THE BOSTON CELTICS ARE BACK!!!!! After struggling for much of the season, Boston has finally found its stride as they have won their fourth in a row against the Indiana Pacers. The Celtics were without Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and Jermaine O'Neal, but they managed to get the win and reach .500 for the season. Paul Pierce posted a near triple double as he led him team in scoring (28), rebounding (10) and assists (8). The Celtics are now 6-5 on their home court floor--the TD Garden.

The New Jersey Nets had not won back to back games for the entire season until last night when they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on their home court, the Quicken Loans Arena. Deron Williams had another monster game as he posted another double-double scoring 27 points and dishing out 10 assists. Williams' teammate Kris Humphries reached double-double territory as well as he scored 18 points and grabbed 11 boards. The Nets won the game without two key players: rookie Marshon Brooks who was nursing a sore Achilles heal and Mehmet Okur who was sidelined with a sore back.

The Philadelphia 76ers did not want to lose their third straight and had the good fortune to take on the league's worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats on their home court, the Wells Fargo Arena. Philly made short work of the Bobcats holding them to .386 shooting and crushing them by 17 points. Lou Williams came off the bench to lead the Sixers in scoring 17 points in just 21 minutes of play. With that win, Philly improves to 9-2 on its home floor while the Cats slip into past the Washington Wizards for the worst record in the league.

A lot of standing around by both teams, making shots for Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul more difficult. An emotional KG talks with TNT's Craig Sager after the Celtics pulled of one the biggest comeback wins in possibly NBA history. Wonder what Charles Barkley has to say now considering how he bashed the Celtics saying that the team needed to be blown up. Oh, by the way, congratulations to the Celtics' Ray Allen who missed the game due to the birth of his 7lb 12 ounce baby.

It was a battle between two young and up and coming teams as the Memphis Grizzlies faced the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Memphis struggled offensively shooting just .357 from the filed, but they managed to keep the game close to the very end. Unfortunately, the Clippers were just too much for them as Blake Griffin posted a near triple scoring 20 points, grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing 8 assists. Chris Paul did not shoot very well in his second game back from nursing an injury shooting just 3 for 11, but he managed to grab 7 boards, dish 7 assist and get 2 steals to help his team grab the win.

Talk about one of the biggest comeback stories in NBA history: the Boston Celtics were down by as much as 27 points came back and beat the Orlando Magic on their home court, the Amway Center. The Orlando Magic looked to avenge the previous game where they were absolutely humiliated by Boston; however, the shame and humiliation will drag on as they have gotten embarrassed yet again by the same team. This game certainly sheds a new light on the Celtics to those who considered them as over the hill and washed up. After a horrendous start, they Celtics seem to be making a move to return to the prominence they have been accustomed to.

The last time the Milwaukee Bucks won a game in Houston, their star player Brandon Jennings was just ten years old. Would they be able to make history and break that long road losing streak against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center? The answer is a resounding YES as the Bucks defied the odd and beat the Houston Rockets for the first time on their home court in a decade. The unsung hero of that game was Ersan Ilyasova who came off the bench to grab a game high 19 rebounds while both Jennings and Stephen Jackson led the team in scoring with 20 points a piece.

The New York Knicks looked quite impressive when they de-clawed and demoralized the Charlotte Bobcats the previous night. Would they be able to continue the momentum against the Cleveland Cavaliers who had lost their four previous games? Unfortunately, Lady Luck would not bless New York as Cleveland would win the game on their home court Quicken Loans Arena. Rookie extraordinaire Kyrie Irving was quiet offensively as he only scored just seven point; however he did dish 7 assists--a game high--which allowed four of his teammates to score in double figures and thus win the game.

It was a battle between the two worst teams in the league as the Charlotte Bobcats headed over to the Verizon Center to take on the Washington Wizards. The Cats were previously humiliated by the New York Knicks and the shame continued as Washington completely mopped the floor with Charlotte. Andray Blatche, who has so far been an embarrassment for the Wizards came alive posting a double-double scoring 17 points on 7 of 15 shooting while grabbing 10 boards as well. The Wizards also got a big contribution from Nick Young who scored a game high 20 points in Washington's just third win.

