Christmas was fun when it was with great people, positive environment and attitude. Mine was fantastic!

Night before the eve, I was with the group of besties and I had my best gift exchange sessions ever. Unstoppable laughter till my stomach close to explosion and then we are there at Fine Cuts! (nice and cheap Western restaurant located at the basement of Central Mall at Eu Tong Sen Street). I got an epilator from SuPing as my main gift and tumbler, handcream, bath set as small gifts from the rest of my dears. It was great cause everything were on my wishlist and thank you for all the quality time spent together. I had a great night with you girls.

First year in Singapore, I went to the common place - Orchard and was an experience. Spraying of white snow in bottle,though got slightly conned in purchasing colored snow in bottle which was far away from what I've expected. Sigh, and it rained on the night where I was expecting a lot funny stuff from the crowd. Luckily I hung out with few friendly friends and had a great night with them.

Then on the Christmas day itself, I went to Orchard again with the same gang and shop around. Despite the crowd, was a good sight seeing on the street when the Sun still up. A peaceful outing with them. Due to tired night a day before.

Great that Christmas falls on Sunday,means extra holiday on Monday. Went out with roomate and the gang, for a fun and laughter-bursting singing session. From oldies to latest pop songs, admired all their voices. Loving it when there's a pool table for me, though SGD 2 per game, managed to grabbed the cue and hit few balls. And I end the night with Sherlock Holmes the movie, my great handsome manly hairy actor "Robert".

And before I end this Christmas post, share with you some 'studio' pictures. Together with some wacky crazy colleagues.

Was having dinner and meet up with the gang, in a busy crowded food court. A sudden scream for attention from a decent dresses man " Hello ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please! Do you have any male relatives of the age from 60-70s here with you! I repeat, a senior male aged from 60-70s!"

The crowd were slient, whispers chattering.

"No yah? Because I have an old man who has just collapsed out here!!"

The man then left leaving the crowd proceeding to the other side repeating same question.

Us, whom were very disturbed wondering who have left their own relative here alone.

Soon we finished our dinner and once were stepping out from the place, we were stopped. The old man was there, unconsciously together with paramedics performing the least aid they can onto the old man chest.

We were stunned. Numb our hearts were. Then we stood still as the old man were carried away.

We discussed. We were curious. How can the old man be here all alone!! Is he with someone, like his old wife, or any other relatives??

Sourly, tears of fear and pityness in each of us. The old man was pale, very pale. Wonder if he is still alright?
Dare not we say it out, but thats my thought at that moment.

What is happening to this society? How can such tragic scenario happenning. Why so!

Rules and Regulations

Understood that certain working environment will sure have its own style in keeping the circle. Same goes to mine. Penalty for every 15 minutes lateness, SGD 5, which is RM12 in Malaysia. And for the past month, been reaching late to the office for the punch card, sometimes 1 minute, sometimes 2, sometimes 5.

Indeed my fault for reaching late, I can't blame it on the company for imposing such rule. So what I can do is, wake up earlier for the bathroom (as I am renting a room with a family at Singapore), try to make it early to the office.

Blaming is useless, while making things right are what we should do. Plus ranting over OT done can't help anything at all. While learn to do things faster and time planning are essential in preventing OTs,

Positive thinking will results in happier life, so why not keep ourselves happy with the alternatives we have? Get to the problem and solve it, lesser rants will keep smiles.

Guess this is how I begin my day today, Good Morning peeps! ~ cheers and have a nice day!

A night to remember as I managed to get enlightened. I always think that relationship is just part of our lives, boyfriend is only a matter of you want or you don't. Correct? I wonder.

Surrounded with happy couples, feel and sense how happy they are with their current lives. What about me? Mine, pursuing for his family's career and me, going for my dream. What about our future? What to do when our dreams are too far apart? Will us sustain?

Concerned friends advised and I have my stand. Understood their intention, worrying over my feelings here. But as long as I am not troubled with any argument with him, I will keep this On. The feeling of missing him, aching and certain times, I really tear out.

