Our Shiraz Reserve 2008 $24
Central Victorian Shiraz polarises opinion due to the eucalpyt or minty threads that are common. This raw, dark shiraz, from slatey ground south of Castlemaine, relies more on blackberry fruit, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice characters, with only light minty regionality. The profoundly flavoured, medium-weight palate has excellent balance with tight tannis.
(14.5 per cent alcohol; screw cap)
Ageing? Yes, two to six years.

Well its harvest time at the vineyard and now all vines are netted and we expect to start on the chardonnay in late February

Success at Kyneton Wine Show
Our 2007 Shiraz, classified as Silver Medal Standard out of 50 shiraz entries mainly from Macedon Ranges, Heathcote and Bendigo, received a sash for 3rd overall in a strong field. Our 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon also achieved Bronze Medal Standard.

Success at the 2009 Daylesford wine show for our 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, and our recently released 2009 Voignier with both wines being awarded Bronze Medal status

Chardonnay 2007

This Chardonnay is pale straw in colour with white peach fruit flavours. It has been lightly oaked and exhibits a fine citrus finish.... Only a few boxes left of this wine...be quick to snap them up.
