2023-06-19T21:51:00.003-06:00

jude led a work out club outside :)

my view out the window

always picking his mama flowers

so many visitors in my shed

first farmers market day was a success

self appointed mascot

grandma and grandpa came to the market

date noight

she embroidered her shirt and is working on another one

cuddle buddles

saving this little bun bun from the cats

pickleball

my favorite sound is hazel playing music in our house

not our best day

first he got a fat lip at recess

then he fell backwards on his scooter on our driveway

i wasn't sure if he should go to the hospital or not but he was inconsolable...so we went

first we went to urgent care but he couldn't stay awake and started throwing up there

plus they didn't want to deal with his blood disorder

they wrapped him up and sent us to the ER

he threw up the whole way there

they had to give him an IV, a CT scan and monitor him for a while

but finally determined he had a concussion but no internal bleeding

phew

they gave him some factor 8 to help him stop bleeding and sent us home

poor baby

i had promised a crumbl cookie at the ER so we went the next day

michael was in NJ for the week and the ER was a lot to handle on my own

my nerves were fried the next day

feeling a little better

i was not feeling better

when i found two cups of PEE under jude's bed while i cleaned their room

henry fessed up later

i was so mad at him

but it didn't last when i saw him after school

and he was heartbroken that his class lost the big kickball tournament

a big loss

and he was so sad about it

trying to do our own nails

it's way harder than it looks

home another day with mama

happily playing

taking outfit pics with me outside :)

target

best friends

so happy my baby was feeling better

that concussion gave me a scare

looking so grown up

water balloon fight

backyard flowers

looking cute about to run

michael got the hint that i was not happy about the week alone

dealing with emergencies and pee surprises :(

and he had these delivered

a gymnastics bar at her friends' house gave her a black eye

last choir concert

just a friday afternoon treat :)

he's HOMEEEEEEE

henry was here

another successful market day

with some fun family customers

hazel curled henry's mohawk

in a rubiks cube phase

med check

i LOVE it when these two get along

it doesn't always happen but i think the farmers market has helped them bond

maniacs at the pediatrician

med check for henry

and post concussion check for jude

pretending they were dead fish flopping around

quick breakfast on the way to the airport to head home

we flew through iceland each way

and on the way home it was WINDY

almost home

flying over maple valley

hen was waiting at the end of the street for us

so grateful jennie took the kids for the weekend we left

and my dad spent the week with them while we were gone

and got them everywhere they needed to be

we made it

pretty much the main reason we went

and we wanted to tag along

no one told her we were coming

and we surprised her in her retirement home

she is the sweetest human

i love her

and FUNNY!

karin at 15 or so

her wedding at hackas church

i am so grateful to meet her

it was such a special day

i will never forget

she kept saying how full her heart was and how she was full of feelings and it felt like a dream

osterbybruk is the cutest tiny little city

we spotted an antique shop

and went through it as quickly as possible

and i love the little treasures i got

next we went to gunilla's house for lunch

her little home is so beautiful

and she was so hospitable

michael's grandparents wedding photo

this was amazing

laif and siv

more second cousins

the next day we went to michael's great grandma's summer house

that some of laif's cousins live in now

and it was michael's birthday

they took us to hackas church

legend has it

that michael's ancestor brought christianity here in the like the 1400s

and is buried underneath

parts of the church age back as far as the 1200s

it is beautiful

and many of michael's relatives have been married here and many are buried here in the cemetary as well

we got to go inside

and hear an audio guide in english

i feel like it's becoming more apparent all the time how little time we have left with all our kids home
