MBA programs do not include extensive legal coursework. Most MBA programs have one or possibly two business law courses, usually focused on contract law. Students who are interested in pursuing further legal studies may take courses at the university's law school or possible even take a joint MBA/JD program, completing both law school and business school at the same time, usually in a four years program. An MBA may not be the same to a winning gamble voucher, but the chances are superior that your earnings will increase after earning your degree -- making those extra years of school worthwhile. Just be sure that you're pursuing the right degree for the right reasons and, of course, good luck with that graduate school application!

To do or not to do an MBA distance learning course seems to be a major question which haunts many. Much has been said about the pros and cons of doing an MBA in the distance learning mode; while some advocate it others are dead against it. However before we give our take on it here are a few facts about the MBA distance learning course.

There are hundreds of different accredited colleges that offer the distance MBA course. Many of them are reputed colleges while some do not have much credibility. When planning for a distance MBA course ensure that -like when selecting any MBA course you remain judicious. Select the right course and the institute carefully when you go for it. Remember like when selecting the right regular MBA course even when selecting the distance MBA course it is essential to pay heed to the apt institute selection.

There are thousands of people out there who want to complete their MBA courses while retaining their full time jobs. Thus, the distance MBA courses seem to be the best option set for them. Yet, confusion seems to prevail all around as to whether a distance MBA course has the similar value as the normal courses.

Submission and confirmation of online application form through the website www.dte.org.in/mba for Maharashtra state/OMS/J&K/NRI/PO/Foreign national/foreign students/children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries candidates: first date – 18.01.2010, last date – 03.02.2010

Admission to first year of two year full time post graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Business Management (PGDBM)/Business Administration (PGDBA).
The institutes which qualify for the admission process as per these rules are:

• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

• Recognised by the Government of Maharashtra.

• Affiliated to any one of the ten Non Agricultural / Non Technological Universities in Maharashtra state.

Following are the types of Institutes in the Maharashtra state covered by these rules;

a) All Government Management Institutes

b) All University Departments of Management

c) All University Managed Management Institutes

d) All Unaided Management Institutes whose Association has given consent to participate in the CAP rounds conducted by the State Government.

The admission to the courses MBA/MMS is centralized and is covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.
ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility Criteria for appearing to MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010:
Candidate should have Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

Appeared for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years
duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

1. • Information brochure alongwith the Application Kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the identified post offices mentioned below during contact hours from 18/01/2010 to 02/02/2010 (excluding Public Holidays) against the payment of the application form processing fees.

• It is mandatory to procure the information brochure and go through it carefully. The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure. The further admission process, especially in respect of Private Unaided Institutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations.

• Submission of the application form in response to this advertisement will amount to accepting the afore said rules & regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules & regulations as legal, valid and correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules & regulations.

• The Centralized Admission Process will consist of first 3 rounds of allotment and the fourth (i.e. last) round of counseling. Candidates are instructed to carefully read the Annexure-I of the Information Brochure to understand the eligibility criteria for participating in each round.

Candidates willing to pursue their Executive PGDM program from IMT Ghaziabad will have to sit for the IMT Entrance Test. The program offered by the institution is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The Executive PGDM program is specially meant for the working professionals. This enables the working professionals to enhance their career growth prospects without hampering their job.

Candidates having a bachelor's degree in any stream from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission. At least five years of work experience is essential for the candidates to take admission. Special preference is given to the candidates sponsored by the respective companies.
