Billy Crawford (born Billy Joe Crawford on May 16, 1982) is a Filipino American musician and actor with musical influences from R&B, Pop, and Soul. Billy Crawford became known around Europe and Asia with song titles such as "When You Think About Me", "Never My Love", "Steamy Nights"[2] and "Bright Lights". Billy is also multilingual, being fluent in two Philippine languages, his native Tagalog as well as Cebuano. His second language is American English and he is conversational in European French. Billy has been living in New York City, USA, since 1998. Although he has resided in Paris for five years and for one year in London, he currently resides in Los Angeles as of 2007. In 2008, he went to Manila to host Pinoy Dream Academy's uberture.

Crawford, 26, is scheduled to be back to the Philippines on May 27, 2008, to host ABS-CBN’s most popular shows, including Pinoy Dream Academy[4], ASAP Mania, and Your Song. His new album (distributed by ABS-CBN and Universal) will be released worldwide by December, and he will perform with Sarah Geronimo in Araneta Coliseum concert later. [source]

Britney Spears - Womanizer

First a snippet of it was leaked. Then its release got pushed back. And now, finally, Britney Spears' new song, "Womanizer," has arrived.

The tune is the first single off Brit's upcoming album, Circus, due out Dec. 2—her 27th birthday.

Earlier this week, the pop princess shot the song's music video at L.A. hot spot Elevate and in the kitchen of the hip eatery Takami Sushi & Robata.

A source tells E! News that despite paparazzi pics of the singer leaving the set wearing a short black wig, she actually dons a long black wig for the video, adding, "Britney was wearing tight leather pants and a tuxedo top and vest, and she had fake tattoos running up and down her arms."

So take a listen to the new track, which debuted this morning on Z100 in New York, and let us know if was worth the wait. —Reporting by Whitney English [source]

* The first single "Now or Never", performed by the High School Musical 3 cast premiered on Radio Disney on July 11, 2008. The album version was released on iTunes on September 2, 2008. A preview of its use in the movie, along with clips of the movie premiered on Disney Channel on July 30, 2008. It features the East High Wildcats vs. West High Knights basketball championship game.

* The second single "I Want It All", performed by Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan Evans (Lucas Grabeel) premiered on Radio Disney on August 15, 2008. The album version was released on iTunes on September 9, 2008. Two preview videos premiered on Disney Channel during the world premiere of The Cheetah Girls : One World, on August 22, 2008. Both feature Sharpay and Ryan singing and dancing about fame.

* The third single, "A Night to Remember" , performed by the High School Musical 3 cast, premiered on Radio Disney on September 26, 2008 and was released on iTunes on September 30, 2008. A preview of the official music video premiered on Disney Channel during the world premiere of The Suite Life on Deck on September 26, 2008. The music video features the cast dancing on prom night.

* The fourth single, "Right Here, Right Now", performed by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens premiered on Radio Disney on October 10, 2008 and was released on iTunes on October 14, 2008.

* The song "Can I Have This Dance", performed by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, is a promotional single. If a ticket for the movie is purchased, then the buyer can download the song on iTunes. Previously, the song was released as a single on iTunes but was later removed.

Evolver is the third studio album by R&B/soul singer John Legend, issued by GOOD Music and Columbia Records set to be released on October 28, 2008. Guest artists on the album are to include Kanye West, Brandy, Estelle and Andre 3000.

John Legend has been quite busy since releaing his sophomore album "Once Again" back in 06'. Hero is the first single from Nas' upcoming album, which was initially set to be titled "N*****" (the N Word), but was changed for obvious reasons. As of now, Nas states that the album is untitled, but the true fans know what the real title is. Hero is a banger produced by Polow Da Don and features the lovely Keri Hilson, who's becoming the female T-Pain nowadays lol. She's getting on EVERYONE'S tracks [Chris Brown is releasing Superhuman as his next single] ahaha.

Seeing Sounds is N.E.R.D's long awaited comeback album, to be released on June 10th. After giving the album a listen, there are definitely some crazy tracks like the single Everyone Nose, as well as ones that don't interest me that much. I guess this album is all about opinion; some will love it, some won't. Below, preview the song Anti Matter, which they played at Kanye's Glow In The Dark Tour [which I attended... Flavors of Entanglement

Morissette has noted an expansion of her musical sound on Flavors of Entanglement, and that there are "more technological aspects to it on a sonic level" than previously. She said that because of her love for dancing, the album incorporates beats and loops that enable one to, in her words, "dance your face off". She has described the album as "a combination of everything" in which she has a musical interest, including hip hop beats and organic instruments. Morissette has referred to the album as "techno-sounding but organic" and said, "I like fusion." According to Billboard magazine, the album "balances world- and folk-influenced tracks against the experimental pop leanings of producer Guy Sigsworth".

