Architect Manuela Crespi, director of Manumau visual design, was awarded a Foro Europa 2001 Gold Medal, for her professionalism and europeism. In a solemn act, celebrated in the Hotel Princesa Sofía, José Luís Salaverría, founder of Foro Europa 2001, presented this important award.

Foro Europa 2001, born in october 1996, was created for the purpose of networking, interchanging and promoting ideas and knowledges amongs business, cultural and political leading figures. Nowadays is one of the most important Forum of Europe.

Gold Medal is presented to presidents of different institutions, professionals and leading figures of cvil society distinguished for their professionalism, europeism and humanities.

La arquitecta Manuela Crespi, directora de Manumau visual design, ha sido recientemente galardonada con la Medalla de Oro del Foro Europa 2001, en reconocimiento a su profesionalidad y europeísmo. En un acto solemne celebrado en el Hotel Princesa Sofía, José Luís Salaverría, fundador del Foro Europa 2001, le hizo entrega de este importante galardón.

El Foro Europa 2001, fundado en octubre de 1996, nació con la intención de crear encuentros para el intercambio y la divulgación de ideas, conocimientos entre dirigentes de la vida empresarial, cultural y política. Actualmente figura como uno de los Foros más importantes de Europa.

La medalla de oro se concede a presidentes de distintas instituciones, profesionales liberales y personalidades de la sociedad civil que han destacado por su profesionalidad, europeismo y humanidad.

Velika Plaza Project exhibited at MIPIM Horizons, Cannes/France

Delegation of the Ministry for Economic Development of Montenegro headed by Minister Branimir Gvozdenovic participated from the 2nd to 4th of December in one of the largest international real estate exhibition MIPIM Horizons, hold in Cannes.

MIPIM Horizons is a unique event for the first time organized this year in Cannes 2-4. December, which will enable professionals in the field of real estate and investors to be positioned in the fastest growing real estate markets in the area of the Middle East, Turkey, Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and Latin America.

In the stand of the Ministry for Economic Development the best final five works of the competition of “Velika Plaza a sustainable waterfront” were presented. At the competition, solutions are chosen so in accord with the vision of the Government of Montenegro, which includes innovations in the field of civil engineering, tourism and energy efficiency, and the mark of environmental protection and sustainable development. Planners five companies are: Van Den Oever Zaaijer (Netherlands), SSSCCM + PM (Italy), Archipelagos Group (USA), Crawford Architects (USA) and PRP Architects (United Kingdom).

Minister Branimir Gvozdenovic during the fair had a series of bilateral meetings with officials and potential investors, and interviews with representatives of domestic and foreign media in order to provide a better publicity of Montenegro investments projects that will be realized.

In the press conference which was held in the World Travel Market in London the winners of the competition for the best planning solution "Velika Plaza a sustainable tourist complex on the coast” was announced. The Van den Oever Zaaijer & Partners from Nederlands won the First prize. Second place went to the company PRP architects from Great Britain, and the third was awarded to Crawford Architects from the United States, while the special reward was assigned to Archipelagos / Aedas Team from the United States and SSSCCM + PM from Italy.

The winner of the best planning solution was awarded by a € 50,000 prize, the other two runners up by € 20,000 and the two special commendation winners received € 10,000.

Members of the Judging panel were:
- Minister for Economic Development: Branimir Gvozdenovic;
- Minister of Tourism and Environmental Protection: Predrag Nenezić;
- Mayor of the Municipality of Ulcinj Gzim Hajdinaga;

Jury Selects Best Solutions for the Tourist Complex in Ulcinj: Jury for the selection of the best planning solution for parts of the Master plan for the project „Velika plaza” has picked five best works. Top-five position has been earned by the works submitted by Dutch company “Van den Oever Zaaijer & Partners”, US companies “Crawford Architects” and “Archipelago/Aedas Team”, British “PRP Architects” and Italy's “SSSCCM + PM.” Winner would be proclaimed in mid-November, at the World Tourist Market in London.

Podgorica – Jury for the selection of the best planning solution for parts of the Master plan for the project „Velika plaza” has picked five best works. Winner would be proclaimed in mid-November.
Top-five position has been earned by the works submitted by the Dutch company “Van den Oever Zaaijer & Partners”, US companies “Crawford Architects” and “Archipelago/Aedas Team”, British “PRP Architects” and Italy's “SSSCCM + PM.”
Selected companies will have an opportunity to present their works to the members of the Jury on the occasion of the World Tourist Market in London. Awards will also be presented at this event.

