The beautiful Passionflower, a symbol of passion for living, loving, and zest for the quest of life itself but are you doing what you want with your life  ?    How do you recapture that zest for life, when the spark has gone and you need to re-ignite it ?  The fastest way I know is to take up something you have a passion for and it will spread across into all areas of

Everyday Sacred by Sue Bender looks at  on accepting what everyday has to offer and how everything is sacred and can be seen with new eyes if we are open to it.   Her book is a must read for anyone who is questioning where they are at and where they are going and lets face it, that's probably most of us if we admit it.  Take a look at the Table of Contents to see how she

Go with the flow and somewhere, amidst the swirls of life there will be a pattern of circumstances you will be drawn to - this will be your path to creativity and yours alone.  It might not look great at first, it might even look too difficult to head on into and if you are not careful you might even miss it. Don't worry if it doesn't appear like the image you have in your mind, it will all

What do you see when you look at this photo. Two people or  leaves arranged in a strange pattern ? I took this photo as I really liked the play of light and shadow on the Lotus leaves  and when I came to edit it the two figures popped up on my screen and it got me thinking along the lines of tree spirits and nature spirits.  Do they exist ? Do plants have a "Mother Spirit" -

This fabulous photo reminds me every day to look for the gold within every situation.  There is always some small, bit of gold dust or if you are lucky a huge great gold nugget in any situation you are in. I read a book once about this dude  who used to sit on a rock and wonder how he could make his fortune, he sat day after day and thought how he could sell the farm and go somewhere

Water Lilies, beautiful,  tranquil, serene, yet beneath the surface there are flexible and strong supports that move and sway  with each ripple, each tiny movement of the water is experienced by the lilies as they are at one with the energies of the water yet they move to their own rhythm, their own beat of the drum. A world, within a world

Who is driving your bus, are you being towed by the nose to someplace you don't want to go ? Where is your river taking you in your life ? Are you a leaf being pushed around with the forces of the rivers of life  or are you moving to your own energy patterns ? Are you moving to the beat of your own drum or are you dancing to someone elses tune ?    It is pretty easy to just

Where are you in life ? Where are you heading ? What do you want out of life ?So easy until you really stop to think about what it is you really want.I read this book called "I could do anything .. if only I knew what it was" by Barbara Sher with Barbara Smith Hah Hah ! Well put by the authors I think !! Very true, while most of us drift around like rudderless boats there seem to be the

Today I held a day old baby Pheasant in my hands. It was like holding the rhythm of life in my hands - serene and placid in my palms, pulsating with possibilities and when I set it down it took off running like a harrier. It's like setting your reality in motion - you drift about almost stationary until you set a direction or goal to head towards them wham - almost faster than lightening -

Today I was excited to read a fascinating article about spending money and eventually your accumulated wealth mindfully and how every dollar we spend "votes" for the item we spend it on.Mike Adams in his Natural News report comes up heaps of amazing and interesting concepts.Think about it - each and every dollar we spend supports something and perpetrates the continuance of it whether it is
