Well watching hard hitting cricket, high voltage drama of world cup on television is a treat. And also having high profiled cricketers taking part in this huge event has made it even bigger. But it is quite disappointing to see that some of our big cricketers are not performing well and Indian skipper is one of them. It’s been a long time that he scored even a fifty in an ODI. Recent performances (31, 34, 19, 12, and 22) in World Cup show that he has really gone out of the way. We all were overjoyed when he played a blistering knock of 108 in just 64 balls against the KIWIS, hoping that Dhoni is coming back into his prime form but all aspiration gone in vain. Still a very long way to go for

India

to win this world cup and we can only hope to see his “HELICOPTER SHOT”.

Yuvraj Singh, one of the most devastating as well as dependable batsmen we have in Team India; has shown with his performance in the league matches that he perhaps he is the only one who can perform well in pressure situations. With his consistent show he pushed Team India into the Quarterfinals. But the real challenge begins now when India will face Australia. Yes, it is a fact that Aussies are not been able to command the game for which they are known for but India has to push themselves to make Aussies run for their money.
