The 25 year-old is known the world over not just for being a Hilton Hotel heiress, but for her antics, sex-appeal, and over-the-top behavior. Paris' fame has led her to every possible venture, from reality TV and a horror movie, to launching her own perfume and even writing a tongue-and-cheek book about - what else - being an heiress.

Here's what the icon has to say about all the aspects of her life that make her uniquely Paris.

On her heiress status: "I think the biggest misconception about me is that I'm this spoiled brat. But I'm not. I'm the total opposite. I don't want to be known as the granddaughter of the Hiltons. I want to be known as Paris."

On people's misconceptions: "People think I'm stupid. But I'm smarter than most people. I thought it was cute to play a dumb blonde. On TV, I do it because it's funny. I consider myself a businesswoman and a brand.

On that infamous sex tape: "I don't care about that tape, it just reminds the world of what they can't have. I would never speak to him again after what he did to me. After all the stuff he said about me on Howard Stern? That guy is a joke.

On the pitfalls of her fame: "I don't enjoy going out anymore. It's such a pain. It's everyone saying, 'Let's do a deal! Can I have a picture?' I'm just, like, 'These people are such losers. I can't believe I used to love doing this.'"

On her foray into the simple life: "I went to Wal-Mart for the first time. I always thought they sold wallpaper. I didn't realize it has everything. You can get anything you want there for really, really cheap."

On her own imperfections: "I desperately hate one thing about my body. I have size 11 feet. Yeah, it sucks, because I see all these super cute shoes in the stores -- Gucci's, YSL's, Manolo's. And when they bring them out in my size, they look like clown shoes."

On men: "You always want to be with someone who's your biggest fan and treats you like a princess."

On beauty: "No matter what a woman looks like, if she's confident, she's sexy. If you have a beautiful face you don't need big fake boobs to get anyone's attention."

Her advice: "Every woman should have four pets in her life. A mink in her closet, a jaguar in her garage, a tiger in her bed, and a jackass who pays for everything."

A Big Bag

Over are the days of carrying a tote, purse, and gym bag all at once. Instead it's stylish and convenient to haul around all of your goods in a single oversized bag. Designers are coming to the rescue with a vast amount of selection for every taste. Whether there are tassels, studs, or extra clasps, it should be easy to find a bag to suit your style. This look should be kept for daytime shopping, traveling or to the office, as it is too overpowering for most get-togethers and night outs. Current favorites of celebrities include Balenciaga, and Louis Vuitton. Other classic favorites include Hermés and Tod's.

The Pantsuit

Sixties designer André Courrèges was one of the first designers to put women into pants, although he is known for dressing up women in minis and go-go boots in his space-age designs. But it was Yves Saint Laurent who made dressing in trousers acceptable and popular. It's hard to believe before his version of the pantsuit in the late 60's that women were expected to wear only skirts. Today the pantsuit is a staple in a woman's wardrobe. Versatile enough to bring you from the office to cocktail hour, you can get maximum usage by breaking apart the pieces. Investing seriously into a well-tailored, quality suit is a wise decision. Today's pantsuits are anything but manly and can actually amp up the femininity of your look. Just look at some of the hot Hollywood women, past and present, donning this attire and we're sure you'll agree.

Pirate Clothing Known Worldwide for Historical Clothing and Accessories

During medieval era people with different social status wear different style of clothing, there dressing sense told the story of someone’s ‘standing’ in society. This also holds true for pirates’- there appearance was defined by loose shirts and pants. Pirate shirts are soft and comfortable to wear with lots of variety in their styles. The shirts are with or without lace, have full length sleeves with narrow or broad ends. The lengths of these shirts are upto thighs or waist and are available in many colors but most designs are in white. Designed with curiosity, these pirate shirts are cherished by everyone.

Medieval period was all about wars, invasion and hijacking the ships of merchants, all these situations shows the gruel some act of taking someone’s life and swords were designed for this. They can be considered as jewel to a warrior, a blood thirsty weapon, anyone could feel powerful by taking it in hand. The irony with this life taking weapon is that it is beautifully decorated, the handles are made of woods or metals and some are wrapped by eye catching decorative materials like leather. The long lengths of blade part mostly are of carbon steel and can be narrow or broad at their bottom.

