21 years old is right around the corner and I'm proud to say that I'm officially not a sucker for love.

I feel like I been there done that when it comes to relationships.

I have come a mighty long way from holding my pillow at night wishing that the guy in my english class would notice me days...

obviously that never got the guy to notice me and when they did they end up being not what I expected.

I know for a fact I need to stop jumping from one guy to the next in hopes of my version of a fairytale ending, a guy actually taking me out on a date!

It doesn't have to be the typical candle light dinner, why is that so hard?

I don't want to hear it’s a recession either!

diy cut offs

I'm so excited to finally make my first DIY cut offs although it really isn't my first time. I've been cutting jeans into shorts since I was 9 since I grew out of jeans pretty fast. I messed up alot of clothes because of that due to cutting them completely wrong and I occasionally got a whoopin for it, but it never stopped my love fashion and creative ideas, lol anyways... I got these levi's at the local thrift store for $1!! yay I found my gold mine thrift store and I'll be making a post hopefully soon

Summer heat.

With the temperatures increasing, I'm dreading each day as I miss the cool winter breeze.

Heat waves rippling on the black asphalt holding up the gas guzzling trucks coughing out grey smoke out their pipes into the great blue sky.

Girls dressed so skimpy I can’t tell the difference between dogs and men, as their eyes fixate onto a statuesque woman's curves walking by.

Showing out; guys playing ball and girlfriends cruising down the street for everyone to see.

Music bursting, base bumping out the speakers. Windows down, shades on, young. wild. free.

Heat changed mentality, laid back lax lifestyle, fun and memories begin.

But I’ll always remember December, those memories lies within....to be continued

The dollar tree has some brand name items that you can find at walmart or target. I know the dollar tree doesn't sound appealing like I dont get food there.. smh.. but I get my cleaning supplies, school supplies, books (they got best selling authors books) organization supplies and my conditioner since I use a lot of conditioner for detangling and what not... =)

This is the norm of what I buy/bought.. there's more but I couldn't find em.. Only a $1 though? get out of here....

I organize my makeup using glass candle holders, for how much? a dollar. mhmm dont sleep on the dollar tree folks! ^_^

Sometimes I wonder why things happen, but I gotta let em be, I know God has a plan for me.

But as I'm stuck in this empty room locked in from the world, I sit on my blow up bed and wonder...

Whats the real reason why he wanted to call it quits..

I ponder and analyze the unfortunate events that led me to this point and I cry as the pain burns inside of me.

This can't be life, living with two male roomates in this strangers basement, living off of $1 dollar frozen dinners...

STRESSING! that I'm not gonna make next months rent and my bills?

My over consumed thoughts get the best of me as I think of the right words to say when my mom asks me if I'm okay.

I'm alone but I'm growing stronger. I'm thankful and I'm blessed.

I was hoping to have a post on things I got from the goodwill, but I didn't find anything. womp.. but I went to the mall and Sephora/Victoria Secret made up for it.

I finally found a foundation that matches me, we'll see if it'll stay matching this summer. I doubt it but whatever I'm content for now.

I'm a 178 and blends well with my yellow undertones...success!

I've bee a fan of Victoria Secrets face primer ever since it came out, but they changed the formula on me, booo! at least it's oil free now.

I wanted a new scent for spring and I'm tired of Victoria's Bombshell smell, so I got a mini one just to feel it. I love the smell it's not too vanilla-y, the name pretty much describes it. It's divine. =)

Feb Faves:

I absolutely love Olay's Moisturizer. It's light and it doesn't make me look oily. I don't remember the price but its no more than $10.

I need makeup remover cloths becuase it's 10x easier to take off the makeup. The elf brand are only $3 at target.

I also been using the makeup mist and set from elf for $3. I don't notice the benefits of using it, maybe because it's so cheap but I use it anyways.

Lastly the maybelline lash stiletto is really good if you want something dramatic, its hard to reach the corners of your lashes but it does lengthen them without clumping.

I take both the hair, skin and nails as well as the fish oil 3 times a day. I've been slacking a lil lately but last month I saw a difference in my skin and my hair.

