The Expendables

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Mon, 23 Aug 2010 17:19:00 +0000

I can just say that movie met my expectations. With all these great actors in the same place, the film need to be excellent. There are a lot of action, shooting and everything that is related to a good action movie.

One of the best scenes is when Stallone and Schwarzenegger were in the church with Bruce Willis. When Schwarzenegger came out, Willis asked Stallone : What's his fucking problem?, And Stallone said: He wants to be the president.
The whole cinema started to laugh. Legendary scene.

I don't want to write more about the film. It would be better to see the movie yourself.

Top 5 movies

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Sun, 22 Aug 2010 15:52:00 +0000

Here is the list of my top 5 movies. List doesn't need to go necessarily in that order.

1. Inception

2. The Godfather

3. The Lord of the Rings

4. Shutter Island

5. Iron Man

I choose Inception because movie have unique and interesting story. I haven't seen any similiar movie. I like this movie because it makes you to think about it. You need to connect some things, not just stare at big screen without using a brain for a two and a half hour. I also wrote about movie Inception few posts before.

I like Godfather because it shows us life of an mafia in past century. Unique story that shows us life of one Mafia family through few generations. I like all three parts of Godfather.

The Lord of the Rings is great adventure with all that different races placed in one movie: hobbits, humans, elves, dwarfs, wizards, ents, trolls, orcs and others. And with Peter Jackson as director, movie has to be fabulous.

I placed Shutter Island on my list because it left an impression on me. All that mystery and human psychology created a great story.

An the last, but not less important movie is Iron Man. Iron Man is not the classic story about the superhero with superpowers. He was a major arms producer that had the technology and inteligence to create Iron Man suit. It's not something impossible, all this will probably be possible in the near future . Well, not maybe near future, but it will be possible. All that, combined with a bunch of special effects and good story puts Iron Man on my list of top 5 movies.

What's your top 5 list of movies and why?

Lucid Dream

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Tue, 17 Aug 2010 17:49:00 +0000

Do you know what is lucid dream? Well, simply, its a dream in which you know that you are dreaming. You are aware of everything that happens to you in dream and you can manage and control your dreams. I think that lucid dreams are very powerful thing. Imagine that you can live two lives. During the day you can live one life, and during the night you can live another life. Every night you can continue your second life. In your lucid dreams you can achieve what awake you would never be able to achieve. It is amazing thing. Most people that have lucid dreams wake up just few seconds after they realize that they are in dream. There are some tehnics which can help you to have lucid dreams and even enhance the status of lucidity and thereby gain greater control over your own lucid dreams.

One of the tehniques is to write your dreams and keep dream journals. It's better that you do that as quickly as possible after you wake up because you will remember your dreams better with more details.

Another tehnique is to stay aware during the stage which is within the border of being awake and being asleep. If you menage to do it, you will be fully aware that you are in dream.

There is also tehnique that includes performing an constant actions, such as setting alarm clock to ring every two minutes while you are awake so when you enter the dream you realize that alarm does not ring and then you realize that you are dreaming.

There is also idea of group dreaming. Imagine that you can dream with your friends and live another life together with your friends, or maybe you can enter in someone else's dream. Althought there is no scientific evidence, there are people that claim that they have experienced group dreaming.

Dream Job

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Thu, 12 Aug 2010 10:46:00 +0000

Hello, I have been on sea last weekend, again, and I didn't had internet there. I enjoyed there, and I rested a bit from technology.

Soon I will have to decide which collage I will attend. I think that this is big decision because after you finish collage you will probably work that job for the rest of your life, or at least few years. I still don't have clear idea to which collage I should go. I don't think that any collage is to hard, just you need to pick right one and finish it.

What is your dream job, or job that you would like to work in your life?

Inception Movie

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Wed, 04 Aug 2010 10:35:00 +0000

Few days ago I watched movie Inception. I think that movie is absolute great, especially I liked the complexity of the film. Even Director Christoper Nolan said that Inception was the most demanding project in his career. It was definetly one of the best movies I watched recently.

The movie Inception reminds me little to Martin Scorsese's movie Shutter Island also with Leonardo DiCaprio. Shutter Island is also complex and at the end of the movie some people don't know what really happen, is he crazy or not, so you need to watch movie twice to see some details in the movie that shows what really happen at the end. People who watched Shutter Island will know about what I'm talking about.

Same was in the end of Inception. At the end Cobb's totem was still spinning so that brings the question, was he still in his dream or it was real? I think that there are evidences that support both options so it's up to you that decide what was truth.

This is the reason why I like those movies. When the movie is over it brings some questions and you think about that movie for some time.

I also have question for you. What was the best movie you watched recently?

Crazy Dream

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Sun, 01 Aug 2010 09:49:00 +0000

Last night I had great dream. I was dreaming that I got book with results of football matches for next few months. I went to every betting and I won large amount of money in just few days. Not a bad dream, right?

Most dreams come from your thoughts and emotions during a day, but some people says that some dreams can show you future. I don't have to get that book, I can also win a lottery, but I don't think that this will happen.

Summer Holidays

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Sat, 31 Jul 2010 10:47:00 +0000

Only one month of summer holidays is left and after that another school year starts again. I don't like school so much but at home it can be so boring sometimes. When school year is at the end, you can't wait that summer holidays finally come. And when they finally come, I usually relax from school first two or three weeks, I'm going to vacation and I'm enjoying without school and obligations. But after some time it can become really boring at home, especially if all your friends went on vacations at sea or mountains, so you don't have nobody to hang out with. But I think that even this situation is better than be at school or work, right?

My question for you is what are you doing during summer holidays? Do you spend it at home, do you go on vacation or maybe you work?

Driving School

noreply@blogger.com (Michael) — Thu, 29 Jul 2010 12:14:00 +0000

Hello to all. I just came from Driving School. I just started to drive in Driving School, but I think that I drive good. I have drove even before Driving School. Now feeling is different because the instructor is sitting next to you and he tells you if you did something wrong or if you forgot to do something.

I heard that in some countries you can get driver license in only one day. In the morning you need to pass the test on the computer and after that you drive car around the block and if you driving good you get driver licence. And all that for funny price of about 20 dollars. I don't know is that true, but if it is, that is amazing. I really don't understand how then in those countries they don't have accidents at every corner.

I need to pay more than 1300 dollars for my Driving School and average you need about two months to get your driver license. And after that many people still have accidents, how then they wouldn't have so many accidents in those countries where you can get driver license in just one day, and with 16 years.

What do you think about all that? Do you think that it's better to get driver licence in one day with 16 years or in two months with 18 years and what are yours experiences from Driving School? Did you liked Driving School or not, and why if not?