Medieval helmets were used to protect Soldier’s or knight’s life during war, invasion or pirate attacks while fighting. They were designed in such a way, that they can protect the face of someone who had put on it. These helmets can be open, closed or half closed helmet. Designs of helmet depend on the person who wore it and also on the place of its origin and Era. Spartan Helmets were closed only open at mouth and eyes area. Barbarian Warrior War helmet was half closed and Norman helmet were open helmet. Commonly the helmets were made of high carbon steel or low carbon steel.

Shields itself signifies the term protection. Medieval Shields also used for protection of soldier’s and knight’s life from direct attack of enemies’ weapon. During training season Shields and Swords were used to increase the strength, skill and technique of fighting, so that on battle ground soldiers could perform well. This week, the Kinky, Horny 24-Year-Old Nursing a Major Crush: female, marketing assistant, 24, Brooklyn, heteroflexible, single.

DAY ONE
4 a.m.: Wake up with a pressing anxiety regarding new crush who hasn’t called or texted for a few days. The only way to go back to sleep is to watch an episode of House and masturbate twice (not at the same time).
2:33 p.m.: Keep spacing out during a meeting thinking about crush. If he doesn’t call by tonight I’m going to text him tomorrow. Even though I have initiated all contact, and that probably means “he’s just not that into me.” I’ll never learn. I keep having a flashback to one particularly intense sexual moment we had.
6:30 p.m.: I am restless. Texted recent date (who was cool to talk to but no real spark) to see if he wants to get a drink. He is tired, i.e. “not that into me, either.”
8:10 p.m.: Have interesting conversation with a guy friend about sex parties and the fetish scene that I’m involved in. He seems pretty intrigued, but this is what always happens. I’m like, “Oooh, look how ‘free spirited’ I am,” then they want to get in my pants. I am more than my vagina. I think.
11 p.m.: Unsparky has woken up and is down to go for a drink. I am going crazy with nothing to do so I consent. It will at least help me waste some dollars and give me a reason to sleep past 8 a.m. tomorrow. In the back of my mind I have some twisted fantasy about seeing my crush out and having an awkward moment that strikes that magic jealousy in him and in the end makes him realize how awesome I am. It’s totally possible that he just has a different need/style of communication and I’m freaking out over nothing.
2 a.m.: Actually had a pretty good time with Unsparky. I don’t think it’s that there’s no spark; I think it’s that he has no game, or maybe he’s too respectful to try to get into my pants? Because he’s actually pretty cute.

DAY TWO
9:30 a.m.: I had a really weird dream about someone I dated sort of intensely for about a week a few weeks ago. We were at a party (not necessarily a sex party) and he was going to spank me. There were many extenuating circumstances preventing him from doing so. The dream wasn’t so much sexual as it was ... frustrating and weird.
4 p.m.: Worked all day. Crush texted, said we should get together “soon.” Whatever that means. I’m kind of already pissed and over it since he thinks it’s okay to be all nonchalant. I also feel really stupid/embarrassed for getting so into him and kind of counting my chickens before they hatched.
8:15 p.m.: Fucked with some guido juicehead on my online dating site while waiting to finish up at work. He said I have “the smile of an angel that goes straight to my heart.” STRAIGHT TO YOUR PENIS? Anyways.
11:30 p.m.: Went to some (normal) party with two of my friends. Very cool atmosphere. Some Scene Kid is relentlessly hitting on me. Not sure how into him I am, but I like and crave the attention. I recently started doing my makeup differently ... I think it’s having a good effect.

DAY THREE
3 p.m.: Scene Kid visits me at work. We have a vague but somewhat interesting conversation. I think he’s intimidated by me. I feel an obligation to tell everyone who I meet romantically about my sex and fetish activities (sex parties, some pretty heavy BDSM, and a desire to probably not be monogamous with anyone anytime soon). But I don’t tell him yet. We do talk about sexuality a little bit.
6 p.m.: I have a date after work tonight. I have been dating a TON lately but not having that much sex. It’s a total reversal from my life before, where I would go to these parties of a sexual nature and have sex with three or four different people in one night, not even knowing most of their names. It was fun at first, but it takes its toll (physical and emotional) after awhile. These days I still go to certain parties, but mostly just with people I know and like to “play” with.
8 p.m.: Dinner date with P, someone who I have been out with a few times in the past few months. Met him at a sex party awhile ago, and we’ve played around a few times. We have fun, but I don’t know how much of a beyond-friends connection there is. We went to Boqueria and had some yummy stuff, then went back to his place and had some much-needed rough sex. The best part was when we were fucking really rough doggy style, and he reached around and pinched/pulled on my nipples so hard I almost said the safe word.