The first single from this album will be "Magic" a further expansion of the sultry, classic R&B sound that powered his 2006 breakthrough, "The Evolution of Robin Thicke". Initially planned to be released in 2007, Tha Carter III's largest delay came after the majority of the tracks were leaked and distributed on mixtapes, such as "The Drought Is Over Pt. 2" and "The Drought Is Over Pt. 4". Wayne initially decided to use the leaked tracks, plus four new tracks, to make a separate album, titled Tha Carter III: The Leak. The Leak was to be released December 18, 2007, with the actual album being delayed until March 18, 2008, The release of The Leak in this format never came to fruition, but an official EP titled The Leak and containing five tracks was released digitally on December 25, 2007. Tha Carter III now has a release date of June 10, 2008.. The first single "Lollipop", featuring Static has been released. The single quickly became the rapper's most commercially successful song of his career thus far, topping the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first Top 10 single for Wayne as a solo artist, as well as his first #1 on the chart. It also gave him his first #1 on the Hot Rap Tracks.

He has announced several possible projects following Tha Carter III, including a collaboration with rapper Juelz Santana entitled I Can't Feel My Face. He has also told the website HipHopDX.com about a possible R&B album titled Luv Sawngz by him, singing using a vocoder. He has also tentatively scheduled a collaboration album with singer Lloyd titled Best of Young Worlds.

In January 2008, DJ Drama stated that there would be a third installation of the Dedication mixtape series with Wayne, who has instead stated that he will do an album, not mixtape, under the title.

E=MC² debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 463,000 copies sold, making it the biggest opening week sales of her career. With six number one albums, Carey is now tied with Janet Jackson in the U.S. for the third most number one albums for a female artist, behind Madonna with seven and Barbra Streisand's eight chart toppers. In its second week, the album topped the chart again with 182,000 copies sold.E=MC² is Carey's first album to spend two straight weeks at #1 since 1995's Daydream.The album has sold 932,000 copies to date.

On the UK Album Chart, it debuted at number three, selling 34,800 copies. This was her highest peak position in the UK since Butterfly, which peaked at number two. It debuted at the top on the United World Chart with 617,000 copies sold and held the top position for two consecutive weeks, selling 1,401,000 units to date. In the Philippines, the album reached Gold status selling over 15,000 copies in just eight days.

On April 15, 2008, the same day the album was released, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa proclaimed April 15 officially as "Mariah Carey day" in Los Angeles. It was in part of celebrating Carey's eighteenth number one single, "Touch My Body". Also, from April 25, 2008 through April 27, 2008 the Empire State Building was lit up in Carey's motif colors — lavender, pink, and white — in celebration of her achievements in the world of music.

"Touch My Body" was chosen as the lead single of the album. The song received positive reviews by music critics Blender's critic calling it a "pop genius making genius pop". It was a moderate success peaking in the top 20 in most countries, but was way more successful in the U.S. Entering the Billboard Hot 100 at number fifty-seven the song climbed to the top of the chart, becoming Carey's 18th number one single on the chart, pushing her to second place among artists with the most number one singles in the rock era and first place as a solo artist in the same category, surpassing Elvis Presley. The achievement was attributed to a record-breaking digital sales debut, as 286,000 copies were sold in its first week of availability.

On Carey's official website, "Bye Bye" was announced as the second single from the album. The song premiered on radio April 7, 2008 and has so far peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In June of 2008, Mariah performed "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" at the MTV Japan Video Music Awards. Later at a press conference, Mariah herself confirmed that the song will be her third single and a video will be shot in Hawaii in the coming weeks.

Chris Brown is one of many artist who will be re-releasing an album this year. The "Exclusive: Forever Edition" is due out June 3rd!! It will include hit single "Forever", "Super Human" w/ Keri Hilson and these two tracks. Enrique Iglesias - Can You Hear Me?

It has been extremely slow lately and not much has come our way. Enrique's song "Can You Hear Me?" leaked some time ago but I wanted to wait and find out it's purpose. It has been chosen as the official song of the UEFA Euro 2008 football tournament. He is set to perform the song live at the June 29, 2008 final in Vienna, Austria. The song is also set to be on a re-issue of the Insomniac album being released in certain countries. The CDM includes the Main Version, and Moto Blanco mixes. Deff check it out, Enjoy!!
