the background of some of these kids you wonder how they made it so far to survive and compassion does increase. In fact, 3 out of 10 students in her classes have their dads in jail.

I (Edualdo) am in charge of the ministry that by now you know as “Vision of the Harvest”. Some homeless are coming, people from all kinds of backgrounds. One of the things that come often in testimonies is that people feel loved and this is great news to us because nothing else would be meaningful without it! Since the last part of 2010 we have welcomed quite a few YWAM teams (from Hawaii,

New Zealand

, New Caledonia,

Australia

Canada

France

) coming for outreaches in Tahiti and her islands. We host once a month a night of Praise and Worship with different worship groups or individuals and the presence of the HS has been tangible. We continue the Marama Nights (evenings of fun, music and testimonies, prayers for the sick, for families and youth at the local Mc Donald in Papeete) once every 3 months or so. Last November, we’ve had the coming of Philippe Auzenet, a French evangelist and he held seminars on sexual identities (how to love, help and minister to those suffering with sexual addictions, abuse, etc). He also led a seminar on inner healing and suffering. He was well covered on local TVs, radios and newspapers.

Our hearts continue to burn for the lost and we seek God for creative ways to reach out also through arts and prophetic dance. We have a group led by a dancer who is on fire to share her passion for Jesus through dance. This month (February) we are focusing on intercession with intentionally seeking God for our lives to impact the nation.

The presence of God was tangible last night (Sept. 2nd, 2011) at the Transformation Center in Papeete (Tahiti) and up to this morning! God was touched by our praises and our worship in spirit and in truth. The "eagles" began to rise up and go to the heights by their worship and even some are starting to experience a restoration and a new beginning by the Holy Spirit. This time has blessed the Father and rejoiced the Son. Someone even said: "It was the most beautiful night of my life!" Thank you to all those who have come from various Christian settings with their praise and a heart ready to worship our Lord Jesus Christ who couldn't help but also heal sick bodies and hearts. Thanks also to those who have prayed from a distance, being in fellowship of spirit and who contributed to the success of this event (which will not be the last...).

God is definitely calling many "eagles" to rise beyond personal circumstances and see from afar that which He is preparing for those He loves. His heart was inviting us to come up higher and soar with Him to "new atmospheres" where the perspective is so much clearer and where we are able to see, hear and know the very intentions of His heart for our nation. We heard many good words, one of which was that this bunch of eagles coming higher in God are preparing the way for an unprecedented move of His glory over French Polynesia that will impact the people of the islands unto salvation, healing and a revelation of His love (cf Is. 40).

Exciting things are happening ... We are very encouraged. We will have two of our friends share some of them (in blue print) ...

A DREAM
Magalie actually had this dream around mid-June and she shared it to Edualdo and I on Friday, August 12th
You guys asked me to housesit for you while you would be gone away on a trip and you gave me some instructions: 'Rest well, do not work, only do what God tells you to do. Do not worry about anything else!' Then you guys left.
In the middle of the night, at 2:00 AM sharp, I heard banging on the gate and as I woke up to see what was going on. A man was there covered with blisters and puss all over his body and he said, 'I want to go into Aline and Edualdo's swimming pool because when I'll go, I know I will be healed.' (Aline--in the natural, we do not have a pool)
I (Magalie) was very hesitant and I said 'but they are not home' to which he responded: 'Never mind, they would let me come in if they were here ... please let me in' ... He was so insistent that I let him in. As soon as he came out of the pool, he was completely healed! By the way, he was all naked (Aline--at this point I asked Magalie if she was shocked by his nakeness to which she said, 'Oh no, not at all, I had so much compassion because he had blisters and opened wounds all over his body').

Then there was another banging on the gate ... as I opened, I saw a crowd of people, so many of them, some lame, others handicapped, blind folks, people with missing limbs, cancers, old and young standing in line and waiting to come in through the gate and jump in the pool. So I let them in and they took their turn to go in the pool, get healed and leave. It went on for 10 days night and day. I was very tired but all I did was to welcome them and bless them as they left!"

