Hi Guys,
One of the first systems that really got me going in internet marketing, was Shaun Smiths 700inaday system. Although it didnt get me to 700inaday, i learnt more from his easy to follow step by step videos, than i had in the endless amounts of money i spent on other systems, he is a genuine guy who has alot to offer. He even gives you a telephone number which you can call him on anytime you need help, he is always glad to take your calls.

Listen guys ive just recently stumbled upon a great online business, how it works is you sign up for a 7 day free trail. After the trail period you will pay $10 a month, or you can cancel before the 7 day period and you will NOT be charged. What you have to do is sign up and then refer other people to sign up. When you first started with your network marketing company, you made lists of your top one hundred or so prospects. This was a fantastic way to jump start your business. Maybe you were fortunate and had great results or, like me, maybe you didn't have quite the luck you first thought was possible. Which ever spot you find yourself in, you may be wondering what step to take next. First of all it does matter where you are at. We will assume you are still dealing with your friends, family, and acquaintances, or your warm market.

Most likely you have been told to work on building new relationships. Don't have the mind set that you won't need to work on your current relationships if you are still working with your warm list. Granted, the relationship is already built. But, for better results, you need to work on the relationship, and not work on the selling.

Look at it this way. You, personally, don't want to be "sold" to. So, apply this rule to others. Don't sell. Not to your warm list, not to your cold list, not to anybody. Think of two people, they know each other casually, and ~wham~ out of the blue one asks the other to marry them! Weird, yes. But, sometimes that is the effect we have when we present our offer to people.

This is termed as a "Push". And who likes pushy people. What ideally should happen is a "Pull". A slow gradual pull, not where you lasso them and forcible yank them to you. But a gradual magnetic pulling towards you and your wonderful business. So slight that they never notice.

OK, so then how to you approach this? As you would in growing a garden. Nurture, constantly. If you want to be a success in this type of business, it's all about relationships.

Think:

F - Family
O - Occupation
R - Recreation
M - Money

Then ask:

You: Hey June how's the family doing?
June: Great!!! The kids are getting ready to finish school for the year and hitting the summer.
You: That sounds great. How's your new job going?
June: Well, my job is going well, but Steve is about to lose his. The company may not be
around much longer due to the company laying off people.
You: Well, that's not good. Hey, let me ask you this. If there was a way that I could help you guys out financially, would you like more information?
June: Sure!
You: When can we get together?
June: Tomorrow night, I get off at 5 and it's a free night for us.

You need to keep this statement in mind: "If there was a way that I could help you...would you like more information?"

When you carry on a normal conversation, not trying to push your business, you will find that not every one is doing well. At some point, the conversation will turn negative about money, especially in this economic environment. You, then, are in the position to help. To nurture. To slowly show that there is a way to change their situation.

I can absolutely guarantee you one thing. If you constantly hit them over the head with your opportunity, not only will they not sign up, but people will run from you when they see you coming. And if you never have had a decent conversation with someone, other than a passing "Hi" in the past, they will resent your sudden attention in what seems to be to a scheme to use them for your profit.

Try taking another approach, a softer one. Like your garden, give it time to grow and flourish once you plant the seed! You have a prime opportunity to really help people, to drastically change their lives. Don't force the issue and blow it. You will have to show you care about your prospects before they will care about what you have for them, especially when it comes to money. Work on those relationships.

I will tell you that the reason this question is asked is because you are trying to build a business around your family and around your job that provides your lifestyle. The fact is that 90% of the participants in the industry is part time and yes you can be successful. But what is your definition of part time? Is it 1 hour per week or is it 32 hours a week or somewhere in the middle. I will tell you that I have always built my networking businesses part time. If you said 1 hour per week, I will tell you that it will be very difficult to be successful in network marketing part time. Now, if you answered 32 hours a week, and you are working another job and need time for the family, I will say that you can be successful in network marketing, but you may hate it more and will cause you hurt and grief, and that may sabotage you more than it will help you.

So yes you want to find a point somewhere in the middle that you and your family are willing to live with. If you are married and both love the products from the company, and want the success, yes that will build you leverage. In one of my articles, I talk about the secrets of network marketing is getting customers to buy the products. Now, that is true, but if you need to find 100% of your customers, it will take you longer to reap the rewards you want. Now, add one other person finding customers and you have had 100% increase in production.This is building leverage. The more leverage you have, the less time you have to put in, but this takes time, because you want to equip those working with you with the resources they need, and for 2-3 years they need you.

Do I have to sell products door to door or hold parties or meetings?

Wow! I can not believe this question comes up so often, but it does. Door to Door, parties and meetings are a thing of the past. Yes in any business, you will want to have meetings, so you can help new people but they do not need to come to your home or to a hotel. Telecommuting and internet based have helped out so much. In the early network marketing industry years, people use to have block parties and the neighborhoods would socialize more. In today's world, everyone is getting busier and not having those time to get to know their neighbors. Also, with the majority of the products, you can order them online and have them shipped to your home. Your home is your sanctuary and you do not need to make it your office or store front. Most companies have policies for customers that if the product does not deliver, you can return them and get your money back. So if you are doing business over the phone, you need to communicate how you stand behind your products and services.

Isn't network marketing one of those pyramid schemes?

This question is probably number one on everyone's list. Now, what is your definition of a pyramid. Most will say that the first person in wins and gains all profits. Now, the fact that the governments regulate this and insure that someone lazy does not reap the rewards for doing nothing and getting rich off you. If you look into their compensation plans, you will see how far up your work will benefit someone. Also, in order for someone to be paid, they must meet qualifications. This is where it will get that couch potato off of their butts. If you are working hard and they do nothing they get what they produce, nothing. Now, the biggest pyramid is the US Social Security System, yet everyone participates in it and some people will never see the benefits.

I'm not a salesperson, so this probably isn't for me?

Well if your not a sales person, you are the type of person I love to find. Put yourself in a sales position as a customer. The sales person is trying to get you to do something you do not want to do and they will give you something in exchange for your cash. Now, if you love to help people, share things that have helped you and become rewarded for that, you are a candidate for network marketing. Now, I want to emphasize this fact, a no is a good answer. If the products and services do not meet the persons want, needs and desires, you should be the first person to say, this is not for you and walk away. If you get the person to spend money on it, you have just been promoted to sales person and the people most people hate. Know your products and if it will not help the person, would you want to be a friend to someone that pushes you to spend money on something that does not help?

Do I have to sponsor many people to be successful?

In successful companies, you do not even have to sponsor anyone. Yes you can have the mom and pop type store and make some money. You do not have to become a national chain. However, the incomes will be a little slower being the small store out there. Would GM, Ford, Toyota or any other corporation make the money that they do with only one store front run by one person? This is where you limit your income potential. But you will make money, but only you can say what amount of money you want to make. Now, say you make $1000 in sales, and your paid 10%, you earned $100. Now add 10 people who will do the same and if you make 5 % on what they do, you would have $600. Which is more successful for you? Now, this is where would you rather have a million dollars or a penny that doubles every day comes in. It really is leverage that allows you to build more incomes.

A lot of people ask this, because they do not know alot of people and it becomes very intimidating. However, if you had a customer that loved the results of your products. You were making your income from the sales. Now, what would happen if you said, "Joe, I know you are my customer, and you love the product. I was curious, if I showed you how you could have your products for free and maybe even paid to use it, would that be something you want to know more about?". What if only 1% said yes? Your business would be growing. You only need to sponsor people to help you get your income to where you want it to be.
