I went outside to have stroll around my house after dinner yesterday and I realized that the moon was freaking bright that night and plus there were no clouds blocking the moon. Although it aint full moon but its still good enough for some photo shooting. So I back to my house to grab my gear and tripod. Attached my 70-300mm lens and I started shooting. Well it isnt my first time shooting the moon but I always failed to get the correct settings and in the end all the photos were wither too bright or too dim. Finally yesterday I got my settings right and here I present my best shot.

Dinner at Feng Wei

Weeks ago I went to Feng Wei with my family for dinner, it is me and my family's favorite place for dinner.The dishes are delicious and served in the right amount.

Mummy's all time favorite spring roll..

This is the recommendation from the captain.. Tong Po Rou.. Although its a little fatty but the meat is very tender and nice.. Love it alot..

Its served with small cute little Man Tou..

And the last is Turtle Stew.. Yup Turtle or can be called Sui Yu.. The meat is a little gelatin like and it is actually quite nice.. Nothing beats a nice comfortable and yummy-licious family dinner at Feng Wei. You outta try it, guarantee you will love it

RIP James Khor

This is a special post for a friend who had just passed away lately, his name is James Khor and he was killed at the Batu Berangkai waterfall with another two UTAR students. It is a rather shocking news when I heard about his decease and that made me feel that life is so much unpredictable. James was a good friend, I was in the same class with him for about a year during our high school days but I knew him back when we were Form 1. Thou he is a little annoying at times, but he has been very helpful towards anyone who is in need of help. His departure is a loss to everyone of us. Sorry for being unable to attend your funeral and may you rest in peace my friend.

Chilis

Had a nice dinner at Chilis after we had 7 games of pool, there was a long queue in front of Chilis. We walked to the reception and we told them we don't mind sitting at the martini bar which is the smoking area, so Zack and I get to go in immediately. We both ordered their giant size burgers as we haven't eaten that for quite some time already. Somehow I realised that the burgers slightly shrunk in size. It used to be bigger but still its enough to fill our stomach. Hehex. The burgers are slightly lack in the aroma and taste compared to Fridays'. Fridays' burgers are still the best.. XD

I used to play pool alot last time, but I stopped already due to the freaking expensive rate charged by Mega Q in Gurney Plaza. Lately my hands felt itchy and I started playing back again. Last Friday I went there with Zack, initially it was just to past some time only but we ended up playing 7 games. And it ended up I lost 6 of them.. WTF!!! Sudah berkarat cukup cukup d.. Wanna train to polish up my skills?? Nah at this freaking expensive pool rate, once in the blue moon main sudah cukup la. Why wanna waste money as I am now jobless with a two months semester break..

Watched Poker King last Thursday, which was the first day of the premier.. Hmm not bad I would say.. They were a few laughing moments where everyone in the cinema went wild.. LOL.. I rated it 7 out of 10. Its a movie to watch if you wanna release stress.

A week before my exam started, I stepped into the cinema with my course mates after class to watch Surrogates. The movie is about people living their lives via robotic surrogates. Those mechanical surrogates are physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. People are living their live without leaving their chair. Isn't that abit like orang cacat lidat?? LOL... The movie was ok. so 7 out of 10.

Finals ended yesterday, phew!! Finally all my subjects are cleared remaining only one more final year project left. I haven't been blogging lately as there was nothing much happening, everyday is just college, assignments and test. Plus my laptop broke down a month ago. Dad got me a HP Pavillion dv3 lately. Whoooo happy!!! But the screen is only 13 inch, 2 inch smaller than my old laptop and I am not really used to it yet. Hehe.. Since I have lots of spare time now, I'll have the time to improve on my photography and update my blog more often. Here is a picture of water dripping I took yesterday..

Sushi King Again

Wednesday I went to Sushi King again at Gurney with Zack since he wanted to makan Sushi also. Reached there at around 5.30pm and the queue was kinda long already. I gave them my name and then went for a walk then returned 20minits later. Ngam ngam my name was called, hehe lucky again... This time I learned my lesson, wont even touch those broken color plates.

The both of us ate about 25 plates of sushi.. Not bad eh..Its even more than what my coursemates and I had the day before.. When we left we saw a much much more longer queue waiting for their turn.LOL.. Hang around in Gurney till 9pm before we went home..

Last Tuesday was the second day of Sushi King every plate RM2 promo, my coursemates and I went Queensbay after class again to makan. We went there around 2pm so there wasn't a big crowd lining outside, we were given a seat inside not long after waiting..

Bloody Hell.. Fucking pissed off when we went to pay our bill at the counter. Why?? Because the RM2 per plate is only applicable to those full color circle plates. Those broken color places are not in promotion. WTF!!! So in the end the bill which was suppose to be RM36 became RM68. So we had no choice but to pay and learned our lesson. Always remember to read the terms and condition before you makan. Haha..

StarBucks Free Coffee

It was last Wednesday (7th of October)during class, my friend saw on newspaper that StarBucks are giving out free coffee to every customer from 10am to 12pm. Since it was free, so a few of us went to QueensBay right after class.

New 1TB External HD

I bought a new hardisc yesterday, its a Western Digital 1TB My Book. I planned to buy it later at the first place. But as my laptop KO-ed with all my info inside my internal hardisc and my initial external hardisc full already. Therefore I am forced to buy the hardisc now. The hardisc is formatted for MAC but by reformatting it using NTFS format, it usable for Windows already. I now have 1000GB of storage therefore I do not have to worry for storage space anymore.

My Book Mac Edition..

Western Digital..Hehe.. I am unable to use my usual watermark as I am now relying on a freaking old laptop which once I open photoshop it lags like shit. Therefore I have to use simple photo editors to add a simple water mark. Haih. Hopefully I'll be able to get a new laptop.