WOW !!!!!!!!!! Three days before Magalie told us the dream, Edualdo got up during the night with Matthew 14:14 -- "When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick" -- the verse took on a greater significance to us after Magalie told us the dream above! We were so excited and also in awe of what God is about to do in this nation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God was moving a lot in our hearts in the area of compassion and healing ... but now even more!

HEALING SEMINAR (Aug. 5th and 6th)
A report from Torea Manjard who taught 2 sessions -- "This is a praise report from our last ''Healing and the Kingdom'' week end. Our goal was to take advantage of the momentum that was gained last year to soar even higher in the realities of the Kingdom in order to see Tahiti become all that she's called to be : a beacon of God's glory in the South Pacific, a place of refuge for the broken and needy, and so much more. We had about 3 or 4 people healed of different eye diseases. One of 'em couldn't drive at night and could hardly read his bible, he came forward to testify of his healing with a bible in his hands. Another person had had surgery in her left eye that had left it in major discomfort even after 2 months, the discomfort and pain left progressively until it was completely gone at the end of the week end. Another one removed his glasses and began to extatically testify of the presence of God he felt coming over his eyes. Among other ones, a young man received a revelation about God being so much bigger than any sickness which resulted in the complete disappearing of a stubborn pain in his belly he had been experiencing for a couple of days. We are expecting many more testimonies to come in during the next few days and would like to take advantage of this report to thank all of you for standing with ''Visions of the Harvest" ministry (Earl & Jana Thurner, Edualdo & Aline Cicero, and ourselves) in prayer to see Jesus becoming the desire of this nation. We love y'all !! ''Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end'' Isaiah 9 : 7"

We were deeply moved because our brother Torea and fellow in the ministry has been sick for so long (with a congenital kidney disease) and he was very strong to declare that we should not build our belief about healing around our own experience but according to the Word of God! In other words, the Jesus in us is not sick, He is totally healthy. Therefore, we can pray with boldness for the healing of the sick regardless of how we feel or how sick we may be, believing for our own healing which has already been purchased at Calvary for us!!

YOUTH WITH A MISSION (YWAM) TEAM
We have been blessed in the last few months with YWAM teams from France, French Canada, and Hawaii/New Zealand. Each team is different and each one brings a unique touch of the goodness of God to this nation and especially among our youth. We often help coordinating the teams' schedule. We have lots in mind for the coming months: Healing Rooms, Treasure Hunts, Marama Nights, and another session of the School of Transformation beginning on September 24th ... Right now we are getting ready for a praise and worship night to be held at the Center of Transformation before the end of August.

FAMILY NEWS
Our 3 weeks (June/July 2011) in France were great. We went there as a family. The purpose was to visit our relatives and especially our fathers. My father (Aline) is 93 years old and Edualdo's is 83. We were able to drive to Spain and spend 2 days there and 2 days in Paris with Kori as our guide. Special memories to last for a lifetime!

Kori (23) will take a one year break from her studies and is looking for job openings in Asia. Erika (20) will start at the end of August her 2-year business school in Tahiti. Silvio (19) will fulfill his dream to study music in Pasadena (guitar performance major at LAMA "Los Angeles Music Academy") and Benji (16) will continue vocational high school (computer major) in Tahiti.

Psalm 27:4
One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD

to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to inquire[a] in his temple.

We will have an all night praise and worship with the YWAM group of Hawaii and other guests who will join us during that night which promises to be full of the Presence of God. The purpose of this night is to wait upon Him and bring to Him the praises of our hearts so as to allow Him to come sit as King in our midst and for us to be ravished by His glory and His magnificence. You may bring your mat and pillow (and some finger food if you feel you need that). We will complete the night of praise in the early morning (Saturday, Sept. 3rd) with a fellowship breakfast... Those of you who are far from us, feel free to join us wherever you may be and encourage other people to do it together!