Maybe because I've been taking super care of them.

I've been eating a lot of spinach, salmon, brown rice, sardines, nuts and fruit. I need to drink more water though.

I have traction alopecia in the back of my head, due to tight braids. It sucks but hopefully it'll grow back.

Being natural has been tough for me but I'm gonna start blogging about my natural hair more now I that I know the trick to taking care of it. =]

I already use Smith's rosebud salve and I can't live without it. It's the best moisturizer for lips and skin. I don't remember how much it costs but I get it at Sephora.

What is the meaning of "being delivered"? It means to be set free from sin, temptation, bondages or anything that is hindering your walk with Christ. My flesh has become my worst enemy ever since I've been saved. Latley, I've been having constant thoughts of the past whether it is not forgiving someone for hurting me, regret, or just insecurites. The devil uses the guilt card on me all the time. "Remember what you did, or what they did to you, or you can't do that, or be that...remember?" The feeling of guilt, nothingness, worthless, the suicidal thoughts comes out of the clear blue sky and I'd be depressed for the rest of the day. Now I know I refuse to go back to be trapped in sin, because I've come this far. But God knows there was times I went to Him and then went back to my old ways because I felt discouraged. I believed, but my lifestyle was not Christ-like.

One night I experienced a self-deliverence. It was after bible study and I was on my way home. For that night I felt horrible. I felt like there was something in me that was just wieghing me down and I couldn't even put my finger on it. As I was driving home I decided I should just talk to God and the words poured out of me. I was sobbing and yelling out to God to help me, I kept on saying I'm a child of God. Then I started preaching to myself, I proclaimed to the devil, "I'm done, I'm done with you and I'm no longer listening to you anymore, I'm tired." I continued demanding to the devil, preaching and I'm thinking in my head all the words that were coming out my mouth are not my own, I was sure it came from God. Then I keep sobbing deeply, screaming and coughing like crazy to the point where I felt like I was drowning with air and I couldnt breathe normally. Some where after I was commanding to the devil I said in JESUS name, I started throwing-up air. I tried to stop because mind you I'm driving at the same time, but I couldnt. It didn't feel like I was physically throwing up anything, but my actions were indicating that I was throwing up, it was air, a spirit? Something that was deep, and heavy inside of me just came out of my body, my soul? After I was done starting praising God and thanking him and just humbling myself to him. I didnt know how to react what happened to me, until later that night my boyfriend told me what being delivered meant. I needed to be alone with God and to praise, and talk to him and ask for guidance. Once I had that experience, I know this is more real than ever, God is working through me and I have to change now so I can help others reach Him. How amazing is God!! God requires much of you, so there is no time for feeling not good enough for anything. Our Father has already forgiven you for whatever you done in the past, key is to pray, confess what you have done and ask for forgiveness.

Proverbs 28:13 You will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give them up; then God will show mercy to you.

Continuing to read and study the Bible is important, when you read His word your forever gaining knowledge and encouragement.

Joshua 1:8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

What is the devil gonna try to say next? Nothing, becuase once you get an understanding you can become bold in Christ, spread the good news, worship and have faith in Him.

Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the LORD always,for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.

Don't sleep on the word, because the devil doesn't sleep.

I'm gonna keep doing what I did when I moved to VA in September, I didn't make any new year resolutions because every time I do, I end up right back where I was the previous year. I have my priorities straight though, even with dating...because for those who read my early posts, I wasn't in a great relationship. But I've moved on officially, and God found someone 10x better for me =] . I'm going to focus extra hard in school and read that bible so I can get closer to God because He has proven to me that I can't do it my way. His way is the only way, had to learn that the hard way. I'm happy and ready to step into the new year with confidence, wisdom and faith three qualities I never thought I'd have ever. I'm so thankful... ^_^

it's the simmer sauce is pretty good, one thing I wish I did was season the chicken prior to cooking it and adding the sauce. It also wasnt spicy, I was expecting to feel the burn but it was good. It's not salty I end up adding salt to taste. But that's a good thing..