Then was introduced to a new friend, sharing her stories to me, and sweet her revealing her love stories to me. I am happy for her, her happy face was infectious. Starting to think, what is the chemistry between two different person that able to attract one another for such a long duration.

Keeping this in mind, still thinking. One could sacrifice much for the love they have on the other, one could even give up on certain priorities in life for love. What about me? Am I too selfish in this? Should I head back to be with him? Or should I let the time being to be our test period? To test whether we can overcome the time and distance.

Tough, and I am confused as usual~ *miss*

Diversified environment

Having the chance to be here, as a foreign worker in the city of lion, is a valuable one. Soon I understand the feeling of being a foreigner, the feeling of insecurity and strange. Previously, I was one typical girl, afraid of foreign workers back at Malaysia, fearing they will attack or hurt me anytime. Its strange, but now I understand.

I understand the threat and the feeling of being misunderstood by others\, to judge the book by its cover. Why so? Human, stereotyping is common.

Back to the title of this post, my experience in working in a diversified environment is not new. I am comfortable to work with anyone from any Asian countries, but seemingly with those from the Western countries, tough as I can imagine. Unstable personality and rule-less them love to behave in a way where I cannot understand. Why? They are so moody, they can simply scold and a moment later, they can be very sweet to you.

Anyway, they are just a minority of those surrounding me.

What about the politics? Media here at the city of lion, monopolized, mainstream as usual. Nothing different, just that, not more on racism, the thing I like it here. What I dislike, the selfishness of majorities that I encountered. People pushing and running down the escalator, without caring the elderly and girls in heels (like me), simply rushing, for what reason, I really have no idea. Then the youngsters sitting on reserved seats on MRT and pretending to be sleeping, ignoring the pregnant ladies and senior citizens. I have no idea what and where those selfish people from , excuse me for putting it on the people originally from the lion city, no idea, I really have no idea where they are from. Just sharing my experiences, no intention of condemning any race, any countries or whatsoever.

What about the manners? Smile? Rare, but I believe if I carve it on mine first, initially it will infect yours as well. Do not believe me, try carry a big smile out to the city today, see how much smiles you have in return. I wonder, is it the stress they are facing in their lives or plainly, they are shy to smile? Why shy? What if I smile and people do not return it, feeling like an idioto smiling alone there right?

Not only that, kids here, headache for me, I wonder why parents here rarely shout or hit on their kids? As precious as pearls, I can say. Kids as old as 4 years old on a baby trolley, with their long legs slipping out. Wondering, and what's more, kids shouting here and there in supermarket, I know kids wert, common right? But if kids at Malaysia did this, parents at the side would just give a tight slap on the face. Here? They seems like begging the kids to shut up by offering candies and toys. Hmm......wonder....

And what's more, people here rarely switch on the lights, I wonder why? As I know, fluorescent lights would not cost much wert. How come they can eat in the dark, eating fish with bones some more. Then watching television in dark rooms, and having everything in the dark. I would not say this is eco-friendly living style, why, because it only spoil the eyes of your kids. Training them to see and watch in the dark is not a fair thing to begin with.

Lots more to share, and now its my time to switch off my room's light, before my landlord feeling bad about this. Good night fellas.

Singapore,the Lion city

My first coffee when I was being left by the famous Sri Maju bus at Singapore's custom.

Super down and angry me was cheered up by a kind taxi driver. Followed by crispy mini hash browns.

Luckily, weather in the city was kind to me. Windy and not sunny.

Curious and free me was loitering around Marina. The architure amazed me and casino wise, not bad. But the coffee there, hmmm...maybe I was expecting a better roast beans. Anyway, its free. Drink as much as you want, gamble as much as you want.

Then it was a spicy moment, saliva dropping noodles from Chinatown.