DAY FOUR
8 a.m.: P pays for my car home. I have really kind of become unhinged over this crush. I don’t usually like people in that way. I feel really stupid for falling for someone that quickly. Traditionally, I have been an ice queen. But I have another date tonight so ... that will at least keep my mind off things?
4 p.m.: Workday is very blasé. I’m kind of hormonal (premenstrual) so I am incredibly horny. Not the kind where you want to masturbate. The kind where you want a nice big cock. But not too big.
10:23 p.m.: My date couldn’t be going worse. He’s only mildly attractive and way too ethereal and artsy for me. He’s also had five (or was it six?) liquor drinks while I've had two glasses of wine. He’s also unemployed. He keeps trying to explain to me the humor of the show we’re watching, which is so annoying. I’m trying to stay turned away from him so he will shut up. In addition, when I finally tell him about my lifestyle, he’s totally into it, but not in the right way. I’m not looking to be someone's entry point into this or a novelty. Anyways, he walks me to the train and kind of forces his way to kiss me. I kind of just awkwardly say bye and sort of run away. I really wish he was cooler so we could have fucked!

DAY FIVE
11 a.m.: The crush finally texts me. He asks if I want to hang this weekend. I had pretty much accepted rejection, so now I’m kind of pissed. I don’t know what to do. But I do want to hang, at least to find out what the deal is.
6 p.m. Okay, I was supposed to have a date with Scene Kid tonight, but he backs out. I don’t really mind, but I feel like I don’t want to be alone right now. I used to be so independent, and now something has changed. I feel needy and like I want to be around people all the time. What has happened to me? I have to figure this stuff out because I hate feeling this way. So of course I go home and message about a thousand people on my online dating site.

DAY SIX
9 a.m.: I have the hardest time getting out of bed today, and I end up being 30 minutes late to work. It doesn’t really matter, though. I have another date tonight.
12:12 p.m.: I hear from my forced-kiss date. What is it about the universe that brings you all the attention you don’t want?
10:43 p.m.: This date. UGH. First off, he’s really short. Not a huge problem since I’m short, but he doesn’t wear it well. He’s drinking girly drinks. I’m probably being too judgmental, but I just don’t feel it. Again, he treats my sexuality as a novelty. I don’t know what to do. If I don’t tell people, I feel dishonest because they should know what they are getting into. If I do tell people, I feel like 99 percent of the time they see only my sexuality.
11 p.m.: I go home and try to look at porn, but my Internet isn’t working too well. I start to masturbate, but I just don’t have the will to finish it off, which is very strange for me. I sometimes masturbate many, many times a day, but lately it has been tapering off to a few times a week. I think it’s because as I get older I want to enjoy the times I have with other people more, and I think that masturbating all the time takes away from that. I definitely have stronger orgasms if I don’t masturbate for a while.

DAY SEVEN
10 a.m.: I have a voice mail (OMG) from crush. So I guess we are going to hang out this weekend after all.
7 p.m.: Have a discussion with a friend about why guys don’t call girls back anymore. Is it the hipster culture? One friend thinks it’s because this is the first generation where guys didn’t have to be married to be considered successful. I’m not sure, but it’s definitely a common syndrome these days.
10 p.m.: Get home and go straight to sleep. I’m really horny (as usual) but I have my period. I consider masturbating anyway, but then I would have to get up and wash my hands before I went to sleep, and I’m far too lazy. In retrospect, I feel better about the whole crush situation. I was having a stressful week so I guess my mind kind of just fixated on someone as a distraction. I'm feeling more like myself tonight. I guess (1) my lack of desire for bloody masturbation and (2) this realization must be a sign I’m getting older ... Maturity?
Jan Marini has just launched a new eyelash growth product called Marini Lash (about $150) and I received a sample from her marketing department this morning. Marini Lash does not contain any glaucoma drugs, such as bitamoprost, or analogues of prostaglandins. So what is in the new Marini Lash and will it work?
The main ingredients are moisturizers, sodium hyaluronate and hydrolized glycosaminoglycans. Plant extracts include white tea (an anti-oxidant) and horse chestnut (there are claims that this helps stimulate hair growth) and cinnamon (honey and cinnamon is a common hair loss remedy).