Out of five consultancy firms, two will get special awards, two will win third and second place. There will be only one winner.
Winning company will receive Euro 50,000, while the winner of the second and third place would receive Euro 20,000 each. Winners of special awards will receive Euro 10,000 each.

“Parallel to this competition, government is also implementing the procedure for the international tender for the tourist valorization of Velika plaza beach. Winner of the competition for the Master plan for Velika plaza will be asked to present their proposals to the partners, which will be granted advantage by the government and in accordance with the results of the international tender”, Ministry of the Economic Development has explained.

Ministry claims that five selected planning-solutions for Velika plaza fully satisfy high standards of the Jury in terms of planning and architecture.
“Solution have been selected in the manner which, to the largest extent possible, stands in line with the vision of the government of Montenegro, which includes innovations in terms of construction, tourism and energy efficiency, all with the aim to preserve the environment and ensure sustainable development”, statement reads.

This government Ministry also announces that the project of Velika plaza would be presented at London’s fair, as well as the expectations and plans in terms of investments at this locality.
“At the same time, this would be an opportunity for each of the five finalists to hold a 45-minute presentation of their plans before the Jury. Following these presentations, Jury would proclaim the winner on 11 November. Finalists will also get the opportunity to present their projects at Real-Estate Fair in Cannes”, Ministry sources have added.
Competition for the best planning solution for Velika plaza was made public on 13 May. Works have been submitted by 20 prominent architectural and planning companies from the US; Italy, Holland, Great Britain, Portugal, Spain, Australia, Russia and Norway.

En estos días estoy trabajando sobre un nuevo proyecto y estoy buscando respeuestas cerca de un tema: “Cúales son los tres objetos que son los más importantes para ti”.

Acabo de ganar el premio FIDEM a los microcreditos.
El pasado día 12 de marzo el Príncipe de Asturias y Girona ha presidido la ceremonia de entrega de los galardones de la Fundación Internacional de la Mujer Emprendedora (FIDEM).

Los premios, en su décima edición, han reconocido la tarea de seis mujeres emprendedoras y de un directivo por sus esfuerzos en favor de la conciliación de la vida familiar y profesional.

Los galardones en sus distintas categorías han recaído en:

Premio a la empresa creada con un microcrédito, doña Manuela Crespi (yo misma) fundadora de MANUMAU VISUAL DESIGN SL.

Premio a la creatividad: Doña Eva García Valiño y Doña Rosa María Rial, fundadoras de ERVA.

Premio a la conciliación e igualdad: Don José María Lloreda, director de
KH Lloreda.

Premio al negocio innovador e iniciativa empresarial, Doña Roser Bombardó, doña Mercè Colomia y doña Mónica Vergés, fundadoras de SOCARREL.

Premio a la empresa familiar, doña Adelaida Ponti, presidenta de
Oficina Ponti.

Premio a la trayectoria profesional, doña Montserrat Boncompte, directora de empresas de servicios y ocio, como gasolineras y casa rurales.

Al acto, celebrado en la Lonja, sede de la Cámara de Comercio, Industria y Navegación de Barcelona, han acudido más de 400 invitados, además del presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Barcelona Miquel Valls, el delegado del Gobierno en Cataluña Joan Rangel y la consejera de Trabajo de la Generalitat de Cataluña Mar Serna.

Tras la ceremonia de entrega de todos los galardones Su Alteza Real el Príncipe de Asturias pronunció un discurso en el que afirmó: “Los Premios que hoy hemos entregado constituyen un valioso estímulo para fomentar valores y principios que resultan esenciales para el desarrollo empresarial en un mundo en el que cada día se compite con mayor dureza y exigencia. Un mundo que cree en la igualdad de oportunidades y que confía plenamente en el enorme capital humano que aportan y pueden aportar las mujeres a nuestro desarrollo económico y social. No en vano, son cada vez más las mujeres las que obtienen los mejores resultados académicos en muy distintas áreas del conocimiento. Yo mismo fui testigo de ello en mi paso por la Universidad hace más de diez años”. Además les transmitió a las galardonadas su felicitación, gratitud y profundo reconocimiento por el esfuerzo profesional, la dedicación personal y la entrega permanente.