Kuala Sepetang's Restoran Tepi Sungai

Located at Taiping Perak, a small fishermen village. Was my grandfather's hometown, its a place producing fresh seafoods such as clams, prawns, crabs and fishes.

You can park your vehicles right in front of the shop, and move to the second floor of the shop for food.

These are the views you would have while enjoying your meal here.

On menu daily would be as below,

big and fresh clams ready to be opened by you.

Best served semi-raw and dipped with special sauce of the restaurant.

Fried golden softshells crabs and you can have it just like finger food

or with plain white rice.

Another daily available seafood,

fresh and large squids in fried garlic with cooked oil.

Prawns, big one, in super tasty tomyum soup.

While so?

The only way for ultimate taste of the prawns and also to keep the prawns in an average hotness in the soup.

Then, for big and fresh fishes,

do have one steamed with plain ginger.

Super satisfied and *burping* !

De' Garden's Strawberry Moment

Another one at Cameron HIghlands if not mistaken.

Our first time to sitohbehli dot moment.

Super like it here!

Ambience and deco sungguh cantik desu neh!

This is fresh strawberry juice.

Less sugar tastes even better!

Below is mine!

Milky chocolate with strawberry choco chips!

Calories overload but worth a sip!

Fish and Chips, fresh and a lil small.

Not enough for me I guess.

But its nice!

Tomato pasta, tastes normal and the portion is enough for me.

Generous chicken bites with it!

Strudel, if not mistaken..

Nice Nice Nice!!!

Worth for a visit with friends and for guys to bring their girls for a date.

Sweet place that might melt her heart. ^^

For me, a visit or two, still alright le..

De' Garden's OH SUSHI

Previously, I am not a sushi lover.

I guess due to peer influence >< , I am one now.

There is a place at Ipoh, De Garden, with lots of nice cafes and food outlet there.

Spotted this, besides Sushi King, and Ninja at KL,

this is the third outlet I've been to for sushi.

At Ipoh, there are another two sushi restaurant that I yet to try..

Kizuna and Waraku..

hmm gonna pay a visit someday if finance of mine allows.

So here it is..some pichas of food me and darling tried there.

Salmon Sashimi, our favorite!

Price, RM 28.80 if not mistaken, for 7 thick slices.

Worth for the freshness but you can get it cheaper at Sushi King.
heehee..fair comment la..but this one appear nicer.

Depends on your preferences also geh.

I remembered Ninja's one, also sungguh cantik the presentation of this.

Not sure of its real name, but this is named by me..

it tastes like po piah, with fresh veggies inside.

Not so special to me, but you can try it..

Sushi there are cheaper and worth for $$ because of its size and taste,

while those on menu, you can try also la..but at your own risk..

Because the price for those dishes are a lil expensive and taste so-so niah.

We tried more that night, but due to the ke-syok-kan eating,

I forgot to snap.

Meanwhile for services there,

cantik!

There are lots of handsome waiters inside,

even the captain/manager also ahem ahem..not bad

Bukit Tinggi of Pahang

I am freakingly in love with this town.

Bukit Tinggi of Pahang.

Do google about it if you wish to find out more.

And remember to find out the route before heading there.

It is not easy to look out for this town.

From Kampar, we headed up to Genting's Gohtong Jaya, then took a turn at the round about there.

Then, things get tougher starting from there.

Also if you found Bukit Tinggi's signboard, you might find yourself ended up at a village.

Then you should start seeking help from the BHPetrol station there.

Ask for Colmar, not Bukit Tinggi.

This place was called Colmar...

Or French Village or in chinese *Fatt Kok Chuen*..

Then even though you reach there, you might also getting lost in the hill.

As some might ended up at Japanese Garden and getting nowhere here.

Worry not, do look out for vans there, FOC!

Or seek guidance from workers there.

Admission fees for Japanese Garden, Botanical Garden and Colmar is RM12.

Then there are the Rabbit Park, RM3 per entrance.

I wonder if we shoot Hunchback of Notredam Malaysia version here.