A Big Blow

I am so not in a mood to do anything now. The reason behind is that my laptop died on me yesterday in the middle of the night. This morning I took it to the shop and they suspect its something to do with the motherboard. They'll inform me once they dismantle my laptop tomorrow. If its really the motherboard, I am fucked up for sure d. It'll cost me at least RM800. FUCK!!!! Hope that its not the motherboard that is causing the problem. Haih......................

Final Post for KL Trip

I just realized that I still have some to post from my KL trip last month, Robert and HJ went back to Penang first as they had things to do. Therefore leaving me and WH to roam the town by ourselves. WH's cousin brought us to somewhere near Jalan Alor to try out the NGAU KEE FEHMUS Beef Noodle..

Beef noodle is not something you can often see on the streets of Penang which i do not know the reason for that. It was my firs time eating beef noodles.. Not bad tho..

And a bowl of soup filled with NGAU CHAP (means various parts of the cow)

Ahhh see how WH is enjoying the noodles.. Haha.. The three of us were very hungry and each of us had two servings of the noodles and the NGAU CHAP..

The following day which is the day WH and I are going back, WH's uncle brought us to somewhere near Damasara for TIN KAI CHOK (frog porridge). I have been dying to try out this kind of porridge for quite some time already and I am very satisfied in the end..

CHOK...Its just a stall by the road side..

Tadaaa and the main thing is this GONG POU TIN KAI(frog). It is cooked with dried chilis and its freaking spicy, but I love it alot. This dish is a dish I often see it being recommend on tv food guide. We had 5 pots of porridge and 2 pots of TIN KAI. Guess how much was the bill?? Its RM110!!!! My eyes poped out when the bill came. I'd never expect porridge to cost that much. That meal was WH's uncle's treat. Thank you so much uncle....

After lunch WH's cousin dropped us in One Utama as our bus back to Penang leaves from there. Our bus leaves at 4pm therefore we had a few hours to do our last shopping before heading back to Penang..

WH owns this shop..LOL..

We took Aeroline back..Its not as good as I expected but still consider not bad la..

Bye bye KL..Shall be back for holiday in the year end I guess..

In the bus.. We were served Subway sandwich as dinner..

Subway 6inches is seriously not enough to fill my stomach.. At least serve 12inches mar.. LOL.. Thats all for this trip..Hopefully I'll be able to go down KL again in December for some shopping =)

Test Shot With My Zoom Lens

After I got my lens I immediately tried it out and I was very satisfied with the picture results. People have been telling me zoom lens its best to buy with Image Stablizer but I don't see that its necessary to get it as it all depends on the user itself. IS are for people who does not have stable hands and thats how I feel.

TAMRON 70-300mm Lens

I went down town yesterday to my dad's friend shop to collect my Tamron 70-300mm zoom lens. New lens? No its not new, its a second hand lens with its warranty card attached to it. I got it for a very very reasonable price. Plus it comes with a new Hoya UV filter. Finally I got the lens that enables me to snap photos from a far.

Samsung LED TV Launching

I was at Gurney a few weeks ago and there was a Samsung Roadshow launching their latest LED Tv. Fuiyoor you can never imagine how slim the Tv is....

Gosh take a look.. Its only milimeter thick.. Its even slimmer than a portrait with a frame..

Samsung had invited their ambassador the so called Miss World Malaysia to the official launching..

I had my camera along so I decided to take the opportunity to polish my indoor shooting skills.. My skills still suck alot.. Sigh..

I wasnt able to get the correct expose for it..

And most of the pictures are ruined due to blur-ness..

Therefore I am forced to use the flash..

While I was shooting there I heard some old lady saying "Who is this lai?? Boh fehmus wan.. Why so many people want to take her photo.. LOL" I could not stop giggling that time. Still got lots of improvement needed in order to shoot better indoor photos..

Ipod Nano 5th Generation

Apple launched their latest nano technology, the Ipod 5th Generation and coincidentally I was at Switch the other day so I went to have a hands on on it. Apple pumped in some new features into the Ipod which are integrated camera for video shooting and radio receiver to listen to FM radio.

The new nano has the same body as its predecessor but still there are changes. The screens jumps from 2inches to 2.2inches, which adds extra space for navigation but still its too tiny for a 2 hour movie. However as it has a larger screen the click wheel has been shrunk and it might be a little problem to those with big palms.

It is noticed that the screen resolution is slightly brighter and sharper that the previous model. As for the body Apple added a step in processing which made the body of the nano looks shinier and brighter than the previous gen's subdued matte finish. However this makes this new gen more prone to scratches.

In terms of shooting video, the new nano has an integrated mic and speaker as well as the camera itself. The retail price for the new nano is RM599 for 8GB while the 16GB is RM719.

Daddy!! You still owe me a birthday lunch!! Haha.. On the day of my birthday I was suppose to go for a movie with my friends but something came up last minute so I had to postpone it. At night I went to Salsas with my bestie for dinner. The last time I went to Salsas when it was still located along Kalawai Road but few years ago it moved to Continental Hotel in UPR.

They served their meals in a set which consist of an appetizer, soup, main course and a dessert. Very very reasonable price I would say and I enjoyed the meal.

My appetizer which is smoked salmon with salad..

And after that is the soup of the day..Dont ask me..I duno wad soup is that.. I just know its nice..XD..

Slices of bread are served to go along with the bread..

And the main course roaster chicken with cheese and baked potato..

Finally the dinner ended with a dessert which consist of an vanilla ice-cream and cheese cake.. Yummy yummy... I could not ask for more already with a dinner as awesome as this.. Thanks for the dinner...
