Do you know that web pages opened using Vodafone & Etisalat internet goes through a proxy which alter and optimize the code to save bandwidth ?
This sometimes breaks pages (ex: linkedin) you will then need to "hard-refresh" the page to load correctly

If you have a website and you do not want such proxy to alter your code, you can add the following header only in your .htaccess and enable header mod in apache

Header set Cache-Control "no-transform"

Now the proxy will not alter the code anymore

There is no one solution to this problem, try all the following

I found that Yahoo may drop an incoming email to a user just because they suspect this email to be spam, the mail gets dropped silently and the user will never get it in SPAM folder and will not get any warning or notice

If you are using php mail() function, you may need to add "-f$fromaddress" as an argument

Also i wasn't able to send email from Thunderbird, i managed to fix it by changing Media mail server to "XXX.mail01.mtsvc.net" instead of "XXXX.accessdomain.com"

Yesterday while investigating a BUG in my business website, I found that Yahoo may drop an incoming email to a user just because they suspect this email to be spam, the mail gets dropped silently and the user will never get it in SPAM folder and will not get any warning or notice

How to reproduce

Send the following email from any Gmail account to any Yahoo account, the body should contain only the following text, no signatures, no additions or removals, add any subject

Dear,

We will also Review your Account and will
only contact you if we need more information

Trial Account
Username

Expected Behavior

The message should be delivered to the user inbox or in SPAM folder

Accrual Behavior

The message never reach the user, the sender gets an error reply saying “Message not allowed”

Conclusion

It seems a BUG in Yahoo Spam Filter system, instead of marking the suspected message as SPAM it is refused, imagine how much emails has been incorrectly dropped this way

Solution

The main cause is that the charts are taking long time to be rendered, maybe because of server-side code, also old highcharts versions may contains bugs and does not handle performance as well as the new ones, so you need to:

1- Update to the latest highcharts code

Went to Google Developer Console removed all "Referrers" in the key generation section ( you must see "Any referrer allowed" ) and regenerated the "key", since i was testing from a local dev server

Then i got "keyExpired" error, an error which disappeared after 3 minutes, as expected probably because of distributed propagation of newly generated key

The php code appears as html comments if you did a view source for the php file

Version: PHP 5.3.3

Solution

1- Edit the following files

/etc/php5/cli/php.ini
/etc/php5/apache2/php.ini

2- Change the following setting to On

short_open_tag = Off

3- Restart the server

Or you can change your code to use<?PHP instead of <?

Solution

CASE 1: If You have reference attribute in attr.xml and you have many themes, you need to fill this attribute in all of these themes

CASE 4: The theme containing your reference is not applied to the Activity (either in Manifest or by using setTheme ) that is you have an attribute reference in your activity's layout but the theme filling this attribute is not applied to the Activity

IMPORTANT NOTE: If this error happened once, you will need to uninstall/install the App for the fix to be applied ( may be to clear some cache for App files )

My solution was to override ImageView and do a check in order not to draw recycled images

Solution

My Case: i was extending android classes and using methods from API LEVEL 11 ( Android 3.0 ) and testing on API LEVEL 10 ( Android 2.3 )

I solved this issue by making special handling for API Level below 11 using this function

Issue

When testing your Android App Widget, the layout views disappears or get deleted after changing screen orientation to landscape

In my case i was using "RemoteViewsService.RemoteViewsFactory" to populate a ListView inside the widget

Solution

"When the screen is rotated the entire appwidget is rebuilt using the last RemoteViews object you passed to AppWidgetManager.updateAppWidget(). Thus is it very important that every time you call updateAppWidget() you pass a RemoteViews object that has everything set on it that the widget needs if it were to be completely rebuilt"

So in my case i was using a code to update only one field in the widget and then i run appWidgetManager.updateAppWidget(appWidgetIds[i], remoteViews);

The system caches this last update which includes only one element populated so that when i change orientation it show that cached RemoteView

My Solution:

Instead of using "updateAppWidget" use "partiallyUpdateAppWidget" which does not cause RemoteViews caching

Example