For just over three weeks I have been trying out the new Marini Lash Eyelash Growth Enhancer that Jan Marini launched on June 5. It works. My eyelashes were already in good shape when I started to use Marini Lash ($150).
i can't believe Marini Lash went and gave me even more fabulous lashes than before!
applied on the lash line like a liquid eyeliner at night, this formula works to give you fuller, longer-looking lashes.

4 Tips to Looking Hot At The Gym – The Good Hot That Is

Uh yeah, there’s nothing more mortifying than working on your beach bod and seeing gorgeous specimen #278 pass by and the last thing you want to do is say hi because well, you’re a working out heap of hot mess. So not pretty. But you can overcome this by picking up on this season’s hottest workout trends, that not only keep you looking cool, but acting cool in a way that screams “hot” for when #279 passes your way. How to do it? First you want to toss out anything that resembles “slouchy”, and then pick up these top 5 workout trends for 2010.

1. The One Shoulder Look is not just for the red carpet anymore. Yep, you see this on almost every pretty dress these days, and now we find it in workout wear thanks to designers like Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang. The One Shouldered trend in sports bra and sportswear you may not find the most supportive, but layer it under equally cute pieces and your pretty shoulder will definitely turn heads.

2. Sheer mesh is back. And we aren’t talking Cindy Lauper style. Today’s hottest workout wear for women is sheer mesh that is sporty, breathable, and almost dangerous when it comes to sex appeal. Do you need more info than that?

3. Two Words – Hot. Pants. Okay, you’ve put in enough hours at the gym for these to finally work on you, and you love how cute they make you look but wouldn’t dream of stepping on the street with them without nervously wondering if people might mistake you as “For Hire”. Enough said on that note, they are more than appropriate at the gym, will ensure you keep cool, and look hot while you do so. You’ve earned it, hot pants it is.

4. Luxe Sun Visors. These are very reminiscent of retro golf days, but they don’t have to mean so much when you are working out. Rule #1 with the sun visor – wearing indoors is so not cool. Rule #2 – stick to colors that don’t match shag carpeting. Go cute here with pinks, limes, and fluorescent type colors that are IN and don’t look like something that came out of your dad’s old retro boxes in the attic.

Contrary to popular belief...

HG and I did not get into a fight and decided to stop working together on I am Fashion and started our own blogs instead. (Even our mutual friends wondered about it!) We still email each other daily about the intricate details of our lives and random thoughts we have, and feel extremely empty when the other is away and has no access to the internet. When I freak out, she is the first person I call and she is still my maid of honor when I fantasize about my wedding. Our reasons for closing down I am Fashion still stands, though I do think that my later rationalization of it in this blog is a better articulation of how we feel.
As for us continuing to blog even more regularly than before, I attribute it to the "newness" of our blogs. Starting a new blog is like starting a relationship. At the beginning everything is new and exciting as you get to know the other person and watch your relationship grow and mature. Every up and every down is a significant moment. Then the honeymoon phase eventually wears off and you reach a happy medium, where your relationship becomes a part of your daily life. With any luck, you will live happily ever after in this state with a few surprises here and there to spice up the norm. If not, your relationship will wane and you grow apart, eventually deciding that you are both better off parting ways.

Clearly I'm in the honeymoon phase. We are starting to explore new things together, trying to figure out what works best for the both of us. Every new post is an adventure. Every comment and email is exciting. I want to spend every moment of everyday with it, checking on its progress i.e. stalking the traffic, the incoming and outgoing links etc. It's an exhilarating feeling that I'd almost forgotten about!
Analogy aside, it is heartwarming to read everyone's encouraging comments and to know that we were able to leave a small footprint on some people's lives. We appreciate your support and remember that we've not left the blogging world for good. Come visit us some time at our new blogs -(Find the links to our new blogs in the post below). We wanted a simple girly website where we can share our thoughts on fashion with other fashion lovers. We finally settled on blogspot, because we were both technically challenged and it was easy. It was really exciting at first. We religiously stalked our blog and our heart would skip a beat whenever we get a comment. It gave us a warm and fuzzy feeling each time.

