I got this as a low-cost, cool-looking life jacket to go with the kayak I bought at the same time. If you're looking for a cheap way to get around the life-preservers-are-mandatory laws, and you weigh 90 to ~135 pounds, and you have a small frame, then this is the life jacket for you! It looks especially cool alongside the blue one (Halo: Red vs. Blue, anyone?).

Now on to why I returned mine: Listing says "Universal Adult", but more accurately sized for a child. I'm 5'8" with shirt size 15 1/2 32-33; this was ridiculously small on me. Weight capacity on product: min 90 lbs, no max given.

Putting it on it was clear that it was not sized for even an average adult. My dad even took the opportunity to tactfully tell me how he thought I looked in it. The back section is very thin, and on it is printed the weight capacity "Minimum 90 lbs [, no maxiumum] -- I highly doubt this would do me much good in an emergency.

Use my experience as a size chart.
I am 5'8" - too tall; looks [not good].
I am 180 lbs - too heavy; not going to save me.
I wear shirts sized 15 1/2 32-33 - I could put this on, but it looked a little [not good].
I wear pants with waist 32 or 33 - use that how you will; I don't recommend beyond that.

Overall statement: Average (and larger) adults should refrain from purchasing this product unless they're not planning on actually wearing it.

............The reason so many people are having size problems is that rashguards were originally made to wear under a wetsuit. They were to prevent rubbing and chafing, which can be a problem with long days of surfing, and they also help improve the warmth to some extent. They need to be very tight, as no one wants to be paddling out and have a loose shirt moving around and creeping up to your armpits, under your wetsuit. The sizings are correct if you use them under a wetsuit. I wear a medium shirt and can wear a medium rashguard just fine, but if you're buying this for a sunshirt or a beach shirt, even if you're playing around in the water, do what everyone suggests and buy one that's a lot larger. If you want it for surfing (even if you're in tropical water and are just using it as a sun protection top) buy the size it lists, or you're likely to find it won't stay down in place, even if you use the loop to fasten it to your trunks.............

I bought a pair of these sandals in February 2005 and am still wearing them. Like any sandal, they are fun and easy to wear. Just recently I've noticed that the front part of the soles has worn down and they are smooth now. Also the foam bed has started to crack in several places, but for the price I'd say I've gotten reasonable use out of them.

The bottle opener is a great conversation piece. Also rest assured, they do hold up to wear and tear. I was skeptical when I bought these how long they'd stay intact, but I can attest that they are still in and functional... kinda mangled, but still intact and functioning.

Also, if you think you're just gonna swing your leg up and crack open a beer like Mr. Joe Cool, then think again. I remember when I first got these I was at a backyard house party while in San Diego. I was flirting with these two girls, talkin' my game and trying to be smooth. So I grab another beer, and while talking to them, I lift my foot and try to crack the bottle open. Well, between trying to keep my balance and get the lip of the cap in the opener, I apparently shook it up a bit. When I finally did open it, the resulting explosion of foam shot all over me and the two girls. Not cool.

I would suggest taking the sandal off to use the bottle opener feature.

All and all, a great shoe. Fun and easy to wear.

Another tip: Make sure you wash these every so often! Stick 'em in the washing machine. I neglected to do this and developed a nasty case of athlete's foot from them. Just a heads up. Enjoy!

I threw this video together to say that the Asics Gel-Blur 33 are running shoes that pack a lot for the buck. One of the most well balance runners I have had the chance to wear. They perform well and with a price tag of $85, the weight of 10.5oz (super light), extreme comfort, breathes well, stability, and great styling; the shoe out preforms its price. Of course, there are other shoes in this price level, but I haven't found one quite like this yet. If you have any further question, I would be more than happy to answer back.

Since the invention of the tried and true 501® Original, Levi's® have defined the American man. Now, with fits like the Skinny, Straight, Boot Cut and Slim Taper, every man has the chance to redefine himself with his own unique style.
While much of the negative commentary concerned Levi Strauss's move away from domestic manufacturing has focused on the button-fly 501s, the bigger problem I have seen is with the old 1970's standby, the 505, which has a zipper as opposed to button fly. The variability on sizing and sew quality with the 505s is an issue if you are going to buy them online or mail order. You really have to try them on to see how they fit. The 501 are much easier to buy online or by mail order because the sizing is much less critical on the waist, which is the so-called "anti-fit" waist, meaning there is no curve to the rise (the distance between the crotch and the top of the waist), because the original 501s were merely cut down bib overalls which were made to hang, rather than be fitted to the waist. The biggest problem I have noted on the 505's is the variability in size in the thigh area, meaning that some fit baggy and some seem rather tight, even though they are theoretically the same size of a label. Since the 501s are more forgiving as far as sizing, if you are buying online you might consider them instead of 505s, unless you don't want the button fly.

I've purchased several Victorinox Swiss Army Knives and this one is by far my favorite. I've had it for over ten years and it is still going strong. My one complaint in general with buying pocket knives is that you always end up with at least one tool that you don't need and at least one tool that you wish you had. This knife has 3 tools in its back, 2 of which I never really use. One of those is the hook thing. I think you can use it to hook on to a piece of wire that is wrapped around something heavy then you use the rest of the knife as a handle. Haven't had the opportunity yet. The other is the sharp thing with the eyelet. Has something to do with being able to work with leather, I think. Haven't had the opportunity. The other tools all come in very handy although I wish the phillips screwdriver was more conveniently located. Use caution if you need to try to get much torque using the screwdrivers--because they don't lock, they can close on your fingers if you are not careful. And the tool I wish it had . . . the saw. One of my former swiss army knives had the saw blade, which worked incredibly well at cutting small pieces of wood and that sort of thing. In general, cannot complain at all about the quality of the knife; the blades open and close smoothly and the knife has served me well for a decade.

I'll start by saying this: "first time camper". I thought this might be a difficult task to build this tent, I was wrong. The wife and I took about 20 minutes or so putting this tent together in the rain. So this should give you an idea of how easy it is to assemble. This was perfect for my first camping experience.

Now as far as the space available once inside is unbelievable, I am 6 feet tall and my wife is 5' 8". I was able to stand up in this tent. We had an inflatable queen size bed with two medium size suitcases, a 10 gallon water container, a box approx size of 3 x 3 and a few other supplies and we were able to still get around once inside. It has two separate front zipper doors that open and close with ease and a the option of placing a divider in the tent if needed for another couple or kids.

It has two small storage compartments built into the inside to place keys or your cell phone to keep them off the floor of the tent, which was a great bonus for not letting me lose them.
Great air ventilation, and held up nice during rain with no leaks; straight out of the box!

The privacy in this tent is good; you can't see anything from the outside in, unless you leave your zipper door open. One other option I have to say was unexpected was the door's have a second zipper built into it to open from the inside to look outside with a mesh to keep the bugs out. Also has two mud flaps in front of both doors.

I don't know about 6 people fitting in this unless it is for survival reasons, but I believe you could probably fit 4 people in this tent and be comfortable.

So in all, I have nothing bad to say about this product as it was exactly what I was expecting if not better.