The top two teams of the Central Division faced off in the United Center as the Indiana Pacers faced the home team Chicago Bulls. Both teams would have to endure their own challenges--the Pacers were licking their wounds after an embarrassing home loss against the Orlando Magic while the Bulls were without Loul Deng who injured his left hand and would out for a while. Indiana would prove to be the victor as they would skim past the Bulls by five points giving Chicago its first home loss for the season. Both Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert led the charge posting 24 and 22 points respectively. Hibbert dominated the paint also by grabbing eight boards and blocking three shots.

Chalk this game up as one of the biggest upsets of the season as the lowly New Jersey Nets beat the Atlantic Division leading Philadephia 76ers on their home court, the Wells Fargo Center. Deron Williams led five players in double figures scoring 34 points and also dished 11 assists as well. The Nets were just unconscious from the perimeter as they hit 12 of 27 (.444) from beyond the arc. That's quite impressive considering the fact that New Jersey has been a terrible shooting team making just .418 of their shots (27th in the league)

Despite having one of the best records in the league, the Miami Heat had struggled on the road losing three straight. The Heat looked to break that streak against the struggling Detroit Pistons when it arrived at the Palace at Auburn Hills; however, the Pistons would not just lay down so the Heat could trample them. Detroit fought to the bitter end thanks to efforts of Austin Daye, who had previously scored just 45 points for the entire season. Daye scored a season high 28 points shooting a whopping 10 for 18 from the field which included 4 of 8 from three. Unfortunately it was just not enough as Lebron James, thanks to his 32 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals narrowly edged the Pistons by three points.

Both the Atlanta Hawks and San Antonio Spurs rested at the top of their divisions--the Hawks had a half game lead for first place of the Southeast Division while the Spurs were tied for first place with the Dallas Mavericks. Both needed a win to get a greater edge in their division and it was the Spurs who would take this game away from Atlanta. San Antonio just roasted the Hawks holding them down to .432 from the field along with beating them by 22 points. The Spurs had two unlikely heroes in Matt Bonner and Dejaun Blair who both lead the team in scoring with 17 points a piece.

The New Orleans Hornets will be without Eric Gordon for another three weeks and they could have used him when they went to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder. Despite missing Gordon, the Hornets kept the game close as they got a unexpected boost from their rookie from Mexico, Gustavo Ayon who scored 16 points in 17 minutes. Unfortunately it was not enough as the Thunder was just to much for them. Oklahoma City shot a whopping .531 from the field holding off the struggling Hornets by ten points. Russell Westbrook played absolutely terrible shooting 4 for 14 from the field and displayed even more reasons why he is not the right point guard for this team.

The Dallas Mavericks played another game without Dirk Nowitzki as they faced the Minnesota Timberwolves at their home court American Airlines Arena. The Mavs struggled offensively shooting just .411 from the field and just could not contain Kevin Love, who scored a game high 31 point along with grabbing ten rebounds. Along with Ricky Rubio's own double-double of 17 points and 12 assists, Minnesota pulled of the big upset win on the road.

After losing 7 straight, the Toronto Raptors looked to start a winning streak after beating the Phoenix Suns on the road. They faced a Utah Jazz team that was 8-2 at home and had previously lost 12 straight against Utah. It took two overtime to break the losing streak as Linus Kleiza scored a team high 25 points to give the Raptors the five point win. Despite winning, the Raptors suffered another blow as Andrea Bargnarni who had just returned from nursing a strained calf injured his calf once again.

The Trailblazers have struggled on the road going 3-6 so far this season. They faced a Warriors team that was just 3-6 one their home court, the Oracle Arena, and expected to improved their win total away from home. That unfortunately did not happen as the Warriors took the game giving Portland its seventh road loss. Stephen Curry scored a season high 32 points including shooting 6 for 8 from beyond the arc to lead the Warriors to the eight point win.

The Denver Nuggets went to play the Sacramento Kings at the Arco Arena and crowned the Kings by 25 points. Danillo Galanari led seven players in double figures scoring 23 points along with blocking three shot. Unfortunately the Nuggets suffered a major blow as Ty Lawson, the team's starting point guard and possible Most Improved Player of the Year candidate, fell awkwardly on his ankle forcing him to leave the game due to injury. With this win the Nuggets win their fifth game in a row on the road.