We just graduated last summer and since then, we’ve been struggling to carry our blog into the ‘real world’ with us. When you’re a student, you’re surrounded by inspirations and you have all the time in the world to take it in and read up on the latest styles and celebrity trends. In the real world, you get so caught up with life that you barely have time to stop and admire your surroundings and be inspired and excited by it. Now don’t get us wrong, we still love to drool over gorgeous dresses and new bags and debate over the merits of the latest trends- just not as often anymore. Blogging started to become a chore instead of something we loved doing. That was when we knew that it was time to move on, even though it took us a few months of thinking and debating with ourselves and each other to realize it, and another few months overcoming self denial to act on it. It’s not easy to give up something we’ve been doing for the last four years, knowing that once we stop, there is no going back.

A little over 4 years ago, we had no idea what blogs were, and we certainly didn’t know fashion blogs will become such a big phenomenon. We didn’t really know where we were heading when we started I am Fashion, but it became something we loved. We considered taking I am Fashion further, developing it into something bigger as so many other fashion blogs have done. But alas, as hard as we racked our brains, we couldn’t come up with a vision of where it can go. And so, we've decided that it was time to make a graceful exit and let I am Fashion go.

We’d like to thank all the readers who have stuck with us throughout the last four years. It was your comments, emails and continued presence that have kept us going for so long. We’d also like to thank our guest blogger E, who has helped us immensely in the last few months through this difficult transition period. It’s been an unexpectedly rewarding experience, which will always have a special place in our hearts.

Find us at our NEW BLOGs:

Tea with BG -http://teawithbg.com/

BG’s new personal blog, where she will continue to explore fashion, with a sprinkle of finance, travel, dining and other random musings on life.

Coffee with HG -http://www.lifestyleasia.com/coffeewithhg

HG’s new fashion blog, where she will blog about fashion, beauty and all girly things. Why would I need a pretty passport holder when I only use it once every few months, and when I do, only very briefly when I go through customs. Most of the time, it is kept inside my bag anyway.

A day or so later, I learnt the error of my ways. 12 hours before my international flight, I realized that my passport was not where it should be. I was completely frazzled and lost. I immediately started ransacking my apartment looking for it and even called HG internationally for moral support in my panicked state (it was the middle of the night for her too!). I kept looking while she went online and checked out what one does in a situation like this (it was a saturday night so govt departments are not even opened the next day). Half an hour later, I finally found it neatly tucked away in a inconspicuous looking white envelope. I'd used my passport 6 months ago for something else and had forgotten to put it back in the pencil case looking travel bag where I put all my travel stuff in. Phew! Crisis avoided.
The next day on my ride to the airport, I retold my story to my friend and she said that this was why I should get a pretty passport holder, then I'd never have to put my passport in a white envelope. Plus, I should get an eye catching one, so I'll see it immediately. She had a point. Now i'm a convert to pretty passport holder. The question of course, is which one. I'm considering this bright red one from Saks. It is simple, elegant and vibrant. Plus, the size is just right, with little compartments for travel award cards etc (actually it might even be a great present for mom!).

How does everyone else keep their passport?

The DVF Keva Dress

I always knew that Ms. von Furstenburg was a genius with the wrap dress, but I thought that my one printed blue DvF classic wrap dress would be enough to quench my thirst for DvF. Unfortunately, she has proven me wrong with the Keva dress.
I first caught a glimpse of it online window shopping on Shopbop. It had only just gone on sale and I thought, aww what a pretty dress. Then the other day, I saw it at a department store and I must say, it looks even better in person! Naturally I simply HAD to try it on, even though the only one on the rack was about 2 sizes too big. And it felt absolutely beautiful. It is made out of this wonderfully flowy chiffon material that moves with you as you swirl. Most of the time with these kind of dresses, the chest area would be too big for me. But from the looks of it, with the right size, it promises to fit well on me (or so I imagine). And best thing of all? With this print, this is the perfect dress for Spring. The color is dark enough that you can pair it with tights for colder weathers. But the material and design is just light enough that it will still be great for summer! The print is also not so recognizable that it will be over next season. How awesome is this dress?