Approaching the end of my Degree life

I am there and here. Successfully leaving lots of memories in my head for the three years here at Kampar. I am happy to say that, I have learnt lots too. Sadly to say, my final trimester here is my saddest one. For no reason, the university had us a subject, that requires lots of teamwork. Of course, I am glad that people are working well with me, apparently. Some are true to me, some are just disappointing to me. I have learnt and met, what is the so-called office politics. Through the short moment, I have know lots of new friends, funny and happy people. Yet I have also learnt to let go of certain people, that used to be in my lists of friends. Not by rumors or stories telling, is what I feel and see with my own eyes. I admit that no one is perfect, as I am one terrible person too. But I choose to live my life happily, hence I shall let go. Sorry to say, through all the happy moments, I had the terrible one to remember. I might be emotional, but this is the only way for me to release my feelings. Sorry if I offended any of you, sorry if I hurt you with my words or action. I meant this, the IF is because, I do not who and which part of me offended or annoyed you in a sense. But my tagline as usual, LIFE IS SHORT, I shall forgive and forget right? Bear with me, I am trying. Though it is not a happy one, I am glad that I became more mature. Like people always tell me, as you grow up, you shall notice friends are getting lesser in your list and people are getting meaner. I guess this is the initial phase for me, and it starts right before the end of my student's life.

Its not a bad thing either, as what I understand is, when someone started to get bitchy about you, in front of you or behind you, you'll know it.

Girls are always girls, no matter how angelic you are in front of others, still the mouth, kinda itchy at times, no offense, this applies to me too *sometimes*.

Well, despite girls, I've encountered bitchy guys too. And you can see how funny it is when they are attacked by this green virus.

I can have a hot gf too if I want. Let's see how long you can tahan with a hot chick that spend all your money. Let's see.

But funny to be, most of us seems to be envying what others have and compare what we don't have, then we started to hate our lives.

It is a word used when things doesn't occur in order.
When blames are close to others and away from ourselves.

While accusing and assuming, what's left for us?
Come on, let's move on and stop dwelling in the past.

Starts revising what we had done and not revising what others did on us.
No Saint here, everyone are only human.

Mistakes made. Even us that we thought we are always right on track.

Being over confident, being over blame-ful us only lead us to more trips.
Moderate on things.

If you are so good at judging, why not start judging yourself and revise.
Ain't any good judging people, and when you hate people doing that on you.

Things happen for a reason, try look for the root problem and not mere on the surface.

Public Relations and Ethics

A term that I learnt in class, yes in class. Even during training, I do not get the chance to be in a PR department. Therefore it is kind of surprising with the reality somehow, real PR people.

They need to be fast and quick in no matter they plan or do. However, the E word comes into the picture. Ethics. I learnt about Media Ethics, but PR ethics, just few minor chapters.

So what's ethics? In PR definition, it is something most of us memorize by heart, as it is required for us to blurt it out during writing exams.

So what's ethics to me? In my own opinion, ethics means more like being kind. Being fair and nice. You might be disagreed with what I think personally, but isn't being kind important?

That's what define humanity, being kind with empathy.

reality and humanity? Does this both comes in pair?

I don't think so. With own experience(s), I can say it is not. Why?

For example, being a publicist, what should you do? Yes, we have comparative advertising, the plan might comes from PR practitioners ( so ignore the advertisers). But ethical as it is, humors were injected. So still public are willing to accept.

But destroys? Rob? Is this vandalism or crime? Sad as truth always is.

Am not agree with what unethical organization did but this is reality. Though it hurts (physically & mentally), what to do, we are not prepare. As perception were on kind and friendly approach, never thought of such ambush.

So till PR is a good industry to try on? Think twice, one need to be skillful, in communicating and planning. Which I'm still lacking of this, lack of good judgment and preparation. This I shall learn in order to protect my own organization, but not on behaving unethically to competitors.

Well, a surface understanding of mine on chapter taught. =)
