Must demonstrate ability to work with design softwares such as CorelDraw. PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator. InDesign, Corel photopaint and QuarkXPress
A good knowledge of print production processes is mandatory
A minimum of 3 years post NYSC working experience preferably in an advertising agency or printing press
Age: 22 – 30 years

17.) Social Media Officers (Ref: SMO)
Successful candidates will be responsible for initiating, tracking and delivering planned social media Activities for the organization.

Requirements
BA/BSc or HND in Communications. Journalism, Liberal Arts or other relevant discipline, or its equivalent with minimum of second class lower/lower credit
Good knowledge and application of the various social media platforms and their convergence
Minimum of 3 years post NYSC working experience in a similar capacity
Knowledge of media technologies, including flash, multimedia and audio/video content will be an added advantage
Age: 22-28 years

18.) Marketing Managers (Ref: MKM)
Successful candidates will assist with implementation of marketing strategies.

Requirements
B.Sc in Marketing with a minimum of second class lower degree
Membership of CIM, CIPR or any other related professional qualification
MBA or MSC is an added advantage
Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience
Age: 25-35 years

19.) Marketing and Sales Officers (Ref: MSO)
Successful candidates will assist with implementation of sales effort of the organization to cover a broad spectrum of services and products

Requirements
BSc/HND in Marketing with minimum of second class lower degree / lower credit
Must have 2-3 years post NYSC working experience in a reputable organization as a salesperson
Must be innovative and possess strong conceptual ability with experience in business promotions
Must be ready to travel

20.) Human Resources Supervisors (Ref: HRS)
Successful candidates will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the Administrative and Human Resources units.

Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, Psychology, Law, Sociology or any of the Social Sciences with minimum of second class lower/lower credit
Membership of CIPM, ICSA, CIPD or any other relevant professional body
Must have a minimum of 3-4 years post NYSC experience in the human resources department in a structured and reputable organization with a minimum of 40 staff
An excellent command of English Language and above average business writing and communication skills
Age: 25 – 33 years

21.) Administrative and Human Resources Officers (Ref: ADO)
You will be responsible for general administrative and human resources tasks.

B.Sc/HND Business Administration, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Psychology, Law, Sociology or any of the Social Science discipline with a minimum of second class lower/lower credit from a reputable institution

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to recruit categories of ad-hoc staff that will officiate in the forthcoming General Election Exercise. This are the categories:

1) Category A – Serving NYSC members.

2) Category B1- Undergraduates of Federal Tertiary Institutions

3) Category B2- Undergraduates of State Tertiary Institutions

4) Category C – All 2009 NYSC members and Federal civil servants (Grade level 6-8) serving in the states.

Applications are being accepted up until March 18, 2011 by 5:00pm.

An online data bank has been created to accept applications. All interested applicants are requested to first register and then follow instructions to fill out the application form.

If you have registered previously as ad-hoc staff and obtained the unique Identification Number, you will not be required to register again but NYSC 2010 batch A corps members would be required to log back into the site to re-validate themselves by updating their data.

UNICEF Jobs in Nigeria - Jobs, Careers Nigeria UNICEF Nigeria seeks the the services of Warehouse Assistants who will be responsible for the receipt, safekeeping, distribution, monitoring, data based documentation and inventory management of all programme and administrative supplies received at UNICEF transit warehouse, Lagos.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties

1. Assist in implementation of the supply component of the Nigeria country programme including procurement and distribution of supplies to field project sites. Liaise with Supply Section in Country Office, Abuja on all supply related issues.
2. Coordinate with project officers in the preparation of appropriate documents: supply requisitions (PGMs), purchase orders, etc., according to procurement specifications and procedures. Maintain an up-to-date supply progress control system, maintain filing system, register all correspondence and contact for suppliers.
3. Undertake local procurement, request quotations, prepare purchase orders, issue all correspondence on procurement and check and verify all sundry invoices for payment. Maintain suppliers’ file.
4. Assist the Operations/Programme officers with logistics planning and facilitate efficient storage and distribution of supplies and equipment to end-users from field warehouses. Maintain, prepare reports and update the field warehouse inventory.
5. Undertake field visits to project sites to inventory and monitor supply inputs as may be required. Propose corrective actions to improve logistics procedures.
6. Collect information from records and reports and prepare periodic and ad hoc reports on project activities.
7. Maintain Programme Manager System (ProMs), supply monitoring system, participate in preparation of ProMs generated supply status reports required for donor reports, budget reviews, programme analysis, annual reports, appeals, etc. Participate in the briefing and training of project personnel.
8. Visit manufacturers to access their supply potential and develop current market research for potential manufacturers on specific items. Participate in the evaluation of suppliers’ performance on the basis of products against quality, price and delivery criteria.
9. Liaise with Country Office Supply Section in facilitating clearing of delivery of Field Office supplies in Lagos.

Minimum qualification and competencies

* Completion of secondary education. First university degree or its equivalent in warehousing/inventory management or in business administration with special training in warehouse/inventory management.
* Six years of progressively responsible experience in the management of warehouse and inventory with some experience in supply and logistics. Experience from big and reputable institutions, an asset.
* IT Skills – Computer literacy and the ability to effectively use standard office software tools and other office technology to produce reports, create documentation and maintain electronic filing systems. Ability to use softwares for inventory management is required.
* Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of local language of the duty station is an asset.
* Communication, working with people and drive for result.
* Analyzing.
* Applying technical expertise.
* Following instructions and procedures.
* Planning and organizing.
* Knowledge in inventory management, monitoring and reporting particularly for programme implementation.