Unfortunately for me, I analyze too long and now they are sold out on Shopbop (it was half price!). I've already checked the DvF website, Saks and Neiman Marcus. But alas, it looks like this dress is lost to me. I definitely need to keep my eye out for something similar in the next collection!

Oh and Happy 2009 everyone!

Dress Me

What inspires your sense of style? Maybe it's their fresh faces, their glowing skin, their always inspiring looks, or their gazing eyes. I love street-style blogs, because we're not looking at people who dress to the nines everyday in clothes that cost more than they should. We're simply looking at people with their own taste, their own style, just living their lives, who happened to be caught on camera and shown to the world.

Pass The Bubbly Please

Ah. The New Year is upon us - where did the time go? One more reason to celebrate with friends and loved ones, and one more reason to dress up and look fabulous. I'm sure you have all found your dresses already but I just passed by the store window of BCBG the other day. BCBG has always attracted me, there is something simple and ethereal about their dresses, and their cutting (for me at least, is superb).

Their dresses make you feel almost old hollywood glam or simply modern chic. I know they're rather simple, definitely something you've seen before, but talk about excellent draping! I don't know, there's something about them that makes me fall in love.

Love the velvet bodice of this dress!

This dress is actually much more beautiful in person.

Aughhh...I need to get this - look at that sleeve detail!

So simple, so lovely (especially the colour). Hm, I will advise you not to wear a headband that the model demonstrates...

Ok, kind of generic I know, princess cut blah blah blah. We hope you had a wonderful evening and a beautiful day! Were in good company with family and friends, wrapped up warm - or dressed downright cool! - with good food, wherever you are!

This spread instantly made me want to layer up with colours and scarves - I actually decided that I had too much black in my closet! Is that even possible? Love the fresh faces and the braided hair. What wonderful winter inspiration - take the look of fall and bring with you into winter, enough of the dull greys and the generic black. I can't believe I just said that.

Image source: Elle Italy by David Burton

Happy Christmukkah!

Something to drool over on this special day....Yes, I'm in love with red pumps! I tend to put too much on and think nothing of it. I'm a dedicated and committed wearer of four scents, all of which are used in a rotational manner, depending on mood, weather, clothes and/or occasion. They are much more than just the fantastic four.

My first ever - must wear all the time - is this discontinued line of Ines De La Fressange. What's that? Yes, a perfume for babies. Not really a perfume actually, scented water? I have no idea, but it smells damn good AND it's made in the Philippines! Subtle and soft.

And last, but certainly not least, Marc Jacobs' Daisy. In the end, Bush signed over $17.4 to Chrysler and GM on Friday in return for non voting warrants and more oversight on executive pay etc. In the end, they made a full circle and the money will be coming from the TARP fund, which brings up the really intriguing question of whether the government has opened the pandora box and now other industries will be lining up to get a share of the rest of the TARP fund. Paulson has already asked Congress to release the rest of the $350 billion TARP fund early, when just a few days ago he said that it will not be necessary. Just when we thought we figured out how the TARP is going to work, they change their minds. This does not bode well for the government, because it makes them look like they have no idea what they're doing. Maybe they don't! On the other hand, the wider purpose of TARP is to support the financial market stability, and I daresay, it will probably not be very stable if the auto industry went bankrupt!

On the sidelines, the Madoff scandal continues to unfold, revealing many influential individuals exposed to this fraud. The S&P cut the rating of 11 US and EU banks, including Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS and Wells Fargo Bank. I guess if ratings must be cut, at least there is safety in numbers. What are you going to do when everyone goes down?

Outside of the States, it looks like the land of chocolate and waffles is not doing very well. Belgium's attempt to bailout Fortis got frozen as Prime Minister Yves Leterme tendered his resignation after having reportedly politically meddling to sway a court ruling. Apparently this is the third time their government collapsed. I had no idea.

The Girl With The Short Hair

Last year I went from that was down below the middle of my back, to a really bad short japanese-boy-rockstar cut. My hair grows fast so while I was mortified & stuck with pinning it back and trying to tie it up in all sorts of ways, with ribbons and clips, it eventually grew back to past my shoulders by September of this year. Being stuck with thick, thick hair I got fed up and went to go get it cut again into a straight across, above the shoulders/longish bob.

Then, I went home and chopped it all off to have it super short in the back, with an A-line cut in the front. Kind of like Victoria Beckham, but less extreme and shorter. How does it feel? Totally awesome. Here are some cuties that might inspire you to cut it short.

The best part is that you figure out fun ways to do your hair, it's just easier to take of! Best part? If you can work the curling iron and get a bunch of curls, it's completely adorable. It definitely becomes a deciding factor on how you style your outfits.

What are your thoughts on girls with short hair?

As for my next hair cut? I'm definitely going to go for a Shannyn Sossamon look.

Little Frivolous Somethings

When I was a kid, Christmas was about finally getting that one toy I've wanted all year long. When I grew older, it was about finally getting that one big fashion item that I've been craving for since all season. Now that I'm a bit older and (hopefully) wiser, I'm beginning to think that maybe that perfect Christmas gift is not about getting that big ticket item, but about getting that little frivolous something that will make you smile. Because really, I'd like to be present when a big ticket item is bought for me- just in case anything goes wrong. Besides, you'd be really broke if you bought something big for everyone you loved!

When I say frivolous, I do not mean something completely useless. It has got to be something that I would actually use, that little something that I've been meaning/wanting to buy but have put it on the backlog because there are more practical things on my list (like toothpaste, vacuum cleaners and Tweezerman tweezers- though if all else fails, these would not be a bad idea. At least they're useful!). Here are a few things on my backlog:
Essie nail varnish set. I am a HUGE fan of professional nail varnish (they go on SO much smoother and chips less!), Essie in particular. One can never have too much nail varnish, because they come in so many different colors and your favourite ones will start to dry out and coagulate after a while. I am especially loving this little gift set from Essie, because it encompasses all the classic colors one MUST have in their repertoire. They are also in delightfully small bottles that are actually more easy to carry and well, just the right size. I have personally never finished a bottle of nail varnish. Plus, did I mention that they are only $15 (they are usually $6-7 a bottle)!

The next thing on my list, are Shu Uemura fake lashes. Frivolous? Yes, for $20, they can only be used for one night. But fun? Definitely! I'd love to know what it feels like to have ridiculously long and perfect lashes for one night. This would also be the perfect time to give them out, because what better time is there to try fake lashes then New Years Eve? Speaking of New Years Eve, I have a vision. A vision of myself in a simple dress (of undecided color as of now) with a low side bun accessorized with this fabulous piece of purple feather (right). And if that plan should go awry, I can be masculine chic, in this adorable hat (left). I can even use this for Halloween next year! Spending $18 on literally a piece of feather is definitely not practical, but it will definitely draw a smile from me :)
Other random cute things on my list is a munny and a lego Ipod speaker. I don't really need ipod speakers, but I definitely wouldn't mind one that is so small and cute! And actually, I have a Munny. But mine didn't come out as I would like it to, so I'd love a second chance to decorate a Munny (including markers and other decorating materials would also be a nice touch).
Not exactly "little" , but I've always been very intrigued with lomography. I love taking pictures and I'd love to try out the different effects of lomography. The camera is not too expensive at $50 (compared to real digital cameras anyway), but if you factor in film and developing etc, it is actually a very expensive random hobby. Like those polaroids back in the days!

The purple frame (left) is not just a random piece of art. It is a mini DNA portrait! HG and I saw it on CNBC's list of weird gift ideas and our inner nerds are awaken. You really cannot get more personalized than a picture of your own DNA composition. And for someone to go to the effort of collecting your DNA sample and then go have it made.... that's a LOT of effort.

Then there are classes. Cooking classes, dancing classes, it would just be FUN to take a random class with friends even though you will never be able to replicate that 5 layer chocolate cake you just made at home. My friends just did a Christmas Cupcake decorating class, and I am SO jealous, because it looked so much fun. I wish I was there! Sur la Table offers cooking classes for $69 and I'm sure there are lots more similar places that I don't know of yet. Whatever you want to learn, there will be a class for it somewhere!

And last on my list is a really cute and big stuff toy. Something cute so it'll look good on my bed and something big and cushiony so I can lean on it while I read. I know, I am a kid at heart :P 8 more days til Christmas!!!

Image Source: Essie, Sephora, DNA 11 and Urban Outfitters
